I'm dumbfounded by how many people rave about the pizza here. It's just not good at all, as far as pizza goes. The crust is more like a tortilla, the sauce was flavorless and the cheese was barely there. The restaurant itself is loud and, in my opinion, not inviting. About the only thing they have going for them is the unlimited toppings. This may be why people rave about it, because they only taste the toppings and not the pizza itself.

Satisfies us every time! Super fresh ingredients, and so much variety. Best prices available for pizza. Ryan and Susie do a great job. You could eat here a few times a week and not get bored, plus keep the health-o-meter happy!

Just love this place. Tasty, this pizza and vibrant owner. Any toppings you want for the same price. Strawberry tart was delicious. Big thumbs up.

I love MOD. So many different ways to make a pizza, and they always turn out awesome. This place has a decent selection of beer. Careful it gets packed with customers for dinner.

What can I say? This place is great. I love it here. My husband and I come at least every couple of weeks. They pizza toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The salads are spot on as well - The pizza salad is one of my favorite things ever. Best of both worlds - PIZZA & SALAD!! Yum, yum! The staff is super nice as well. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review is sometimes the crust gets a little more burnt than my preference. I know - I know, this is bound to happen with wood-fired right? I am not a dummy - I just like it better the days my crust doesn't get the extra burn on it.

AWESOME FOOD AND PEOPLE!!! Gormet style pizzas custom ordered and fast. The staff treats everyone with respect like GOLD! Pizza and salads are good and you can order as many toppings as you would like. A+++

I'm a huge fan of MOD pizza. When I'm in the mood for a nice thin crust pizza they have just that! Their topping selections are great and they are quick. I also enjoy their salad; it's a great deal for what you get. If you are looking for pizza but don't want the heavy breading, this is the way to go. The location is great and easy to get to. Parking can be a little time consuming depending on the time of day and how many folks are packed in the movie theater next door. Overall, nice big lot even if you have to walk a little ways.

What a fabulous, fabulous place!!! We got a coupon in the mail to buy one, get one free, so who could resist such a deal? We were NOT disappointed!!!!! All the reviews below already discussed the great pizzas, the multitude of fresh toppings to choose from, and the super price ($6.88 each pie). You should also know that they will gladly do a half-and-half pizza (no problem!), and make amazing salads, too. And to top it off, the guys who work here are THE NICEST folks I've met working anywhere, hands down. The guy making the pizzas was super patient with me as I mulled all the options (and then had to call hubby to figure out what he'd want), and when he heard it was our first time there, he threw in garlic bread sticks. Want extra ranch on the side for your two kids? No problem! Want extra anchovies? No problem! The folks here ensured our continuing patronage, along with the great food.

I'm from Brooklyn, so I'm pretty snobby about pizza. There is a way that I understand how pizza should taste, and pretty much everyplace outside of NYC always fails me. Especially pizza places that put NY style, or even worse Brooklyn-style, in their name: Just don't do that, you can't win that comparison. My snobbery means that the big chains (papa johns, pizza hut, godfathers, etc.) do not even qualify as pizza in my eyes. I find giant pieces of bread with big globs of tasteless cheese and sauce to be ... unsatisfactory. But MOD has really impressed me. I think that the quality of the ingredients and the thin-ness of the pie is really great for the price. I like the meat-lovers variety, i think meatballs, sausage and pepperoni. I have actually never been in their shop, my husband has always gone there to pick it up for us. It's not really NY style, I don't even like using that phrase as I previously mentioned, but it is in how thin the dough is, and its tasty ingredients. It has the spirit of NY pizza in that way (though you ain't gonna find no personal pizzas in NYC, unless you consider eating a whole pie by yourself a personal pizza). The super-cheapness don't hurt neither.

Cool concept, great pizza. I am a fan... Nice to see actual teenagers working instead of burnt out angry adults that are mad they don't get paid fifteen dollars an hour. Nice change of pace all around. Kudos.

MOD Pizza has high quality pizza for a low budget price. We got the Caspian and a Hawaiian pizza as well as some chocolate knots. When one of our pizzas was accidentally dropped as it was being transferred out of the oven, they remade it right away and offered us a choice of a free sweet treat (we tried the blueberry milkshake and it was so yummy!!). Great service. We will be coming back.

Great flat-bread pizzas. But MAKE YOUR OWN. Don't go with their menu pizzas (you'll likely be disappointed). Oh... and their "Mod DingDongs"?... they're Hostess. Good or bad, they should advertise them as much... not just unbox them onto a platter and advertise them as their own (that is uncool, ... and I'm pretty sure illegal... regardless if Hostess is liquidating). Seriously, they ARE Hostess DingDongs, you can see dozens of boxes of them stacked in the kitchen. Anyways... at least you know their PIZZAS aren't repackaged products from someone else. And the pizzas ARE worth it...

So many choices I think i was rushed in my decision. I went with #8 not sure what it was but it ended up being just cheese and some mushrooms... I think if they had arugula and prosciutto I would have to come back many times. Love that combination along with the feta and olives. Might try it one more time.

Had a great time with good food and service that went the extra mile for a sports team party 2-10-2015. Definitely recommend.

