This place is a great place to get a waffle pick me up. Their waffles have a hard crust which adds a crunch to every bite. The shop is located in the food court. Yes, I said it, the wicked waffles in located in the heart of the mall's food court! I do have to say there is a wide range of restaurants and food options in the mall now that the renovations are complete. So the wicked waffles definitely has a lot of competition. But wicked waffles stands out from the rest because it is a great place to get a sweet sugar rush. In other words, it is the perfect place to get a quick energy boost from a sugar rush of waffle goodness. It is carb and sugar galore. Their "all the works" waffles have powered sugar, fresh strawberries, chocolate drizzle and a good amount of wiped cream. This waffle is not overly sweet yet, it is sweet enough for my taste buds.

Do you like waffles? (Yeah, we like waffles!) I love the concept of Wicked Waffle and whenever I go to the food court at Montgomery Mall, the savory Peking duck waffle sandwich is my go-to. The duck is tender and delicious, and the waffle is perfectly cooked but still crisp around the edges for some needed texture. My order was a little heavy-handed on the hoisin sauce, so it was a bit on the salty side. They prepare the food pretty quickly - it takes as much time as expected to make a waffle to order plus assembly time. Service was excellent, everyone was friendly and cheerful. If you haven't tried Wicked Waffle yet, you should!

Waffleissimo! I had no idea this chain of two was owned by the same owners of Mosaic Cafe in Rockville. I love that place! Now I can get the same waffles without waiting for a table, and a whole lot cheaper! I had the sweet waffle drizzled with chocolate and caramel and dusted with powdered sugar. It was huge! It was delicious! It was just $4.25! I must come back for breakfast. It's only $4.95 for an egg bacon/sausage/turkey and cheese waffle. Or maybe I'll partake in the Waffle French Toast. That's $4.95 too. They have Harney & Sons tea bags, not your average Lipton. Tea is only $1.95. It's been a while since I've been to Montgomery Mall, and I was pleasantly surprised at the remodeled food court, or Dining Terrace as they refer to it. They make a gluten-free version, and according to their advertising flyer, their waffles contain "no more calories than your average hamburger bun."

I was very surprised at how delicious their waffles were. I had the strawberry cheesecake waffle, a lot of topping, but I chose how much I wanted to eat and it was delicious! Yum yum yum! Def order a side, if you eat a lot, the waffle itself is not enough! I'll be back for sure!

Friendly staff and fast service. The menu is nothing short of unique. Its items have never disappointed me in terms of taste and presentation. If you're looking for something to wow your table, this is it.

Wouldn't come here again or recommend to anyone! I came here thinking the chicken and waffles would be good. Heck even bacon egg and cheese waffle. I rather just had it on bread. Then I tried the chicken and waffles.... Panko crusted flavorless chicken and soggy waffle is what I was eating. If you go here with a desire for chicken and waffles you can find success if you follow my steps. 1. Order your waffle for 3 bucks 2. Walk around the corner to Chick Fil a order a chicken sandwich for another 3 bucks. 3.Remove the chicken from the bun and place it on your waffle. 4. Add some hot sauce and syrup to your waffle and chicken. Now you have a pretty good chicken and waffle for 6 bucks instead of the 9 bucks wicked will charge you. Lastly I ordered sweet potato fries which were cold on the inside and also lacked flavor. Maybe I should have tried something else but this is what was recommended to my even by employees.

You'd be shocked at how good waffles function as a stand-in for bread in a breakfast sandwich. The bacon, egg and cheese waffle sandwich is a marvelous creation. The only shortcoming is the waffles are so light that you're still hungry after eating one! The staff at this location are so nice and considerate it's astounding. I watched the cashier spend almost a minute arranging cutlery and napkins on a tray so that everything looked as organized and dapper as possible while our order was being prepared in the kitchen.

In the food court of Westfield Montgomery Mall. Pretty good mall food court option. Waffles are very light and fluffy. It almost crumbled completely in my chicken and waffle savory waffle. The chicken itself was perfectly fried boneless chicken breast with me sort of Southeast Asian flavor. Chicken was drizzled with a sweet syrup and accompanied with a slaw (both also with an Asian flair). Definitely a fork and knife dish. I wouldn't pass this place up when I pass by this again. Will also have to try one of their sweet waffles.

