I went there with the girlfriend last night. Server was a young guy named nick h, according to the bill. He was a really good dude, made quite sure that i got my whipped cream for my hot chocolate, was very attentive to our orders, and was sociable and laughed with us as well. He seemed like he knew what he was doing, able to multitask very well as he cleaned dishes off of our table, walked off with them, then came back to kindly tend to the request to another customer who bluntly yelled after him. Probably the most astonishing thing was how he took it upon himself to bring out another sirloin and side of fries, free of charge, when he noticed my girlfriend was unsatisfied with her dish. She was starving, so she said she would eat it anyway. It seemed clear she wasnt satisfied, so nick got the second sirloin, properly cooked to order, and surprised her with it and even included the free second side as well. None of this was asked of him. He just did it. Never seen somebody in this field go that far above and beyond before. Outstanding.

Visited this location for the first time in maybe 10 years. I had a giftcard given to me recently so I decided today was the day. Arrived at 2pm and 90 percent of the restaurant was empty. The hostess gave us no greeting whatsoever and led us to our table after a few minutes. We asked for a booth and I guess it must be difficult to choose one of 15 empty booths? Our server Mitch came to our table and had the personality of a door knob. I understand if you hate your job and all, but at least have a personality and make me want to give you a nice tip. All he said was do you want something to drink. After waiting 25 minutes our food arrived. Steaks were really fatty and the shrimp was not good. Instead of going to Outback, take your money elsewhere. It felt like going to a McDonalds. At least they greet you there.

Overpriced and boring. Steaks are tough and even the rib eye lacked flavor just a lot of fat. We had a large party and for the most part our server was terrific. It's just that my Outback experience of 15 years ago compared to current- leaves a lot to be desired.

The food was a bit spicy, they need a few more workers. Our waiter was never around and when he was he took forever!!! But it was rush hour so we were patient. Other then that good place to dine.

I've been to Outback Steakhouse a few times, and I have always had a decent experience. The staff is very nice and attentive. The restaurant is spacious, with a nice bar area. The tables and chairs are made with a dark wood, and the colors of the walls tend to be dark, so the restaurant has the appearance of not being super well lit, especially if you're there at night. But I can overlook that, since the food is good :-) To start out, you will be brought a loaf of their signature whole wheat bread with butter. It's easy to fill up on that before your meal comes, if you're not careful. Their menu has a decent variety to choose from. One item that I especially like are the Aussie Fish tacos. It comes with three blackened fish and is covered with slaw, pico de gallo, melted cheese, and a herb aioli sauce (love the sauce!). You can also get the tacos with steak or chicken. If you're in the mood for steak, they have very nice cuts of meat, and the steaks are cooked to your liking. If you have room for desert, they have several tasty options. I recommend the classic cheesecake. You can get it topped with either chocolate or raspberry sauce. Mmmmm. Outback has a list of specialty drinks, wine and beer to choose from to compliment your meal.

My experience on my visit to this location was OK. the server was friendly, the food was delicious basically it was an average. The front end manager came around to introduce himself and asked us how things were, a nice touch from management. This location was a little hidden from the norm. It wasn't really that busy. There were several promotions going on so I opted to get the steak and lobster which was going for $14.99 delicious and of course the appetizer blooming onions. If you haven't downloaded the outback 365 app yet on your iOS device, do it. We got our blooming onions for free just by downloading the app. Overall my experience here was a 3 star. If in the neighborhood of 76th st check it out.

I love, love, love the Bloomin' Onion! This is a must as a starter whenever I go to Outback Steak House. The steaks are always perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. For a change in scenery/experience try sitting at the bar. The bartenders are all friendly and helpful. This has been my go-to seating option for a while now.

