Tin Roof 2 Menu

Definately a "Must Visit" spot on the tour of Cool Springs. Fantastic, fast-paced staff keep this place running like the proverbial well-oiled machine. It's not fancy. If you are looking for frosted mugs and fine-dining there are other places you should go, but after you get the hoity-toity out of your system come on over for a good time. The current Wednesday, Friday and Saturday bands bring out some good crowds and keep the party going later than most places in fair Williamson County.

There is apparently a vibrant night life at this place, but I've only ever been there for lunch. It's a great spot East of I-65 for lunch. Parking can be a little dodgy at the busy times (there isn't enough), but the food and the service here has always been above-average, even when it's really busy. I like the quesadilla. Good salads here, too. I heard they've stopped doing live music, though.

For those of you writing reviews on here complaining about loud music, drinks in Dixie cups, and bar food just missed the point. Tin roof is the place to go for bar food, music, and watching sports. If you want fine dining ambiance, go somewhere else. Two thumbs up to tin roof 2 and the staff. This is an excellent place to grab a drink, get some tasty wings, watch the game, and enjoy some music!

Great place to have a drink and some fantastic food outside!

3.5 Strangely enough, I came to this location before ever stepping foot in the Nashville mother ship. I like the fact that tptb decided to make this location distinct. One thing that chaps when it comes to multi-location businesses is the blanket uniformity. It feels lazy. I get brand quality but change it up so that if someone is at a new location, they feel it. Here, the vibe is decidedly fratty-hot mess, but you know that coming in to it. It fits. If you come here and are aghast to where you are, that's your mistake, not Tin Roof's. I've only been here LATE at night so I can't tell you much about Sunday Football, watching sports or the patio. These are all things I wouldn't be averse to discovering on subsequent trips (especially if I lived closer). What I can tell you about are bad decisions and very sweet drinks. Again, this college fraternity/sorority parties: the drunk girl. The that guy. The tears. The slurred speech. The plastic cups full of schnapps. The very strong, very sweet mixed drinks. It's all good. My poison (literally) for the evening was the Huckleberry. Sweet. Strong. No fears, shame or regrets in drinking it all (late) night long. The Huckleberry. And, at $8 a pop, not a bad way to spend some time bellied up to the bar. The space is deceptively large. I would like to check it out in the light of day. Perhaps that way, I could figure out what my notes re 'wheel' and 'outside' mean. Did I mention this place is open until 3?

Unpretentious fun! My favorite watering hole in Cool Springs. The Tin Roof is just a cool bar with good service, solid bar food, and an excellent "cut it loose" atmosphere. Great happy hour, a friendly crowd, and just somewhere you can really feel free to unwind. And when its not scorching hot outside, the patio is a terrific place to hang out with friends and take advantage of their service bar. Highly recommended to visitors, locals already know about this place.

So, upfront, this is a dive bar, so check your high expectations at the door. But any dive bar should have cheap drinks, a variety of drink specials, outdoor and indoor seating options, and a friendly staff. This place has all the above and more. You can tell why there is such a huge fan base of regulars who live in the area. Plus, Trivia Tuesdays here can get really lovely and competitive, with some pretty awesome prizes like free beer pitchers and gift cards. I am honestly not a fan of the food, but you don't pay for quality so much as something to buffer between the alcohol and your stomach lining. If you are a fan of bar wings, they have a weekly special during which you can get them dirt cheap.

Really like this place. The outdoor seating is nice and the tin roof sandwich is a favorite. Look for the Monday runners.

Whitney T. is the best! Servers are friendly and it's a cool casual atmosphere.

We love this place, we are here at least twice a week! The whole staff treats us like family!!!

Sadly this place no longer has live music. They now just have a jukebox type deal. Sad.

Used an Entertainment book coupon to try for the first time. First impression is a very unique atmosphere with interesting things to see in every direction. Servers were VERY friendly and after asking if it was our first time, explained the menu succinctly yet thoroughly. She changed my initial thinking and ordered the PizzaDilla. Basically a quesidilla made with pizza ingredients. After being told they were out of pepperoni, was apologetically offered different meat and got grilled chicken instead. Asked for some extra mushrooms in it to "ease the blow" (although preferred chicken anyway!). It was INCREDIBLE! It came with a side salad that I had to eat every single bite of as it was all fresh. The carrots and cucumbers were extremely crunchy-fresh. I will definitely be back coupon or not... the prices were extremely reasonable in and of themselves. Noticed the live music available most nights (was there on a Sunday afternoon) that would make the experience even better!

