Ledo's is my favorite pizza & pizza spot locally (obviously this is not NYC but we know that). The thin flaky crust & sweet tomato sauce is tasty with just the right amount of grease. Being able to grab a pitcher of beer too completes an easy, tasty, affordable comfort food meal; the final topper would be the friendly service and being a business that supports the community. When ordering "to go" the pizza is always on time. On another note, their avocado BLT and various salads are a perfect addition for those wishing to be healthy while eating at a pizza joint. It's hard for me to stray from their classic square pizza and toasted ravioli, but I like the buy one get one free stromboli or other dine in specials are a great deal and I like their tasty, chicken primavera. My husband loves their Chesapeake & bay wings. They also reward loyal customers with points, which is easy and hassle free and you receive free food!
My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant since their opening. Their pizza sauce is a little sweeter than others. The menu is fresh and healthy. Recently, as their menu has expanded, the kitchen has fallen short on occasion; pizza crust too doughy, plates served with cheeses melted to sides of dishes. I hope this trend doesn't continue.
Got a small pizza for the 55 Anniversary and I think it was the best one I've ever had.

The food was good and ready in 10 minutes. I got the general tso. The chicken was tender, wasn't all breading, and had good flavor. The hot & sour soup was good too, it had some spice to it. I would order from here again.

We stopped by for breakfast, today. It was prepared quickly. It was tasty and there was plenty to eat. The service was excellent, as well. I'll go back next time we are in Lusby.
Stopped here the other day for breakfast with the kids....last visit was probably ten years ago. Food was decent but not nearly as good as it was years ago- I'm certain the staff has changed. My daughter got the country breakfast; the home fries were really good but the pancakes were a little underdone and heavy. Watched some other patrons' pancakes come out of the kitchen and theirs looked much better. Portions were average. Saw an order of creamed chipped beef on biscuits come out of the kitchen and regretted not having ordered one for myself. Service was friendly and quick; we sat at the counter. It was warm out and the air-conditioning was struggling to keep the back of the restaurant cool. I'm sure the heat from the kitchen didn't help either. The front of the restaurant was MUCH cooler; will sit there next time. Fairly cheap for breakfast- lunch and dinner are more expensive but still reasonable.
Friendly folks, traditional breakfast food. Definitely a hole in the wall. Extremely greasy. Cleanliness is an issue. If I had visited the bathroom BEFORE eating, my appetite would've been stifled. Seems kinda pricey considering location & atmosphere. Nice folks though!

The rice bowls at this place are the best - the meat is super tender, and the veggies are crisp. Unless you're strapped for cash, fork over a little extra for the higher price steak, and you won't regret it. It's really lean and melts in your mouth. I haven't tried the chicken enough to form a really solid opinion, but I know my dad's a fan, and he's pretty critical about his fried chicken. Honestly, this is really just a great little lunch place. Simple, nothing extravagant, just some tasty food. The interior gives it a very "fast food" feel, so it's perfect for a quick break from work, but I wouldn't exactly bring your out of town guests here for a sampling of Maryland dining.
Blah! Not sure how to categorize this place. They have American, Chinese and Japanese options. I am not a fan of places that do not 'specialize' in a certain cuisine but instead attempt to do too much. I ordered: collard greens that I watched the cashier heat up in the microwave (didn't eat them), a shrimp bowl that was bland and the 'fried rice' that came with it was nothing more than white rice with soy sauce heated up on the grill. Tom Yum soup with shrimp, ate about 5-6 spoonfuls and there was no shrimp to be found. Would not recommend this place as it is not for me. I will say the prices are reasonable if you are on a budget.
About the only goto item here is the teriyaki bowls. All of the fried food tastes the same...all you really taste is the fryer oil. The sushi is not made on-site and sometimes tastes like its been in the container for too long. Don't go if its a busy night and you are in a hurry- the kitchen mechanics are a bit unorganized. After waiting for a simple take-out order for about 15 minutes (while watching orders placed after mine come out) and asking twice about the status of my order they finally figured out that they hadn't even started it.

The bison burger was phenomenal. The bartender was friendly and attentive, remembering my name even though I haven't been in for over a month. 13 beers on tap, at least seven of them local to Calvert county our Maryland. I particularly enjoyed the strongbow on tap, with black currant added at bartenders suggestion. This place has their priorities in order and are ready for whatever you throw at them.
Stopped in for another try on a Friday evening. Menu has been revamped and is now mostly appetizers and burgers, pub food, etc. It was pretty good and we had good service. Not many people were present but it was 8pm. Our friends raved about the bacio cheese appetizer, and the rockfish and chips were really good. Glad to see the place is improving!
Great place to stop in and grab a beer or a bite to eat. New menu - new nachos with Mexican chorizo were delicious! Good selection of local beer on tap. Definitely recommend this new restaurant! Karaoke every other Monday is fun too :-)

Staff is very customer oriented and knows the regular customers and on occasion has the drink all ready
Came here around 10:30 on a Sunday morning. The line was wrapped around the store, and they had two baristas taking orders and only one fixing coffee. Should have been the other way around. Coffee was hot once I got it. They were out of the breakfast sandwich I was wanting... Oh well.
This store still leaves much to be desired. I visited on a weekend, midday. They didn't have a line to order, but they had 3 people waiting for drinks. I was greeted quickly and gave my order. When I ordered iced coffee, she asked what kind of coffee I wanted. That's not a normal question for Starbucks... The iced coffee is already brewed, you don't get a choice like you do with hot coffee. When I looked confused and chose a brew, her coworker corrected her and she said she'd been making it that way all day. Yikes. That's just not correct and you'd hope their training covered that. Drinks took almost 20 minutes. Service was friendly. One of the drinks was lacking the requested sweetener but the others seemed fine. If this wasn't so convenient, I would never go because they're ridiculously slow and often inaccurate, but I have a coffee problem so I'll probably keep begrudgingly giving them business.

Rasheem the GM asked his female employee who was attacked outside of Moe's to PROVE she was attacked. That guy does not care about the safety of his female employees. Boycott.
Great food and 90s menu with names of food like " the close talker" and "Art art vandelay"
My husband and I are regulars here, and have been big Moe's eaters since college in Jacksonville, FL. The first time I came to this place, it annoyed me... but I have since gotten over the little things since they always know what we want when we walk in. Gripes: No water at the soda fountain, you have to buy it... so I bring my own. Also, no traditional "Welcome to Moe's" greeting when you walk in. Lastly, business is always slow when I go, I think it's in a bad location and would probably do better closer to the Naval Air Station. Because of that, I fear they will close down and I will be devastated.

So much effort has been made at Veras, down to the last detail, only to be voided by that horrible smell. I can't review the food because I can't go into the restaurant because it smells horrible.
Nauseatingly tacky and really bad food. But a great view and lots of fun events.
We have been here three times. The first time was a regular dinner, second time was the special Thursday blue crabs, and today is the all you can eat seafood buffet!!! I love this place, but at the first time, the seafood was kind of dry, especially the crawfish. The service was good too. The waitress came to your table often to ask if you need anything else. All in all, I give 4 stars out of 5 to Vera's.

Visited on a Sunday morning. One employee was busy the whole time helping folks with Keno which was a little annoying because there were 3 people in line for food also. Still, I was helped fairly quickly. The employee was friendly and fast. I got a couple donuts and 2 breakfast sandwiches. The donuts were both very good, nice fluffy glazed and a delicate, tasty cake donut. Sandwiches were also awesome. One was on a flaky croissant, the other on an everything bagel. The bagel was great, lots of toppings and seemed very fresh. Very good overall and the value is great. I'll definitely return for a quick, easy breakfast.
