This "cafe" is a gem! It is restaurant-worthy Thai food served quickly, perfect for a fabulous lunch break. I can't get enough of the Pad Thai!
The food here was spot on! The couple that runs the place are very genuine and really care about making great food. I have tried the pad Thai, chicken pho, and the masaman curry. All three were delicious and fresh! Also the pot stickers and spring rolls come with a really unique sweet and sour peanut sauce that was refreshing.
I only had the coffee here, but it was pretty good. No complaints! I didn't get any food here so I can't comment on that. The guy working behind the counter was friendly and helpful! The fourth star is for the fact that my travel mug refill was only $1! I would totally come back for my morning refill.

I love Purdy's Pit Stop! Great coffee and even better baristas! The crew is just lovely and I always get some great Jo! Highly recommend this place! Autumn is my fav :) she is always super sweet and cheerful!
I have visited Purdy's Pit Stop 4 times and I love it. I've only tried the house coffee but it is delicious and I love that they give you a chocolate covered coffee/espresso bean on top of the cup. What an unexpected treat that was the first time my husband and I stopped. I have gone back 3 more times because of the fact that the coffee is really tasty and the service is friendly and efficient...oh and that chocolate covered bean! :o) This was my first time at one of these little drive through "shacks" since we moved to Oregon in February. I feel like such a Pacific Northwesterner now lol!
Good Morning, Milwaukie! This is one of those drive-through shacks, offering up all manner of espresso, tea, bottled drinks, smoothies, sodas and they have homemade snacks, too. They make breakfast sandwiches ($2.50), have some vegetarian and vegan hand pies, and the usual bagels and pastries. Oh, yeah and a whole menu of hotdogs? Prices are good, service is quick (they have two lines, one in each direction, and one person working each side), and they put one of those super tasty little chocolate-covered espresso beans on top of each drink. Solid coffee shack.

Painted Lady Coffee House

Reviews:
I pass through downtown Milwaukie daily on my morning commute and with all the crazy construction going on these days I was directed to head down Washington St instead of my normal route and this cute coffee shop caught my attention. Stopped in this morning to give it a try. The space is cute, intimate, and clean. 4-5 tables, and sofa seating. One lady was working, I assume the Painted Lady herself, and she was friendly, helpful and service was quick. Pastries are homemade and tasty - we had banana bread - moist and flavorful, lattes are perfect and prices are reasonable. I just found my new go to coffee shop! Check this spot out you'll be back again, it's a little piece of heaven in the heart of downtown Milwaukie. Support Local business!
I LOVE Painted Lady!! The service and coffee are always great, but the thing that inspired me to review it was the gingerbread. This is hands down the BEST gingerbread I have ever had in my life. An amazing blend of spices, and a subtle glaze that perfectly compliments the bread. The first time I bought it, I was on my way to work, and once there, I had an internal struggle with wanting to share this fantastic treat with my co-workers vs. having it all to myself. I'm embarrassed to say that selfishness won out. Next time, I'll buy more and share.
Good coffee, great, fresh, real home made and elegant food! Super nice staff. I want them next to my house! They'll need a bigger space soon!

Very good latte. Will come back when I am in Milwaukee. OR. Nice cozy place to hang out on rainy days.
I have been here a few times when it is very busy and when it's just one or two other people. Each time I had good customer service. I have had their regular coffee and a few lattes. My favorite is the Latte Dulche. It is creamy and not too sweet. The atmosphere is very relaxing but won't put you to sleep. It's the kind of coffee shop you would see on tv in the 90s.
Exactly the kind of cool, funky coffee place this town needs. High quality coffee. Fast, friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. Eclectic but tasteful decor. Highly recommended.

I have only had great experiences with them. Food is always delivered fast, hot and fresh! :D
This Domino's is by far the best I've ever ordered from. The Food is always hot and on time. They never skimp on toppings which is rare these days. I stopped ordered for Pizza Hut because the quality wasn't near par.
Our go to pizza delivery. Pizza is always good. Love the Specialty Chicken and very quick. Would recommend.

I am a fan! I don't do any art here but that is on my bucket list. I love the Staff, come here weekly or more, food is pretty good, not amazing but consistent and good, reasonably priced not sure why folks are saying it is expensive but whatever. I would trade the kids area in for a doggie daycare if it was my place, but hey, I am not a kid fan so oh well. Most of the kids that have been in the play area have been pretty well behaved so that says something for the parents. Check it out!!!

Bob’s Red Mill Whole Grain Store and Restaurant

Love Bob's Red Mill flours, and especially love the location- right across the street from Dave's Killer Bread! The Whole Grain Store is pretty fun with its cooking tools, flours, and bulk bins that have a great price for vanilla beans! This is definitely a place I come back to.
Wow what a place. Being from Columbus, OH I have seen the products in stores for years and have bought many for the markup that the east coast puts on these great products. It was so different being there. I was in heaven. I had breakfast with a friend who lives in the area. He shops there all the time with his cabinet full of BRM products. I had to buy a few things to take back. For breakfast I had the breakfast sandwich with grits and coffee. very tasty and filling. My friend had Oatmeal w/ biscuits and orange juice. We sort of shared eating from each others meals. It was so delicious. I would say if you are ever in the area there, please do not hesitate to stop by and enjoy the food and the products.
Huge selection of bulk grains and natural food stuff, and their breakfasts are great. Be sure to try the vegetarian biscuits and gravy, they are worth the 20 minute drive for us. My only gripe is their restaurant hours, what breakfast place isn't open on Sunday morning? Bonus: right across the street from Dave's Killer Bread! Open up later in the day and on Sunday, and Bob's becomes a 5 for me.