My wife and I stopped in for a lunch on a Saturday. Visually, it looks OKAY, but is typical of any dive bar/restaurant you would have hung out at during your college days. We walk in and notice there isn't a host or a seating sign. After waiting a few moments I walk over to whom I presume is a waitress (couldn't tell because all the workers were wearing their own street clothes). I ask her if I should sit wherever, and she says "yeah". So I spot a table outside on the patio, and we proceed to seat ourselves. Taking in our view, there is a couple a few tables over with their two dogs. We overhear them telling someone that the food sucks, but it's the only place where they can bring their dogs to hang out while they drink and are not hassled. Over to our right is an outdoor bar with four guys dropping obscene words, and making inappropriate remarks to the young bartender who just giggled over what the guys were saying, oblivious to the fact that they were being both disrespectful to her and the patrons around her. This isn't boding well. So we look at the menu. It's typical dive bar fare-- sandwiches, fried stuffs, etc. There are about six appetizers, which are basic (chips, etc). The waitress comes over and I order drinks and the jalepeno poppers. A few minutes later she comes back, "Sorry we are out of poppers, do you want to try the fried pickles?". Okay, i'll try the pickles I tell her. A few minutes later she comes back and says "Sorry, we are out of the pickles too, do you want to try the chips and guacamole". Forget it I tell her, we'll just place our order. I ordered a turkey avacado sandwich and my wife ordered the reuben sandwich. After waiting was seemed like an excessive amount of time for two sandwiches to be made, the food comes out. The lady hands the reuben sandwich over to my wife and says "Sorry, we are out of Thousand Island dressing. Do want Ranch dressing on that instead? Umm, I'm no chef, but the thing that distinguishes a reuben sandwich from any other sandwich is the thousand island dressing. As in a burrito without the beans is just a tortilla. Anyways, I get my turkey sandwich (which had so little avacado I though maybe the cook forgot to put it in) which comes with a side of balsamic vinegar. Balsamic vinegar on lettuce=good. Soggy sandwich drenched in balsamic vinegar=bad. Between not having basic supplies on hand and having to listen to obscene man-children laugh like redneck hooligans really made this restaurant terrible.

Wait a second! The well healed people of Cool Springs don't need such good happy hour deals!! I cry foul! Example, the night I wondered in was Wednesday so $5 quesadilla and $2 on all draft! And I noticed a sign on the wall proclaiming, among other deals, that Sunday was $10 all you can eat wings! Yet another reason to skip church for the elite heathens of Brentwood! I was also treated to a good cover band, with a 10 year old drummer that kicked ... Um... booty ( keepin it clean for da kids) Tin Roof 2 boasts an interesting layout with a balcony to view the band, wall to wall nick nacks and flat screens for sports. The food was good pub grub and even though the place was slammed we still received great service. Enjoy a great time and a good deal among the well healed!

As a cheap lunch place this isnt too bad. Nothing too special about the food, but it's a lunch spot that breaks up the monotony of subway, jersey mikes and the such. But you can tell the minute you walk in this is a place that people frequent in the evening and love because of the bar and social scene it exudes. Definitely a 20's to 30's crowd after 5pm... I was very impressed with our waitress's memory the first time I came here. We had 6 in our group and she didn't write a thing down and remembered every order despite everyone saying "hold this, add that, put this on the side..." and got the order perfect. I'll keep this as a lunch place. If you order a side salad be sure to ask a lot of questions. These are not side salads that you're used to getting!

not impressed with the food, drinks, atmosphere, or the band....this is indeed a place for the youngsters==== A typical meat market---

So far I've only been to this Tin Roof location during "concerts" rather than to enjoy it as a bar. Although, I find it tough to it them concerts when the stage is back in a corner and no one really seemed to be there for the sole purpose of hearing these performers sing. The bar itself I did really like. They have this (what in comparison to their other location) huge patio area with it's own bar. The booths and the setting are similar to the Demonbruen location but on a larger scale. The bartenders for the most part seemed pretty great, except when I tried to order food. I ordered with one bartender, and never saw him again, or my food for that matter. By the time I asked another employee their kitchen had closed and it was too late. I really liked their upstairs area that over looks the bar and stage. That was the best place to be while listening to the performers. Bathrooms were nice and clean and their parking was much better than their sister location.

