Jersey Mike’s Subs

Very flavorful hot and cold subs, I really like the chicken Philly sub and especially in the cold turkey sub, it's excellent! You don't find a lot of places that will actually slice the meat and the cheese as they're making your sub. Everything in and on the sandwich was very fresh.
Omg. First time here and I was excited to see all the fresh options. Sometimes when you go to a sub shop, you get old tired lettuce and sad looking topping. Well, I can honestly say, their topping were really fresh. I ordered the club sub "Mike's Way" which is with lettuce, vinegar, onions and oil. Had it to go and yes, when I got back to the office. It was a little soggy on one end but, salvageable. Good flavor and the meats did shine thru. I would eat there again and try the hot subs. Recommend by me.
Awesome Sandwiches & Super-Friendly Staff!!! We met the owner when we were there, and were given some coupons for next time. We'll definitely be back. Their employees are the nicest ever, the owner definitely sets the tone as he is very friendly and the entire staff follows suit. We were greeted when we walked in and everyone was all smiles, not fake either, just genuine nice people. Two people asked how our meal was, who does that in a sandwich shop? Jersey Mike's sure does! Also, I am super picky with my sandwiches yet mine was perfect. (I know, I know, you wouldn't think someone could mess up a sandwich, but it has happened to me before, at a different chain. No mayo means no mayo, please don't expect me to eat a sub just because you scraped off the mayo that you accidentally put on my bread). 5 Star Subs & 5 Star Service!

Just visited for the first time today based off the other yelp reviews. I was cynical at first, but both my husband and I agree that this place is one of the best places we've had froyo at in the Milwaukee area. I recommend the salted pretzel. He had the tropical sorbet and the pink lemonade sorbet. He had mango toppings and said they were very fresh. They even had salt as a topping! Glad we stopped!
This is a place where you can enjoy some delicious frozen yogurt and play games at your table. It makes you feel like a kid again and it is reasonably priced at 48 cents per ounce. They have a nice selection of different flavors and more toppings than 1 would know what to do with.
This yogurt place wasn't the best in the visual environment, as the walls were brightly painted but mostly blank. The seating was pretty basic, but there were certain nice things like the yogurt cups in pretty polka dot designs, tiny sample cups, and multiple colored spoon options. The frozen yogurt itself was better than Yo Mommas,Orange leaf, and cherryberry. It had about 10 flavors. And had amazing texture, the machines were easy to use and had plently of yogurt in them. The topping bar was stocked but there were stands that needed scoops that caused a mess. There were a ton of syrups to put on top,and all tasted great. The prices were typical, and we spent 13$ on just two because of how good it was!! The service was ok, we got welcomed and were offered a stamp card - I will come at least 9 times more to get a free 10 oz of yogurt!

OMFG. Start with a delicious face-burger! With cheese! In fact, have a double! Fries are great here too as are the crispy onion rings! Nothing better than a root beer AND chocolate malt to wash it all down. Oh, then there's dessert. There's some Flavor of the Day's I absolutely hate, but to each his own...90% ROCK! My favorites are the holiday and festival-themed creations. I'd eat here EVERYDAY breakfast, lunch and dinner...but I prefer not to be the size of a whale...smallish hippo, yes...whale, no.
The first time I went to Kopp's, it was a 35-minute detour after a Woodman's beer run in Kenosha. After having tried it, I now insist on a Kopp's stop any time I come within 30 minutes of the state of Wisconsin. The custard is just phenomenal. Every scoop is a scoop of creamy sugary buttery awesome. The grill food is really great too, like the cheesy jumbo burgers, the Buffalo chicken sandwich (just about the only food on which I'll eat blue cheese), and the onion rings (omg the onion rings, always perfect how do they do it?). The space reminds me, perhaps, of a temple and meditation garden, which is fitting considering that if there were ever a place to worship at the altar of custard, this is it.
I ordered a 10 pack of Custard to be shipped to my home in Southern California. I picked 10 different flavors. Wow! I had some friends over and we REALLY enjoyed this delicious experience! Caramel cashew and the german apple streusel were my favorites, but all of them were really good. They ship it very effectively. 2 day is fine and it showed up still frozen solid. Just a masterful product. Although the shipping cost was about as much as the custard, this was well worth it and a real treat. Go for it!

