If you're looking for 5 star Asian cuisine (by taste) with that cool hole in the wall vibe - this is your place. We love Tycoon. Phenomenal Singapore Noodles. Very good pricing. Nearly every entree is under $10. Tycoon is a family run establishment in a bad area that needs an interior designer. But if you put this same exact restaurant in Overton Square, it would have a two week wait for a table. It's that good.

This is my favorite Asian takeout place. We order from here about 2-3 times a month. The couple who owns Tycoon Noodle is super nice. We think their speciality is their noodle soups, thus the name, Tycoon NOODLE. We love to get the Tom Kha Kai (NS7 on the menu) and a large order of orange chicken. The NS7 is a spicy chicken coconut curry soup. You get enough for two people to split. If you order and pick up, it only takes about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. We don't really like eating at the restaurant... They also have a really high health inspection score.

Ok, so I have to say this is probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Memphis. Small space, but I can promise you that you'll receive the best service and meal that you've had in awhile! Decided to try them again yesterday for lunch and started off with Crab Rangoon as an appetizer and the Tom Yum Pho as my meal, which is basically Vietnamese Gumbo. Shrimp, Chicken, onions, Jalapeños, mushrooms, green peppers, and more were included in this amazing dish! I would suggest it for anyone! But don't let me weigh down your thoughts, there's so much that you can try there for amazing prices! Stop by anytime and enjoy! I can promise you that it's worth it!

Any time that I can find a lunch option for around five dollars, I am a happy camper. I grow tired of Wendy's, and I've noticed that their prices are getting higher and higher. Tycoon is an Asian place that offers a good selection of rather inexpensive fare. So I went into Tycoon, really not expecting to be wowed. And while I wasn't wowed, I was pleased. The broccoli chicken dish is pretty great. Did I mention that it was around $5? Excellent. And the service is quick without being rushed. It wasn't too busy when I was there, and it was nice and clean.

Food is very good but sometimes service is slow... UPDATE Bathrooms were kinda not clean....I went in and washed hands. about 20 min after leaving I had BIG TIME intestinal problems....as much as I like the soup, I'm going to avoid risking getting sick like that again...

I wish I had had something other than the spring roll. I have no idea what is in that thing but hopefully it is stinky cabbage. I couldn't eat the rest of my food because the spring roll turned me off. Also the restaurant has no air conditioning, leaking ceiling tiles, and is run by twin girls who look to be about 7 years old. Come on guys, give the girls their summer and let them have fun.

You know that restaurant with the mediocre food that you continue to support because at least they bring it to your door on days where you just can't work up the energy to leave the house? Tycoon is that place. However, apparently now they no longer deliver. If you're going to bring your greasy, overcooked chow made from what seems to be less than fresh ingredients to people's doors, you have a niche. It is appreciated. When you remove that niche, there are a dozen other places to get pho, curry, or noodle dishes around town that have a far superior product these days. Sorry guys. I'm out.

I ate here, to go with a friend, two weeks ago. I ordered spring rolls, a tofu dish with veggies, coconut shrimp and coconut soup. The spring rolls tasted off, like maybe they were cooked in old oil maybe. The coconut shrimp were cooked so hard I was concerned about my teeth. The tofu was soggy and not seasoned. The veggies were ok. The coconut soup also tasted off, and they added too much spice to counteract the poor soup taste. The service was terrible ! I came in behind a couple who were unsure about what they wanted. Out of the two at the front desk, no one apologized for the wait. After the couple ordered, the man who took their order left, and I waited because I thought the other young man at the front desk was finishing something up. Finally I told him I had a to go order to pick up. I was given my order that was sitting on a table in the dining area. I ate here because of all the positive reviews on yelp. I'm convinced they're all posted by one person, maybe the guy at the front desk of Tycoon.

We are close enough to be eligible for delivery and take advantage of it at least once a month. They don't take credit cards for delivery, but we seem to have been grandfathered in for this privilege. It's a bit tedious to order with the language barrier and on occasion a child tries to take our order before passing the phone to an adult, but we just know it to be part of the process. The food is a solid average. I worked in a Chinese place for over a decade so my standards may be a little high for this style, though. Most dishes seem a little too "something" but it's never enough to discourage me from return business. The Crab Rangoon are a little overdone, the Mongolian Beef a little too oily, the Coconut Curry Chicken a little too dry, etc. Again, just a little too "something" to make it better than average. On the other hand, the delivery guy is always smiling and pleasant!

