I promised to come back and I'm here eating a cheeseburger sub. It is really good but not really anything special. It is what you would expect from a cheeseburger sub and the price is about ten bucks for a 12 inch, fries, and drink which is awesome. I think these are pre pressed patties and is definitely not the best burger in town. But better than most My friend has the chicken Philly and ordered it plain. It definitely is something special. Piled on with chicken and looks great. I hope to try it soon.

Haven't tried the subs yet, but the Chinese food is decent at a good price. The portions are large and the food is flavorful. Will try the subs next time

Dirty! Dirty! Dirty!! Beware this place is nasty and should be closed. The service is horrible and rude. I can't believe they still have business. I ordered a cheeseburger sub- oily and found a hair in it. Never going back- look how crappy and dirty on the outside - well - it's like that on the inside too.

"Tasty's"...well not so much. This place is a dump, but usually that doesn't bother me. I've had some good meals in places worse than this. But combine the decor with bad service, than we gotta problem. This place serves Chinese food and American subs. Just because you're Asian doesn't mean that you know how to cook Chinese food. My order got screwed up and given to someone else, so I had to wait 30+ minutes. The orange chicken was edible, but that's about it. Because this place is located next to the School of Dentistry, it does a busy lunch crowd, so avoid the rush. I guess if you don't have much of a choice in the medical district, this place will do in a pinch, but order a sub which is quicker to make than anything else.

Let's just be honest: Tasty Subs is a misnomer. There is nothing tasty about this place and you should probably have more than three types of subs on your menu if you're advertising yourself as a sub place. I guess it's fitting that the physical address of this place is 911 cause you'll probably want to call someone to report a robbery...of your taste buds. I drive past this place quite often as I make my way downtown. Each time I pass the big, bright sign advertising Tasty Subs, my stomach tries to pressure me to prove the claim proclaimed on the sign. Today, I had to drop my girlfriend off from the airport, so I decided to stop in and accept the challenge. Normally, when i walk into a restaurant I try to glimpse what's going on in the back. Nothing gets me more fatboy hype that watching a really talented and passionate person prepare something so carefully...except destroying said creation with reckless abandon, unbridled passion, and maybe some grunts of pleasure. At Tasty Subs, I didn't want to open my eyes. The whole place is cluttered and unorganized and a little dirty. I know there is no way they pick up all that stuff every night to clean the restaurant, which makes me a little concerned about what could be living under that pile of napkins that hasn't been moved. The soda case is covered in fingerprints and hand written signs revealing prices for random items that should have been added to menu long ago. Speaking of the menu, there were several laminated menus strewn carelessly about, but they looked as gross as most of the other surfaces in this place. The waitress behind the counter must have been connected to some tank of oxygen as her sole method of life support, because she wasted no breath pretending to be happy to see me. The cheese steak combo I ordered should have been ready in about half the time it took to be presented. I was especially aggravated by the exceptionally long wait considering that there was only one other order to be placed the whole time I was there. When the food did finally arrive, it was dry, bland, and entirely forgettable, much like my experience today.

Tasty Subs is a small fast food place in downtown Memphis. You order at the counter, and the servers will bring your food to the table. They also do take out and delivery. They offer typical Chinese food, sub sandwiches, and chicken wings. They also serve Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for dessert. We took our food to-go. Garrett had a typical Chinese meal of broccoli and shrimp with fried rice. It was very tasty. They deep fry the rice there. I had a combination meal of 5 whole fried chicken wings with fried rice. The chicken was awesome. I will definitely make a return visit for the chicken. It was also only $6 and some change. It's worth a visit!

i ordered honey gold wings and was sent hot wings. i tried to be reasonable and just accept it but after one bite i couldn't take it. i called back the restaurant and the RUDE lady kept telling me that my order wasn't wrong. i said "mam i always order honey gold wings no matter where i order them from." "NO NO I HAVE THE TICKET HERE" she was so off-putting that i have not ordered there since. overall the service sucks

Tasty Subs is a must-try. Their signature item, the steak and cheese sandwich, is among the most flavorful, tender, mouthwatering sandwiches I have ever had anywhere. Everything was very fresh & the service was great.

The lady who answers the phone seems to be a tad bit rude. The place doesn't look like much at all in the inside or outside. The inside of the restaurant looks dingy and in need of a remodel. The food is another story The food is delicious . The lemon pepper wings are just so freakin good. Tried the steak and cheese egg roll. It is also very good. Overall food is a GREAT. The prices are also GREAT!!!
