Hard to beat Five Guys burgers and fries! The cheese is always perfectly melted and creamy, while the bacon is always crispy! This particular location has cheerful and friendly employees. Sometimes my fries are lukewarm...but the taste is on point so it's not much of a risk. Knocked a star for the inconsistent food temperature (fries mostly). Five stars when they fix that!

4 Stars because it's alright food. And today when I came in. The service was awesome.

Overpriced, overly greasy. The air is stiff with grease. It is not appetizing. I can't get over how greasy everything is there. The tables, the chairs, the floors, the counters. I understand burgers are greasy but I feel like the employees don't care for the cleanliness of their store. Red Robin is much better and right around the corner from there. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Ok, so I'm completely torn now. I found out where my stellar crew went: they changed shifts! So, here's what I have to say about this place...it depends on the shift crew you encounter. It's maybe 3.5 stars for the crew without Luis. The crew run by Luis is absolutely 5-star. I really think that in the case of this store, it's all about the dynamics of the teams working there. Right now, the amazingly stellar crew with the exceptional service and burgers is on the daytime shift. The night shift is decent enough, barring a couple of bad experiences, but just not stand-out like the other crew. The crew with Luis attached needs to be the par for all 5 Guys restaurants. It really makes all the difference.

Five Guys is the Jimmy John's of burgers. Fast, simple, tasty. Completely adequate in every way!

  • Frank G.

damn Damn DAMN! This is a Woohoo! As good as it gets! fo sho you know. What should I start off with? It's Five Guy's, as immortalized by Daym Drops in his vlog about the burgers here and how awesome they are. He was not lying at all. This place is just wayyyy too good to pass up. Whether you want a quick burger to-go or just to sit down and eat and chill with the people's this place is the good place to go for the good times. AMBIENCE The pictures do the place justice. The typical red and white checkered pattern walls are a staple in every store that you visit. As you enter you hear the bustle, hustle of the workers. THEN, it hits you. THE SMELL OF GODS. That delicious, scrumptious, godly, Five Guys burger smell. When it hits, combined with the fresh cut fries smell, you know you are in for a good treat and the goodliness. Anything far from a typical burger joint, this is a near religious experience. Take it in for what it is, and accept. FOOD It's Burgers and Fries.........but like on steroids. This place is the real deal. It is not a joke matter. In a DIY style, you choose from either a single-patty or double-patty style of burger, ranging from just a normal hamburger to a bacon cheeseburger. Then you add in all the condiments that you want. FOR FREE (condiments)!! If you're really unsure of what you want, just say, "all". ** ARE YOU GLUTEN-FREE? THEY HAVE AN OPTION FOR LETTUCE WRAPPED BURGERS! Talk about catering to those individual needs! ** Fries are amazing. I recommend if you are going just by yourself you should skip breakfast. The amount of fries they give you is absolutely RIDONCULOUS. They don't skimp out and you get your money's worth EZ. If you don't like spicy seasoning then don't get the Cajun Fries option, just go with the normal fries. Either way, they are both amazing and just too nummy num num in mah belly. In addition to burgers and fries, you also get another snack choice for FREE. PEANUTS. Just simply walk up to the box containing the peanuts and get a mini container thing whatever and scoop up them peanuts and proceed to enjoy the nuts in your mouth. Drink selection is a lot. But don't worry, just get Cherry Coke. CONCLUSIONS Just go there and get the food. Don't think. Go. Get Money + Get Paid! GAO OUT.

All the respect to The Pumphouse (and NOT Lunchbox Laboratory) , but this the best burger in Bellevue, like many other cities across the country. If they had a bar it would be perfect, but for burgers, fries, and the very underrated hot dogs, they are pickles, jalapenos, and A-1 sauce over the top of the rest.

