A staple of the Fox Valley. Beats the hell out of McD's or the other burger joints. Solid food and fair prices, gotta love it.

Hands down the best authentic Mexican food you will get anywhere in the Valley. This restaurant is owned by Mike and his wife Maria. Maria is from Mexico, and all the recipes here are handed down from her Family. Her two brothers are the Chef's here at Mi Casa. I first discovered this place after being brought here by my father, who is a good friend of the owners. Both Mike and Maria are wonderful people and very personable. Maria makes some of the best tamales that I have ever had. The food here at Mi Casa reflects the love that is put into the cooking, and you just can't be disappointed after a meal here. This is the only place that I go now for Mexican.

I was excited to try out the WeatherVane as I have heard many positive reviews. I stopped in early one Saturday morning for breakfast. I secured a coveted window seat and proceeded to enjoy the sunny morning on Main St Menasha. This place is an excellent addition to downtown. Homey, friendly, clean and very inviting. Perfect for a pot of coffee, good conversation and a decent breakfast. I had the scrambler and my GF had an omelet. Pretty standard breakfast fare, nothing over the top but still pretty good. Prices were decent (it seems breakfast food is always a little pricey IMO no matter where you go). The service was super friendly and fast. You could tell this is a family business where the family is there and putting their hearts into delivering a good product. The WeatherVane is an excellent alternative to the other breakfast greasy-spoon in town...and I didnt smell like bacon grease for the rest of the day...not that it is always a bad thing to smell like bacon grease but you know what I mean!
We love to sit outside with our two dogs and watch the world go by while enjoying a great breakfast. The waitstaff is fantastic and the owner usually pops out to see how our meal was. A Menasha treasure!
Fantastic food. I've had a couple of their omlette types, the french toast (the best of the lot), pancakes, and the weekend buffet is a value. My only complaint, with all this fine cooking, is the coffee. It's run-of-the-mill and you can find better in some convenience stores. I'll still be going back, though.

Third Street Diner

We are huge fans of the Third Street Diner!!! We moved to the other side of town last year and tried to find our new 'greasy spoon' (I say this in the highest regards) ... couldn't find anything even close. None of the 'chains' gave us what we got at the Third Street. So now drive 10 miles - but it's worth every mile of it! Great food - Great Service! Our favorite little 'greasy spoon' ;-)
Just me and my husband. He had the steak and eggs. I had the house salad and any three appetizer. Pro: very homely like. Very nice and friendly waitresses. Fast service for a slow day. Con: food was ok for their price.
We stopped into Third Street Diner a while back mostly based on the Yelp reviews, and I have to say I was a little disappointed. This is more of a true greasy (little bit dirty) spoon than a quaint, quality diner. The food is cheap (big breakfast for probably around $6-7) but the ingredients are no doubt low grade as well. The waitress was super friendly but she seemed a little on the inexperienced side of things. The decor and upkeep of the place is not much to write home about. I found this joint to be a decent spot to rev up on coffee and get something in your stomach but in terms of cuisine it wasn't anything more than grilled-up breakfast staples you could find in any hole-in-the-wall spot in the USA. Perhaps the rest of their menu is different, I dunno, because I only popped in once the day after a Packers game. This place has the right kind of vibe: Regular folks workin' to make a living. But like the dysfunctional newspaper boxes outside the front door, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Now that doesn't mean you shouldn't go and see for yourself.

Club Tavern

Reviews:
Club has the best selection of tap beers around, a great staff that treats you like family and great art deco decor. You'll be reminded of all the great corner bars of yesteryear. The german potato salad and coleslaw are the best anywhere. Don't forget they serve all their great fish on Wed and Thurs without the Friday wait
I only went in one time but it's a quaint bar and very busy for Friday fish. Did not see walleye on the menu (which was a bit disappointing) but went for perch next. They took the order then came out and said that they ran out. So I took a stretch and went for swordfish and my girlfriend went with salmon. The swordfish was not very good (but thank god for tartar sauce!) and the salmon wasn't too bad. The German potato salad was very good, unfortunately my girlfriend got sick. ( we think it was the salmon.) Overall decent environment but stick with fish you have tried
Excellent as always The home cooked food topped with the best selection of beers for many miles and the friendly staff make this a jewel

Great place for breakfast, and they'll even bring you a cheeseburger at a non-traditional time. I had the pancakes, as usual, and they were sweet and delicious. Syrup there is outstanding, and they keep plenty of it right on the table, bless their carb loaded hearts. Eggs, toast, hashbrowns, french toast all got very high reviews at my table. Kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes, and one of them even finished his whole plate in a Man vs. Food like feat of eating prowess. And the cheeseburger was good as well, even at 9 am (that wasn't me eating it). Sweet. No skim milk, apparently their goal is to get you above the 1,000 calorie marker by your 5th bite of food, but if that's my biggest complaint there's nothing to worry about here. You should go here for breakfast, it's a former Perkins, and a huge upgrade.
Good standard breakfast food. Very friendly servers, quick food service during a busy weekend.
It's a diner. Not a 4 star. I had the turkey melt, don't bother. Yuck. And the hot soup was luke warm. The only good thing was the waiter, funny kid with good sense of customer service.

