Having gotten sick at TenTen for the last time, we tried this place. Obviously a mom and pop run restaurant, we seem to have come when the kids came out of school and were having dinner. Me and my wife ordered eggrolls, general tso, and szechuan duck. The mix for the eggrolls is obviously homemade rather than the premade kind chinese places tend to have; the eggrolls are also among the crispiest I've ever had and the least greasy too...the eggrolls were so good, we ordered another order of the eggrolls and proceeded to eat too much food. I can't think of a place with better eggrolls. The general tso's chicken (delicious) was crispy and had crispy veggies too. The sauce was well-crafted and was not too sweet like most nearby places tend to be. My wife's szechuan duck was delicious, the sauce was also well-crafted; my wife enjoyed her dish. Unlike most restaurants, I tend not to touch the rice accompanying the dish but here, the rice has a nice level of stickiness but not to the level of gumminess and a lovely sheen to it too. It was the best white rice I've ever had. I finished mine and my wife's who was stuffed by this point. At no point in my meal did I feel any of the dishes to have a greasy feeling and honestly speaking, it was the best chinese food I've had in a few years and I'll definitely be back.

This is an excellent go-to lunch spot with my husband. He likes to switch things up and try new things whereas I love my trusty favorites. We always get the egg rolls and crab rangoons and aren't disappointed. I like the Szechuan chicken and General Tso's chicken. Their spice levels are great for me - I love a bit of sinus clearing during my meal. The lunch prices are great! It tends to be almost creepy-empty, which also makes it great for conversation. Try it!

Just moved to the area, so looking around for Chinese restaurants seems to be a futile exercise. The place here serves alright Chinese food, if a little Americanised. But it's cheap and tastes average, if not as authentic as the name implies. Been trying stuff like 芙蓉蛋 and their 湖南鸡, it's not quite what you'd call Chinese, but good enough at least for the area.

Decent service and speed of food. Three stars because when I asked for vegetable spring rolls that show on their online menu, I got rolls that contained cabbage and pepper. Literally. Do not order that. I expected some more flavor, maybe some other vegetables as well...I also ordered a veggie lo mein and a broccoli in garlic sauce. Broccoli was amazing lo mein not so much. Plus they had no siracha...... or even any form of hot sauce. When I asked they told me they only had spicy mustard...... for noodles? Whattt. I would come back just to pick up broccoli to go and make the noodles as home.

We have still been ordering food here and they continue their amazing service! We have 4 Chinese restaurants within driving distance of our home and one delivery place that's closer but the folks at Szechuan Inn are always fantastic to deal with. A+++ service and great food!

This place has been here for a long time. I always went to one of their competitors. Boy have i been missing out. I have been here a few times. I love this place. Not the best looking place but the food is really good. I always get moo-shoo chicken. The hot and sour soup is also really good as well.

This is a pretty decent Chinese restaurant for the area owned by a very nice Chinese family: reasonable prices, generous portions, wide selection, lunch specials, fast service for take-out...I would come here again. This place is much better than Great Wall Express down the street that tried to pawn off a bag of dried crispy noodles in bean sprouts as chow mein.

It's really hard to find a good Chinese Restaurant in Kalamazoo area. Szechuan Inn is pretty good. I love their Hot & Sour soup, Szechuan Beef, Singapore Mai fun, General Tzao's Chicken, and Mussels with Brown Sauce (this item is not on the menu, you have to ask for it.) Everything is excellent, which includes the friendly service. Love their delivery services, too.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