I ate here for the first time in November. Its absolute delectable. I don't live in this area, but a friend insisted he knew a great place to get a great burger. Oh Yah! And the fries oh my. I was stuffed when I left there. But its all good. If you have never been, make a point of it. This was an extremely clean restaurant. Thank you Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Yummy! I did a search and found I have one down the street from me. That could be trouble.

Absolutely love this place and it's affiliates. I'm gluten free and the lettuce wrapped cheeseburger is my go to meal at least once a week. Their ingredients are fresh and delicious and their service is always upbeat and friendly. Oh! The fries are to die for! Perfect and plentiful. :)

First impression: Written commendations from all the newspapers, Zagat type reviews, etcetera EVERYWHERE. As a result, my expectations shot through the roof, to a cloudy perch in the heavens, far away from any real burger that could have possibly made its way to my to-go bag. I expected Zeus's hand to slowly descend from the sky and lower the burger down toward my eye level, and I expected to suddenly know what to do with my life once I bit into the patty. This is not what happened. Okay, so what really went down, in no particular order: The guys working the grill were funny and confident in a way that you get, I suppose, when your restaurant is covered ceiling to floor in glowing reviews as part of the decor. I liked their swaggering friendliness. It was memorable. I also liked their relatively unique ordering style: you determine the kind of burger you want, and all additions are free. You can order everything you possibly can put on there for the same price you would pay for whatever other, not-as-cool kind of burger. I approve of that. It just dawned on me why they have the peanuts there for you to snack on: they take a little more time than your average burger joint and so they don't want you to get so hungry you get pissed off. They quell the bad feels with these peanuts. It is also a sneaky tactic to get people to remember the restaurant. "Hey, you remember the place that had those peanuts you can eat, for free..." I don't have a problem with that. My burger was delicious, juicy, and I definitely see why all those people on the reviews were raving this way and that about this place: the guys here somehow have figured out how to cook bacon in such a way that the pork crunched yet retained its juices perfectly. I'm not gonna lie, the crunch and the mushrooms, duuuude. These people are GENEROUS with fries. I can also see why others rave about these - completely doused with salt and seasonings and flavor and you just keep eating and never want to stop. The American Dream, right here, folks. There are some things that could be better, I have to admit after my own glow about the place. Being spoiled about my burgers, I wish the buns and cheese were of higher quality. The burger's messy as all get out (what do you expect?) and I really needed a moist towelette, but there was no moist towelette. (Ivars had someone go around offering these to people. I don't need to speak further.) The music here was loud and I didn't feel comfortable having a conversation as I would have had to shout it in order to be heard. And also, I sat at the tall table: those chairs felt more like art form than a stable device to sit on. So my verdict? This is an alright restaurant with an alright burger + generous seasoning-doused fries made by people who have some secrets about cooking bacon. No more, no less.

Yummy cheese burger. Juicy meat is better than In and out burger. Recommend to try it!

Went here for the 1st time the other day after my brother constantly telling me about how amazing their burgers are and I have to say it was good but not amazing. The SERVICE however is off the charts AMAZING! I went during a weekday and maybe they just didn't have enough customers but they were super helpful and asked to clean up after us and offered us extra napkins while we were eating. I must say I am impressed for a burger joint. The Cajun fries are delicious and well worth the money especially when you're craving some good fries. The burgers are a little bland for my taste as I was expecting more flavor but overall not bad and pretty good.

I only ate here once at the location, and I thought everything was fine from customizing my burger to actually eating it. All the other times I had burgers from here through my company lunch deliver. Basically, burgers and sandwiches delivered from here are "soggy". It's so soggy it just tastes like I'm eating a bun marinated in sauces with some lukewarm beef patty in between. So no, I don't really like it that much to get delivery order from here. On the plus side, fries are still pretty good and hot dogs are decent thanks to the sausage. But you will definitely feel super fat after eating soggy bun if you are planning to order delivery from here. So in summary it's good to dine-in and not so much to get delivery from Five Guys.

