I love Yogurt Mountain. They have a fair selection of toppings, the store is spacious with plenty of places to sit. The frozen yogurt bar has about ten flavors or combos to choose from, including regular tart (comparable to California Tart at Yolo), and Vanilla. Their vanilla is one of the best I've ever had. It tops TCBY, Yolo, and Baskin-Robbins, hands-down. Today I tried out their version of a shiver. In a clear plastic cup (which I had a hard time separating from the rest of the stack), I layered yogurts and toppings, then they blend them for you at the register, to make kind of a concrete. It was great! I ended up spending less than I would have eating from the bowl, too. Average price here for a smaller yogurt cup could be anywhere from $4-7.00. My only criticism is that they did not have any sugar-free options.

I usually love yogurt mountain. It was the coolest thing. I had tried it originally in Austin a few years before we got them in Memphis. The workers were friendly. The only thing I hated was that the selection was not the best tonight. And there was absolutely no fruit toppings except for strawberries. I like blue berries and other fruit so I was disappointed. Also this place is very expensive so I don't come often. Overall it was ok.

I really like this yogurt place but it needs better management. They are always advertising buy one get one free containers of yogurt but often dont have a variety of flavors. I was in there one day this week and the freezer was completely empty! When i ask for a carton of a container and they dont have it the lady just smiles and says no we dont have any cartons. Even if they are serving it that week?? The lady working there needs to be more assertive and explain why. Might just start trying menchies instead.

This little yogurt shop simply cannot stand up to some of the better one's I've experienced in California. To be fair, I've only ever had yogurt of this type at this place and in Los Angeles so the comparison is made over quite a distance. But I've had some downright bad yogurt from this place. The peanut-butter is good. The chocolate is "meh." The raspberry was terrible. Most of the flavors are too strong and taste cheaply manufactured. Of course the seating is cute and the purple and green scheme is fun, and this would probably rock your six year old's world. The topping choices are pretty good (I miss boba. Why doesn't anything in Tennessee have boba?) But I only go here if friends want to go. If it were up to me, I'd forget this place and head for the nearest baskin robins.

Yogurt was very good. They give you sample cups to try out the yogurt flavors. Large selection of toppings to choose from. Warn the kids they charge by weight!

I have been to many different frozen yogurt places. This place is so expensive! $17 for two yogurts!? They're not even full! Give me a break! I think it is like $0.49 per oz or something which is ridiculous. In California it is around $0.32 per oz. They only have one flavored tart which rotates and they aren't very strong flavors. But, besides the eye gouging price the other thing that has ticked me off when I have went there is the lack of fruit toppings. Strawberries. That's it? Maraschino cherries don't count. Their abundance of different and unique candies are awesome but I don't put that on my yogurt. I want fruit. Additionally since everyone wants fruit, the strawberries are frequently out. The décor is nice and they offer tasting cups so you don't stick your grimy sneezed-on sick fingers on the spouts. Good for them on that one. Bottom line- I'm going to try to find another place.

Tons of yogurt flavors, unbelievably tasty. I love the Cherry Amaretto, German Chocolate, Triple Chocolate, and there is even a cake flavor that is amazing. I have not tried a flavor that I didn't like. And, toppings? Amazing. So many toppings. You do need to watch yourself because the cup you get is huge and you can lose track, but I have kept it below $4 every time I have been there, exercising a lot of restraint. Bottom line: delicious!

Went to the location on Poplar in the new shopping center that used to be Ridgeway Trace apartments. I was visiting, and I know there are lots of fro yo shops around town, and this one is closest to my parent's house. It was 98 degrees outside at 8:30 on this evening, so I expected it to be crowded. It was not at all. Only one couple in there and one family came in as I was finishing. There were 12-16 choices of yogurt, and I was offered sample cups as I walked in. This was nice. I made a great yogurt dessert with awesome toppings. Will definitely be back.

Over-rated. Over-priced. Sold by weight. About $8 / lb. No better than other places.

