Ran in for lunch late one weekend afternoon with my 11 year old daughter. Sure, service was a bit slow but worth the wait. One of the best burgers I have had - huge portions. Daughter had a sandwich & enjoyed it. Will definitely return. Fair prices.

We've lived in Franklin for a long time and have heard about this place but for some reason just never took the time to go eat there. It is a true local establishment. Incredibly clean, neat atmosphere. Well-kept. Lots of hometown memorabilia. "Pub" makes you think about a bar, but it's really not that, think of a locally owned Chili's type of restaurant. American food. The food was awesome. I had their cheeseburger and it was fantastic. Took my youngest son and he had the catfish. I tried it - it was great too. I've read several reviews in many of them mentioned poor service. That wasn't the case with us at all. Our service was great. Very friendly, upbeat. Food came out in a very reasonable time. Definitely will go back again.

So we showed up on Tuesday night and lo and behold it's Bingo Night! The 40-something in me rolled his eyes while the 8-year-old in me was marking off numbers like he was working out the formula for the perfect gummy bear. The 8-year-old won out on this night. The atmosphere was laid back and clean. There were regulars who obviously were known by name. Just a really cool feel, especially when it doesn't look like much from the outside. As for the food, I had the Southwest Smokehouse burger (don't quote me on the name). Dare I say it was as good or a better burger than a certain porcine-named drinking establishment down the street? The meat was well cooked and seasoned, with just enough condiments to add layers of flavor without leaving half of them on the plate after you're finished. The homemade chips were a little on the greasy side but still delicious. The service was prompt and friendly and the good arrived quickly. Overall a fun night after a hard workout and definitely recommended.

80 degrees, air conditioning system is broken, uses 2 wall units that don't have the capacity to cool the bar and restaurant area, so so service , food is decent, wings are small , sometimes excellent, sometimes not so good, seems to run out of items often. Prices are not the best , several other nearby local bars have better and cheaper happy hours, pours are generous when in stock, bartenders are nice .

Being new to Franklin. We have been trying a lot of places. I have seen this place a few times while driving by. The parking lot is usually full. So we decided to try it. So glad we did. Service was great and the food was excellent. I had the white beans and catfish. The beans were probably one of the best I've had. The atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable like a small neighborhood pub. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in for late (2pm) Sunday lunch. Sports Bar atmosphere with about a dozen TVs. Great service (granted, it wasn't crowded but it wasn't deserted either.) About two dozen beers on tap, plus wine and other drinks. Courteous waiter and bartender. Fried Shrimp Basket was just OK (this isn't a "seafood shop") - coating fell off, but it was fried correctly. Steamed Veggies were pretty limp - they appear to have sat for a while. Pit BBQ Sandwich was very good ... tender, moist, flavorful with plenty of smoke; served on toasted bun. Slaw on top - creamy and just the right amount for the sandwich. Turnip Greens were pretty simple (just one of about 13 sides.) Burgers looked really good--cooked to order. Will try one next time I stop by. Worth a visit. Kids' Menu has a nice selection of dishes and it's extra-reasonably priced by today's standards.

Food was ok - but took about 45 minutes to cash out. When server brought my ticket, he had charged me over 3x what I owed. Took another 15 minutes to get that cleared up and he didn't seem too concerned about it. Didn't seem like a big deal to them - "Sorry - we got a new system a couple of weeks ago". There was a definite breakdown in the system. Will not be back.

We went to The Corner Pub for our first time today. The first thing I'll say is that I wish we would have tried it sooner!! This place was really good. The atmosphere was really nice inside - a nicely laid out, clean sports bar. There were several TVs tuned to different events. It wasn't very crowded today which also made it nice (I've seen it much more crowded on other days). The service was great. And the food was delicious. My wife had a burger. I had the "hot chicken chunks" basket. And the kids had a burger and mac and cheese, both with fresh fruit...and included drinks and a popsicle. The menu also had meat & 3 offerings that I'll likely try next time, various other sandwiches, and other items that sounded good. The salsa we had to start (with multi-colored chips) was also tasty. All in all we were very impressed and look forward to trying this place again soon!

Food was very tasty, but service was slack. Thank goodness that the manager was there to get us refills. Seemed like since we weren't drinking beer or cocktails our waitress didn't want to help us. I guess she figured that thing out when she saw her tip. Again, food was very good.

Food is great! Service is a little slow. 3 stars because the charge $2 to swap their chips for fries or another side on SOME of the menu items. It's the same as purchasing an extra side item! I don't like being taken advantage of.

Overall: food was good, atmosphere was nice, but service was consistently horrible. One visit, I ordered fish basket, but was delivered fish dinner. The server sent the manager to our table, but the manager was rude and made lame excuses. On another visit, we overheard the same manager be rude to another customer when they asked for tea instead of a flat coke. A few times we went there, it took longer than average to get drinks. After 5 or so visits, we decided not to go back.

The burgers are excellent and the meat and two/three ain't too slouchy either. The drafts are good and there are plenty of TVs. The Corner Pub has a good family atmosphere and great service.

Their burgers are awesome and not crazy expensive... There are other businesses in town that claim to have the best burger.... They're wrong and probably cost more! Great beer selection and nice vibe. My only issues with this place is that parking can be tricky and my server was SLOW. But other than that, I love corner pub:)

Nice bar, went for dinner tonight. Good beer selection. Service was average as was the food. Meat and three was ok, but not worth the price. Sandwich was on grocery store buns, also average. Overall, good atmosphere with average food.

Husband and I tried this place after a recommendation from an acquaintance. After finding few reviews online we decided to give it a shot anyway. We are glad we did! From the outside the place isn't anything to look at. Very friendly service, good beer selection, good sized menu, but not overwhelming. Even though we sat inside, the patio is nice. Decor is tasteful and the restaurant was clean. We had the jalapeno burger and the southwest burger. Both came out quick and tasted good. The homemade chips were light and addicting. For two bucks, I had the side salad which had a lot of toppings (the only reason to have a salad, right?). Why not a fifth star? Husband said he wished the burgers would have been a littler hotter and I wished the cigarette smoke from the patio didn't waft in each time the for was open. They have a garage door that is usually open, so the smoking could be an issue when always open. (Tonight the door was closed because the pollen from a plant kept wafting into people's food.) All in all, we have found another local favorite that we probably would have overlooked had it not been for the recommendation. Check it out.

This place is ridiculously over priced. We went there for burgers on the 3rd of June, 2013 based on a positive review we had seen online. The burgers were pre-formed and not very tasty. I could go to Sam's Wholesale and buy these burgers by the box, if this is what I wanted. I was also not impressed with the staff. FYI: Two burgers with fries and soda - $27!!! Outrageous!
