I went to this restaurant only because I bought a Groupon to see how the food was. While the staff is very nice, the service is quite slow even though there was no one else there when myself and some friends went. The cheesecake is delicious, but everything else........nah. I can appreciate the effort and concept. This place would do good if it were located in mid town. Unfortunately, I don't see it being open much longer.

As a vegan, I was really excited about eating at Two Vegan Sistas for the first time. The menu looked absolutely delicious, with a good mix of raw and cooked items. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to my expectations. The service was rather slow, even though the place was dead. I ordered the large green smoothie for $4 and it was tiny. More importantly, it was completely bland and foamy on top. It was supposed to have greens, bananas, almond milk and other fruit, but it tasted like just greens, water, and maybe a splash of almond milk. I drank it because I was hungry and have had my fair share of gross green smoothies in the past. I can't imagine someone new to green smoothies ordering this and being able to do the same. Assuming the large green smoothie would be, well...LARGE...I didn't order an entree. Instead I shared two appetizers to share with the two others with me. We got two orders of the raw sushi wraps (ok, nothing special) and the guacamole with flax crackers (guacamole was ok, the flax crackers were very tasty, albeit flimsy and hard to scoop up the guacamole with). The entrees my fellow diners ordered were also disappointing. One was the mock chicken salad with the spinach salad. The other was the raw falafel with the sauteed collards. The chicken salad looked nothing like chicken salad and was a hilariously tiny portion. The falafel was also a small portion and (apparently, I didn't taste it) under-spiced. However, the collard were apparently excellent. All told, the meal cost over $50 and everyone ending up eating again by the time we got home. With all of the vegan options here in Memphis, there is no impetus for me to visit Two Vegan Sistas. I can get a tastier and much more satisfying meal at P.F Chang's, Jason's Deli, Fuel (I highly recommend the Dragon Bowl), Huey's, Young Avenue Deli, A-Tan, Chipotle and a dozen other establishments.

Vegan paradise! We got the sampler platter to try as much as possible. Glad we did. The mock chicken salad and barbecue sandwich were amazing. I will come here EVERY time I come to memphis.

I went for lunch to this spot on Summer near Elmore, which was kind of hard to find due to lack of major signage (they have a sign on the door, just nothing on the actual building). They have a pretty large menu of all vegan, and many raw vegan, items. Whereas Imagine Vegan Cafe is more of a comfort food place, this menu seemed to represent more healthy choices. They both have their place, and I appreciate both. Service was...interesting. The sisters are sweet as can be, but they seemed to be inexperienced and a little unsure on everything but the food (because the food was very good). When I walked in, I felt like I had to initiate the transaction by asking if I could have lunch, and then asking if I could see a menu. Then the credit card machine didn't work, but maybe it was just me. It seemed like they forgot about something I ordered because it took a long time. I guess you could call it a very casual approach to service, so be aware of that if you go. And it's still a new place, so hopefully these kinks will get worked out. I got the "chicken" salad sandwich and it was really good! Loved it. Then I tried the Reese's peanut butter pie for dessert, and although I didn't think I'd like it just looking at it when it came out (it's not pie, it's more like goulash type pudding), it was awesome. I'm vegan so I'll definitely be back many times, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. I guess that's why I'm even commenting on the service. I need places like this to stay open so I don't have to resort to French fry entrees when eating out!

I love Two Vegan Sistas! The food is delicious and the owners are lovely. Eating healthy should taste this good! Even if you're not vegan do yourself a favor and go over for lunch or dinner. You'll be glad that you did!

I had my first lunch at Two Sistas, and it was great. I didn't know what to expect (beging definitely not vegan), so everything was a delicious experience. The cashew burger, no bread, was perfect. Good but not the same old. The freeze dried zuchinni chips and kale chips added a healthy, tasty crunch. Worth the trip out of the I-240 loop for a unique, healthy, and tasty meal experience.

One of the things that I discovered very quickly upon moving to the South is that there are plenty of delicious foods around town that are not exactly...health conscious. However, there is a hidden local gem in this area ran by two sisters looking to promote healthy eating with various meals inspired by their Southern upbringing: Two Vegan Sistas. One thing that really sets this establishment apart is that they offer meal plans at a quite discounted price. The best deal they have is 21 meals for $84. With this option, you choose your 21 meals and schedule them over designated pick-up dates throughout the week. I would personally recommend the BBQ and Chicken sandwiches; they are both pretty good and spot on. These ladies are exceptionally friendly and are quite flexible, and put a lot of passion behind their business. The only reasons that I am docking them from 5 stars to 4 are that the food is a little too bland for my taste, and that I am still hungry after these meals. I would not be terribly surprised though if that is more of a result of my current eating habits and hardly the fault of the establishment. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive way to improve your diet, then you need not look further than Two Vegan Sistas.

I've tried just about everything on the menu, all delicious! My favorites are the quinoa, zucchini chips, and falafel. I totally recommend the meal plans. The only bad part is they are so far from where I live, I'm never just out that way to pick them up. But super great value when you don't have time to cook healthy for yourself.