Great idea. Bad execution. I had heard about this place opening and while in the mall and hungry today was happy to see that they finally did. I studied the menu and ordered the Peking Duck sandwich with a side of waffle fries. What I got were tiny little pieces of duck with slaw that tasted extremely generic. The sauce that was on it was simply not good. The duck itself was very fatty and not flavorful, there were definitely a couple bad pieces on the sandwich. The waffle itself was pretty flavorless and didn't hold the ingredients together very well. The waffle fries were totally boring. Chick-Fil-A's are better. The place isn't exactly cheap either; my meal set me back $14+. They did have a couple of other sandwiches that looked pretty good, like the one with smoked salmon. I'm not rushing back anytime soon, though. My meal was pretty crappy and the high price tag was adding insult to injury.

This place is mall food?? Really??! Omg it was sooooo yummy! I had the tomato mozzarella waffle with balsamic and arugula. The waffle was airy and fluffy, the arugula was crunchy, the balsamic was perfectly tangy - It was the perfect sandwich! I literally gobbled it up in 5 minutes flat! I will agree it's a little on the pricey side given the portion size, but omg so Delish! Totally recommend to anyone looking for a fresh healthy bite to eat!

Yummy!!! Before going to Mosaic (their sister restaurant), I hadn't had savory waffles before. Now I can't imagine my life without savory waffle sandwiches. They are light and delectable and all sandwiches are made fresh to order. I also really enjoy their mushroom soup and tomato soup. Wicked Waffle is a delightfully fresh and yummy choice with the convenience of being in the mall's food court. I will definitely be back soon!

Great addition to Montgomery mall! Located right in between the Thai kitchen and soon to be McDonald's. Awesome service and not to mention quick as well. Got the egg bacon and cheese waffle sandwich and then the tiramisu waffle for dessert. LOVED THE EGG BACON AND CHEESE WAFFLE. The waffle was so light and crispy. Really held up to the innards of the sandwich. And who doesn't love super crunchy crispy bacon?! Also the tiramisu waffle was really good too. Since the waffle was light and crispy? It went well with the tiramisu toppings. Even after sitting there for a bit while I was eating the sandwich the waffle was still crunchy and crisp. Definitely pleased to have them here!

Such a fantastic little find! We got the sausage, egg and cheese waffle and it was absolutely delicious! The Waffles are light, crispy and perfect if you are looking for a light meal or snack. Also, their mushroom soup. Who would've considered soup at a waffle place, but I am telling you it's a must to try! Also, the staff was great! They had small samples of their waffle with powdered sugar and offered great suggestions for a waffle newbie.

Ordered the Mango & Brie. It was awful. First, it is clearly in the Sandwich section of the menu but it wasn't a sandwich. The manager pointed this out *after* my order had gone in. (I heard him talking to another customer about it.) You could call it an open-faced sandwich but that would be an insult to open-faced sandwiches. The amount of ingredients laying on the waffle were so minimal as to be barely there. My "sandwich" looked nothing like their their pictures of sandwiches bulging with layers of ingredients. The brie had been sliced so thin that it entirely melted, thereby losing the wonder of brie texture. The jalapeno had also been sliced too thin. I couldn't taste it at all. The "spicy berry jam" was also too little. I could detect no spicy aspect to it. The mango was also too thin. It was barely there. For me, the flavors (limited as they were) didn't complement each other. So even if they put on a more reasonable amount, I wouldn't order this again. For a $9.28 item, this was a huge disappointment. The only reason I didn't return it was that I got it to go. Next time I'm at Montgomery Mall, I will ask for my money back.

I've been to Wicked Waffles a total of 2 times (most recent was this afternoon) and I've enjoyed both visits. I've tried both the sweet/dessert waffle, strawberry cheesecake, and the savory waffle, smoked salmon (forget the name). Both were excellent. My friend and I tried their lentil soup and puree mushroom soup. I will definitely be beelining there while I explore the rest of the menu.

Went to this place for the first time while I was on my break for some soup because my wisdom teeth just got pulled and there was no line comparatively. Glad I did because the service I got was great...my soup was ready in less than thirty seconds and I was good to go. I ordered the tomato pesto soup - really good texture to it, not too thick, and it tasted great. The staff and owner were really nice, too; I definitely have to go back and try some other stuff when I get my mouth working again! (:

Not only is their service amazing but the sandwiches are fresh and yummy. I esp recommend the walnut grape chicken waffle and tomato soup!!