I found this place on Yelp and had never heard of it. The decor made me a little skeptical but the food made up for it. The prices are reasonable. I've eaten here a few times and everything I've tried has been amazing. The employees are nice. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Want something to eat and could not leave work. Located some delivery on yelp. Wanted Asian food. This place had high marks and I decided to try it. It was outstanding. Sesame Chicken & shrimp fried rice. Had to be basic cause I'm trying something new. This food was delivered hot, tasted great, and is now on the will do again list. A little pricey for delivery but a good first time experience. I enjoyed it and may try dining in when I get a chance.

We always order delivery as it's located right down the road. So this review speaks to food and delivery service only. I can truthfully say we have tried almost everything on the menu. I just decided last night to try to "check in" to be able to review. Last night was probably my favorite. I've had the Jalapeño chicken once before and it was amazing. Lightly breaded and sautéed with some light sweet sauce along with a small amount of chopped onions and a good amount of fresh sliced jalapeños...seeds included! Be sure you ask for the boneless meal which includes fried, steamed, or brown rice. I had ordered it once before and they sent the winged chicken variety, so I thought it was no longer on the menu. Their dumplings have become a standard starter for my beau and me. The only question is 1 order of 6 or 2. Opt for 2 if you want your fair share as they go quick. Their dumplings are a mouth explosion of goodness. They use the thinner spring roll wrappers for their dumplings, wontons, and egg rolls, which I prefer, so there's no thick dough taking over the filling. They lightly pan fry the dumplings adding a little crunch to the silkiness and they use a sweet soy sauce concoction as a side dipping sauce that really puts them over the edge. My beau also orders the fried egg rolls. Again the wrapper is thin and crunchy and surrounds a nice portion of finely chopped chicken with a few spices. All chicken. All good. They are 2 per order and come with 3 dipping sauces. A spicy one, a hot mustard, and a sweeter one that is both our faves. He ordered the sweet & sour chicken last night. Nothing notable there. Generous portions of chicken with equally generous portions of breading with a generous side of sweet & sour sauce. I don't like a load of breading, so they were meh for me, but it was his dinner and he liked it. In the past we have ordered the wonton soup, both chicken & pork, and the Tom Yum soup. Would highly recommend both of those as well. Delivery is PDQ and the food arrives hot. The delivery people are the owners and family and are ALWAYS super nice. Maybe one day we'll make it into the restaurant proper.

Some of the BEST Vietnamese food in Memphis by a long shot! I've never been disappointed with my service or my food. This restaurant is quaint and tucked away, but it is definitely a must eat! Try the Tom Yum soup or the Thai Tom Kha Kai soup!

The food is so delicious and fresh. I love tom yum and had an awesome bowl of it. My friend had the pad thai so I had a taste of that too and will get that next time. Sevice is really friendly but there is only 2 people working there so they can run a little behind but they work hard and give you a lot of good food!

I am still keeping track, and thanks to this place, I think I finally have found over 100 Asians in Memphis (I found 6, not double counting). I was told this place had some good noodles, so I met Kyle W here one day before work for some lunch. And I am glad I did. He kept telling me about the Singapore Noodles- which I thought I found the grail at Ming's in Duluth, GA. But, after their slacking, I can honestly say I have found a new spot for them. I had gotten there, and the one thing I did notice, was that there was one Asian customer(a female), 6 Caucasian males, Kyle, and myself. Now, I am not trying to tie race into this at all, but now I am starting to wonder- what was with all of the dudes in here? Am I missing out on something? Hell, I was just there to eat, I didn't ask questions. I can tell it looked like this place has been around for a while, which was good, meaning they must be doing something right. I haven't not taken an in depth look at the health dept scores in TN yet, so I had no idea how to measure their sanitation (maybe that's a good thing?). I do know, they had a lot to offer, but after careful thinking, I decided to try the Singapore Noodles. I wanted to see if they were as good as Ming's. Our starters came out first- crab Rangoon, and pot stickers. They were satisfying, but enough to still leave us hungry. While I was drinking my Coke, it almost tasted like bleach. But I didn't gain any superpowers that day, so I was sort of disappointed. The noodles came. And the plate wasn't as big as I was normally used to, but I did noticed two things- the noodles were actually cut, so it was easier to eat, and there were way less veggies, and the ones that were there were cooked more thoroughly. I did beg the guy to make it as spicy as possible, but he must have totally disregarded that statement, as they were not hot like I begged. The actual noodles beat Ming's in my opinion, but I wish they had that missing kick! At the end of the meal, it was time to get the bill and fortune cookies. Mine read "the next time you go fishing, your catch will be plentiful." HA! A solid place to check out, will definitely have to come back- as the van in the lot says, "Best Asian food in town!"

