Five Guys is great, but this location needs to work on their fries. Every other place I've gone to, they give you a ton of them. My fiancée and I could easily split a "regular" order. The Dinkytown location, especially, you get, like, an absurd amount. Here, though, they don't go as nuts. I have to order a "large" and even then, we split the fries up and say "is that it?" Maybe this one is doing the "right" amount, but compared to the other ones that I've been to, it feels like they're being stingy. At the same time, though, their fries aren't even that good. They've always been mushy and undercooked here. Now I like my fries extra crispy, and that's just not how Five Guys does things, but they're usually still tasty. Here, though, they usually taste like raw potato, and the bottom third of the cup is a mush of squished together fries. Again, this isn't a problem at other locations. I love that they opened a block away from my apartment, and everything else is great. I especially like the fancy soda fountain. Just get an expert fryer from Dinkytown or Edina to show them how to cook and portion the fries, and they'll be perfect.

Great burgers as usual, but this location barely filled the fry cup up. Usually we get regular fry not large due to too many fries, but not this location.

My sister and I stopped by this 5 Guys for the first time last Friday. The food was excellent and hit the mark set by the other locations in the cities. The shift Manager provided outstanding and friendly service. He even came out to the patio to make sure we were having a good time and didn't need anything else.

I really like Five Guys...in Edina. Don't get me wrong, I finished the burger. My burger was tasty. My issue was the burger was done, put together with all my requested extras/toppings way ahead of the extremely over salted french fries. The burger artist makes a few burgers all at once and puts them all together then places them on the counter inside the bag as he waits forever for the french fries to be done frying. He gets all orders ready to go one at a time AND then he calls the numbers whether you came together or not for pick up. When you finally take that first anticipated bite into your burger, you are dissatisfied. The bite was room temperature and not hot or warm like you want a burger to taste. My french fries I got were the size "Little Fries," there was way more than enough for one person. Not so little now, are they? And like I said before, hold the salt. Bottom line: Head over to their Edina location.

It was a beautiful, warm summer evening when I strolled in for my first Five Guys experience. It was a Monday, so only one table was taken. "Foxy Lady" was playing and the table's two occupants glanced up as I entered. They were both old enough to be my grandmother. The menu is simple and straightforward. I placed my order and grabbed some peanuts as "Crazy Train" began to play. I chose my beverage and sat down at an open table. There weren't a lot to choose from because it's not a big place. I could see the little old ladies, but wasn't close enough to hear their conversation. I ate my peanuts to "Comfortably Numb" as I waited for my food and watched the ladies gesticulate at one another. By the time my food was ready, nearly every table was full and "Burning Down The House" was on. The burger and fries were both good. With Everything, the burger gets a bit messy, but that's a minor issue. The salad that fell out of my burger made a good second course. And a little Cheap Trick came on as the ladies wrapped up the other half of their split burger and put it in their purses. The the one said to the other, "I have a coupon, are you ready to go to the movies?" As they left, "Born to be Wild" came on and I finished my meal. More entertainment than I expected and sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

The guys working at 12 this afternoon were awesome. They were really taking pride in their burger and fry making which was pretty cool! You see so many workers at fast food places looking miserable but these dudes were singing, laughing, just having a good time. I loved it. The food was great by the way (just a plain cheeseburger and fries). I'll definitely go back and will hope for the same staff.

All five guys are top notch but the device at this particular location has blown away the others I have been to in Minnesota. I eat here at least once a week and have never had a single issue.

I'd been waiting for a chance to visit Five guys burger n fries for couple of weeks now. I finally had the opportunity last weekend. The place was clean and vibrant. We ordered 4 burgers and cajun n regular fries. The burgers were great and fries were awesome. I liked the burger so much that i ordered one more.

We came in right before the lunchtime rush and were greeted by the cashier. He was very friendly and joked around with us a bit. I went with the Bacon Cheeseburger and opted for the Cajun Fries. We grabbed a seat and didn't have to wait too long for our order to be called. The ambiance is somewhat old school diner feel. They aren't fancy and I'm OK with that; however, many tables were left uncleared (customers seem to be responsible for throwing their garbage out but spaces weren't wiped down). The floor was filthy. I attribute that in part to the numerous peanut shells scattered all over the place. You can grab a paper boat of peanuts and go town. It's fun in theory but seems out of place outside of the dive bar scene. In my opinion, you can skip the fries. They are mushy and flavorless. Even the Cajun Fries were far from impressive. I personally like fries with a bit of crispness to them. But I will say that the burger was superb. Again, it wasn't fancy, but it was a really good, basic burger. If you're looking for the kind of burger that you'd like to make for yourself on a grill, this is it! I really loved it and would eat it again. The only thing I'd do differently is order the smaller burger because two patties is simply too much for me these days.

When I want a really great burger, I know that I can come here and get one! I have what I get perfected down to the exact toppings now! I get a double cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, mustard and fried mushrooms! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water for another one! This location opened literally the week that I moved to Hopkins, and I have never had an issue here-the staff seems friendly and our food has always been right. We love bringing people here that have never had Five Guys before, just to see if they'll love it as much as we do too!

I placed a large order for pickup, when it was time to hand out the food every single person had the wrong item! We had asked for each order to be numbered and every single one was wrong. After countless phone calls to them they finally got back to us and offered 5 free burgers to make up for the 25 wrong ones. They did figure out it was a problem with their computer system and took full responsibility but felt no need to refund us any money!!!!! I have been doing this for 3 years and have never had such horrible customer service. Although no one got the food they ordered because we didn't figure out the orders were wrong until everyone had started eating the burgers were good but he fries were soggy and horrible! We will never ever go there again
