Decided to use a Groupon (shocker, I know!) and try out a new place in the area for some carry out. Pizza and garlic bread were done right on time. The place itself was very cute on the inside. Didn't realize you could dine in. While waiting (I arrived a few minutes early), I noticed the fresh cannoli in the fridge. Couldn't pass that up!!! They also sold fresh cheesecake squares and big chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The pizza was very good. I'm not one that likes a lot of sauce so for me, it was just right!! The garlic bread was dripping!! Yummmmy!!

I want to love B Bros Pizza, and perhaps one day I will. The crust is outstanding. Yes, the crust is so good. However, there have been some issues with toppings. It seems that canned veggies are the default. Canned mushrooms and jalapenos will top your 'za unless you specifically request fresh veggies. They have a few tables to dine in and the service is pretty good overall. It's a great option for affordable but better than chain pizza.

Balistreri is blocks away from our new casa and has become our new go to. I LOVE their double dough! Here's why they get 3 stars (partly my fault). When you ask for mushrooms-unless you specify you want fresh mushrooms, they will give you canned mushrooms. A couple of times they have asked me which I want, but mostly they don't which means I forget. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get rid of the canned mushrooms. It's ridiculous. Who actually prefers canned mushrooms over fresh mushrooms? Last night we ordered the deep dish. I get it, this ain't Chicago-BUT there are places in Milwaukee that can do justice to deep dish (ie Pizzeria Scotty). This deep dish was more like a triple dough. There was nothing deep dish about it, almost comical and ONCE AGAIN came with canned mushrooms (AGHH! I know, partly my fault). Back to the deep dish- 1. like I mentioned earlier, it was hardly deep. 2. there was no chunky tomato sauce- in fact, it was all cheese and hardly any tomato sauce. If you can't make a proper deep dish-take it off the menu. I really like their pizza when it's done right but they are going to have to take the canned mushrooms and deep dish off their menu before I can give them a higher rating.

Got a groupon for their pizza; never had it before. I would say the pizza was average; huge crust (not a fan), the sauce was somewhat plain, the sausage was good. I'd rate this a 5 out of 10.

I used to love, love, love Balistreri Bros when they were located in Hales Corners and a full restaurant but now, I'm not so sure. New location and new menu. Love the location and love the decor. Staff is very friendly and the place is relaxed and comfortable with fresh flowers on the tables. (all 4 of them) Because the menu is different I wasn't able to order my old favorite so we ordered something close. They offer 12" flatbreads or 14" or 16" New York style or Deep dish pizzas. This is where I had a problem. I guess I do not like New York style pizza because I do not like that my pizza was a sloppy mess and you could not pick it up until it turned cool and the cheese congealed. Other than that, good flavor. Not as many toppings as in the past. Garlic bread is very very weak and turns hard quickly. How sad, I was so excited to see them open again but now, not so much. I will return to try something else and will update my review at that time.
