Authentic Chinese - very good. Great service. Family owned and operated so they have a vested interest in making sure you are happy. Ask for "Shelby". She is a little quiet, but a good waitress. She does a nice job translating your request to the cooks and works hard to make sure you have everything you need.

Hands down. the BEST... i repeat BEST chicken wings i believe i have ever had in my entire life. and believe me i have had a lot of chicken wings im a HUGE fan. so Lindys is basically a fried chicken place.. they do all things chicken.. fried chicken, chicken strips, chicken wings, chicken salad, gizzards... everything. they also have a good variety of sides to choose from to go along with ur amazing chicken. whichever kind u decided to get. This place is a north Florida (Tallahassee area only as far as i know) specialty. there is none like it anywhere else... there can be imitators and others like it. But nothing will ever be quite as good. Also, have to say. i have eaten at a few of the branches of lindys around Tallahassee and the original (i believe) in Crawfordville is by far the best of them. Its a little out of town but by far worth the drive. If ur in the area for travel work or pleasure u NEED.. to stop by and check it out. i dont think there is any way possible u could be disappointed with this place unless u just plain dont have taste buds or hate chicken.
My parents came for a visit from Colorado and my step-mother wanted some fried chicken...well we tried the place and I couldn't really finish my meal. I think it was the fried ant stuck to the chicken. I should have known this place was going to be a bit off as the cleanliness of the dining room was trashed.
i don't give many fives but ...... i always look for a local chicken place when i travel, along with barb but this is the spot that made me seek local chicken spots, whenever I travel. Lindys has several franchises in the greater Tallahassee area and most of them are privately owned. THIS IS THE BEST LOCATION OF THEM ALL! They treat each order with personal care ... They are not the best wings ever but they are pretty good. Personally I absolutely LOVE their chicken sandwich. SIX STARS! I REALLY ENJOY THEIR FRIED CHICKEN, I prefer white meat and it is NEVER dry, ever. FIVE STARS The french fries ... FIVE. Lemonade ... FIVE Sweet Tea ... SIX The owners are usually on-site ... cooking or waiting on their customers ..... This is really good!!

BW’s Grill

BW's has changed the way we view food in Crawfordville. No, its not always the greatest and the variety can sometimes be limited. What you do get is great customer services and great food. The Hawaiian Chicken is a favorite in our house. Adding the fact that you can replace any beef burger with Bison makes it all the more better. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I will have to agree with most posts. The fries are usually overdone and a bit oil soaked but other than that, really good homestyle food. Worth the trip in my book. They have our business and will continue to have it.
Decent burgers and crinkle cut fries for a strip mall restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The decor and furnishings were plain and seemed unfinished taking away from the overall dining experience.
I enjoy the meatloaf but the atmosphere is quite lacking. This could be a great place and the owners are great people but they've hired terrible employees. The food is mostly priced right but the burgers are all a bit high. Overall I like the other meals here but really could use atmosphere and better help.

Great food! Coffee was fantastic. The salad I ordered had fresh crisp vegetables and the grilled cheese I ordered was perfect, although a bit pricey. Not much on the menu for vegetarians or pescatarians.
Nachos were pretty blah. The Ribs included the cartilage tips and impossible for kids to eat them. Service and atmosphere was nice. I need to try a few more menu items before giving them more or less stars.
Outstanding BBQ. Pulled pork was fantastic. Now in new location in Medart.