Fast friendly and good tastes great. We moved from California and I am so glad they have five guys in Washington. The food is just as great here as it is down there. It is cool to sit here and see regular patrons come on and get greeted by name. I love the friendly atmosphere!

  • T C.

So disappointed. The burger was good but not delicious. My disappointment was the fries too which is my favorite food with my burger. They were clean and the service was friendly and prompt. I was really expecting a tasty burger and fries and it just wasn't. So sorry for the low review but will come back at a later date to try you again. Hoping it was an off day. Not recommending at this time.

I've visited 5 Guys in multiple locations. Consistent quality, good hot freely made food. At this location, Redmond, WA, Luis L. greeted me at the register. He's over the top, clearly loves his job and was super helpful. The folks at the grill are keeping the food rolling while maintaining a steady stream of banter with each other. They work well together and clearly love what they are doing. The restaurant was clean and well stocked. The food was great, the fries hot, the ingredients on my burger fresh and tasty. 5 Guys is one of my favorite burgers and the Redmond, WA didn't disappoint. As an aside, if you have a peanut allergy, 5 Guys isn't for you. There are bags of peanuts in the seating area, people munching peanuts around you and the fries are cooked in peanut oil.

Worst 5 guys in the area. Poor service every visit. Slow and without leadership. Not like any other 5 guys I've visited. Gave them 5 tries, sorry guys. No more.

My favorite burger place in Redmond. Even better than lunchbox laboratory for food (not ambience). It's a burger joint. You choose the toppings, fries are generous, price is surprisingly inexpensive. The burgers are fries are top notch. On a good day, best burger I've had, but it's not 100% consistent, sometimes it dips to "really good". Ingredients are all fresh, they advertise on their white boards where the potatoes are coming from for the fries. Looses a star because the fancy drink machine can be out of flavors from time to time.

Be prepared for A LOT of food. Maybe my palate is not as refined as some, but I love Five Guys' burgers. You choice of a host of toppings including some different sauces. If you order the fries, plan to share; even the smaller order is large. I suggest the cajun seasoning. The decor is nothing fancy, but it is clean. One complaint would be that they need some shades in the windows; the afternoon sun can be brutal in there!

  • Leah B.

ok... I have to update my review seeing as how I've been to Five Guys in multiple locations many times now. I'm in love. I always get the Little Cheese burger and add green pepper. Holy crap! green pepper on a burger is amazing. I'm soooo glad they have a "little fry" option. They still end up giving you more fries that one human should consume in one sitting, but at least it's cheaper. Keep up the good work!

If you are looking for a quick but delicious burger, you should absolutely try this place. They have a very limited menu (mainly single burgers, double burgers, and hot dogs that you can fully customize), but they know how to get it right. The burgers are very juicy, taste very natural, and get done pretty quickly (maybe 5 minutes). It is a fast food place, but the atmosphere is very similar to a 50s or 60s burger joint. The staff is very friendly and you can grab some free peanuts as you wait for your order to get ready. Great place if you are looking for a delicious burger on the run!

A mediocre burger that is apparently the burger of many other cities. If you order fries get them Cajun style. If you want to save time and not name off all the toppings you want in your burger just say " all the way."

I'm not generally a fan of fast food, but after a great burger at the Kirkland branch a few months ago we decided to try this branch today. They don't compare. Our order was completely messed up -- one out of five in our party got what they ordered. The burgers were good, but not memorable. We won't return here.

I've loved 5 Guys since my days going to school in Virginia. Finding a location on the eastside? Gift from God, no less. Okay, be warned that 5 Guys is not the place for the health-conscious diners. If you want a salad or any semblance of healthy food, don't bother entering the doors. 5 Guys is for those of us who want a good, greasy burger served up how we like it. There are so many toppings options, you shouldn't have any difficulty coming up with a burger that is all your own. I took my little brother here, and he loved it. Pretty sure we'll be back again.