This is a pretty solid pizza place. The prices are good, the staff is friendly and the pizza is pretty good. If you are in the mood for a personal sized thin crust that you can customize however you want this is the route.

I noticed this placed open here in Redmond a while ago but I was in no rush to try it out. I received a coupon in the mail for "buy 1 for $6.88, get one free" so we thought we'd try it out. Looking at the price I figured they were for miniature pizzas. Nope, I was wrong :) All of their pies are $6.88 and they are a decent size, thin crust. You can add any additional toppings and it's still $6.88. What a deal! All in all, awesome pizza joint. The interior is nice too..clean, big, modern. The pizza was delicious. I'm a fan of the thin crust and the fact that you can do anything to your toppings means you'll pretty much get the pizza you love. And they price! You just can't beat that price. Will definitely be going to this pizza joint more often now.

This place is pretty damn cool, its a big open room to the street, just order your pie, grab a beer and chill on the patio until its ready. Very good pizza, some unusual choices but some are really good. They carry some beers many people probably forgot about too....I grabbed a Red Stripe and enjoyed the sun. I'll be back for sure.

MOD Pizza is a fast casual pizza chain that Seattle is lucky to call home. This review was written in 2012 and I imagine by 2017 there will be MODs all over the country. They offer consistently excellent pizzas for $6.88. Their pizza is so good, I don't even touch delivery, frozen, or most restaurant pizza. Pros: 1. Price. Price. Price. At $6.88 - there isn't a better pizza I have ever had for the price 2. Consistent quality. I have eaten at the Bellevue and Lynnwood locations about 20 times combined and this one, just like them, delivers consistent quality. They do this with a simplified menu and a great oven. 3. Speed. Even when they are slammed, MOD is quick. For this visit in Redmond, by the time I finished paying at the cash register, my pizza was out of the oven and being cut up. 4. Friendly staff. They do a good job of hiring quality people and I have never had a bad experience. The Redmond staff was especially friendly on this visit. 5. Fun, casual atmosphere. My wife and I eat here after workouts, on a Sunday afternoon, or whenever. This is not a high-end experience, which is great. Perfect for families. Cons: 1. Their wine selection is disappointing. They had a really bad red and white when we went in. I expect more since they are local and we have Woodinville in our backyard. 2. They could use some more desserts. They feature ding dongs wrapped in tin foil (totally hipster) and pizzas scraps covered in cinnamon (twisties I believe they call them) 3. They don't have a huge amount of variety - so if you don't want pizza - probably not the place for you. :) Overall - they nailed it yet again. MOD Pizza is truly one of the most exciting restaurants to hit the scene in some time. It is just pizza - but it is high quality, fast, delicious and cheap!

Love the pizza, but I also come for their house made lemonade! Mixed with their iced tea, makes a perfect Arnold Palmer.

Really good pizza, friendly service. Lots of good ingredients and no extra charge for extra toppings is great! Place is cool and family-friendly. Reasonable prices. We'll visit again !

So happy that this place is finally open! Great pizza, fun atmosphere, fast and priced perfectly for families. Opening week on any place can be a little rough, so anyone who was frustrated by a few missteps during their incredibly busy times...give them another chance. Kids love this place and I do to. Great to have you in Redmond MOD!!! I'm a fan of the Jasper.

An update to my review. Admittedly I was rather peeved when I found the wire bristle thus the one star originally. I was also rather surprised when someone from MOD corporate contacted me on Yelp apologizing for the mishap. I was assured that the grill cleaning equipment was replaced. At no time did my contact person suggest it was my fault, nor was there any excuse making. I even acknowledged that my review was rather harsh. And it was in comparison to my other reviews. However, the contact stated that I had the right to be upset about it and again, no excuse making. Now here are my feelings on MOD: I know several people whom are MOD lovers/ like superfans. These people know their perfect topping combo, ect... ect... and absolutely love MOD. I won't go that far, but I will say I think the concept is really cool. The pizza is very good, and fast. I like that I can mix up toppings, or keep it simple. There is something about their BBQ sauce that I can't resist. But I've tried one with red sauce and it was good as well. Out of the several times I've had MOD my favorite so far is the chicken, BBQ, with blue cheese. Next time I'm going to make an attempt at some odd mash up of topping because a friend of mine swears by the: BBQ sauce, pep, pineapple, blue cheese, mozz, onion, something or other that sounds weird to me but he says it's his favorite. But again, that is the "cool" factor I like about MOD. I really enjoy the concept... and I really enjoy the pizza.

I love their pizza! Super thin crust and fresh!!! During summers is our favorite thing to do, sitting outside of the restaurant.

Wow! I am very impressed with this place and the service. I placed an online order for 12 pizzas and requested that they write the names of each person on the boxes. I arrived 10 mins before my scheduled pick up time and was very pleased to see all the pizzas were made, they just had to pop them in the fire. I waited and watched while they multi-tasked making my large order and took the orders of walk-in customers. They did an excellent job. I offered to write names on the boxes but the girl said she appreciated my offer but she had it under control. She didn't even looked phased. I don't know how she kept all the pizzas straight. The gentleman who I am assuming was the manager was interested in what I thought and after I told him I had never had it before he told me to call or come back and tell him. He seemed genuinely interested. I hope he will see post and pass the feedback to his crew that they were fantastic! The pizza was really yummy too! Tasted like fresh homemade pizza. The only feedback I would give which isn't directed to them but to the company is that it would be nice to be able to tip via online. Maybe they dont accept tips. I dont believe I saw anything at their register to drop money into. Not that I had any cash on me to do so.

