I have been going for years and I have to say it is one of my favorite Chinese take out places. Closest I get to NY take out. The owner is a wonderful lady who has a sharp memory for who you are and what you order.
Seriously the best Chinese food ever. Amazing quality and it is always made fresh. Huge portions and very quality ingredients. Walk up window and cash only.
WOW!WOW!WOW! this review is for the wings(i will never order anything else). This was my first time and was recommended by a coworker to get the Jalapeno Wings and the Shrimp Fried Rice combo. Yes it was $9 but totally worth it. Trust me i've had the claimed "best" chinese wings in both San Francisco and New York, but this place just knocks them out of the ballpark. The wings are amazingly tasty, spicy and addicting. Yes they are greasy but thats whats so good. this is not you every day food maybe not even your weekly, and maybe not even once a month meal. Im sure it packs calories, way too many. But its just comforting to eat this. Its a huge portion of both wings and rice, so you will have leftovers. The rice was quite good, probably in contention for the best fried rice i have ever had. The only thing i didnt like was the .50 cent charge for hot sauce. good thing i have my own at work and didnt have to buy some. P.S - dont be scared of the place. its totally worth it.

I have been here a few times and the good is always amazing!!! The quality and freshness is always consistent. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a must try place. I guarantee you will keep coming back!
They have lots of mouth watered food here on the menu. It isn't a fast food, so don't expect to be a quick cook. The wait time may be a little bit than other restaurants, but it's better than way. I would recommend to try this at least once. The only thing I dislike only just its too pricey.
This is a hole in the wall. Do not judge a book by its cover. The food is authentic Chinese food. Full of flavor! The owners are an elderly couple, that will might not smile all the time but the food is awesome! My favorite is shrimp fried rice and broccoli soft noodles. Reminds me of the restaurants in San Francisco!

Even though the place looks a little rundown the staff is courteous and the food is delicious. Been coming here for years and love going there. Always a great experience.
This is a dive restaurant, but the food is really good and they serve you really large portions. Pricing is great and the service is good. It's worth a try, if you are in the neighborhood.
I love this place. it's divey and its in a bad part of town. (Their window has been shot out with a shotgun and you can still see the holes in the blind.) They have amazing soup. Their hot and sour soup is one of the best I've ever had. and the entrees and apps are good too. The prices are reasonable and the service is better than you would expect looking at the place. Wong's is a great place to eat.

I've been eating here for about a year now, and the food has always been awesome. But omg, they changed their regular cooks for some of the best cooks in town. The food and service have never been better. I will always be a loyal New Garden patron if the food stays as delicious as it has been this last week. Yummy.
AUTHENTIC!! The fried shrimp! Is so good. The chicken chop suey is so good and juicy. The area is a little creepy. But like they say don't judge a book by its cover. You go in thru the kitchen and prices are very reasonable portions are very generous. The only think I don't care for is there are no fountain drinks. It's a cold soda can for a $1.
Went to az for a business trip. Got so hungry and this restaurant filled me up with happiness. The best experience I had in az. Don't like the racist people in Phoenix though.

Great little place, centrally located just West of Central/Camelback. We've had it takeout a few times, but actually ate it there yesterday, and it was delicious. I had the House chicken, which was just the right amount of spicy. The chicken itself seemed really high quality. Even the rice was notably good. We even got a free little desert in the form of a mini mint chocolate ice cream sandwich. The woman who runs the place is great. Very friendly and good service. The inside is clean and has a modern feel. Once again, very nice. My only worry is that every time I frequent this place it is very quiet. A couple of new businesses moved into that strip mall recently, so hopefully things will pick up. Please support this great local business!
I like to support local businesses and see so much potential in this restaurant. When we walked in, the restaurant had a one group of 7 only. We don't see any host so we decided to prop ourselves at a booth. The décor is nothing like you would think at a Chinese restaurant. It was really modern/Ikea like. A small Chinese lady greets us and gives us paper menus, which I think was a little weird. It seemed like there were no other employees except her and the cook. Service was slow. We were there for a whole hour and fifteen minutes! However, I really didn't mind all that much. At first, the restaurant was pretty empty so I thought maybe they didn't have many employees because there aren't many customers, but as the time went on, more and more customers walked in. We left there and there were at least twenty customers after us. I don't know how they will be able to service that many people in a timely manner. So I think maybe they just need to hire some help. Anyway, let's talk about the most important part and why I am giving them 4 stars. The food was fresh and it was really good! We ordered the house special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef. My favorite was the Mongolian Beef - you need to order that! It was packed with flavor! I am not one to brag about Chinese food...I actually am pretty critical on Chinese food so for me to compliment their food, that really means something! Also, when we were given our check, we got fortune cookies AND a small ice cream cookie!! It was such a treat! Try it out, have an open mind, and don't expect to be out of there in 30 minutes.
Amazing customer service! I felt like the woman at the counter was only worried about me and what I needed when in actuality she was treating all of her other customers so well. The place was very clean and very nice. Food was great. I made a special request for Sesame Beef that is not on the menu, it was great. Not as sweet at I like, but seasoned well and tasted great. It seemed slightly high because I am used to paying $8-$10 for an entrée, but I paid $14. Not complaining, just saying and I fully understand because it was a special request and I was not disappointed. I absolutely recommend!

