Let's get right to it....I had a few reservations about stopping here after reading some of the reviews; what a mixed bag of opinions! I'm pretty sure it's about timing and taste. (Stating the obvious, here...sorry) Walked in at 2:30 on a Saturday looking for lunch after completing some charity work. Handful of customers in a relatively quiet restaurant. Two TVs showing Pro Golf and Little League Baseball. A reasonable selection for a family place. (A third screen was running just local ads and promos). Sat at the bar...the only downer of the day--I didn't look closely, until after I was settled in...Dirty with food bits and a well-used napkin right next to where I perched. Onto the good, and yes, it was good. A cold Blue Moon draft (no orange slice, but that's ok, I prefer it sans fruit. Purists would differ.) Half dozen boneless wings tossed in generic-tasting Hot Sauce, served on top of a bed of crunchy kettle-cooked potato chips accompanied by a generous side of ranch dressing for dipping. Tender, nicely spicy--but will never win a wing contest. Still, a good choice for a family place. A custom-made single slice of "ARTI & GARLIC" -- Garlic, big beautiful wedges of Artichoke, tender diced Onion, succulent slices of Mushroom, terrific cross-cut slices of Roma Tomato, bits of Mozzarella, & a little Pepper Jack served on top of a layer of Alfredo sauce. To my surprise (and delight) the crispy crust lasted through the very last bite--even with my slow, and methodical tasting. (The pizza actually sat in front of me for a few minutes while I finished the wings, thus, this testament to crispy: It was, indeed, indeed!) I'm suggesting this was the crispiest (not burned) thin and well-made dough I've had in a long time; perhaps best ever. Check out the photo I posted of this delight: toppings piled so high I had to cut it into bite size pieces -- (and no secret...I got a big pie hole!) And kudos to Maddie, (sp?) my server who was friendly, courteous, cheerful, and efficient. I am hesitant no more. I'll be back.

Most pizza places have concentrated on deep dish varieties of pies. Our family really does appreciate the thin crust that we think Nashville Pizza does very well. The salads are fresh and the dessert pie is a favorite of my wife and grandkids. There's usually a decent game on while you're scarfing down your order.

For a pizza crust fan, they have an outstanding thin crust (only crust available). Crisp and never soggy. Several already "designed" pizza selections and if you are with a friend you can split it. Medium is great size for 2 and they do have a small one available. Our friends recommend the sandwiches. Salads available. Domestic beer - long necks, draft and pitchers. Good family spot and several TVs so you won't miss the game. Wait was a bit long once we ordered but enjoy the beer and the company and the pizza will not disappoint.

The pizza is pretty good but the service was terrible, super slow in everything they do. I won't be back with all the better restaurants in the area with superior service.

Not impressed at all. The pizza was over cooked and lacked any real flavor. I like thin crust but this just seemed along the lines of a frozen generic pizza. Why are all the pizza places in franklin so devoid of any real Italian flavor?!

Great place for lunch. Hot pizza, sandwich or salad out quickly.

Friendly staff, good service, but three stars for the bland pizza. My family went here again recently. I live locally, and it's a convenient place to go. But always the pizza seems overcooked, and the flavor has never been what I would describe as great pizza that's distinctively Italian. Local guys own this place (not a chain or franchise) and wish I could give more stars. On the up side, they have happy hour with two for one beers.

i had a slice of the cajun pizza (sans onions--onions are the bane of my existence), and half an order of breadsticks. the pizza was okay-i'm not a fan of greasy, heavy pizza; but, the breadsticks, ohmygoodness gracious, were glorious. they're crispy on the outside, cut down the middle and a little bit of cheese added, and buttery garlic sauce to season. these are amazing. next time i go, i may just get the breadsticks, and then do double time at the gym afterward.

Okay, I've only been here one time back in 2011 but I've never been back. The pizza wasn't fresh and tasted freezer burned. I want to try it again and I certainly hope they've improved it...but for now, I'm staying away.

Mozz and meatball sandwich got a thumbs up from the wife. Sausage and mushroom pizza was only so-so. The crust was crisp, so if you like a cracker-like, crispy crust, you might enjoy this place. Sal's in Franklin gets a higher rating from me.