5/5, this place is great. We called in a to go order, I got a gluten free (I'm allergic to Wheat), and my fiancee got a regular crust pizza. They goofed and accidentally made both pizzas gluten free. My fiancee asked if she could still get a regular and they went ahead, made it, and gave us the pizza they had made in error. Since the order took longer than expected, the manager made us a couple milkshakes. Great customer service!

I usually like thicker pizza crusts but this cracker-like crust at Mod makes the pizza a little lighter -no food baby after eating a small pizza here! It also lets the flavors of toppings shine. Love the interesting topping combos and the fact they have mini pizzas which are perfect for lunch. Plus you can add whatever you want at no extra charge. The people are super friendly. They will greet you as soon as you open he door and will say good bye when you leave. It's super loud from the music. I appreciate the free wifi. The caramel shake is yummy! Cons: Depending on who makes it, they can be pretty skimpy with the toppings. Once, I added mushrooms and literally got one slice of mushroom on each slice of my mini piazza. They get my order wrong kind of often but they make a new one quickly and are very apologetic. Don't know if it's a training issue of they can't hear me over the loud music!

  • Carolyn H.

Great and friendly service. The pizzas had quality ingredients and toppings. They are the perfect size for a meal for one or even two people. The salads are generously portioned with just as many topping options as the pizza. Why four stars instead of five? The crust and sauce were a bit of a downfall. That set aside everything was excellent. I will absolutely be back.

This place quickly became one of my new favorite pizza places in Redmond over the summer. Nothing made an afternoon like splitting one of their creative creations at one of their outdoor tables with a tasty glass of wine. Prices were absolutely reasonable and the cracker thin crust is amazing. The staff has always been completely welcoming and friendly, and even on their busiest days I've never failed to get my pizza in less than ten minutes.

  • john t.

The pizza was OK , better than other major chains , Crust is a little to crispy for me and burnt on the edges. Toppings are spare , but over all I enjoyed the Pizza and I was hungry. Why only 3 stars? Well I first ordered my Pizza to eat there , but after waiting for it to be cooked for a few minutes I could not bare to sit there any longer because the music was blaring loud and they were playing some God Awefull Grunge music. Yuck. I couldn't even think straight or hear what my daughter was trying to say. TURN THE MUSIC DOWN PLEASE,, THIS IS NOT A NIGHT CLUB!

Excellent pizzas....great prices. I like thin crust and fixed price, no matter how many toppings you request. Service was quick too. Afterwards...stop next door to Zoe Yogurt...for a great dessert!

Really enjoyed the pizza I had today. I had requested the BBQ chicken pizza, but received the one with chicken and hot sauce. I ate two slices before I realized I got the wrong pizza, but by that point I didn't care.

Zach let's get over our case notes for MOD Pizza. As we have established across many reviews, we are pizza snobs, right Zach? And while MOD Pizza does not hit the nail on the head for our preferred style, it does offer a decent service. Decent personal pizza, good price. All pizzas (at least, from this location) are $6.88. That's a not a bad deal, right Zach? Choose toppings to pile on, it goes into the fire, and away it goes. The assembly resembles that of a typical taco chain, ala Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. The pizza itself is not bad, nor is it thick. The New York style fan in me is glad for this choice - no overbearance of dough. Also offered are salads and "knots", which served as a surprise, right Zach? We have not encountered Garlic Knots in Seattle of any competence. Sadly, MOD's knots are not what you would expect if you hail from the east coast. They are cheap, so at least judge for yourself. MOD Pizza, while not the pinnacle of the food, is on the better side of the dividing line. Don't discount MOD Pizza, if you're looking for a personal pizza.

Pretty cool and easy online ordering and our pizzas were packed with toppings and were ready for pick up right when we got there. Yum yum!

  • Jackie M.

This pizza place is great! It's such a good idea for "fast food pizza," although I have to admit my favorite thing here is the Cesar Salad. The dressing is SO delicious! I highly recommend it! The pizzas are good and the garlic knots are amazing! You can pretty much choose any combination of ingredients and the pizzas are "personal" so you can get something completely different from everyone else you go with. My son loves this place too and it's great to find a place where he will actually eat dinner :) This is a newer location, and I'm so glad it came to Redmond :)

    (5)
  • Denni S.

OK, this place is great for a couple of reasons: 1) Best place for pizza in Redmond, in my humble opinion. :) 2) My husband and I have different favorite toppings and this allows us to get exactly what we want. That means anchovies for me! 3) Great price 4) Fast 5) It tastes good! 6) great place for lunch with co-workers My favorite thing to do is get take out and then head to the Malt and Vine for beers. The only thing I have had other than pizza are the garlic knots. Meh. They're ok.

    (4)
  • GlutenFree C.