Stumbled on this place in the Montgomery Mall food court. The food is amazing! I had the soup/half sandwich combo ($8) with a cup of the mushroom soup and half of a tomato/mozzarella/arugula sandwich. You can tell this is chef-crafted food-- a much higher quality than most local restaurants, and light years away from anything I've ever tasted at a food court. (They will let you taste any soup before making your selection-- so no risk to trying one out). The owner/head chef happened to be there today and gave me a rundown of the ingredients in the various soups, and several of the other dishes. He is very friendly and clearly passionate about serving high quality food. He mentioned that they don't use styrofoam containers, which I also appreciate.

I like the concept but DRY WAFFLES horrible, no taste, you could break a bone or a tooth. Watch out!

I thought to myself, Why not try this new restaurant? at the mall. I had the Turkey Medley--it was extremely salty and the overall flavors were not there (It is really just cheese, turkey ham, and bacon) The waffles are not cheap, the waffle sandwich was about 8.75 (no side included). Considering other places (McDonald's right next to it) I could have gotten a better sandwich elsewhere for cheap. I did not enjoy it mostly because it was ~extremely salty~ like if I had not bought the water for an extra $1 that would have sucked...it was also oily and extremely dried. On the other hand, I tried the sample of the sweet waffle and it was good but is it worth almost 9$? definitely NOT--I'd buy chipotle x10.

The fried chicken that came with the chicken and waffle had, I think, panko breading...not my taste at all. Expecting something savory, the Chicken didn't have much flavor even though it was doused in 'maple' syrup. The chicken wasn't hot either. It looked good when I got my order, but after one bite I decided I was going to have to get another dinner on my way home because this didn't cut it for me. The flavors were seriously lacking in my opinion. Chicken was thinly sliced and kinda tough perhaps from being fried too long. The more I think about it, the fried chicken sucked big time. Waffle was okay, but to me it seemed strange that it was really crispy all the way through...as it too was a previously made waffle gone through a deep fryer before serving. They kids up front taking orders were def friendly, but a little confused since they've been open less than a week. Not expensive at all, great concept, def welcome in the Mont Mall, but honestly I was disappointed. I will have to give it another shot sometime when I'm here since most of the places to eat in the mall are pretty dismal.

I was super stoked to find out that another Wicked Waffle opened up in the area, so I had to check it out. It was easy to find & the waffles were as awesome as the customer service. I love their savory & sweet waffles. Can't wait to try the tiramisu one next!

YUM!!! I will definitely be returning to Wicked Waffle! Not only was the food, fast and FANTASTIC, the staff was very polite and everything was sparkling clean!

  • Izzy H.

Food tastes great, but not too filling. I only had the savory sandwiches so far... Tastes great. The waffle is a bit to airy for my liking and isn't dense like other waffles.

I've been waiting for more variety at the Montgomery Mall and was really hoping to like this place. However, Wicked Waffle is now my least favorite place at the food court. I ordered the chicken and waffle. My waffle was so dry and brittle. My waffle crumbled as soon as my fork hit it. I was denied a cup of water.

  • Alitalia A.

I worked an event in the mall for 8 days and ate here 5 of those days. OOPS! the tiramisu, salmon and chicken and waffles are ridiculous. I wouldn't mind that being my breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of my life. I do wish that the waffles were a little thicker for the price ($8-$11), but seriously this is some of the best food I've ever eaten. And not to mention the staff are so nice! The first time I went it took me way too long to decide since I wanted to try everything. They were patient and gave their honest opinions about the flavors of each dish. That definitely helped in my decision making!

This is the mall location of the main outlet in DC and we are so thankful for that! They serve the yummy waffles in the mall and I don't have to drive to DC to get my fix! The waffles are awesome - light, fluffy and cooked just right. I like Fried Chicken Waffle. Portion size is good too and the price is very reasonable. This is one of the best food options in the food court :)

  • Mari K.

Tried their chicken and waffles... made me super sick. The chicken didn't taste like the typical fried chicken. I can't even explain what it tasted like... And the cole slaw that came with the meal was definitely NOT fresh. It was soggy and you can tell that the vegetables weren't fresh by looking at the color. Waffles were alright but how can you mess up on waffles. I'm only going to come here to get the dessert waffles from now on. Never again getting something from their savory sandwiches section.