Fantastic grilled cheese with all the toppings you want. Great fries, Cajun or plain, made with freshly cut potatoes. Not healthy but you don't come here for healthy food. Good to munch on peanuts while you wait for food. Fantastic app to order on your smartphone to save some time as well. Good spot even for vegetarians.

So the first time i get home with our burgers, i open em up and go "Oh, I didn't order a double cheeseburger, guy screwed up, maybe thats why it cost 18 bucks for two meals". On the plus side, nope, that was no mistake, that was a regular burger. On the down side, yah it was that pricey, but in the future, i think i would be more than satisfied with a ""small"" cheesburger (had to do multiple quotation marks on that sucker). I seriously don't understand how one person can finish a regular burger and a regular fries all by themselves (except that i did it ... twice). Ok, so i get it, because it's soo yummy you just can't stop shoving it in your mouth. In the future will be getting a small burger and a fries to share. Their portions are like Flinstones sized. The guys (and ladies) who work there are mega friendly, always pick you up after a long ass day at work. Giant free barrels of (pea)nuts to snack on while you wait don't hurt neither. I had forgotten how much i liked peanuts in the shell. Mega props to Marc M., his check in turned me onto this place. I can't go here to often, my body would hate me more than it allready does, but every once in a while ...

Brand new location within walking distance from my work? Of course, I'm going to give it a try even though the couple visits I have had to other locations have left me less than impressed compared to how a lot of people think Five Guys is such an amazing burger experience. One also has to keep in mind that there are people that have the same amount of passion and loyalty to burger places like Dick's and In N Out so I take that for what it is. The burgers here are very good with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and you can add whatever toppings you want free of charge after deciding on which burger you want. The burger selection, also like the other previously mentioned establishments is very limited as they focus on making just burgers and doing it really well. The down fall here, for me anyway, is the lack of other options on the menu with the only side option is the french fries. Yes, they are fresh cut and of a higher quality than most other options around, but generally, I'm not a big fan of french fries and especially when they are the softer and soggier variety that is served up here. The fact that they give you a big bag full of them doesn't make up for that fact they just aren't that good and there isn't another option (curly fries? onion rings?). I will definitely be back for more burgers (and free peanuts!), but there is a place also right nearby where I can get a grilled sourdough bacon cheese burger with a pile of delicious curly fries so Five Guys will always be the lesser of the two options.

I seriously don't buy the hype. Their burgers are okay but nothing to shout about. The ingredients are fresh and you can choose whatever you want on them, but this is not the great burger that I keep hearing people say it is. On the other their web site and online ordering are outstanding. I'm on very low sodium diet and I decided to splurge for lunch. I found from the site's nutritional section that the regular burger only has around 490 milligrams of sodium. One serving of their fries is around 90. That's decent for lunch. Then I ordered pickup online. Took all of 90 seconds and I was told to proceed to the store at my desired time(you can order ahead and specifiy a time) and go right to the pickup counter. Did that and my burger was ready. They don't fire your fries until you get there for freshness so you need to wait a few minutes but I was back at the office with a good burger in less than 15 minutes.

If you are on diet or counting your calories, do not step in here. The burgers and fries are freshly made. You can taste the difference. The fries are huge portion, share the fries.

Its a burger joint that has tons of free toppings and delicious fries... The "little cheeseburger" is a perfect serving size and wonderful. I'm a huge burger fan and I love how close I am to these guys now. Although I do wish that they went a little bit faster in making the burger....its all freshly made when I order it, so can't argue with that. It has always been clean and crisp and the service is fine. Stop by, have a burger. Split the fries.

This burger place was amazing! The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! I would recommend their spicy cajun fries.

This is the worst burger I have ever had. Ever. WHAT'S THE BIG BUZZ?! It's a terrible burger soaked in grease and fries with a side of grease of dipping (AKA the bag) I ate this burger, thought of it as terrible, went home and apparently, the burger hated me too, so it came back up. In the same place it entered. It was that bad. Bye 5 guys... All 5 of you should be in jail.