They get pizzas closer to right more often than most other pizza places, especially the big chains. They have a bit of trouble with working clean though so since I can't have their pizze (no gluten free option) I often can't get a salad for myself while getting a pizza for my wife - ingredients mixed back and forth such that I can't be confident I won't be eating cow's milk cheese or wheat. They subscribe to the infuriating current fad of "we will blast you with music while you are in our business". They also generally fail to cut the pizza in extra slices as requested but... BUT...just by usually getting the right toppings on the pizza and usually cooking it correctly they are superior to most other pizza places in Redmond or even the whole area (nowhere close to Zaw quality though!) For the price they are a great deal despite any shortcomings.

    (3)
  • Eric W.

I went for the first time to this place and the staff was very helpful. The atmosphere was good too. Also, I love how you can add multiple pizza toppings for the same price. The pizza tasted very fresh and the prices were good. The caramel special milkshake I had was great here, but didn't enjoy the garlic knots. I found a new favorite pizza place. :)

  • Jen P.

Went in mod today, was my second time there, although the pizza is pretty decent the service is not! I was there with a large party, 4 adults and 4 kids. The adults shared a pitcher of beer and when we got to the end if it we discovered a dirty penny in the bottom! When I took it up to the manager he practically suggested that we put the penny in there. Told me it couldn't have been them because they store all their pitchers and glasses upside down. Of course it had to be us... I always do things like that! It couldn't have a been the cashier that wasn't paying any attention and thought it was strange when I asked for the receipt, then gave me someone else's! I think he thought I was trying to get free beer, but I wasn't looking for a refund, I was just pointing it out because it is absolutely DISGUSTING! If the pitchers are dirty, how clean is the rest of the place? And should a manager really argue with a customer? In the end he gave me two cards for 2 free pizzas, but I don't think I will be going back there, I can get better pizza, better service and penny free beer from a dozen other places!

  • Marcin L.

Great quality for the money. The staff was very helpful and had NO bad reactions on putting pineapple pesto and gorgonzola together on a meat lovers pizza. Yummy.Z The front of the store could use some traction mats as when it was wet, it was like almost like an ice skate rink at the front of the store, you had to hold onto something.

    (4)
  • Miranda C.

Pizza was okay, but I feel like food safety is an issue. The toppings were all mixed together at the pizza-making station (pieces of meat in the cheese and veggies, etc), and they didn't clean the table where we sat. There was literally food ALL over the floor, and my friend almost tripped on some spilled sauce. Gross.

    (2)
  • Tony P.

The service is fast and friendly. Great place to grab a quick bite!

    (5)
  • Terry P.

Simple, quick, thin crust pizzas for a set price, with any toppings you want. The crew seems friendly, they are pretty fast, and the pizzas are good. You can make it the way you want it (made on demand is the name) so overall that's a nice place for a bite. This is not a romantic place - feels more like a fast-food joint, but the location is great next to the movies theater.

Love this place the food is great and the wait staff is awesome. BJs Brewhouse management come over here to find out how to make pizza and run a pizza joint

MOD is perfect for a quick cheap lunch. Same price no matter whether you chose one of their combinations or make up your own. I personally wouldn't recommend it for anything besides a weekday lunch hour but for exactly that I do recommend.

  • Kristin C.

I am glad to see MOD thriving and expanding, they really are offering a unique product. Not Pizza, you can get pizza anywhere. But a quick, personal sized, one price for unlimited toppings pizza? Yeah, they have that niche market covered, and they do it well. Its not the best pizza in any category. But for $7 its tasty and it fills you up. Lots of toppings to choose from. They are a bit light on the toppings, but I imagine if you ask for extra of something, they could do it for you. My boyfriend was disappointed with how little pepperoni was on his pizza. I was super impressed with their pesto sauce though. I love Pesto Pizzas! It's nice to see them expanding though, so soon enough, I imagine every neighborhood will have their own. Its nice for a quick, cheap meal. Tastier and healthier than the National Chains.

Great prices, great topics, fast service. Can't ask for more. Far better than overpriced Zeeks

  • Justin B.

The pizza was flavorful, the service was solid. Furniture and atmosphere comfortable, good music, very relaxed feeling. Great place to go after the movies or the bar. Only real downside: not the greatest value. Decent ingredients and all that, but that's not justifying the $7+ price. You're paying for the convenience. Portions are significantly smaller than the other fast food chains have encouraged my appetite to expect. Unfortunately. It's a good place to go when you want a fast treat, and the ability to customize to your heart's content is wonderful. I'll be back sooner or later.

I have wanted to try this restaurant ever since I read the yelp reviews. It did not disappoint. We went last Friday night. Despite the restaurant being packed, we did not have to wait long for a table or our food. The pizza is thin crust with fresh ingredients The quality is on par with pagliacci's without the price tag. The bonus was the salad. Simple mixed green salad with amazing marinated red pepper. My cafe salad was instaneously transformed to gourmet quality. My toddler ate all her mini pizza in record time! This restaurant will become one of our staple go-to restaurants.

I'll start with the obvious..... AMAZING PIZZA!!! Seriously good pie!! What makes MOD even better than just good food is Ian, Ryan, Tor and Andre. High levels of wit and culinary expertise mixed in with smiles and great personalities. I have visited a total of 1 time and I'm sold. Thanks for the best first visit EVER!!! Cheers to the first of many visits.... until next time.... GO HAWKS!!!!