This place is located inside of the mall. It is in the mist of a newly renovated food court that is so upscale and filled with lots of different unique foods. It is not your typical food court. The waffle that I got was perfect. It came with strawberries, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce. The waffle is light and does not have a doughy texture. Really yummy. I would recommend this place if you are trying to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I decided to have a quick breakfast one morning and tried their Sweet Waffle with Chocolate. The menu states that it is with Powdered Sugar and French Chocolate Sauce. I only decided on trying it because they have replica of one behind their case (to the right of the register) and it looks like the chocolate is slightly drizzled on the waffle. What I got looked more like a waffle that was drowning in chocolate vs it looking like it was drizzled on and so because of that you don't really get to taste the powdered sugar and the waffle as the chocolate overpowered both. It was almost like I was eating a chocolate waffle dipped in melted chocolate for a long time and I am glad I ate it quick as I could taste it getting cold as time went on. For drinks they serve bottled teas and soda. I got the Organic Mint & Honey Green Tea and it was light and refreshing - you could definitely taste the honey in it. I will check them out again, some time in the future - for now it is 2.5 stars. Tip If you get your item to go, be sure you have utensils/napkin and syrup (if needed) as I saw them forget it for one or two folks

The waffles here are amazing. They are very very light and fluffy. I've enjoyed both the chicken and waffle as well as the Bacon egg cheese waffle. Only place in the mall you can get awaffle at 7pm - Awesomeness right!! It's located in the mall's food court so there's not much to say about service. I like it and I'm a regular here!

  • Colin G.

I've never had such good waffles as I did here. The Nutella with strawberries was fantastic and the breakfast waffle with sausage and egg was awesome too without being too heavy. The proprietor was one of the nicest I've met, a very friendly Frenchman who was happy to chat with us while our food was made. Definitely coming back.

  • Lee E.

It's good, but not for breakfast if you're really hungry. I yelped breakfast from my hotel and Wicked Waffle came up. It had the best reviews and when I saw it was in the closest mall to me, somehow I thought it was going to be a real sit down restaurant and not in the food court. I got the french toast waffle. It was good and cheap, but very light. I'm a little disappointed now and will probably need to go somewhere to get a real meal. They do offer many different waffle sandwiches tho. Maybe I'll try them next time.

Love. Love. Love. This place I was a bit scarred to try anything other then a normal waffle. But after having their turkey club I've got a whole new look on waffles. This is definitely a place to go for lunch or breakfast. Their Pb&j is also awesome. I go back every chance I get.

The new staff here have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Had to repeat my order 3x and they still got it wrong, but not before they overcharged me. Until they hire new staff, I will not be coming back.

I was surprised to find such high quality fare in a mall food court. My husband and I had the Peking duck waffle, mango and brie waffle and sweet potato soup. For dessert our family shared the strawberry cheesecake waffle. My 10 year old son loved the cheesecake waffle. Everything was wicked delicious! I'm already thinking what to get next time.

Happened to get to mall too early to shop, so was pleasantly surprised to find Wicked Waffle open at 10:30. I had been to the store downtown for lunch, but not breakfast. Ordered a turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich with tomatoes added, had the sandwich steaming hot after 3:00 minutes, and couldn't have asked for anything else. Son had the plain waffle with syrup on it. Both were excellent!

  • James J.

Went for the first time yesterday and had a super delicious custom made waffle sandwich the staff dubbed "The Adambomb". Not only was it delicious, but they were super friendly the entire time. I'll definitely be back!

I got the waffle with chocolate sauce and an additional side of strawberries. Taste: +2 Star. It was hot, fresh and yummy. Price: +0 Star. For $1.25 they gave me 2.5 extra strawberries... Are. You. Kidding. Me. So 50 cents a strawberry? What kid of scam are you running... Cleanliness: +0 Star. The employee was using the same spatula to cook the waffle, to also dispose of old batter to the trash can. I didn't want to eat the waffle after seeing the cross contamination. Speed: +0 Star. I thought this would be a quick grab and go therefore I was not expecting to wait 5+ mins for my order. Overall, I probably won't go back because I was a bit disgusted and I can get my sweet tooth craving somewhere cleaner and more generous.