I've gotta admit, I've always been a fan of frozen yogurt, but I was a little miffed by all these new places that seemingly popped up overnight. But man, Yogurt Mountain is just awesome. Their yogurt is awesome, and their flavours have a lot more variety than TCBY offers, so I happily accept them as competition. Plus they frequently rotate their flavours from a huge list (along with seasonal flavours too) so there's always something for everyone. It's more than just the usual vanilla or chocolate. The only downside is their malted candy egg (I think that's the name) flavour isn't available year-round, only around Easter. It's so yummy. They also offer at least one flavour of sorbet every day as well, with orange being my favourite. It's so yummy. Have some of that with a little bit of vanilla and it's a healthier version of a creamsicle! Plus they have other yogurt flavours you wouldn't find other places, like caramel pretzel, key lime pie (amazing), and lemon ice box pie. If you would like to know what anything tastes like just ask one of the friendly employees for some sample cups and you can taste as many flavours as you want. Then, there's the toppings. There's your usual fare of candies and cereals all these places offer, but I like that they offer lots of choices for syrups. Most places just offer hot fudge, caramel, and maybe Nutella and that's it. But here they have marshmallow cream, berry syrups, and even lemon. There's also some juice poppers (just as they sound, little pearls filled with a particular type of juice: mango, passion fruit, or strawberry). So there's plenty of stuff like marshmallow cream and gummi bears to appeal to the young and young at heart, but then for more grown-up tastes there's other things too. Of course this place does measure everything by weight, so you pay for how many ounces you put in your cup, whether it's all frozen yogurt or only a tiny bit of froyo and lots of toppings. The cups are huge but since it's by weight, just don't fill them up very much.

The flavors are diverse enough to warrant another stop here when in town. A break from the usual (chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, red velvet, etc) was nice to see. Be careful, before you know it you're sitting on a $7 cup of yogurt. The place is clean, the service pleasant.

Our family heads out for a treat at various frozen yogurts places a few times a month. This YM store is geographically the closest of all the options - but after a few visits we've concluded the quality or 'flavorful-ness' is far less than YoLo, TCBY or Gracie Bleu. It's honestly worth the drive to get better stuff.

It's not the most impressive FroYo place I've ever been to, BUT w/ three kids, it deff does the job :) They have a lot to choose from as far as FroYo Flavors and Toppings. I'm not a fan of buffet style places so that is a little downer for me. They charge by weight and their cups come in 2 sizes...Huge and Gargantuan LOL so be wary of that. I like to fill my cup about 1/4 of the way. I did that w/ my kids too and none of them could finish their FroYo despite the candy they topped it off with so 1/4 a "small" cup is more than enough for a child for sure. I'd hate for someone to fill it up and pay a ton for something they won't even finish. We were all happy w/ our creations though, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. I think this will be a regular place for us until they build a Pink Berry next door.

I enjoyed the various unique flavors of yogurt they had. The yogurt was also deliciously smooth and creamy. However, their toppings bar was a bit disappointing. I am used to YoLo, where there are freshly baked goodies from local bakeries in town. Yogurt Mountain only had cereal, syrups, and candy. While I am sure the kids love it, they decor kind of gave me a headache as well. Everything is lime green and bright purple.

Great flavors to choose from. Love the tons of toppings. Wish they had walnuts in syrup, though.... The small cup, filled with my favorites runs around $5. If you are $$ conscious be careful or weigh as you go. I have seen the big cups go for $10 or more! I won't eat there daily, or even weekly, but I do love the place. it is self serve and you can get samples of the flavors if you can't decide between German Chocolate cake or triple chocolate.

Went on 11/16. This is a serve yourself frozen yogurt place. You get sample cups to try the yogurt, then you are given a small tub to fill er up, at $0.45 an ounce. I liked espresso and chocolate & vanilla the most. The exotic flavors (i.e. pumpkin, apple pie) not so much. Once you get your yogurt, you go over to the topping station and select candy, sprinkles, cereal (including the sugary variety), fruit and hot fudge / chocolate syrup. Then you go weigh in your selection and pay. Pros: A lot of yogurt flavors to choose from. Lots of toppings. Cons: No free cups of water... No small yogurt cups. One tub fits all, so it's easy to lose perspective on how much you put in. 3 stars out of 5.

Wow! What a nice place. It's a fix it yourself yogurt shop. The flavors and toppings are great - every thing from Reese's Pieces to Lucky Charms (the cereal). Great warm day stop off!

Banana pudding taste just like banana laffy taffy. Yum! Cups are a bit big but if you are careful it's not expensive. Cake batter is to die for. Great selection if high quality toppings.