This place has everything! Pizzas are delicious, nice thin crunchy crust and just the appropriate size. Unbelievable selection of ingredients. Make your own salad selection. Good beer choices.Prices are more than reasonable. Most of all, the staff is SO friendly and willing to help you decide or willing to wait while you do.

I've been to MOD Pizza twice in the last two weeks. The first time they messed up my order and I had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for a replacement pizza. It was pretty busy, so not too unexpected. Most recently there was no problem with the order. My biggest problem with MOD Pizza is the scarcity of toppings. On my most recent pizza there was barely any toppings (mushrooms which should be cheap to put many) and large portions of the pizza were missing cheese. It was not very crowded at the restaurant so that didn't explain it. Next time I may ask them to double every topping just to see if it's better. In the future I'll probably visit Zeek's or Tutta Bella if I'm looking for good pizza close to Redmond.

This place just opened up and have been giving out free samples. My husband checked it out last weekend w/positive comments and so I decided to have lunch there today and give it a go. I was very impressed!! Unique concept, seemingly all the toppings you want for the same price, personal pizzas, very quickly prepared, and most importantly, excellent thin crust pizza. Great selection of toppings too. I think this place is set above from the standard fare in the area, or at least other pizza places we've tried. Fun vibe as well with a full selection of beer/wine. It would be great for lunch or evening. Also, the size and attractive price point make it possible to get your own pizza or share a few pies between you. There's also a smaller option which would be good for lighter eaters or a child. We'll definitely be back!

    (5)
  • Manuel T.

Absolutely love this place. The pizzas are fresh and have a thin crisp crust so you don't fill on bread, instead you get to taste a wide variety of great toppings. It's also a plus that the pizzas are $6.88 regardless of how many ingredients you put in there (Since I published the review the pizzas have gone up to just over 7 dollars, still amazing). The staff is energetic and friendly. Go eat there, I think you'll enjoy it.

  • Sue D.

Terrific product and they have my very favorite -- salad on top of pizza. My only complaint is that the counter folks always seem confused when I order it -- last time I pointed to the big separate sign and it's spot on the menu -- to prove I wasn't making it up. There's always one person who gets it then they bring over someone and don't tell him what's happening. It ends up being really really good.

Very, very good wood fired pizza. And you can get literally whatever you want on it for a flat fee, which is pretty unheard of. Their 11" standard pizza is less than $8, which I think is a killer deal. Both times I've been, I've had their Canadian Bacon and Pineapple, which I really enjoyed. I do have to dock a star, because I don't enjoy swatting fleas while I eat, and there were several flying around the last time I was there. Overall, 4/5.

Good food. Great customer service. It's quick and add beer to your pizza, the perfect weekend or weekday lunch with friends Cheers

So, while I love pizza I am giving MOD a 4 star because of their salads! Found the pizza okay. Crust was a bit disappointing, but plenty of toppings to create the pizza you want. Salad is awesome! Get to select from a few basic lettuce types and then add as many different toppings as you want. The mini salad (under $5) is huge and really filling. Great options for toppings so I can come here a few times a week and feel like I am getting a different meal. Love that the chain gives chance to people that other folks pass over. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Supporting them means I get great food and get to support a business that is doing great things!

Four stars. Hands down. It is quick, efficient and delicious. The toppings are fresh, everything is made in front of you. The pizza base is thin and crispy. Eat it while it's hot though - once cold the pizza is a lot less fun.

I had dinner here with my family and the food was great I liked the man with the red white and blue pants he was so nice and helpful he got us through quickly and felt not rushed, I feel happy I came.

This place rocks. First off, it's amazing to be able to customize your pizza, for not a huge price ($8 bucks) and get WHATEVER toppings you want. Their thin crust is delicious and they have a really wide variety of toppings. They also have sodas and a few speciality lemonades. There is an outside area which is great in the summertime. I would definitely come here in a smaller group though (less than 8) since the tables aren't super big. I'm editing this review down to 4 stars because although the pizza is amazing, the service isn't always stellar. Often the staff seem uninterested and it can take a long time to pay if it's not staffed well. Also, the way that they call out the pizzas could use some work. It feels very disjointed. That being said, the pizza is amazing and I'll continue to come in time and time again.

I love the concept. And their pizza never disappoints. I also like the fact that they have a small size that is great for portion control!

I often come here after movies at the Regal. Not very busy, but evenings can create lines. I have to say that the MOD pizza is the best pizza in Redmond. Pros: * Yummy, thin crust pizza with so many toppings! * Fresh, tasty lemonade and iced teas. * Reasonable prices! * Fast service. Cons: * Nothing, really. * Be aware that the biggest size is two crusts on top of each other!

I really like MOD Pizza - I like the business model and they make tasty pizza. We stopped in here before a movie at Bella Botega. It was pretty crowded but we found a table fairly quickly. I like that I can custom order my pizza for the same price as the "speciality" pizzas. I get exactly what I want. The toppings are sufficient as well - no bare spots on the pizza. When eating with friends/family the individual pizza are great - everyone gets what they want. The place is fairly loud - but I think that's on purpose. They don't need people sitting around for hours chatting - get in, get your pizza, eat, get out. The same philosophy that spawned the original Hard Rock Cafe. I'm fine that its a bit loud. If I want quiet and intimate I will go elsewhere. The drink service area could be kept cleaner and they could do a better job of busing and wiping tables - our table was very sticky and I had to go ask for a towel to wipe it up. Hint to staff: When guests have to ask for towels to wipe the table it is time to get out to the seating area and clean up.