Really surpringly good food for a food court. Mushroom soup excellent. Enjoyed the smoked salmon waffle - good portions, excellent waffle - love that they have gluten free waffles - my son said his gluten free chocolate waffle was excellent - next time we will get coldstone creamery icecream nearby to go with.

  • Matthew L.

I was surprised to see that a breakfast waffle would only cost me $5! I was pretty hungry going into the meal and I was wondering if the waffle would be enough, and it was! I tried the Turkey, Egg, and Cheese Waffle, and it hit the spot. A generous portion of turkey was present and the waffle was nice a crispy. The cashier Walt was one of the most friendly cashiers I have ever met - not only did he engage me in meaningful conversation, but I observed that he was outgoing to every single customer that passed by. I'll definitely return to see Walt again and try out more of their waffles!

I visited Wicked Waffles (6/7/15) first time. My first impression: this eatery in food court @ Montgomery Mall offers lots of waffle options sweet & savory. I came in search of breakfast. Ordered wicked waffle w/sausage, egg & cheese. Within 5 minutes I was handed an Eco-friendly carry out container & small condiment size container of syrup. Inside Eco-friendly container a wicked waffle under it an egg, cheese & sausage pattie. Wow!!! This waffle so tender, light & airy. The egg moist, cheese creamy, tender sausage not too spicy or fatty. Overall a great combination topped w/syrup. No need for extra butter. A Delicious breakfast! Prompt/Pleasant service.

Having been to Mosaic and seeing the ratings on Yelp, I had high hopes for Wicked Waffle. The fact that there was no one in line at the height of lunch hour, when every other place was packed, should have keyed me off to something. But I decided to try it anyway and was disappointed. I went with the chicken and waffle. It wasn't terrible, but far from good. The waffle was hard and crusty, the fried chicken with panko breading was flavorless, and the sriracha maple syrup that was on the side didn't add anything. The cole slaw was actually the best part, but didn't mix well with the waffle and chicken. I now fully understand why there was no on here- they are so many better options in the food court.

Best waffle's I've ever tasted! Never have I been able to describe waffles as light and crispy... But I can now! We had a sweet and also savory breakfast waffle, both amazing! We spoke to the extremely friendly proprietor and he explained why his waffles were so light! Perfect crispness and texture without leaving you with a feeling that you just ate a brick like with restaurant waffles! He also uses no butter or syrup so it's lighter in calories. Also gluten free! This is a new favorite for me! I think his enthusiasm for his product, his very kind uplifting spirit and infectious smile is something you don't expect, a breathe of fresh air, in a mall food court! Made my day! Moving to VA and hoping that Thierry will be opening one in Ashburn! Pretty please! :-) We will definitely be back!

Food: had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast waffle. The waffles were really light and crispy, which I enjoyed, but they were also larger than I imagined. A little hard to eat, but doable. My cheese was kind of burnt.. And I wish I had some maple syrup with it. This sandwich was so-so; Nothing notably tasty about it. I also asked if they could replace the egg in the sandwich with egg whites and they said they couldn't do it bc they only did egg whites with vegetables for their egg white with vegetable sandwich. Hmph. I would be willing to pay extra but whatever. Service: interacted with two workers: one was kind, open and knowledgable while the other was a little less kind and open. They definitely have a lot of interesting combinations that I want to come back try though.

I was craving waffles one day (this incident probably happens close to 6 months ago) and so my boyfriend and I looked on yelp where I could satisfy my appetite. We saw the great reviews and decided to try this out. Ever since then, we always make the trek from Arlington to get waffles from here. We habitually get the tiramisu waffle which is literally perfection. Light waffle batter with smooth marscapone cheese, dusted with cocoa power and powdered sugar and then topped with an amazing, but not too strong, coffee syrup. Literally the best waffle I've ever had. I've also ventured recently into their other waffles which are also amazing. It'd be hard to get a waffle here, sweet or savory, that isn't a palate sensation :)

  • Jennifer L.

I've tried wicked waffle twice. I like the many options of getting the waffles with ice cream, fruits, or as a sandwich. The waffles I got both times were good. But I've had fluffy waffles from a waffle house and it's not the same. It'll definitely be better if the waffles were more fluffier inside.