It's been years since I posted a Yelp review but I realize I have been remiss in not raving about my family's favorite Asian restaurant in town. As another reviewer said, the menu here is so expansive it can be a little overwhelming but we have been coming here for more than 5 years now and we have never ordered anything that we didn't like. Some of our favorites include Singapore noodles, Thai fried rice and the Tom Yum soup. This place is run by a sweet couple who always make sure we have a stellar customer service experience. If you haven't been, you are missing out!

This place serves American-Chinese food and a collection of authentic Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, and Singapore noodles. This is definitely a place that I stop by all the time. I'm typically here for noodles, but I do have my American-Chinese urges. Everything here is priced right. I would give this place 5 stars if they actually hire a waiter! The husband and wife team is also chef, waiter, and food delivery. Seriously, they left me alone there once! But they are awesome people.

Finally made it to the noodle shop for lunch, it was everything I dreamed and more! It's a very comfortable atmosphere, the employees were kind. And the food gave me a foodgasm, the sesame green beans were fresh and crisp, the sweet and sour soup was THE PERFECT HARMOMY of sweet and sour and the crispy noodles took me over board, the Thai rice was a beautiful blend of flavors that my taste buds weren't ready for. I plan to bring my entire family very soon

I wish they could give 1/2 stars, but I'll average up instead of down so that places like this aren't overlooked. It's hard for me to find a good spot to get some Asian food here in Memphis. I've had some of the best in Chinatowns throughout the nation, and plenty of home cooked meals. I've tried the other Pho restaurants in town, and I was quite disappointed with those... thus, I thought I'd try out the pho here. [Pho aka Vietnamese beef noodle soup] Tycoon gives a large serving with a whole lot of noodles, too much I think actually. The beef was more like chunks of meat rather than thinly sliced raw pieces that should cook in the hot broth. The broth was decent, as if they actually put some effort into making it. The dish came pre-dressed with jalapenos, a wedge of lime and a few other herbs. I asked for extra lime to add more sourness to the broth, extra bean sprouts would have been nice, and as well as some fresh basil leaves. All in all, I enjoyed it enough that I'll probably venture back to try some of the other dishes.

If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese pho, this is not the place. It tasted more like a packaged noodle from a bag. I've had pho all over the US, and this may have been the worst.

Unassuming Chinese restaurant that delivers. Literally. The decor is post-Mao shabby-chic, but the food is worth the trip. As the name implies, this place specializes in noodle dishes. Haven't had a bad meal yet, but I tend to stick with what I know, the Shanghai Noodles are to die for. They have a large menu with many vegetarian dishes available. The average entree runs about $9, which is a little more than I'm used to paying for lunch, but I don't complain because the food is that good.

I think I have been back to Tycoon Noodle Shop every weekend since my first review. If it were closer to home it would be more often. I don't cook at home anymore and Asian food is my favorite cuisine, so Tycoon Noodle Shop would be my kitchen. I have been stuck on the soups. Varying between Tom Yum, Tom Kha Kai, Malaysian Satay or Beef Pho. Yes, even in this heat I savor these steamy bowls of goodness. I read Deen's review and decided I would sample the Singapore Noodles (extra spicy.) What an absolute delight this plate of noodles turned out to be. I have had this dish at other restaurants and usually found it to be too greasy, not here , it was just right and so full of flavor. I also had a small bowl (large at most places) of Hot and Sour soup for $1.99 and it was a very good recipe. The menu is deep. I can't wait to try more. Can you tell I like this place. I think you'll like it too.

