I was very confused by this bar. It seemed like it was an old army barracks back when Memphis seemed like a Wild West kind of town. We walked in, there are several bars to walk to. The one on the left was more divey for sit-down, chit-chat kind of night. The bar on the right felt more like a karaoke and dance floor type but for older people. It seemed saloon-ish. There was a bar/fountain/shit-show in the back that was open air. It was a live band playing for what looked like a group of 40-something women who seemed to be having a good time. Fountain was a nice touch. Upstairs (yes there is an upstairs) is very nice and low key. The ladies door was wide open and I almost walked in looking for a drink and not a women fixing her hair. Around the corner and down the hall is a piano bar and part restaurant. Piano was deserted, which I'm guessing was used earlier. But it was a nice place to sit down and talk with someone. Sat down with a Jameson and my brother and shot the shit. It really did seem like an old saloon that was remade into a more modern bar, which was cool to see. I almost expected Zorro to pop out of a wall, grab a shot of Tequila and then fight off some guards downstairs.