Goldcoast Subs

4263 W Layton Ave
Greenfield, 53220
Reviews:
These subs are unique from other subs thanks to the generously large French bread they are made on and the delightfully uniformly diced tomatoes and onions that are tossed in their herbed oil. The girl behind the counter is always extremely friendly and accommodating. The only drawbacks here are the outdated, mismatched decor and seating in the dining area and when you place larger orders, for example 6 subs, the cook in the back requires a longer amount of time than you would expect to have your order ready. (They operate with one person in the back and one person in the front.) All in all, it's a great place to stop for a lunch sub and kettle chips.
Best subs in Milwaukee. I grew up going to their old location on 27th across the street from Toys R Us. I love this location because it's so close to me. The turkey gobbler is my favorite. One thing to know, in order not to make a mess, do not remove the sub from the bag! Hold it in the bag, peeling back the bag as you eat it. It's really the only way to eat a Goldcoast sub. Subs are ready quickly, staff is friendly, and the quality is always good.
Yummmmmmmmmm this is my boyfriends favorite sub shop. So glad he introduced it to me. It's a small place and huge sandwiches. I must say it was a little too salty for me but still good enough for 5stars especially because they love their mayo like I do! I'll be back to try something different to test the salt level again ;)

Qdoba Mexican Grill

5075 S 76 St
Greenfield, 53220
Reviews:
Wow. I am shocked by the great reviews. Put a Chipotle next to Qdoba, I'm going to Chipotle. This review is based off of my steak burrito. The quality of the ingredients are mediocre compared to that of Chipotle. Now I would definitely choose Qdoba over any other fast food joint, because I do believe that they're fresh for the most part. But the quality and flavor seem to be lacking. The steak had hardly any good flavor and they definitely skimp. The rest of the ingredients are plentiful though. Maybe I'm just already bias because I love Chipotle so much, but I feel like it's not hard to nail a burrito and this just missed the mark. The beef?! Yuck! Looks like Taco Bell. Everything else seemed pretty decent. They definitely have a lot more options, so if that's what you like, go here. I like my burritos simple. Also apparently the brown rice is white rice mixed with some sort of brown sauce. So for those of you who think you're choosing a healthier option? You're not. I only know this because we saw the guy mixing it. The girl next to me asked him what he was putting into it. He was like, "I don't know." And she said "yeah, no I'm not eating that." She got the white rice instead. Whatevs. The place is clean and well stocked. Service was super friendly and I quite enjoyed my brownie. Meh that's all I got. Definitely go here instead of McD's or BK, etc. But over Chipotle?! Never. Lucky for them there isn't one around...
Fresh food, friendly staff, sunny location and clean. I'm a big fan of this location, with their huge sunny interior. Qdoba is a good choice for family outings and it's or closeness to Southridge makes it super convenient.
I love the food here. I come here a lot for lunch. The price is worth it for the how much food you pay. Additionally, the flavor is consistent to all the Qdoba!

