This is where I go when Adele's in Excelsior is closed, but I don't feel like hauling myself over to Sebastian Joe's to get an ice cream fix. It's a pretty standard Cold Stone Creamery, though the one here seems to have fewer flavor options for some reason. The ones that matter, Cheesecake and Cake Batter, are present and accounted for though. The staff has always been quick and friendly when I've been here. Though I do think they could add a couple more flavors.

The customer service here is horrible. You are not greeted with a smile or anything remotely close to friendliness. If we didn't really want to travel farther for ice cream, there would be no reason to come here. It is amazing that people want $15 hour for fast food service. They are barely worth paying minimum wage here with the lack of service they provide. There is an "award" on the wall from 2005. Nothing since then. Not surprised at all.

The ice cream was great, service was BAD. bad enough to go elsewhere next time. The two employees working had equally bad attitudes, and were outright rude.
After going bowling at Tuttles, I had a sweet tooth so I decided to go to Cold Stone. Since the closest Cold Stone to me in Crystal closed, this is the closest to me. I got the Hot for Cookie which was absolutely delicious! The only thing they could change for the dessert is add real whip cream instead of the fake stuff but all in all it was great.

So I am a horrible person. I used Cold Stone as a bribe to convince my bride to attend the gym with me. So after our workout we drove straight to the shop. We arrived just before closing time and there was a small line waiting to be served. I don't know what you call a person who makes your ice cream treat, but when I ordered I asked for a waffle bowl, and the guy who took my order must have asked me half a dozen times which type of waffle bowl that I wanted. Yet, when he handed me my ice cream treat he gave me no waffle bowl. I am not the type to get all bent out of shape about something so small so I saved my 69 cents and moved on. The same ice cream guy took my bride's order, and apparently he needed more cookie dough for her order, which we found out after he disappeared for what felt like 10 minutes in the search for more. He found none and offered to include a baked chocolate cookie in her ice cream. Which she accepted. But during his search he completely left his cohort to deal with the line that built up behind us. I wouldn't have been so happy about that if I was her, and it was less than desirable to wait for him to return to finish making my bride's after gym treat.

I went here with a friend before seeing a movie at the theater down the street. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ice cream was tasty. Mission accomplished.

I am a member of the club and walked in with my fiancé to get a treat before a movie and I'd forgot my printed bogo birthday coupon.. I asked if I could use it by showing my email from my phone with The birthday coupon on it and this really rude employee who was helping someone else heard me and shouted out that I could not use it because his mom tried to do that and she wasn't able to. They finally allowed me to but I was put off by this young mans behavior. Then the snide looks from him afterward were uncalled for. I guess he was mad they allowed it. The second issue is that this location does not have the various flavors of ice cream this company advertises. I get emails from them with new flavors but when you go into this particular store they only have a few basic flavors with shrugged shoulders and no explanation as to why. Wierd. Surprised they are still in business actually.