I have found my new favorite Asian restaurant in Tycoon. The daughter and I ate here for the first time today and both agreed it was pretty darn tasty. She opted to get the chicken teriyaki on a stick along with the pot stickers off the appetizer menu for her meal. (The child never met a pot sticker she didn't like) I chose the Vietnamese egg roll and Singapore noodles. Teriyaki chicken was not was she was expecting. There was no sauce on it and instead of maybe it being marinated in teriyaki sauce, it tasted like 5 spice. She ate it, but I could tell she was disappointed. The pot stickers didn't stand a chance and were devoured quickly. Lucky for me I grabbed one - they were pretty good! My egg roll was nice - crispy and full of meat. I loved the mango dipping sauce served along with it. The Singapore noodles, though.....THOSE were the star of the show! Thin, vermicelli like rice noodles stir fried with onions, garlic, chicken in a slightly spicy curry. My taste buds were singing. We were the only people dining at lunch, but several people came in for carry-out. I heard "Singapore Noodles" more than a few times, so it must be a popular dish. Prices were reasonable for the portion size. I am already daydreaming about our next visit. Something here for everyone.

Really good Asian food! Combination of Thai , Vietnamese , and Chinese ...and everything just explodes with flavor. FYI ... For those of you that enjoy the local and atmosphere of the establishment in which you eat, I recommend getting your food to go. The location is not very good, the building is run down and decor very dated, the air doesn't work very good in the summer but the food is dynamite! I have tried many things and all are very good. For those of you that like spicy, try the Tom Yum Soup if you dare!! Very Good!

I like this little place. I have been a semi-regular now for well over 10 yrs. Once again it is a Mom and Pop place and has its quirks. I have always found the owners to be very nice and helpful. The Tom Kai Kai is really good. I would also recommend their wings as some of the best in the city. Several styles and all I've tried have been great. They do a curry chicken, potato, etc lunch special that is very good , especially for 6 bucks. The sauces are all home made and good. It is a good choice of you find yourself in the Kirby 385 area and want some good food at very reasonable prices. I would really probably give 3.5 stars but I have decided to grade higher and put notes instead of grading lower with notes. Not fair to lower a places ratings.

My husband and I found Tycoon Noodle Shop while visiting Memphis. We decided to give it a try since we were both looking for an Asian place to eat. The menu has a lot of options, and the price was reasonably priced. We ordered the Singaporean noodles and a bowl of pho. The owner of the restaurant was very nice, and seated us immediately. Seems like he is the only one managing the place, while his wife cooks in the back kitchen. The food came out pretty fast, and the portion of our entrees was large enough. I was however, disappointed that there were no mung sprouts that came with the pho (usually in most pho places, they give you a plate of mung spourts on the side). The pho tasted okay, but there was not a lot of vegetables or meat (only a lot of noodles). The Singaporean noodles were good, and had more meat and vegetables. We may come back in the future, but we weren't impressed by the food.

my father has been recommending tycoon to me for years and my coworkers love it too. i work across the street and have been twice in the past week for lunch; once for takeout and once with friends. but i'm kicking myself for not getting on board sooner...! as other reviewers have stressed, this is not a very nice / upscale place. there are plastic flowers on the tables. however, it is clean and bright. and aesthetics aren't so important when the food is good - and the food is GOOD at tycoon. first off, the service is friendly and efficient. it could have been a little more attentive towards the end (we needed to-go boxes and more water), but our requests were met once we asked. the food came quickly and was, as i said, really delicious. i went with two friends and we ordered vegetarian egg rolls and an order of cold spring rolls with shrimp. both were amazing. i had the singapore noodles, one of my friends had the tom yum soup and my other friend had the house curry with shrimp. we were all happy with our choices and also left with to-go boxes - plenty of leftovers each for another meal. and we like to eat; the portions are pretty big. i think each of our bills came to about $13 +/-, but only because we ordered appetizers. i also ordered a horchata to go. i'd heard of the rice, almond and cinnamon drink and wanted to try it. (it's good, but not something i'd order again. very sweet.) if it weren't for the other items, we would have each had lunch for around $10 - which i think is a great deal. ***tycoon will make ANY dish on the menu vegetarian. maybe a lot of asian restaurants / noodle houses will do this, but it was (good) news to me - as i don't regularly eat meat.

I was looking for a place that had Chinese food close to my work, and I stumbled upon this place nestled into an old shopping center on Kirby next to a "rhythm and blues club". I was not disappointed! One of those out of the way "best kept secret" kind of places. I got the crab rangoons and a General Tso's combo. The main course was very good- just the right mix of sweet and spicy, with big chunks of fresh vegetables. Also, when I picked up the food I noticed the lobby was full of well-cultivated live plants- a nice touch. I'll definitely be back! Only down side- I asked for some sweet and sour sauce and they charged me extra for a teensy cup. But all in all a good little place for American-Chinese. Haven't tried any of the other dishes yet but I will.

