Holy giant buffet, Batman. This is an enormous, awesome smelling spread of Chinese food, complete with everything from sushi to main dishes to dessert. It's just under $5 for lunch and under $7 for dinner. And it smells incredible. Normally, I am not a buffet fan, let alone a Chinese buffet, but this rang my bell. Nothing better than gorging on as much sushi as you can eat for less than five bucks for lunch. You'll find the usual white and brown sauce veggies, meats, and rice. Good stuff.

I know buffets are one of the least desirable things on Yelp, but panda buffet is my favorite buffet. There aren't a whole lot to compare them to because in general I am not crazy about buffets. The hot and sour soup is to die for and practically gets me through the winter.

Contrary to some reviews, I love this place. It is a buffet so I don't expect gourmet Chinese. There are plenty of choices so I can eat with my meat eating friends and not be disappointed. The rice noodles are amazing. And the Chinese donuts. That's about all I get there! Oh and I can indulge in unhealthy southern corn nuggets - something I had not heard of till I moved down here. They do also have tons of fresh fruit for those that go to a buffet to be healthy.... (someone might?) They are always friendly and it is always clean.

Nasty Chinese food. The shrimp was falling apart when you peel them because they were over cooked... The crab legs were soak with water and tasted bland-no flavor whatsoever. The rest of the food were too greasy and had no taste or flavor. The desserts/pastries were dry and nasty. The only thing good were the watermelon. Shut your place down or hire new Chefs. We were robbed of $43.00 tonight. The place is plain nasty. To give them a star is even overrated. No stars period!!!

This buffet is typical in Memphis. Nothing great but a large selection of plain blah, breaded blah and sugary blah. I didn't get food poisoning so it earned 2 stars. Only stopped because termites had eaten a wall in my husband's office and we had to meet the contractor on Sunday to have it repaired within an hour after church. Eat at your own peril and stay away from the sushi.

The food was very greasy and tasted like it had been left out for a while. I broke out in hives after eating it, since I'm allergic to MSG, I'm guessing they use it on their food. It's good if you like cheap food and lots of it. If you're sensitive like me, skip this place.

I will NEVER eat here again! I just saw the hostess pull a chicken wing off a dirty plate in the bus box to see if anyone had taken a bite out of it! God only knows what she did with it when she discovered it hadn't been nibbled on. I wasn't finished eating but after witnessing that its understandable that my appetite was gone.

We ate here once and never again. I don't know why it's always packed, the food is terrible and serves pizza and roast beef ( which was bloody). Nothing i ate was appetizing.

I've been coming to this buffet with my family since it opened and I was still in middle school. Back then I would have given it 5 stars but now there is a lot more competition, some are better in different ways, but I still enjoy eating here from time to time. I like most all the food here the broccoli chicken, vegetable rice, sweet and sour chicken, but most of all the angel hair noodles. No other buffet makes there angel hair noodles like the panda buffet its delicious and the reason I keep coming here. The waitresses all know us, are very nice and attentive, already know our drink orders. The things I think would make this place better would be a better selection of sushi and a hibatchi grill.

This was bad. Been here a few times and never this bad. The only think I really liked were the mushrooms! The rice was bland, the chicken was bland, the noodles were dry. Not sure what has happened, but too many other options in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