My Chit Chat Cafe

Milwaukie, 97267
Reviews:
I have been ordering there for the last couple months thinking every time I ordered they weren't going to mess up like the first time I went there and ordered food. Besides ordering a side of toast which includes a slice of bread cut in half for 2 dollars! I kept ordering from there only because they delivery too! but living max 2 minutes away from there and having them charge 3 dollars for delivery too...a little too much on that too. Today was the day my family and I had enough from there. The man (owner) of My Chit Chat Cafe was the one that had taken my order today. I had asked for a ham and cheese omelet, easy on the ham because if we order it regular, IT'S OVERSTUFFED WITH ham and we didn't want it to be so salty for heart reasons. What do I get, overstuffed ham and cheese. I had ordered a cup full of just ice and it didn't come in the order, the toast was NOT easy to eat, at the first bite I had to hassle with chewing it. IF YOU'RE GOING TO CHARGE 2 DOLLARS FOR A SLICE OF TOAST BREAD, PLEASE HAVE FRESH BREAD TO TOAST! AND BUTTER! I was a little unhappy with the whole order, so I decided to give them a call. Again the man(owner) answered the phone, I explained why I was unhappy. He responded: YOU ARE SO PICKY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR FOOD, DON'T COME HERE ANYMORE. I was surprised in the way he spoke to me! I thought were WAS THE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE??? and I told him that it was my pleasure, that my family and friends aren't going to go there ever again. DEF don't recommend this place to anyone. Hope this helps avoid going to a bad customer service place and overpriced place.
After I had a bad experience with this establishment, and thus wrote a bad review, the owners were extremely prompt and eager to make things right. My husband and I greatly appreciated the way they called us, and made sure we were taken care of. To make things even better, the food was AHHHHHMAZING, the portions were pretty big, and the prices are completely affordable! I'm a little ashamed to say hat my husband and I pretty much shoveled the food into our mouths, and barely talked to each other while we ate. After our first impression, I thought I'd have to stick to pizza delivery forever, since we live in a delivery dead zone. Now, I absolutely look forward to making future orders with My Chit Chat Cafe, not only for the incredible customer service, but for the beyond amazing food. My tummy is so happy right now! Definitely recommending my friends and family to try this place!
Great food. Good service and place is kept very clean. Lunch is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Portion size is good and quality of ingredients is too. Definitely worth trying if you've never been here.

I may have a semi bis view, because i'm a neighbor to this extraordinary business. I came in with my Roomate opening day and was greeted by Tony (aka: the hardest working man I know). His Family run business and is an example to us all. I frequent this establishment with my friends coworkers and often times by myself. **** Hands down the best Pho in town! ***** Looking forward to seeing this business flourish for years to come.
Clean restaurant. Quiet and peaceful too. The soups are fantastic and so are the noodle plates! My favorite, Udon. Great costumer service and great background music.
I have to update the review - bc. While the flagship dish Pho is a good value, there are other dubious menu items that require customer warning - which... I can't give 5 stars overall in good conscience. The Beef Teriyaki was no bueno - they used the same slices of beef that go on the pho, this doesn't grill well and wasn't marinated at all. Unappealing, and not tasteful. The Vermiceli bowl noodles were hot- the waiter couldn't comprehend that noodles should be chilled as this is a salad. Where is the miscommunication? I've been to other Vietnamese shops that by default serve it chilled. the fish sauce dressing is not cold enough to effect the noodles. Again, sloppy and too bad cause the egg rolls were piping hot and so good. Oh Milwaukie, isn't there any place here worthy of 5 stars?

This is my local shop and these guys will help you with whatever you need. In my experience, they are usually just a little bit cheaper than most the other B&Ms in the area. Good juice selection and lots of hardware to choose from.
This shop is so amazing I don't even know where to begin... I'll try to keep it simple I guess. Kevin is THE MAN & the prices here are literally unbeatable on any product. The product selection is outstanding too!
Some of the prices are a bit higher than other places, but most are pretty average. They have a nice selection and knowledgeable, friendly staff. This is also one of the first I've been to that didn't have a sketchy 'head shop vibe.' This is also one of the few that didn't try to hard sell. The combination of the hobby aspects of vaping and quitting smoking tends to create a lot of enthusiasm, and other vape shops I've been to take advantage of this to hard-sell like crazy without people really realizing it; I've encountered the hardest hard-selling that I've ever experienced at vape shops, yet only received rave reviews. The employees here have all been good about giving info and advice without pressure. I'd suggest taking some of the poor reviews here with a grain of salt; there will always be some customers that don't like a place for some reason (or no reason), and every shop will have a problem customer or two, but 99.9% of people will have a positive experience here. Also, no physical store is going to be able to offer the prices of online-only stores (despite claims I've seen in reviews for other vape shops here). The only thing I could recommend to the owner would just be to spruce up the decor a bit, carry more high-end liquids (like Halo and Five Pawns), and perhaps offer a loss-leader or two.