I don't often go to chain restaurants, but it was a late weekday evening and my girlfriend and I just picked the first place we saw. We've been to Outback in the past (different states) and it has been decent, nothing to write home about but not terrible either. That being the case, I think that this particular Outback was one of the better ones I've been to! When we arrived, the place was maybe half full so we were seated right away. Patrick B was our server, and he was quite awesome. I don't normally call out individual servers, but Patrick was outstanding. He was attentive to our pace (some people take forever to order, some know exactly what they want, etc...), very knowledgeable on all the products, very polite, and genuine. The food was good and arrived fast. The atmosphere was nice and very clean as well. I may not rush to get back here, but I definitely won't turn down going here either!

Went there with my SO while being extremely grumpy from hunger. Left full and happy! The burger was really amazing, with an actual beef patty cooked to perfection, not some unknown mystery meet that some places have. The bun was delicious, which is rare since usually it acts as a filler. It was crunchy on the outside while soft and buttery on the inside, with some sesame seeds on top. The salad (which I chose as a healthy option over fries, which I later snagged off my bf's plate anyways-and they were good as well) was delicious, with buttermilk ranch dressing, not the bottle kind. Afterwards I got a keylime pie martini, and it was delicious! Also, there was a home made soft warm bread with some butter, and that was so good, I had trouble not eating the whole thing and ruining my appetite. The waitress was very nice and attentive, but not overbearing. Overall, I loved it, and will be definitely coming back for more.

I came here for a $9 lunch which included a real nice salad. Granted, the meat is not fabulous but it is a good option for the area.

What can I say..? AWESOME AWESOME SERVER, attentive staff (including bar staff) First time here and definetly won't be our last... As far as food quality, it was good and quantity (getting what you pay for) and portions... We were satisfied... Again good food, better service, and all around great atmosphere...

It's cold, dark, and the furniture is falling apart. The food is adequate but pretty standard - nothing remarkable. During a recent visit, we were asked if wanted a bread tray and then our server forgot to bring it. The 6oz sirloin was supposed to be medium rare but was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Yet, when cut it didn't bleed at all. This means the meat was previously frozen and old. Again, quite a disappointment.

I am TOTALLY going out of my comfort zone here by not only putting on Yelp but also giving a good review on Yelp, a friggin chain. Alright, until someone tells me that the steaks are made from poor performing race horses, I will say the cuts of meat are lean and that is great. There are so many size choices and that is also great (this girl is good w the small $10 6 oz cut if I ate a decent breakfast and lunch :) Service was even good, too! OH! And they have an $8 top shelf Classic Martini -- unheard of!!! Check it!

The wings and other appetizers are always fantastic. However, I would NOT suggest ordering a steak. Ever. I've ordered steaks here numerous times and they never arrive at the table cooked to the doneness I've requested. The quality of their meat is also... questionable. I ordered a filet yesterday and was extremely disappointed. Tough, stringy, loaded with gristle -- but it wasn't overcooked (it was medium-rare). Very confusing. If you're in the mood for a great steak, save your money and spend it somewhere else.

Everything was great @ the Greenfield location. Rachel is the best waitress ever! She made several recommendations and they were all great. Just wish she would have told us to save room for dessert.

My wife and I received an Outback Gift Card and hadn't been to one since they had the now closed Fox Point location. That was more than seven or more years ago. We had just two weeks to use it and decided to go Saturday despite the snow storm and freezing cold. Don't call us desperate, this was Feb. 9th, just returned from LA. Pulling up into its large parking lot it appeared the weather had not kept a large loyal following away. Entering the spacy restaurant, it appeared they were short staffed with only 2/3 of the seating area open. After a 12 minute wait, we were seated and sure enough, had to wait a few more minutes to get our server and a few more minutes to order. After that all seemed to fall into place except having to ask for our check. I ordered the 6 oz. Sirloin steak ($9.99) and my wife the Tilapia ($11.99) specials. Both were enjoyable but nothing out of the ordinary. Somethings just seemed to be missing to want to bring us back. This included the inconsistent service and delays we experienced. Would we comeback without a Gift Card? Only if we were in the area and you could guarantee excellent service.