This place has been generating some buzz recently, and I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I hadn't heard of this place until last month, and had I happened to drive by, I wouldn't have stopped. Thankfully, some positive Yelp reviews steered me in. The food is the star here. They offer a wide variety of reasonably priced Asian cuisine. In fact, the menu is so expansive that ordering can be overwhelming. The Tom Yum soup (Thai gumbo) is enormous and fantastic. I made the mistake of ordering it on a 100+ degree day and paid the price by sweating though the entire lunch (it's spicy), but it was totally worth it. On my second visit, I had the Singapore noodles and was again impressed. The only drawback is the atmosphere and decor. I don't mind a hole-in-the-wall food joint, but the decor here is somewhat disastrous. Kodak printouts of the food taped to the hostess stand, a water-stained drop ceiling, and 1980s floral print table cloths. It's also disconcerting how empty the place has been during both of my visits. Nonetheless, the food is great, the service is friendly, and the prices are fair. It's also conveniently located for the 385-corridor-lunch-crowd, which is a rarity. I'm a fan.

Thomas O., one of my Yelp friends, turned me on to this place. Having been all over the world has its perks, one of them is the keen ability to judge ethnic foods against the "real mccoys". Its hard to explain what we experienced against our expectations, afterall life all over the world has its perks. It is quite surreal eating this type of meal in Memphis, honestly the town can barely handle BBQ. This place is a family operated establishment........so lets see what happens. I would not expect to be wowed with 5 star dining when you enter this joint, it is........used........although the sanitation sheet at the front door says they scored 93. Very typical of noodle houses in Asia, no muss, no fuss.......just straight forward noodle dishes. Of course they do carry a wide range of Asian food, from Thai to Chinese, but I was there for the Thai soup specifically. We were seated at the front of the store, the table was clean if a bit fashionably outdated in decor. They really need to spend some time cleaning the walls, but the condiment bottles were clean. There is some sort of mural on the interior wall that faces the front glass, that mural is on a sheet of plywood, that sheet of plywood is the only thing that separates the customers from the kitchen. You guessed it, we could hear everything that went on in the kitchen. If you havent been around the culture, they are very animated........it was fun to hear them in the kitchen, then have our Mamasan (no disrespect intended, just trying to explain the matriarchal position I believe she holds) wait come to us all smiles like nothing happened. Priceless!!! I had the Tom Yum Soup (Thai Gumbo) and cold Spring Rolls. Krista had the House Lo Mein plate. The spring rolls were pretty good, they were large but had fake crab in them. Which isnt a surprise considering this is a family place that is trying to make ends meet in this economy. Youd never see fake crab meat in a real spring roll. The peanut sauce was interesting, it had a chocolate influence. My soup was very good for what it was and where we are.......I feel like it was lacking a few things, namely lemongrass, fish sauce, and galangal.......all ingredients that add greatly to the underlying cost of the dish, but they did a very good job of bringing out the flavors. I really enjoyed the soup, and it brought back memories of liberty in foreign ports, and the great food enjoyed there. The shrimp was not overcooked, the noodle was perfect, and the chicken had great flavor. There was ample heat, and the Thai Chilis were awesome!!! Maybe a little less cilantro, but thats a taste thing for me. My palate tends to the salty side, so I found myself adding some soy sauce, but again thats a taste preference thing. Kristas plate had chicken, beef, and shrimp in it and she really enjoyed it was well. The plate was full, and she brought more than half of it home. The sauce was deep and rich, the noodles tender, exactly what youd expect from a noodle house (the noodles that is, you wouldnt expect to see Lo Mein in a noodle house abroad)........it did have a bit of a scorch taste to it, but it was very mild. Heres the thing, this type of food is the Asian version of homey food. There is no way youll step in the store and think youve entered a 5 star joint, but then youre not supposed to. This is a noodle house, and a noodle house it is. If you wanna know what noodle houses in the Pacific Rim and Asia are like, go to Tycoon. If you want some sort of pretentious, unrealistic Americanized version...go somewhere else. This family is the real deal, dont let the look fool you. The food is pretty close to the real thing................short a few minor cost cutting areas. Worth the effort Id say, going there wont hurt your feelings. Give em a shot, Tom was right, for the price in Memphis, you wont be disappointed. Good job Thomas, I knew there was a reason were friends!! Thanks