Their waffles are all that you could want. Light, crispy, good flavor. The waffle can stand on its own. The toppings are also good. The cinnamon apple one is delicious.

Stopped by after shopping at Nordstroms. We just moved from the west coast, so I had no idea what we were getting into. We ordered 4 dishes, all were good, but the Bacon, Egg & Cheese and french toast were very impressive for a fast food/food court place! What seemed to be the owner, helped us; he was nice and patient with our indecisiveness. We are foodies, and this place has had better food and service than half the breakfast places we've tried in the area.

When my friend took me to Montgomery Mall (I think I have the right mall - I am not a frequent Maryland visitor), he wanted me to try this place out. The tiramisu was amazing! Everything is made on the spot so you will have to wait a bit to be served. And the portions are large so be ready to share ...I wish there was one in VA.

  • Katherine L.

Tasted good but just simply not worth it. OH AND what seemed to be management was talking down to the other employees in a way that completely disgusted me. Got the Tomato, Mozzarella & Arugula sandwich and the tomato basil soup. The sandwich was refreshingly tasty. The soup was like any other tomato basil soup I have had except they've changed the presentation by having you sip the soup through a cup like a drink- eh... I could do without that part. I like to use a spoon with my soup. This place is at a food court after all and not on the side of the road where I would be on-the-go. Overall I would go again just for the food but won't because I would never like to hear someone be spoken to in that manner again. I get it is probably a min wage job but that does not give anyone the right to speak to someone in that manner. EVER.

I don't know this place is so popular. The savory waffle sandwiches were tasteless and annoying to eat as the waffle was delicate and broke apart after the first bite. The service was prompt and the place had great indoor and outdoor seating. The customer service was super nice but I was disappointment by the food. Maybe next ill try the sweet ones and will have better luck but I highly doubt I will be going back

I've wanted to try wicked waffle for about 2 years and finally got the chance today. After the long wait, all I can say is what a disappointment. I ordered the grilled turkey and cheese. It was very plain looking and dull as you can see from the picture. It was literally just turkey and cheese between a waffle. There was no sauce, veggies, or anything and very plain tasting. It was very thin and it just looked like waffle unless you pulled it apart then you could see something besides waffle. I can't complain about the flavor but I could of just easily slapped a few pieces of turkey and cheese between bread (or waffle) . The waffle was crisp but had very little flavor, probably due to the lack of them using butter and other ingredients. Maybe ingredients in the other sandwiches give it flavor but a flavorless waffle with a small portion of turkey and cheese left the whole taste lacking. The other pictures on yelp look so appetizing maybe I had a poor experience. They weren't busy at lunch time and I was the only person in line when every other place in the food court was packed. Maybe that should have been a sign. Would I go pack, probably not.

I had been to the DC location once for breakfast on a Saturday morning and loved the Waffle French Toast, but what kept me from going back was that it was so crowded and there was nowhere to sit, especially when the weather wasn't suitable for sitting outside. I walked out wishing they would open a location outside of the city. Fast forward a year, and here they are in Montgomery Mall's revamped upscale food court. I was thrilled to see that they still have most of the same breakfast options (including the Waffle French Toast) as their downtown location, although they did switch out some of their lunch sandwiches for other new ones. I ordered the turkey and cheese croque monsieur, and it came in three, roughly square waffle sandwich pieces. I thought it was excellent, though as I had expected, I ended up being hungry again a couple hours later. Perhaps next time, I should order one of the sides (they had waffle fries and sweet potato waffle fries on offer), though this would drive the cost up over $10. Overall, Wicked Waffle is definitely a great addition to the area.

Food courts have become wilted salad wastelands ever since I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. I kinda dread trying to find stuff to eat now, because of how high the odds are that I'll find nothing. Consequently, I felt like a kid on Christmas stumbling across Wicked Waffle - which, for an additional $1.25 will make your sandwich on a dedicated GF waffle iron. I got a turkey, Brie and honey mustard sandwich on a gluten free waffle with a coke. It was just under ten bucks, but considering how GIGANTIC the sandwich is, I felt like I got my money's worth! The waffle is crisp, and the turkey and brie were excellent. It definitely was not only a notch above typical food court fare, but also one of the best GF sandwiches I've had. I can't wait to go back to try other things! Also - the staff was incredibly friendly. Both the woman taking our order and her boss were very nice and chatted with me while waiting for my food. I appreciate little things like that! I'll definitely be back.