I took a friend to Out Back for her birthday. She had a hair in her drink. While we were waiting after 20 minutes I asked if they still served bread. We waited for our food for 25 minutes and then it wasn't all there. They had to make the fries and one lobster tail and bring it out separately. All of this while trying to talk while an interrogation style light is hanging at eye level between us. The next time we go OUT to eat, we won't go BACK there!

Wait up ...what! You said what now? I said ... that yes one employee and one of the managers were chilling in the bar eating and yes...they were using inappropriate language (they did whisper but dude, I was like three stools away from you). So, who cares right? I really don't but thought it was important to share so let's talk about the food & service. First, as you probably guessed I sat at the bar and the bar tender was on point with service and drinks. No problems what -so- ever. The hostess greeted me when I came in and pointed me toward the bar so no complaints there either. I ordered a Sam Adams, salad, steak, shrimp, and potato...also got the bread. So, pretty much I take away 2 stars for an ok steak (not the best cut as my fellow yelpers have stated), salad, shrimp were both ok and so was the potato...not great in any way but A-Ok as I rated above. Decent spot for lunch and dinner.

WORST Outback EVER !. You would think that for the high prices they charge you'd get decent food and respectable service. Think again. Horrible Food: Ordered the petite filet and it was the worst cut of meat I've ever been served. I sent it back and the manager came out and apologized admitting there was a lot (try half) of fat on it. If you know a piece of meat is that bad WHY would you even serve it to your customers??? Horrible Service: The waitress cut my wife off and asked me what I wanted before my wife was even done ordering. While I was ordering she was looking around the room and not even listening. Never bothered to bring silverware. I had to go get it off another table. There are a lot better, not to mention cheaper, places to go around Milwaukee.

We had a party of 20 people for my birthday. My wife reserved the party table for 5:45, didn't get to sit down until 6:15, and then had our group split up into four tables. They have one big area, but one family of four that didn't want to leave, and they didn't have a plan B. I felt so bad for my wife that had this night planned ruined. Some of my family didn't care for the food, and the staff of two that was set to work the party table was running all over the place. The group as a whole said they were pretty upset and wouldn't come back. The management didn't offer anything for the mix up, which I think would have gone a long ways. But not even a sorry for the splitting up into four tables. Very disappointing. Would not go back.

First, it is a chain corporate restaurant... you have to look at it from that lense before you get all snobby about it. That being said, the service was great and the food came fast. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The cuts were good and it was a fun environment. I go here frequently with my boss and the big booths make it nice to have some room to sit after a long day of work. For a chain restaurant of it's notoriety, it is a great example of why those places are so popular.

We came here to use a gift card my boyfriend received a while ago. We were here on a rainy, dreary Sunday evening so I think it was busier than usual, but our wait wasn't too long. We sat at the bar and were promptly waited on by the bartender. He was the only one there, but you could see he was doing his best to keep up. Shortly we were paged for our table. I went to get our table while my boyfriend settled up the bar tab. I was almost immediately greeted by my waiter, who mentioned he would be with us momentarily. After stopping to make sure we were OK with our drinks (we had them from the bar), he gave us a few minutes and we placed our order. And then we waited...and waited...and waited for my boyfriend's salad (didn't know salad took so long). Finally it came, then shortly after he finished, so did our entrees. That's where the service took a nose dive. After dropping off our entrees, there was no offer to get us another drink (as we sat there with empty glasses). It wasn't until halfway through our meal that he came back to see how everything was going, at which time we mentioned we wanted another drink. My boyfriend eats faster than me as when his plate was done, our waiter came to collect this empty plate and asked if we wanted and dessert. Ummm I'm still working on my dinner, so I wasn't even ready yet. Then when I was done, he came with the bill, collected our breadboard and empty glasses, and still, my plate sat, waiting to be carried away. Food was good, about what you would expect at a mid-priced chain restaurant. Nothing I would go out of my way for. Overall, it was the service that has turned me off. Very inconsistent and really, there are some service basics that were sorely lacking. Like I mentioned, this isn't a place I would go out of my way for and probably won't be back for quite a while.