I think the food is great, but service is arguable. I didn't get the pizzas, but I did get their salads. And I think their ingredients taste fresh and otherwise, healthy. So there is really nothing wrong with their food. If you want a tasty pizza or salad with full customizability, MOD is the way to go. But with that, means you have to have solid employees. I know, who wants to work for a pizza joint sometimes? How do you get excited if that's your job? Well that's a question for management to deal with. The servers here are so machine-like and brisk. Take my interaction for example, while making my deluxe salad: "Oh could you put some parmesan cheese on it?" "I already put it on" "..." If one were a little more friendly, I think one would also add, "oh, is that not enough? I could add more" In addition, during lunch hour, It's usually busy so I tend to just go with an already-prepared item, so I can get my food faster. As I was ordering my salad, the servers were moving slowly like they 1) didn't know what the ingredients were (and I that point I think management should probably place the "recipes" somewhere where they could see it without having to obviously look at the giant menu on the wall for their own reference and 2) expecting me to add more items so before they would even begin to put ingredients in they were acting super slowly while doing it, even though I made it clear I only wanted the basic. Honestly it peeves me that management is a little off in this MOD pizza, otherwise it'd be 4-5 stars.

Same concept as Subway sandwich you order and they make it fresh in front of you.The best thing is you can add as many ingredient to your pizza. I ordered the Dillon James but add bacon and chorizo. My thin crust pizza was delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean and well decorated. I will go back again for sure.

Awesome fast food option with the family. 1) Everyone can get their own individual pizza made to order. No fighting! 2) Unlimited ingredients. Crazy! 3) Salads are good too 4) Super quick service 5) Wine, beer, and great lemonades 6) On a summer day they open up all the doors/front of the restaurant 7) Next to Bella Bottega movie theater 8) Calexico pizza! (if you like super spicy)

There are so many people copying Chipotle's successful method of serving higher quality ingredients quickly. This has been applied in the world of pizza with the gold standard being 800 Degrees Napolatana in L.A. MOD has taken a similar, but less glamorous approach, on high quality pizza quickly. The menu offers a variety of pre-designed pizzas that can be customized at no additional cost. However, while you might not be paying for the additional toppings you are getting dough that is cracker thin that has been machine rolled. They say Made On Demand (MOD) but that is not the case for the basis of the pizza. I thought that it was a little dry and packed into my teeth like a saltine does. The topping were of good quality, but I would not say the best I have had. I was left wanting for more of artisan topping than standard NYC pizza fare. All in all if you are looking for a pizza fix at a low cost, this place will do. If you know what double zero flour is, you might be disappointed. What did I learn today? When the girl calls my name to pick up my pizza, it sounds like my mom calling me when I was in trouble.

We were looking for lunch in Redmond and found this on Yelp. It was a super cool place to hang out in the sun. Basically it's a one price pizza. You can have as many toppings as you want! They offer gluten free crusts for $2 more. It only took a few minutes for our order and all the staff was super friendly. We really enjoyed the pizza. The garlic knots were tasty as well and cheap. The winner here was the lemonade flavors!!! We will be back to try more pizzas.

I've been to this MOD Pizza twice now and both times were great! I love that you can build your own pizza and everyone can get what they want. The last time we were there they screwed up my husband's pizza and took care of it right away when they realized what happened. I'm definitely a fan!

Amazingly fast. You pay one price and select as many and as much.... toppings as you'd like. the fastest most amazing tasting thin crust pizza I've had in years. I highly recommend this place!

I had only been to the Seattle Center location before and this location was just as good. Lived up to every expectation I had in mind and more. People were friendly, beer was cold and Zoë Yogurt is next door! Great little date night combo!

I came here twice with my coworkers! I absolutely love it! After the first time, I thought I was going to get a mini pizza. But, I still got the normal size the 2nd time. It just won't go wrong with pizza especially you are able to customize it! Well... I am a greedy person! I seriously don't remember what I got both time. Those two times I was here, I pretty much over loaded the toppings on my pizza. Therefore, it took longer time for me to get mine! But, it's ok because I know what I wanted... it's a good thing, right? :P Most importantly, they have Sriracha sauce. You can also put it on your pizza! How good is that?

The staff at this location are excellent. When they made a mistake on our orders, they made us new pizzas with no charge and even got us a drink while we waited. We are loyal to this MOD and will keep coming back!!

First time visit during a busy Friday evening. The concept is individualized pizza like you would order at Subway. You pick your own toppings and the size of the pizza. They also offer gluten free crusts. Virtually self serve for drinks and you pick up your order at the counter. The pizza was much better than I had anticipated. I ordered the Calexico. Not as spicy so I added Sriracha sauce on top. The kids ordered their own pizza. They enjoyed picking their own toppings. Salads are also available. Will come back again!