I enjoy finding places just so I can cheat on my diet with and Wicked Waffle was just the place to do the job! I'm not sure who decided to open this place, but they're a complete genius! Everything here is made with waffles as the star. Instead of bread, the sandwiches are in between two waffles. Even the desserts are made with waffles! They have sweet and savory waffles that are made to order, so they aren't sitting around for hours before you order them. Being a Wicked Waffle newbie, I decided to stick with what I know, so I ordered the chicken and waffle and a order of fries. It included one waffle, a strip of deep fried chicken breast and some sort of cold slaw concoction on top. It was such a welcomed and delightful meal. The waffle was fluffy and the chicken was seasoned well. The fries weren't really memorable, but not bad. After eating the meal I didn't feel overly stuffed or weighed down. It's a decent size portion and the waffle is light. The staff was polite and helpful and the service was quick. I will be back again to cheat on my diet. Whatever you do, don't tell my trainer about my cheating ways. Lol!

I love this place, it's become a tradition for us to go on Sunday afternoons and try new waffle combos. I really like all of their sandwich waffles, they are delicious. I'm not really a big sweet tooth so i i have only tried the triamasu waffle as a desert waffle but it was amazing! like mind blowingly awesome. I recommend it, but it is a stand alone, as it's huge. The only thing i ate that i didn't like was the chicken and waffle, the chicken that they used was merely meh. The only other thing i'm not a huge fan of is a couple of times i was at the mall and they closed before the mall did. I understand places in the food court closing at 9p on the dot with the rest of the mall, but at least 2x now i've stopped by at 8:45/8:50 on my way out the door and they were closed. Lights out and no employees to be seen. Not even the sushi place closes down that fast. i'll stick to the midday staff they are happy and nice and recognize me and my boyfriend, between the midday staff and the amazing food options i'll definitely be back though. that place is so addictive. and they gluten free options for all those who are curious~!

A Friday in Lent is never fun for this Catholic girl when eating out. We were in the food court at Montgomery Mall and I glanced over the menu and found several non-meat options that sounded appealing. I had the Savory Nova which is smoked salmon, onions, capers, cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes. It was so tasty... though I was still a bit hungry when I finished it. The SO had the Grilled Natural Ham & Cheese Croque Monsieur, which is their French version of a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. He too was hungry still after the sandwich and commented that he wished he had know what else was on the sandwich (I think there was lettuce and tomato) so he could have requested it without it.

The waffles here are the best I've ever had. Nice, light and hollow in the inside just like I love my waffles.... not heavy and bready. They are dangerous because although they are a nice size, they're so light it doesn't feel like you ate one... so next time I'm ordering 2.

What a neat idea? It's like they took a waffle food truck and slammed it into the Mecca of mall food! Amongst the plethora of fast food junk like McDonalds, Panda Express and Sarku lays a gem... Wicked Waffle! Waffles made fresh to order and then either stuffed or topped with everything from fresh berries and ice cream to Muenster cheese and turkey! What the what??? Yeah, I said it; GRILLED CHEESE & TURKEY WAFFLE SANDWICH, FTW! I didn't get to enjoy this sandwich in all it's glory because I was a ravenous glutton and saved the sandwich for my ride home while I ate Sarku. Once I got home, I cradled the sandwich into my oven and let her crisp up... To my surprise, delicious fluffy waffle with a good balance of cheese and turkey. Not American in the sense that it's overly stuffed... What am I really saying? Well, simply put; try it the next time you're at the food court!

Simply Waffle Art! Wafftabulous! I need a wafflectomy!! This is just a great place that is not to be missed. I took my family there this past weekend. Everyone was thrilled with the change of pace. We ordered different things on the menu and they were all great.

We stopped by on opening day and we were not disappointed. We ordered two bacon, egg and cheese waffle sandwiches. So delicious! The waffles were toasted to perfection, the scrambled eggs were fresh. The cheese and bacon were a little salty for my taste but it was still fabulous. I will be back. And their motto is so true ... No butter, no syrup needed. Just a note, they can't substitute egg whites, but they do offer an egg white and vegetable sandwich. They also offer a variety of other sandwiches, including sweet alternatives, like Nutella. Can't wait to try that!