Solea Mexican Grill

Reviews:
Solea is an AMAZING place. Very inexpensive, there are two locations, but the one in Menasha is my favorite. Though sometimes its a 30-45 min wait. The atmosphere is better, though the other place off of 41S has a lot more seating, and a real nice area with real furniture to sit and socialize. Monday through Thursday margaritas are buy one, get your 2nd free!! And good margaritas too. The food is out of this world. The chicken mole burrito is by far my favorite. And the staff is VERY friendly. This is one of the best places in the Fox Valley area by far! I can not believe no one has added it yet.
Thursday night dinner early at 5:30 no wait and no crowd. The server was always there when needed, excellent margaritas no big ice chunks. We ordered fajitas for two. Server said it was enough for four but I think 4 adults and two kids could have eaten it. Huge sizzling platter for $28 add the drinks and an appetizer for $42 dinner with leftovers for a day or two. Steak was tender and juicy. Tasted great. The chips are free and fabulous I didn't ask what they cook (vegtable or canolla etc) them in because I couldn't stop eating them. Good stuff.
This wasn't my first time eating at a Solea, however my first visit to this location. While small, the atmosphere is comfortable. Our easier was very good. Attentive, polite, and quick. We ordered the flautas and a combination dinner that included a cheese enchilada and a chili relleno. I also elected to add a side of soup for an extra $2.00. The soup was very tasty. It was a poblano pepper soup and had a generous amount of chicken and avocado in it as well. The flautas were great. The combination dinner was good, however I was disappointed with the Chili Relleno. It turned out to be a variation of such; filled with beef, onion, seasonings, raisins, and almonds typed with a small amount of cheese sauce. The chili was not battered. The menu portion for the combination dinner did not indicate this difference, and in fact offered no description other than "Chili Relleno". This was my only disappointment, and I'm sure many love this variation, however I don't like raisins and wouldn't have ordered it had I known this. I did request to look at the menu again and verified that I had not missed a description. I even asked staff, but apparently this is the only way they make it. I still plan on returning in the future, however I will not be ordering the same thing.

The food is high quality and the service is awesome! My husband and our best friend couple had a great time tonight! We will be back.
So we gave this place a second chance after a poor experience 2 years ago. This was the last visit. 4 of us came for a birthday dinner and the tenderloin for 2 special. Worst service ever. They've never heard of a Moscow Mule, looked up the recipe but didn't have ginger beer. It took 10 minutes for 4 beers to be delivered. There were only two other tables. The.meal (steak, pasta and French Dip took 30 minutes). One person was served with no explanation that the other 3 meals would be there aoon. Server needed a reminder that a second beer had been ordered. Pas u a was excellent, the other meals were fair. Asked for boxes, waited 10 minutes while server chatted with another table. A member of our party asked him for the boxes and when he brought them he chastised us for being disrespectful and interrupting his service at another table. This is a neighborhood bar that wants to be a classic Wisconsin supper club but has a long way to go. Server needs to learn to read his guests, apologize for/explain delays, pay attention to body language and - oh, grow up!
Karaoke is always a blast here. The crowd is a crazy eclectic mix. It's way fun.

We went there Saturday night. Did not order the pizza but should have. I ordered a build your own burger and should have cooked it myself. Served on a cold bun. (Maybe the chef should visit Mihms down the street for some pointers). The waitress confirmed it was a frozen patty vs. fresh hamburger. The taco fries appetizer; fries were not cooked. We will give it another shot and order a pizza. Hopefully we like it.
Great breakfast location! I wish I had more time to come back and check it out at night. The patio is a great little space to hang out with a good view. My parents stop here every once in a while for breakfast, they said it is really good! They were not exaggerating. We had a great little breakfast on the patio, the manager was extremely nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. My mom and I knew we were not hungry enough for our own omelet, so we decided to share the Mediterranean omelet. While the omelet was fabulous, the only bad thing about our whole experience was in ordering this omelet. The waitress informed us that they charge a "significant upcharge" to split a meal. We mentioned we don't need a split plate, but she grumbled about it. Now, it's not that I don't mind paying a split plate fee, but a "significant" one? Even to eat off the same plate? It just seemed a little weird, not to mention she wasn't very friendly about it. However, we did end up being able to just have my mom order the omelet, so at least all worked out. They also serve caffe latte's for breakfast, and it was delicious! Like I mentioned before, the manager was great, and made return visits a for-sure thing!
We have been going to Aspen Landing/Nauts landing for years. We went a few weeks ago to try the much hyped about volcano pizza. It's showy...but something you do once and that's it. The pizza was good, but their pizza is always good. We really looove their french toast at breakfast time, it's amazing.

Love Luigi's Pizza! This is my fav pizza by far! The cheese steak is great and also the chicken pizza. Always a good pizza! The wait can get a little long when you call in an order for delivery but well worth the wait. Dining in atmosphere is not superb but all in all not bad.
I enjoy bringing my family there! The owners are always there and the staff with their high energy level are always great. But that's not why I come here,it's the incredible authentic meals that my family love the most!!
I love the baked antipasto salad and the baked mostacolli (with extra meat sauce). It's not a fancy place but is great for large groups and children.