I've had many bowls of tom yum soup over the years, though none quite the same as the fragrant bowl served at the long-gone Royal Dragon on Cleveland. But the closest I've found is at Tycoon, which may not be the "best Asian food in town," as proclaimed on its menu, but sure does serve up a mean bowl of tom yum. It undoubtedly comes closest to Royal Dragon in achieving that perfect balance of spicy and sour. Throw a handful of Asian basil on just before serving, like they did back in the day at the Dragon, and I'd be there a couple of times a week. Seriously, because there is something addictive in that basil. At Tycoon, the soups come with noodles, but you can substitute rice (I do with the tom yum). You'll want one or the other to help cool the fire, as the kitchen is not stingy with the heat. A lovely soup. Entrees are pretty standard fare -- tasty enough, if not particularly noteworthy. I stopped by Tycoon one evening purely out of convenience, as it was on of the few places open and close to the hotel I was staying at in Memphis. I walked in and was a little confused on whether they wanted me to order at the counter or just sit down and order as I had planned on dinning in. The décor was very out dated and the building seemed to be lacking in basic up keep, but I don't mind a dive as long as the food is good. I ordered the Crab Rangoon, Tom Yum Soup and a Sweet Tea. They brought the Tea and Crab Rangoon out and it looked great as I was hungry, but I wasn't impressed at all and was thinking I should have saved my $4 and just waited for the Soup. The goons were not all the way done and very chunky on the inside and still a bit cold, like they hadn't been cooked long enough. Luckily the Sweet Tea was great and I choked them down as I waited for the soup. I sat waiting for my soup and pondering child labor laws as I watched the owners young children busing tables and cleaning up the dinning room. My Tom Yum Soup finally arrived at the table and I was not disappointed. It came out in a bowl big enough to feed two people and unlike the goons it was piping hot. The soup had a great kick and just the smell was enough to make your eyes water, just the way I like it. I enjoyed the soup enough to make a second visit to Tycoon a week later when I was back in Memphis. On my second trip I tried the goons again, still didn't like them, and the Singapore Noodles which I thought were great.

We went with another couple for lunch yesterday, it was our first visit and probably our last. Our tea and soda took 20 minutes to get to the table, and I should have known to leave then. Our companions ordered the thai coffie and chai tea... both were from instant mixes and unflavorful. Another 2p minutes and our appetizers showed up. The apps were the one positive thing about the visit. We had the pupu platter which had 2 coconut shrimp, two *delightful* fresh crab rangoons, and two rolls with some odd ground chicken (I think) filling. My wifes curry chicken had very little heat and looked like it would congeal at any minute. I ordered a General Tso Shrimp...they brought me the dinner instead of a lunch (same portion size, no soup, and 6.00 more) and it had absolutely no heat to it - temperature or spice. Combines with the water having a stale taste and the soda syrup being unbalanced, it was disappointing all the way around.

When my sister lived here for a summer, she and her friends would often go to Tycoon for lunch. From the outside, it doesn't look too exciting. Inside is good food for a bargain price, especially at lunchtime. The lunch specials are roughly 5 bucks. You can choose from broccoli chicken, potato beef, asian breaded porkchop, sweet and sour pineapple chicken, oriental shrimp, garlic spinach over rice, and the star dish, coconut curry chicken. It is a hefty portion of spicy goodness. Another tasty favorite is the vietnamese spring roll served cold with fresh cilantro, 2 whole fat shrimp, bean thread noodles, and a spicy rich peanut sauce. If you are in the mood for noodles, don't miss the double pan fried noodles with chicken, beef, and shrimp. My friend has a soup for lunch that he raved about. It was the Thai Tom Khai Kai with coconut milk. He said it really was tasty. The house fried rice as well as the house lo mein was mediocre. I would stick to the other dishes. They also have a huge polaroid collection of what each of their dishes looks like in case you want to see before you eat it. If you don't want to see it, but want a safe bet then just go with my suggestions. They don't serve alcohol here but they do have some interesting non alcoholic tropical drinks. I like the thai iced tea. It is a strange taste at first but it grows on you. So if you are low in funds but want a spicy yet filling lunch, try the Tycoon Noodle Shop on Kirby Parkway.