One of my Favorite local hangs in Cool Springs. Great live music on the weekends and a great place to go for happy hour. Bartenders and staff are always friendly and their food is not typical bar food. I see someone below complained about the "bar food" but the chicken wasn't fried on the quesadillas and the salad was so fresh. So many new places in Cool Springs.. but this still is my favorite hang.

I've been here a few times with friends and have always enjoyed it. I really like their "pizzadillas" for lunch, and one of my friends rented out their upper balcony for her boyfriend's birthday and it turned out great. I'll definitely go back.

  • Rebecca M.

I am kind of ashamed at how often that I go to this place. It is my boyfriend's favorite place in Cool Springs so I often end up there by default. We like to go on Sunday's for the all you can eat wings and two for one bloody marys. However, we got a bloody mary on a random Tuesday and it was significantly better tasting, larger and just better in quality. Not so much of a deal anymore, especially since I cant really eat more than a basket of wings... Solid in beer and bar food though. TIP: Tuesdays are Trivia Night and it is actually pretty fun.

Very cool and unique bar/restaurant. Unfortunately the drinks are served in plastic cups, but the atmosphere makes up for this. The food here is always great as well.

Tried carry out for dinner tonight. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries. Sandwich was tasty but small and kind of dry. The fries were drenched in a seasoned salt mixture which rendered them almost inedible. The order was promptly made and the bartender was friendly enough. Food needs some work but I would give it one more shot.

We came here to watch a World Cup soccer game. In the middle of the game they changed the channel and didn't change it back for 20 minutes and said they were too busy. Food is fine but if you are going to watch a game like most do, don't.

Amazing crinkle fries. Heavily poured drinks. Nachos awesome, but they forgot the chicken... Great service.

Tin Roof 2's atmosphere is good and I've never had any problem with the food my concern is their business practices. A few months ago I ordered take out and someone added on a tip that I did not give. Then just last week I got the Italian which is listed on their menu for $7.95 which is suppose to come with balsamic vinaigrette. I was charged $9.95 and then .25 for the balsamic!!! I called and left a message for Tony but still no call back. I'll be making another call, but this was my last time. Watch your receipt closely as prices do not match up to menu!!!!!!!

My husband and I love going to Tin Roof 2 located in Franklin. The atmosphere and drink specials are always great. Tony and the staff there are always friendly and make it a point to always be aware and alert to attend to the next guest. Oven never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink. Aside from the great place, people and drinks Tin Roof 2 has great food! Hands down they have the best wings in Franklin. They are fresh, not frozen and never greasy. We make it a point to visit Tin Roof 2 at least once a week! We love it there :)

Tin Roof 2 was the final stop for the bachelorette party I went to this past Friday night. We got there around 1:00 and it was still pretty packed, but the bartenders were attentive and didn't take long to serve us. This place also had the sweet tea vodka I was looking for so that was a definite plus! The prices aren't bad either, I think I paid $5 for a mixed drink. The overall atmosphere of the place is pretty good too, but we didn't stay long since it was the end of the night and we were all pretty wiped from the rest of our night. I will definitely try this place again, especially when I have more time to look around the place.

Hipster bar in one of the most affluent areas of our nation. Food is good, but it can be loud in the space. Nice staff, but not my kind of place.

    (2)
  • Terah H.

Kyle and his crew at The Tin Roof 2 are always wonderful for our running group that meets here every Monday night at 6pm. After our runs they have the patio reserved for us with drink and meal specials. I love Monday nights at TR2!

    (5)
  • John P.

I could actually give TR2 five stars, because it passes the utlimate litmus test of frequency. I probably eat lunch here 2 or 3 days a week, and could eat there more. I eat two items. Steak quesedilla and hamburger. Hamburger is really unique. They're served on texas toast. I get mine with quac, pickles, cheddar, and bacon. But they're very tailorable. Served with crinkle cut fries that are fried to perfection. I can't imagine a bar staff being any more friendly.

    (4)
  • Matt K.