My husband and I had dinner at Outback tonight and it was very good. We had the Wed. night special, 6oz. sirloin, potato and salad/soup and cheesecake dessert for 11.99 ea. We both thought our meals were great. I opted for broccoli instead of soup or salad, my husband enjoyed his baked potato soup. We both had medium rare steak and garlic mashed potatoes. The cheesecake was perfect. Joe topped off his meal with a good bloody Mary and I had water with lemon. Our server Justin was polite, friendly and attentive. The noise level was low and comfortable so we were able to converse with each other without yelling over music and background noise. This was our first experience with Outback and we'd both definitely go back!

Our history at this Outback was good, but that is what it is now, history. On our latest visit, our courses were served out of order, and after saying something to the server, he offered to take the course back up, and let it sit while the other course arrived. Our soup was barely lukewarm, and our entree was greatly reduced in size and quality from the same order on our last visit. Service was slow and inattentive. We sat with empty drinks and no bread for 15 minutes. We still like Outback, but will try the Brookfield location next time.

Yep. I went here. I did. Don't you mock me. Went with the fam, as my father had received some gifts cards. The wife and I arrived early and sat at the bar to wait. I looked over the drink menu with disgust, wanting to punch the person and/or group who came up with drink names like the Wallaby Darned. To my surprise, they had a martini on the menu. I mean, it was vodka, so I guess not a 'real' martini for you purists, but hey...it had less than 45 ingredients, unlike the other martinis so I was good with that. And it was only about 6 dollars, so score. The bartender wasn't very happy. He had this look about him that said, "I can't believe I work in a place that is still coasting on the residual popularity of Australia made famous by Crocodile Dundee in 1986." The family arrived and we settled into our big-ass booth. While looking over the menu, I realized that it had been about 10 years since I had eaten at an Outback. All I had remembered from the food was that it was like a salt bomb. But I figured that if there were gift cards involved, I might as well have a steak. So I opted for the 10 oz New York strip, medium, with the horseradish crust. We also ordered a shame flower...er, I mean a Bloomin' Onion. Despite my best effort to not like these types of chains, there's something about the feeling that comes from the mix of self-loathing and elation as you stuff your maw with fried oniony tidbits. When the cursed thing arrives at the table, it turns into a feeding frenzy that makes us all look like Mogwai eating the leftover chicken in that scene from Gremlins. Then the salads came. They were like salads you get at a fast food establishment. Their sole purpose in the meal is to give you a chance to delude yourself that you're being healthy. Because as we all know, that 6 oz salad smothered in ranch is going to negate all the calories and fat from your shame flower and your steak of sadness. At least we can dream, right? The steak arrived and looked alright. I cut into it and it was overcooked, but it didn't matter. I wasn't about to send it back. The horseradish crust was more like a mush. It had the consistency of porridge and was glopped onto the middle of the steak and appeared to have been placed into a broiler for a whopping 60 seconds or so. No biggie, I thought. My plan was just to eat it and appreciate it for being a steak. Turned out that it was probably one of the poorest cuts of meat I have ever eaten. Even those times where I bought a NY strip of questionable quality on clearance at a less-than-reputable grocer amounted to a better cut. This steak had tendons crisscrossing through it. Every bite had one. And while I don't mind fat, because you can at least chew through it, these things were like eating those clear rubber hair ties. Rather than breaking down after a few chews, they just got caught in your teeth. I finished as much as I could, but didn't finish after it became too ridiculous to even try. I sat there looking at my plate, feeling sorry for myself. The restaurant's stupid jingle of "Out-Back Stoyk-Hows" running through my head over and over. I just wanted to go home. 1 star for the cheap martini. 1 star for the shame flower. That's all I can give ya there.