Excellent custom fire oven pizza with gluten free base! They take care not to cross contaminate by pulling toppings from separate containers for those with celiac. Much appreciated! And, importantly, the gluten free pizza base is crisp and just the right consistency. I'm becoming a regular.

Good but not great pizza. Been here a number of times, usually before going to a movie right next door. Line always seems to take longer than it should. Sometimes it is the order takers. Sometimes it is cashier. Takes about ten minutes to get your pizza. Quality ranges from great to just OK. Often over done.

    (3)
  • Tiffany E.

Cheap and good, hence the 5 stars. I love making my own pizza and extra bacon is probably my go to. With just one price you can fill up your pizza toppings however you like. Plus, it's fast too unlike other fine dining places where you have to wait 20-40 minutes before you get to smell your pizza. I love how they leave the boxes there for you to take your leftover pizzas to go.

  • Erica M.

I seriously love this place. This is how pizza is supposed to be :) Don't change! Ever! Haha I think they could work on customer service. The first time I went the guys were super nice and helpful, the rest of my visits were average. But that's okay as long as the pizza quality stays the same I'll be back...again, and again.

I love that I can customize and make a pizza and/or salad exactly how I want it. This location is consistently busy but food is good! There are vegan options including Daiya cheese.

I have been to MOD many times and always found it a great value and quick service. Well I just learned of their new personalized pizza building process (ala Subway, Chipotle) where they walk you down the ingredients line to "personalize" your pizza. While this may make it seem like an improvement in product results it comes at the cost of efficiency! Before even if there were large crowds the orders were taken fairly quickly and the orders came up in less than 10-15 minutes. Now it takes much longer to even place your order so plan to spend more time getting your MOD pizza or go during non peak hours. I will think twice before coming to MOD for a "quick" meal. It's too bad that MOD has to now compete with sit down places like Flying Saucer for the amount of time it takes to get your "personalized" pizza. [3 Stars] -- Update -- I recently revisited MOD at the invitation of some friends and was anticipating the slow agonizing ordering process. However I was happy to see they have gone back to their winning formula and order taking efficiency. Now that I know I won't be standing in line just to place my order I will be a regular patron again. [4 Stars]

Fresh ingredients, very friendly service, and who doesn't love a good cinnamon knot! MOD is fast, fresh and inexpensive! I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of their pizzas but my favorite is the Dillon James or the Lucy Sunshine depending on my mood for red sauce. Yes, I heart MOD.

The pizza is fine, we'll be back for sure. My 3 stars are sparingly granted, I'm a pizza and food snob. I will recommend this place to others. Heading to the movies with kids? Perfect! Fast, friendly, efficient and the pizza is better than most anything else on the Eastside. Choices for non-pizza folks are limited but they try. Wine and beer are on tap: and yep, that means the wine isn't great. But quaffable and hey, you weren't looking for fine dining.

MOD Pizza has been on a bit of tear in opening up new locations in the Seattle area in the last few years. The location in Redmond was opened last year around this time. It is located at Bella Bottega near Sushiland. A Regal Cinemas megaplex is just a few yards away so it is in a very convenient spot. Plus plenty of parking to boot. This location has the feel of a big garage. Ambiance inside feels very industrial. The menu here consists of 10 pizzas and several salads. You can also build your own pizza or salad if you don't like the existing options. I recalled when looking at the Yelp pics about MOD Pizza that they offer a pizza salad which I found interesting. It is basically a salad served on top of their pizza crust. I decided to give this a try. Though the website says you have a choice of four toppings, I was able to pick a few more additional choices. The toppings are then mixed with your choice of greens (I chose mixed) and served on top of the pizza crust once it has been baked. Had a tasty pizza salad concoction of mixed greens, grilled chicken, artichokes, bacon, kalamata olives, red peppers and gorgonzola cheese on top of a pesto covered pizza crust. It tasted great and everything was fresh. So why the three stars? Well, I think the ordering process is a bit too complicated like ordering a burger at Five Guys. And I only think the pizza crust is okay. It is very cracker/flatbread like. I think pizza should have a bread crust. That said, MOD Pizza is a nice spot if you are looking for a gourmet quick bite in Redmond. A much better option then getting a fast food burger nearby.

Absolutely love MOD and this one maintained the standard. Good pizza and a great lunch date with my son. Kids love the fact they can create any pizza they want. My favorite - mad dog, sub white sauce add bacon, olives, mushroom.

This place used to be a solid 4-star "go to" place. They changed something. Now it's a place to hang out in line for 20 minutes until you order. Then wait another 15 to get your food. You might as well order pizza. Fix your system guys. It used to be better.

  • HeeBee G.

This was my first visit to MOD and I have to admit, they have something unique going on here. I enjoyed the industrial surroundings and the assembly line pizza build. They also have a really cool, modern version of the brick pizza oven. Your pizza is baked at high temperatures and comes out in about 4 minutes. This crust is more flatbread than pizza. That's okay; I like a chewy crust. I chose the Caspian and added some bacon to it. It is fun to add toppings without adding to your final bill. If you are into finding the "ultimate" pizza you may be a little disappointed. If you want a light lunch or dinner this is the perfect spot. The toppings are fresh and tasty and the bread is baked to a crisp. For a custom made pizza, you can't beat the price.