Hardee’s

2994 Crawfordville Hwy
Crawfordville, 32327
Reviews:
Not only do they have the best fast-food breakfast (oh, the biscuits!), but last week we just received some of the best customer service you can get at any establishment of any kind. Stopping by this Hardee's is a long-standing tradition for our family on our trips to the coast. Or to Wakulla for canoeing. Or anywhere in this general direction, like Missisippi or Texas In fact, we usually time our road trips so we can have breakfast here. But we messed up last week. We got there 10 minutes too late. I was near devastated, but, trying for persepctive, took a deep breath and ordered a hamburger. Then changed to a different hamburger. Then changed my mind (again), but my mom was trying to order, waffling between several options and asking detailed questions about each choice...so I waited. Then changed it to a hot dog. And my mom then decided to change her order (again) to a hot dog, too. After reassuring us that it was fine, no not a bother, truly, it was his pleaseure, the nice young man (was his name Rusty?) ran to the back to tell the kitchen we had changed our fickle little minds (again). Then after we paid, we decided to add some cookies and a coffee. Which we were apparently supposed to help ourselves too, but we either didn't know or we forgot or something... By this time, I think the young man felt sorry for us, perhaps sensing that our mental capacity had been compromised by the paint fumes at my mom's house (she's getting it renovated). He actually BROUGHT the meal to our table, realized we never got our self-serve coffee and cookies, and kindly brought that to us as well! He asked us if we needed anything else, and then, with a small bow, left us to enjoy our hot dogs and cookies. What a sweet heart! Later, the manager stopped by to ask us how things were going. I didn't have the heart to tell them that the chilli on my dog was too salty, but it was. But once I scraped the chili off, the hot dog was just fine. I'm coming here tomorrow, too, on my way to St. George...but I am going to be sure to make it in time for breakfast.
It's a Hardees. The staff was helpful and friendly. The coffee is better than mc-d's.
My first Hardee's experience. I had the chicken tenders, fries and a vanilla shake. Typical fast food, but a step up from McDonalds. I also had the oreo ice cream sandwich which they were nice enough to hold inside for me until I had finished my food, so it wouldn't melt. Very nice staff! We ate outside and there is a nice little outdoor seating area.

Spring Creek Restaurant

Reviews:
I grew up going to this place and I almost fell off my chair when I sat down and saw the prices on the menu. Are they joking? 17 dollars for fried catfish? 27 dollars for a seafood platter with tiny pieces of shrimp and fish? This is the Florida backwoods, not Boston. Sad to say that this place is no longer worth patronizing. The prices are astronomical, the portions are tiny, and the food is not as good as it used to be (overly salty, greasy, etc.). Sad.
This is one of those places we have meant to visit for a while. We ended up here to celebrate an anniversary, although the only really celebratory aspect is how far from home this place is. Great seafood (steak not so much, but it IS called Spring Creek not Spring Ranch!) and old Florida charm. Chad's wonderful pen and ink drawings deserve a close up view - after the appropriately tangy key lime pie of course!
I live nearby and have always enjoyed the fresh seafood with their nice atmosphere

This place is a hole in the wall/biker bar (literally), so if that's not your thing then don't go here. That said, everyone was really nice to us and the food is some of the best we'd had in the area. Everything was fresh and tasted great, not to mention that the mullet dip was unbelievably good! The bad on Sunday was worth staying for, and we drove the 45 minutes each way on Tuesday to have lunch there a 2nd time.
We had to slam on the brakes and do a u-turn when we saw the sign for fish dip outside this little hole in the wall. It was a bit scary walking in, as it's more of a rough bar than a restaurant, but the food did not disappoint. We had smoked mullet, fish dip and oyster stew. The oysters were shucked right in front of us. Just close your eyes and go eat here.
Great hole in the wall local dive, perfect for a cold beer, amazing fish dip and plenty of eclectic people watching. We came to listen to a local band and met a few bikers, a local family with a daughter our age, and a carful of tourists from Japan (seriously). Don't miss the oysters, which are super-fresh from the area. Come by on a weekend night for live music by the toilet garden (no really, there's a toilet garden). Don't let the appearance fool you- give it a try!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. The servers are very helpful and kind, and the food is delicious. Don't like Mexican? They have chicken fingers and burgers!
El Jalisco in Crawfordville does an amazing business. That said, it basically has no competition in Wakulla. Some of their dishes are quite tasty. Their service depends on their level of staffing and the size of the crowd. On a Friday night, count on a packed house and a 10-20 minute wait for a table. Once at a table, your service may be slow. The noise level will be deafening. In Wakulla, your alternative for Mexican is to drive 15 miles back into Leon County. So, you deal with the wait and slow service to eat some not half bad Mexican food. I also recommend ignoring the dubious cleanliness of the establishment. It is sort of a dive, take it at face value. El Jalisco has tasty salsa. They have good happy hour specials. The Mexican lasagna is yummy comfort food. My husband loves the Mexican grilled chicken. They just started offering table side guacamole. I have not sampled it yet but I watched it being made and the presentation is impressive. This place is 5 minutes from my house and my husband and I eat in the dining room or get take out here at least once a week. The food is comparable to the El Jalisco locations in Tallahassee.
Very, very good Mexican Food. Good service, reasonable prices, maybe too cheap considering the quality. I'll be back!