Being born and raised in the islands, I think I can safely designate myself as a sushi connoisseur. I've searched high and low for sushi as fresh and good for value as one can enjoy in Hawaii, to no avail -- save for the ahi tuna appetizer that I had the pleasure of enjoying for my birthday at this establishment a couple of weeks ago. To be safe, I always preface my order with the server that I was born and raised in the islands and have seached high and low for sushi as fresh and good for values as one can enjoy in Hawaii - LOL - and our server was brave enough to say, "Yes, their ahi tuna is as good as I can get back home!" He speaketh the truth! The ahi tuna tasted as fresh as if it were caught, cleaned and seared within the hour!!!! The rest of my birthday dinner progressed at a comfortable pace, with great attention to detail. Our server even took the time to show my son how to cut his ribs! Fast forward to this evening, I am 4 glasses into their Aussie house merlot which is their beverage promo through 6 p.m. enjoying another equally superb and fresh tasting ahi tuna appetizer -- I had to come back and try it again to insure that it wasn't a fluke! IT ISN'T A FLUKE! You have got to come by and try their ahi tuna app! And then stay for dinner! Tonite I enjoyed one of their new entrees, filet with a wild mushroom sauce, garlic mash and steamed vegetables - YUM! Outback Steakhouse - Greenfield - is a restaurant that I/my family usually chose for special occasions, but with the increasingly limited choices of places to dine of great service and good value, I have now made it a choice to dine at on a weekly basis. And on the occasion that you have to wait for a table, IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!

Came here for lunch a couple times. Better than most options in the area. Steak always came out the temp requested (Is this seriously a lost art?), and service was usually good, not great, but good enough for lunch. Price is reasonable for type of food.

Yeah, this is a chain, but as chains go, its above average. Decent steaks, well prepared, at pretty cheap prices. If you are looking for fancy or expensive, this isn't it. If you want super prime steaks, you won't find it here. But if you want a good steak dinner for under $20, this is the spot.

Very good! Dined here last night with 4 others. Service was very good, as was everyone's food. I had the 8oz filet (why not, I wasn't paying) and it was excellent. Ordered it medium and it came out just perfect. I can see why they have been praised by Zagats for their steaks. The blue cheese and pecan chopped salad was also great as a starter. I tried some of Mookie's ribs and they were great, tender and delicious. The baked french onion was fine but not spectacular. Amazingly, we had room for dessert too. I had cheesecake, which was $3.29. Not an expensive dessert but not a big portion either. I remember in the past they had a much bigger slice of cheesecake served with chocolate sauce. It cost more but I wish they'd bring that back! We would love to come back soon, but it's a bit more than we usually spend when eating out and undeniably not the healthiest food out there (but those Aussie cheese fries are so damn good). Thanks again to Mookie for treating us!

Outback can be great. In the past I would have given OB a 5-star, and it's a stretch to go with 4 stars. I used to go weekly, and had the Ribeye that just kicked. I switched to the Port Filet (fish), blackened ribeye, and a couple huge pasta dishes. It looks like the most of those are off the menu - yikes. I enjoyed the Fosters Lager, a big meal, some shrimp appetizers, and Key lime desert. Wow, what a meal. Another treat was a sweet potato side with butter, and brown sugar - oooo llaaa laaa. But for reasons outside OB's control, the steaks just aren't what they were, even when compared to 18 months ago. It's hard to get good meat for a couple reasons, not limited to international demand for good USA beef. So that is why you see so many sirloin steaks on other restaurants menus - even OB advertises it's sirloin offerings so much. Outback is still a place you get a good steak - prepared well, and lot's of good sides, and beer to go with - it just comes with the risk that it may not be good. Due to that risk (1 out 3 or so steaks) being poor, I just don't go any more. Amazing that I would still rate it a four stars.