The Brass Tap

7808 W Layton Ave
Greenfield, 53220
Reviews:
I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. The Brass Tap is located in a strip mall - and it seems kind of odd at first. But when you walk in - it has that hometown corner bar feel (with that fresh new feeling). It was a little confusing as to where to go to get seated. But we figured it out. We just walked to the back of the bar and found a server. Easy enough. There was a short wait, so we decided to partake in one of the 80(ish?) taps available!!! An off duty bartender was helpful enough to find us a menu and give his suggestion. Very kind indeed. The food menu is Appetizer heavy. Decent items here! Pretzels, nachos, spinach dip, hummus, wings.. all your pub food favorites. We got the buffalo chicken dip. Really cheesy, creamy and delicious. For dinner I opted for the Chicken BLT wrap with french fries. Solid! It met my expectations! I didn't mention the beer list. The one thing I noticed was that they really had a great selection of IPAs. I would say compared to the other offerings - there were more IPAs available. I'm not sure how often they'll rotate stuff out, but I was very pleased with the selection available. Overall - I'm a fan! Lots of TVs, friendly service, delicious pub food and a great beer selection!
I went to The Brass Tap to watch the Badger game and the NCAA selection for March Madness. Parking is somewhat of a pain. They share the parking lot with all the stores in the strip mall. We originally had to park on the other side of the strip mall. Your typical sports bar look with bench/table seating along the back wall and a mix of regular tables and bar tops to fill the space. The bar is a huge L shaped. Has plenty of beers on tap. Too many to list here in the review. But I was plenty satisfied with the 5 beers I had. You can also ask for a sample before buying a full beer to make sure you like it. My group was not disappointed. Flat screens and a projection line the walls and would be a great place to watch any sporting event. They have a good bar food menu as well. I had the wing platter - $11.95 - comes with 8 wings (I had the spicy garlic), fries, and slaw. The wings were cooked nicely and was not over sauced. Had a great balance of spice and heat. I would come here for the wings alone. Overall a good experience. The only negative was the waitress we had. She didn't care to be there and barely checked on us. Plus she made a mistake on my friend's food order. She entered a flat bread instead of a bacon cheese burger. She did make up for it by taking $5 off the bill for it tho but the rest of the group was done with meal when he just got his burger. One little annoyance was when we first order MKE Brewing Company's Ogii, it came in a pint glass. All orders after that came in a Stella type glass. My guess is to lessen the beer intake since they are so high in alcohol content. I will definitely be back...maybe during March Madness.
The next candidate on the chain craft beer restaurants, Brass Tap has a nice beer selection all the way around. The bartender was nice, and as we went through the menu he tried helping us find a beer style we like. Although most people who go there may require help, we definitely do not and after a few minutes of talking to us I think he figured that out :) We had some awesome beers and some nice small plate meals. I love the concept of these places but the location makes it hard for parking. If I am in the area I would stop here again for food and beers.

Reviews:
The service here was Excellant. I had 2 $5 bonus cards, and they split my bill so I could use both cards on the same visit. The food was fresh, the waitress was pleasant, and of course the pie was Delicious. Definitely recommend.
Bakers Square has, in my opinion, some of the best chain restaurant food for basic American food - but kicked up a notch with newer twists on old favorites. I absolutely love their tomato basil soup, grown-up grilled cheese and pot roast... and pies and salads. The restaurant staff are, for the most part, quite pleasant. Hosts/hostesses are quick to greet you. The manager routinely makes stops to see how things are going for patrons, which is appreciated. The servers tend to be very pleasant, but the only complaint I have is that they sometimes do not stop to see how things are after receiving the food. I do think that it's not a good sign when a patron has to flag down a server for his/her needs when the restaurant is not that busy and serving staff can be seen conversing with each other (or not at all!). On Wednesdays, they have the free pie day so that would be an understandable situation then, but not on other days.
My husband and I stopped here for lunch on Saturday. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentative and very peppy. The food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time and was nice and hot as well. The food tasted pretty good but I wouldn't say it surpased any expectations.

Starbucks

Kopp's Center,4741 S 76th St
Greenfield, 53220
Reviews:
I'm only reviewing because I hope it benefits the business and for those looking for space to work/study. The new remodel allows for more bench seating or large table style seating instead of small tables with 2-4 chairs. Much more space inside and to plug in your lap top. I have to say, I don't know if they are busy a lot or have new employees but the drinks are a bit inconsistent and the staff are ok. Bathroom has never had toilet paper in it the 3 times I've been in so I think it would behoove them to get a bigger dispenser have an assignment for BR duty. :) Like I said, nice remodel would be a nice place to do work and study if you need wifi quick while out. Just bring your own toilet paper! Oh yes and be clear with your drink order, I think most are new employees. (we were all new once, I guess)
Duh, it's Starbucks. It's like every other Starbucks, but a little more roomy inside. Still I generally roll with the peppermint white mocha. Nothing to complain about here other than the typical overpriced coffee, but, hey, we still spend zillions there every year, so there must be something to it.
Despite what the review says, this location is in Greenfield, not necessarily Milwaukee. This is my favorite Starbucks to visit if I want to get some work done on my laptop. Plenty of seating, plenty of power outlets, fast service. The coffee is consistent and excellent as usual.