We love Nashville Pizza Company - Grassland. It has such a great local neighborhood feel, and the pizza is delicious. They have sandwiches, breadsticks, and salads, but we always get the pizza, ordering extra so we can take some home for the next day. There is large and creative selection of pizzas. We love the arti and garlic, the margarita, the plain cheese, florentine (not on the menu anymore but you can still order) and our new favorite the chicken alfredo! (a little spicy with pepper jack cheese and sooo good!). The place is clean and always busy, but we never have to wait for a table. We always see people we know so it's fun. The owner is very supportive of the local schools and generous, and we like to support locally owned neighborhood businesses. We have two Canadian exchange students visiting for the week, and we took them to NPC for their first night here, wanted them to have some great pizza but also experience a local restaurant that is warm and welcoming and not a chain, something unique to the area. We go at least once a month and it's one of our favorite places!

Terrible terrible experience. I thought for some reason that this place would be good and I was WRONG. It was the worst pizza that I have ever had. No flavor what so ever. The crust was terrible. The pizza was very greasy as well. There was not anything good about it. I also ordered a side salad and it was just lettuce right out of the bag. Nothing added, just lettuce. Terrible! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Since this place is very close to where we live, we've stopped in a couple of times. This isn't "blow your mind" food....but it's certainly not terrible. I mean, I have to say Mellow Mushroom is my favorite, but this pizza is a totally different thing. The crust is very thin and cracker-y as others have mentioned, but I'm ok with that sometimes. I agree that the salad was pretty weak....just a bunch of lettuce. I would have appreciated some tomato, cucumber, carrot - something else on there. The service is always great, and I appreciate that they have TV's and beer (ok well those are probably better appreciated by my sports-watching, beer-drinking husband! But I like 'em too!). I think my only complaint with the last pizza we had was that it seemed a tad overcooked. All in all this place is alright with me. I know we'll be back.

Used my last Sharing Spree here. I again, love this pizza!! Its so thin (but not too thin) and the perfect crispiness. We get the cajun which is super spicy, with a side of ranch - yummy!

Once upon a time, when the other options for pizza in franklin included such favorites as Sir Pizza and Pizza Mutt and nothing else, I suppose Nashville Pizza was pretty decent. But now that we have Mellow Mushroom and Brothers pizza, I'm not sure I see how Nashville Pizza stays in business. And I've always been confuse that Nashville Pizza is in Franklin. At the end of the day, the crust and sauce are bland, and the atmosphere is dull and lacking of interest.

Probably my least favorite pizza in Nashville. Pizza isn't HORRIBLE, but it's by no means good. It's edible.

I liked this place. Pizza by the slice for lunch only. Great sauce with just a little spicy kick to it. I had the veggie because I was dieting. I didn't expect to like meatless pizza but the sauce was great. The thin crust was crunchy and good. I have eaten there 3 times because a customer of mine likes it. I will come back.

I finally found crispy thin crust pizza! Been looking for crispy, thin crust pizza and my real estate agent told me about this place. She was right, this is my new pizza place. I've only been to the Grassland's location, but there's another off of 96 around I-65. The pizza reminded me of "pub style" pizza that I'd get at places back in Boston (Stoughton Town Spa Pizza). The crust had a nice herb dusting to even make it more flavorful. Not a fancy, gourmet pizza place. It's casual, but that is what I was looking for.

This is a great find in the Grassland area. The pizza is good, especially if you like thin crust, and the location is family friendly. We've been once and plan on making it a regular stop.

Probably some of the best pizza I've had in Nashville. I normally don't go out for pizza cause they all taste the same. Well not here!! I recommend it to everyone. Great greek salad too!! Can't wait to go back!

To start we waited an hour before asking our waitress why it was taking so long for a single medium pizza. Turned out she never put our order in. There was only about 5 groups so you would think one of the 2 waitresses would wonder why we had no food. They did give us our meal at no cost and the thin crust chicken pizza was excellent.

I didn't know pizza could be bad, but I feel compelled to write this review after eating the worst pizza I've ever had from NPC. My husband ordered a take out vegetable pizza with the usual toppings and a greek style salad. The worst part about the pizza was the crust. It was a bit like eating a cracker...really thin and crispy with air inside. I don't know how else to explain it. I realize some may like this texture for their pizza so I'll move on to the other major problem, the sauce. It was sparse to say the least and had no zest whatsoever. I like to taste the sauce on my pizza! Finally, the cheese was bland as well. Clearly it was just one shredded cheese but it tasted like a skim or low fat type mozzerella. It just had no flavor at all. Even the salad was just ok. I don't think it was as bad as the pizza, but I was really hoping to like something that we ordered and it just didn't work for me. Sorry NPC, but you've got a lot of work to do.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