Oh my God, this place is stupid good! My boyfriend and I just bought a house a few minutes away and we were looking for the best local Chinese place for us to settle into and OH. MY. GOD. did we hit the jackpot. I know it sounds a hyperbolic but this is hands down the best Chinese food place I have eaten at in my life. When you order a dinner combination, it comes with SO MUCH FOOD for your money. Egg roll, two fried shrimp, a bowl of soup and a side of rice with your entree (on which they certainly do not skimp.) The sides alone almost make a full meal and they are so delicious. A little on the greasy side but you'll hear no complaints from me (the stuff is /fried/, after all). The soup is the best egg drop soup I've ever had. Thick and meaty, not a bowl of water with a few slivers of egg like I've had at many other places. Thick and hearty with a nice amount of egg and chicken. The egg roll is HUGE compared to the average egg roll and also plenty meaty, not just a fried cabbage pocket. Rice is hot and fresh and delicious. Of the entrees, we've tried the cashew shrimp, orange chicken and sesame chicken and all three of these were completely perfect. Large portions make it well worth the money (about $9-$10 for the dinner combos) and they taste amazing! The cashew shrimp was both savory and creamy at the same time and there was no shortage of shrimp. Sesame chicken was fluffy and juicy and delicious. Orange chicken is, quite literally, the very best orange chicken I have ever had. Deliciously saucy without being overpowering and the chicken slightly crispy which kicks the flavor up just that much more. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about. It's modest but clean and well-kept with a peppering of decoration here and there. Very casual and relaxed which is certainly not a negative for me. The service is pretty casual but definitely friendly. Both times we've been here there have been employees cracking jokes with each other behind the counter but not behaving in any way inappropriately and treating us very respectfully and being sure to keep checking on our needs. I have no problem whatsoever with people enjoying themselves at work provided it doesn't interfere with the service and it definitely didn't. We are really excited about this place and have invited so many people to come eat there with us once we're settled in to the new house. We took home a menu today to put on the fridge for nights that we can't be bothered to cook or go out so they can be our first choice for some delivery.
Been coming here since it opened. Good msg at good prices.
My family and I love this place. The food is always fresh and they can customize our orders to fit within our low carb and low sodium diet. The owners are always friendly and the customer service from the staff is top notch! I highly recommend the happy family, chicken and mushrooms, and the fish dinner (they only have it around Easter).

I have been coming here since I was a kid, love it to this day. Same ladies there every single time! Don't get scared if they raise their voice a bit, they tend to do that! My personal fave is the shrimp low mein!
The food is good... bomb. but the people are rude as hell no customer service typical of most Chinese food restaurants u guess at least the majority a the ones in California are always rude that's how u know it's authentic.
They have the best sesame chicken I've ever had. Yeah, there's tons of other good stuff, like the Mongolian beef or vegetable lo mein, but I keep coming back for the same thing almost every time. Prices are reasonable; you can get a meal for 2 for like $8. Is it in a crappy part of town? Oh heavens yes. But that's how you know it's legit. Don't wuss out, go out of your way to try a tasty, local restaurant. Service is really nice, and they get your order out with haste. I just wish they'd bring back the 80s arcade machines in the dining area.

This place is nothing like the outside. Go in and order! They are nice and the food is delicious. I fell in love immediately. :)
Just happened to be working on some equipment in the plaza and decided it was time for lunch. Yin's was staring me right in the face and my stomach insisted that we visit. Inside is painted pink of all colors and has several cheesy pictures of koi and other Chinese items on the walls. There are booths and some table with chairs and you can usually sit where you want. This is some very Americanized Chinese food and they do a good job of creating some heavy and flavorful sauces. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. So far we have tried a few of the lunch specials. I normally get mine extra spicy and my crew usually orders something on the tamer side. Even got a great suggestion from brother Laz C on my last visit and went with the Curried Chicken. Yum! Service is kinda tricky and takes some effort to get them to your table. They seem to be in a zombie like state and appear somewhat preoccupied. Nothing like a little "Psssst or Yoohoo" to get their attention. Going to play it safe and go with a A-OK rating for this place. Maybe I just like the authentic versions more than the typical Americanized stuff. But don't be surprised if you see me here again when we are working in the area. ORDER UP! 3.25 STARS
One of the best hole in the wall Chinese food Resturant. The egg drop soup is delicious & the orange beef is to die for, if you haven't tried it do so. The kung pao chicken & garlic shrimp are so delicious.

Just fantastic. I was in the area running an errand and decided to order takeout. Ordered the House Lo Mein, Beijing Style Chicken and pot stickers. The man on the other end of the line asked if I wanted free egg rolls. Do I want free egg rolls?! You bet your bottom dollar! All of the food was simply delicious. In addition, it was very inexpensive considering the quality and amount of food. The owner is a cute little woman who is extremely nice and humble. The next time I am in this area, I will order takeout again.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Order from here every other Friday to get my families Chinese fix on. They are always quick, affordable and super-polite and courteous. Can't remember a time I ever had a bad experience here! If you want to clear your sinuses - ask for the homemade hot mustard!
This is our go-to take out Chinese place. They are super fast and have all the standard menu items. Their prices are cheap and still the food is good! If you are looking for something other than a chain and just a simple take-out/delivery give King Wong a try.

Orange chicken and Lo Mein are exquisite! I come from Lynwood, California where the Chinese food is pretty darn good. This is the closest I can get to that. I love their crab angels because they don't skimp on the yummy cream cheese!! I love coming here for lunch because you get the most bang out of your buck. Don't miss out on this lovely restaurant.
They get 5 out 5 starts because they have amazing service. Their food was just amazing. When I first got their I thought it might be horrible but my option quickly changed and I am glad I was able to go there. I'm in love with their food. It was all very cheap.
Yes it doesn't look pleasing but.... it's pretty amazing! Used to come here when I was a little girl and the food still taste good. Portions are gigantic and enough to fill you up with left overs. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. They just need to give a whole new look to their business and it'll be in tip top shape!
