One of the best places for food late night or Breakfast. I love their customer handling. They have varieties of potato, seafood, eggs, meat, hotdogs and Desserts. The place is well maintained, serviced and they have enough employees to serve all the time of the day and night. Don't forget to checkin here to get a free pie and other deals. I have no concerns for the food here. Almost tasted all varieties of meat.

Oh gosh. Where to start. Been here a handful of times and service gets worse and worse every time. In fact, we've never ever received good service coming here. Every time, my wife and I tell each other that it'll be our last time coming here and the only reason why we keep on coming back is because we keep on forgetting how bad service is OR the fact that our favorite Perkin's is a lot further from us given we moved. We would rate it 2 stars but we decided to give it a 3 only because of the food. Service is slow even when there's hardly anyone there and the food takes forever to come out. Not sure why. We were here just a few weeks ago. When we got there, this one lady saw us walk in but walked right in front of us and into the kitchen/back area. No hello, no HI and not even a, we'll be right with you. I believe she was the supervisor/manager since she had a different shirt on. We've seen her every time we've been there. She never did come out so we just stood there waiting. Then another lady popped out and seated us. Our waitress was this short older lady with gray or white hair, I forget. She took forever to come by and greet us. After asking us for our drinks and jotting it down on her pad, within two steps, she came right back and said, I'm sorry but did I already ask for your drinks? My wife was super annoyed and told her yes. We repeated our drinks to her again. She said she promised this never happens. Of course not too long after, she did the same thing again. Our food took forever to come out. Twice, our waitress "thought" she brought out our food but as she can see, we didn't have any food on our table. She was so forgetful and everything. It was horrible. She knew my wife was really annoyed so she tried joking around and being extra nice. My wife just wasn't having it. That waitress should not be working there. Go to the Perkin's on Hwy 100. The service is better there.

Yet another understaffed perkins on a Friday night... Ugh. So my mom and i are seated rather quickly, and our order taken relitivly quickly. We ordered our entres and fried pickles, so our waitress (an older woman with short gray hair) asked if we wanted our appetizer right away, or with the rest of the our food. Well my mom is diabetic and needs to eat right away sayings point, so we ask to have it right away... So its friday night, its stsrting to get busy, they seem to ne short staffed, so good thing we got there when we did right? Nope! After 20 mins, no fried pickles, no word from our waitress... After staring at the front counter for a while, an angel named Erica (hostess of the night) came over and then went straight to the kitchen to check for us. Meanwhile the waitress finally comes over and says she's bringing the apetizer out with the rest of the food.... And says she put the entire order in at once cause "she knew" that it wouldn't be done till "just now" cause of how busy it was.. Now, note... She took the order from us before the rush even began... So had she put the order for the pickles in right away, they would have been out in like 5 mins... To top it all off, NONE of our food hot. Just all luke warm. But, once Erica stepped in and took out table over.. Our moods improved dramatically! She was VERY attentive, she discounted our bill, and to me appeared to be the single hardest and most professional person in the FOH. I would not recommend this perkins if it appears to be at all busy.. Or at least scope it out to see if they seem staffed enough to be worth while.

I have been going to this Perkins for years, and I will continue to go for years to come. This location has recently been remodeled and it looks great. Service here is typically good, sometimes you will get a slow person, but it seems to be when its slow, not busy, that you receive slow service. Seems backwards to me, but that is my observation. Perkins has the best pancakes ever - ever. I find myself typically ordering breakfast here, even at dinner time, because they are so delicious. One star gone because the bread bowl salads went bye-bye long ago. I loved those damn bread bowls. I always chuckle at the mixture of patrons. You will get everything from families, to biker dudes trying to ward off a hangover, to teenagers just looking for a cheap place to hang out. I like to visit the bakery from time to time as well - buy 3 muffins, get 3 free - yes, please!

As you can tell from our reviews, we dine at all levels of restaurants and rate the establishment based on a simple test: "Could we make this food?" Our cooking skills are average. We can follow a recipe. So if we can make it, then it isn't worth our money to pay someone else to cook it for us. In the case of Perkins, the breakfast we enjoyed recently was as good as breakfast can get in Minnesota. The price was $4. Really? While we could create the dish, we could not do it for $4. It was on their all day (24 hours) menu. They called the dish "Egg in the hole". Two eggs fried in the cut out center of two slices of sourdough bread, hash browns and choice of bacon or sausage links. If you watched the movie Moonstruck with Cher, you know the dish. The plate was full of food. Add a friendly smile greeting you when you arrive, being seated in a comfortable booth immediately and great table service, how can you beat that? The simple answer is that you can't. Parking is in a large lot outside the front door. Restrooms are clean. The two of us had a great breakfast for under $10. If I would have remembered the 20% off coupon that is offered everywhere, it would have cost only $8 plus tip!

Perkins.. If you are not a foodie, you might find this place acceptable. Anyone who likes food never comes here.

It's a Perkins. You know it. It's open late and that's the best thing about it. It could be worse, like an Embers or some such place.

for some reason when i was younger perkins was a place we went late night in highschool to hang out. i guess cause it was open all night and i dont recall many of those meals. but i have to say, i think they now have the best pancakes ever. they definitely do not have the best service ever. when we went to this perkins (shout out to the golden valley one on 394, you are much better than this one), there were literally two servers for the whole place.it was pretty packed and they appeared to be in shock and ihave no idea how this particular friday morning could have been so different than the others. it was panic. it looked like throughout the course of the meal random people off the street appeared to help out, without tags or uniforms, which was fun. what was not fun was the waitress handing me a hot as shit plate, without telling me that it was hot as shit and seeing that i had nowhere to put it. WTF? i was a waitress and i can tell you i fucked up an order or two and spilled a fry or or two on someone's lap in my day, but handing someone a hot as shit plate, seeing that they have nowhere to put it=not cool. especially cause the waitress, judy, had a little "25 years of service" badge on her. i expect more for someone who started pre-nam- well not pre-nam but close enough and that is fun phrase. besides that, again, best pancakes ever. and both of my family members were happy with the crispiness of the bacon without having to send it back- which rarely happens. oh yeah, and best pancakes ever. and they were cool with me and my mom playing cribbage after the meal. for hours. a bit crap on the water refills but having a big ass jug o hot coffee for several hours made up for that. the pancakes alone boost this from a 3 to 4 star rating.