This place is fantastic-- I've been looking for a place with healthy vegan food at an affordable price and this place is exactly that. I got a cashew burger with kale salad and the cookies to go-my friend got the green bean casserole with kale-so affordable and delicious. Prices are a little higher than the pictures of the menu but for the quality of the item it is worth it.

Now that I navigated the menu to find better value, the living pizza and cashew burger are awesome! I would love another location near the 38111.

I'm very new to eating vegan and am doing so for health and not moral reasons - point being I have a VERY fresh memory of what typical American food taste like as I still eat it. After a week of raw food from another company I found myself wanting to continue to get prepared for me healthy meal but didn't want to break the bank - an online search led me to Two Vegan Sistas and it seemed to good to be true. I went on a Sunday after church to check it out and got the sampler platter - 1/2 of which I took home. I was very pleased with the taste of the food - it's raw and vegan food southern style without bring fried, yes please! I also got the probiotic "tummy flattening" soda, a few hours and a trip to the restroom later and my tummy was indeed flatter - magic! Additionally, I got the cream filled cookies. These taste nothing like an Oreo and expecting so will lead to major disappointment. They do however taste similar to an oatmeal cream pie. I had no problem eating one a day until my order was gone. So I am now on the meal plan and am getting 12 meals for $50! Crazy affordable, I can't even justify the thought of grocery shopping. Delivery is available for $0.60 per mile. The owners are very nice as and easy going - I can pickup my food as often as I want during the week during business hours. They're also good about taking preferences into account. I'll update this review when I have health results to report but for now I am one satisfied customer!

I am so glad I ordered delivery from Two Vegan Sistas! I'm starting a gluten-free diet and knew that I'd be limited on delivery options in town, especially on a Sunday -- most places offer pizza, breaded wings, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a vegan place (usually the epicenter of wheat town) is catering to people who want gluten-free, sugar-free, minimally cooked, or Non-GMO food. I ordered the cashew burger, chicken salad, slice of cheesecake, and power smoothie with bee pollen. Entrees come with salads or sweet potato fries; I went with the fries. The co-owner delivered the order personally and was super nice & chatty with me. As for the food, the cashew burger was my favorite; I devoured it in a couple of minutes. The cheesecake was delectable, too; they came up with a nutritious version that is low on sugar, and made with almonds & walnuts for crust, and topped with fresh berries. Yum! The only con I experienced was it took them a little over an hour to deliver, but I understand, since they make everything fresh. All in all, my food was delish + satisfying + healthy. Plus I got to help a mom-and-pop operation. And all for a good price! I'll definitely order from them again.

This place has to be one of Metro Memphis' best kept secrets. My first visit and I'm on Cloud 9! First, and importantly, this three year old restaurant is spotless, with a welcoming, warm decor. The owners and staff are very nice. I wanted to try everything, but started with the cornbread and collard greens. Now, I'm no devotee to these two Southern staples, but I devoured both. The collards were bursting with flavor! For my entrée, it was the Cashew Burger with baked sweet potato fries. Heaven. Every morsel. My lunch partner had the spaghetti and was completely blown away. Then, I find out that they have delivery meal plans. OMG! My wife wastes more money at the supermarket than the cost of this awesomeness! Oh, you're not a Vegan? Give it a try anyway. You're going to be pleasantly surprised.

Our first visit here was on a Wednesday around 1pm. We were delighted to see they offered a way to sample multiple items. We ordered the a Small Sampler with the Live BBQ sandwich, stir-fried veggies over brown rice, green bean casserole, lasagne (cooked), & sweet potato fries. Our second sampler included a salad, living falafel, veggie delight, lasagne (cooked), cashew burger We also ordered the Crispy kale chips, which were great! The food is all vegan and offers a refreshing and healthy take on food prep. I would say our favorite items were the kale chips, BBQ sandwich, sweet potato fries, lasagne and the cashew burger, with concedes that we would both ordered the BBQ and kale next time. The place was clean and staff were friendly. Great addition to Memphis area for healthy vegan fare.

As a once vegan and now a pecitarian I am always looking for a great meatless meal and especially one free of soy and preservatives. I had the "bbq chicken" and citrus cake. Upon walking in I was greeted by one of the "sista's" who engaged me with a brief overview of their menu that offers a broad selection. The dining room was bare with no other guest which made me sad because I wish places like this that are locally owned with a good product faired better. I had my order to go. The "bbq" was smokey and filled with many flavors of bbq. It also has the texture of meat. It was simply delicious. It was served with a fresh and vibrant side salad. I was apprehensive to eat the cake I selected as visually it did not look appealing at all -- very deceiving as it was delish!! My husband fought me for the last bite! It was so moist and had hints of orange citrus - it was the perfect amount of sweet. I do hope to go back and order even bulk items to go such as their spaghetti or "bbq" by the pound. These ladies are so sweet and I feel put a lot of love and care into their food.