We stood in line for good 25-30 minutes. It would have been understandable if that line was long, but there only were 4 people in front of us. We ordered 2 pizzas, one from the menu and one custom, and 2 salads. They charged us for 4 items, but there were no salads for some reason when the food was ready. When we realized that the salads were not coming we went up to let them know. The girl that was taking our order and making our pizza was visibly dissatisfied and annoyed with us. But we got our salads eventually and were excited to eat! :) After all so many reviews were good! The pizza was soggy!!! And in addition to that nothing special..... Not a good combination. I won't be visiting that place again, but I wish them well!

  • Stephen R.

Love the pizza here. It's delicious and the customization is greatly appreciated. However, when I order ahead for a pizza at 7, that doesn't mean only start making it at 7:02 after I've arrived and make me wait; it means that I want to pick it up at 7, or at least have it almost be ready when I get there. That is a consistent problem at this MOD location that I haven't had at other locations. It's annoying

    (3)
  • Sara K.

First off I want to say the food is always good. But this has to do with the service. I just want to mention I emailed the feedback link on their website and the management ignored it so I am writing on Yelp. The guy helping me in the restaurant a few weeks back was sucking on a lollypop as he was helping me which is really gross and a food violation. I couldn't understand him between the lollypop in his mouth and the loud music. I asked for a small salad and pizza to go. There was no one in front of me and no one in back of me. I had one person doing the salad and another doing the pizza at each end of the counter so I had to run back and forth since they were asking me questions at the very same time. When I got my pizza, the girl shoved it at me and walked away, ignoring my questions and more interested in talking to the other employees. This is really to bad since the food is so good, but management should know about this kind of stuff. Judging by how they don't care about feedback, it doesn't sound like they care.

Fast and great pizza... love the concept... but the manager there is a bit aggressive and defensive about how they don't take reservation for a large party because they are short of staff and business is too good and that would never happen... despite when I told him that my wife had spoken to someone earlier at the store and was told that it was okay to reserve for a large kids party. To be fair, everything turned out okay since it wasn't busy 3pm in the afternoon

Loved it! The taste:price ratio is very high in this one. For reference, we ordered the Jasper and the Tristan.

  • Kimberly K.

They raised their prices, but for a personal-sized pizza with whatever you want on it, it's still a great deal. I personally get the Dillon James (tomato, basil) with extra tomato, extra basil, add pepperoncinis and spicy sausage. Heaven in a cardboard box! I don't know who came up with the idea of milkshakes + pizza, but it is a dangerous concept. The manager came by and gave us a free raspberry milkshake on one occasion, and while we told ourselves we wouldn't drink it, drink it we did... until it was all gone. How was that milkshake so delicious? Who even knew you could have a raspberry milkshake? And there was an encore when they had pumpkin pie flavor in the fall! Ridiculously good. Not fair, Mod Pizza. So, anyway. Maybe pretend they don't have milkshakes. The pizzas are darn solid for the price, the staff are genuinely friendly and outgoing, and if you're on a healthy kick, find a friend to split a pizza with and get a tasty salad with dressing on the side (or, you know, just get a salad.) It's like a pizza, but with lettuce! Win/win.

1st time eating here. Love the pizza and variety of of options. A bit loud so it was hard to talk with friends. Would recommend and looking forward to eating here again.

Great pizza with lots of variety (build your own or choose one of their excellent suggestions); fast service (perfect pre-movie eats); and cheap. Build-your-own salads, even on TOP of a pizza crust if desired. I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but MOD is just darn good.

  • Amy K.

I don't consider myself a big fan of thin-crust pizza, but I love MOD! You can choose from one of their pizzas, or create your own from a wide variety of ingredients. They're always friendly and cheerful, and always nice to my three year old. The shakes are really good, too, and they feature a different flavor every month. (The blueberry shakes was DEE-LISH!)

  • Loren H.

So far I've eaten at MOD in Redmond twice and twice I've gotten a delicious thin crust pizza, something that seems to be a bit rare in our wheat obsessed nation. But while the pizza here is good, the service rounds this place out to be a killer establishment. My first time the dude taking my order walked me through their process, their ingredients, and a bit of their philosophy. I got their special after it all and really enjoyed it. When I returned a couple of days later with my wife who has a gluten intolerance (not celiacs), they really turned it up a notch. While taking her pizza from the oven, the oven overlord pulled it too soon and draw a hole into the bottom. He immediately called us over and apologized. We weren't particularly bothered, we cook and know this stuff happens, and while we said not to worry about it it he informed us that they already had a new one in the oven. They gave us both without question or charge and both were delicious! All in all, their dedication to getting us our pies at their standard was unbelievable for a place of that price point and with how good they are to boot, I can't help but recommend this place :)

It was our first time there and were not sure how to order . But Mckenzie explained it to us and even remembered our name when we went to order the second time as we did not order enough the first time . Pizza was amazing ! We definitely go back :-)

Very good- Cheap, quick & tasty. They have a decently large menu to choose from but you can also add to those or make your own- at no extra charge!! The ingredients are always fresh & there is lots to choose from. Also they serve beer on tap & wine- bonus!