Been coming here for years!! Best queso ever!! However - cold and pasty...sucks and taste like glue. Staff says it is what it is !!?? Disappointed!! Kyle - really

I was less then in pressed. we thought it was a grill and bar. It was more bar then grill. Are beer came in plastic 8oz cups. Not glass. I'm an adult at a bar. Not a frat boy at a keg party. The music was club loud. The waitress never smiled. we ended up with a little confusion at shift change. We had a friendlier waitress show up. Then never came back. We got stuck with grumpy. The Frys are frozen crinkle Frys like the one you buy for kids. The menu is bar food. Nothing to wild or great.

  • Veronica M.

Fun bar! The bar is located in a "commercial" area. It's by far one of the best bars in town. Great food (cheesy French fries are amazing!!!) friendly and fun staff and a great crowd of people are always at this bar.

  • Rheonna W.

Great evening to sit outside on the now partially-covered patio, no real table service we had to go in and order our drinks, serve yourself style. Didn't eat anything. They no longer have live music at all in TR! We went there to dance, so we were a bit disappointed. It's was just OK.

    (3)
  • Daniel S.

Good drinks (plastic cups) and the food was mediocre. Probably a very fun place when they have live music. Reminded me of Señor Frogs in Cancun.

    (3)
  • Thomas M.

This place is a great, casual place to eat and have a drink while listening to some live music or watching a game. Been here a couple times. The live music was perfect for happy hour both times. Not over-whelming where you can't even hear yourself think. The crowd during happy hour was varied (20's - 40's). I've only had the queso dip and it was really good. Beer selection is okay and "yes" the drafts were served in plastic cups, but that isn't a deal breaker for me - actually kind of funny. The bar staff was good as well.

    (4)
  • Pierce S.

The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere as good as it gets in Franklin. Indoor bar and seating, plus a nice patio area outside if you want to get away from the noise of the band. Live music most nights and you'll see people of all ages there.

    (5)
  • Crabby O.

Really bad food. Don't come here to eat unless you are using the food to buffer your booze. Very non-kid friendly if you are stupid enough to take your kid to a bar you are better off at Johnathan's. No quality control whatsoever on the live music. I've heard a few "acts" there so bad they were actually annoying the hell out of people. Who ever is booking the "talent", please tighten up, this is Nashville, no excuse for not having solid music performances every night. Having aired those complaints, the place fills a much needed niche in Cool Springs - a pick up bar with where there are people actually worth picking up.

    (3)
  • Chris S.

The quesidillas are really good. We went on a Saturday night before a movie, and got right in. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back soon!

  • Claire B.

If you're looking for a drunken meat market with really bad music and your drinks in little plastic dixie-cups, then the Tin Roof is just your place. Remember On the Rocks? This is the Franklin version of it. We went here after drinking at Dan McGuinnes, and it was such a comedown after our good experience there. It was loud and just the kind of place that reminds me how old I am. Maybe that's the problem - it's not a bad place - I'm just too old.

rough.. slow service - problem #1 - 1 waitress at a bar with 30 people.. #2 - 1 server running drinks outside/upstairs at the bar.. #3 - 1 upstairs waitress for 30 people.. #4 - the waitress upstairs needed to call a manager because she was "overwhelmed" at the order for a party of 20.. #5 - food was advertised as "not bar food".. most definitely bar food.. grease soaked the paper sheets it was served on.. #6 - bar food is "wings quesadillas, burgers, and etc.." #7 - 30 min wait for this bar food.. #8 - once food was received, it was missing items (one guy missing his bread) another was delivered cold.. #9 - once told about the above discrepancies, "manager" offered to replace, but not discount.. #10 - when everybody got ready to leave, waitress couldn't find anybody's credit card #11 - "busboy" tried to take beer bottle off the upstairs ledge that was half full, thinking I was done.. #12 - they were out of two draft beers.. #13 - this was not on any given Sunday, but st. party's day.. #14 - beer in plastic cups..!! #15 - shots served in "Dixie cups".. #16 - took the check downstairs to cash out, as the waitress was forever coming back - and when finally noticed at a bar with 7 people, I was told " you were upstairs, you need to go back upstairs to check out".. #17 - out of 3 women's restrooms only 1 oj them locked will never go here again..