Very impressed with the quality for food inside a mall. Portions are a bit small but the Taste, texture and freshness was top notch. Will come back for sure!

I really love the idea of waffles sandwich bc it's my fav breakfast meal, I haven't tried the deserts but it look delicious. I didn't really like the food court because it's not competed and it's a little mess. Too loud and under constructed, I just like simple and a clean place to eat. It's also pretty tight spot, other than that my lite savory lunch that my Chica and I shared was absolutely heathy and delicious, so light in my stomach and I still had one slice to bring home for later's snack or to share. I will def come back..

Not great but not bad either. The biggest problem is that it isn't very filling. I had the turkey something sandwich. The waffles themselves have almost no flavor. The turkey was cold, which I guess I should have known, but it was weird with the hot waffle. Overall kinda bland, but not necessarily bad. We also got the chicken and waffle. That was much more flavorful. The syrup was a nice/necessary touch. Not bad for a food court, but a bit on the bland/not filling side.

My review is long overdue. Awful customer service. Don't waste your time or money here! You can get better waffles elsewhere. I had their Tiramisu waffle and it was drenched in what was supposed to be coffee syrup but didn't taste anything like it. I couldn't even stomach the first bite. When I went back to the counter and asked for something else, the man rudely told me I'd have to pay for a new order. When I contacted management afterwards with my horrible experience and asked for a refund for the Tiramisu waffle, they told me that the cashier had told them that he explained to me that "the tiramisu waffle was there most popular one with fresh ingredients." This didn't happen at all! I wouldn't have been so upset if the cashier did take the time to talk to me and help remedy the situation. Instead he was very rude and dismissive. I've never experienced worse customer service and management that I did here. It's unheard of. If you really want to try them go to the DC location, otherwise it's not worth it.

There's brilliance on a lot of levels here. The waffles themselves are fantastic, light and crispy. Forget about traditional waffles (for the time being) as this place does something quite different: waffle sandwiches. You couldn't make a sandwich out of traditional waffles as you'd be full in three bites, but the light ones here are much better for this purpose. The selections are fantastic, and my mozzarella/arugula/tomato and mango/brie waffles were perfect. Excellent vegetarian options and really just a terrific format with great execution. Is this location in a mall? Yes. Is it right next to a McDonalds? Sure. But that's actually not such a bad idea. Their product can be prepared quickly and is really great for light meals or lunch. The waffles I had at this location were perfectly well prepared and the staff was super nice. Easily trumps the usual food court fare. There should be one of these in every mall in America, frankly. But this place is good enough to actually make me go to a mall solely for that purpose -- that's how good these waffles are. This is real innovation!

Only thing "WICKED" here is their prices. $8 Turkey Medley was mediocre. $7 nutella waffle (can't really go wrong with this but for that price I'd expect fresh berries...) Not worth the trek into the mall with horrendous parking and access to food court due to the current construction of Montgomery Mall's new movie theatre. I'd rather make home made waffles with "Maple Grove Farms" Belgian WAFFLE mix. Sooo much better.

Ok, so went to Cheesecake Factory last week and had a very good waffle which was reasonably priced for Cheesecake menu. Other night was in food court, on the late dinner side for me, and thought give Wicked Waffle a shot. I was really surprised how crisp and tasty their waffle was. It is not the size of Cheesecake's waffle but consistency and taste was every bit as good at around half the price. Excellent choice when you are not ravenous but want a lighter tasty bite. They claim maple syrup but somewhat skeptical on that point still a much better syrup than most. Next time I will try with strawberries. Their hot teas are a nice selection as well. Definitely goes way up there on my breakfast list. Who ever thought I would say that about Montgomery Mall Food Court.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I"ll admit I was a little skeptical at first. Sandwich items slapped between two waffles didn't sound quite right to me, nor healthy, but my husband seemed to enjoy the mozzerella, tomato, and arugula sandwich. I got the chicken and waffles, and it balanced the savory and sweet well, and the waffle was nice and light. The fried chicken was more like chicken katsu, which was a nice twist to the tradition. The place is located in the food court of the mall, so it's not exactly a place to bring a date, but certainly a nice place to stop at after a long day of shopping.

I'm a sucker for something new so I went right for this place. My mom was not so easy to convince. We both love what we ordered. We had a tuna melt and a ham and cheese. both really good.