This is the Boyfran's newest fast food obsession. First time I came here completely unaware of how things went, and ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo, onions, and lettuce. Or something. The thing came with two patties! Didn't see that coming. Ate the whole thing and couldn't stop thinking about how much beef I'd just eaten (still thinking about it.) Next time I got the little cheeseburger, with everything. I told them "everything" before I could finish reading what everything was. Bad idea. "Everything" is too much. It's taking a little while to figure out what works for me, but I'll keep trying. Ingredients are good; free peanuts are great!

At 11 am on a Saturday I finally decided I needed to get my ass out of bed and get some food. I have been avoiding trying this place for years, because I have heard so many mixed opinions. I was pleasantly surprised how good the burger was. No, it's not like In N Out, and anyone who says that should be ashamed of themselves. But, it was pretty good. I like the fact that I can pick and choose what to put on my burger, because I am so picky. Since I was starving when I went here, I got the regular(2 patties) bacon cheese burger with lettuce, mayo, grilled onions, and ketchup. Next time I wouldn't get ketchup though, cuz they put way too much on there, and the bacon didn't really add anything to the burger. It was a pretty good burger. Not life changing. Not the best burger ever. Not so good that I would crave it all the time. But it was good. The fries though? Yah, not so much. They were ok, but quickly turned to gross as they got colder. A regular burger and fries is definitely too much food. Their servings are huge, which justifies the high price. I could eat another burger though sometime in the future. But I can think of at least 3 burger places that I would eat at before going to Five Guys again.

Great burgers, good condiments, get it with what you want on it. The peanuts while you're waiting is a nice touch. Not an In N' Out Burger fix, but a good burger. Each burger has their pros and cons.

    (4)
  • Can C.

Good Burgers. I still think Red Mill might be a little better - but they're cheaper, and pretty much as good as Lunchbox Laboratory. Also good for the peanuts to nibble on while waiting on your order.

  • Max L.

Their system of handling online orders is a piece of shit. If you order online, it will tell you to go straight to the pick up counter. However everyone there is heads down making burgers and assuming everyone standing at pick up counter is waiting for the in store order number to be called. Even if you tell them your name and did an online order, they can forget it in a second. Also you can order drinks online but they don't have any fucking cup ready at the pick up counter and they are always too busy to bring you one. You need to ask them twice or thrice to different people to get everything in your online order. Food is ok but this poor system makes them lose two stars.

  • Justin B.

HELL yeah. This place is great. Service is always friendly and relaxed, dining area is clean and comfortable. Oh and their food is friggin awesome too, and they give you heaps of it. The free peanuts piled here and there are a terrific feature as well, fun to snack on while waiting on your food. Protip: The smallest order of fries can feed 3 people, or 1 very hungry person. I love having to eat my way through the mound of fries in the bag just to reach the other treasures buried there. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the variety of fixn's they offer can't be beat in terms of freshness and flavor. And they're all included in the price! Madness. They can be messy, but hey! If you aren't licking your fingers by the end then you're officially doing it wrong.

Consistently fast and tasty, but it's too loud. It's hard to get a better burger in the area at this price.

Great burgers!!!! Every once in awhile, I love a good, greasy cheese burger and this is the place to go! YUM!!! The original cheese burger does come with 2 patties- my husband didn't know this and took one of them off- but I ate both of mine! :) The fries were good too...they give a VERY generous portion..3 of us shared a regular and didn't finish it. I hate to have to write some negatives, but it's good to know that this place gets VERY noisy and crowded. Also, because of how crowded it is (we had a hard time finding a table on Friday night at 7:45 pm) the floor and tables can be pretty dirty and gross.

Seattle has a decent selection of burger joints. But we had never tried Five Guys before their new location in Bellevue opened up, right Zach? We are more than happy that it did. Five Guys serves up a pile of meat and potatoes with an emphasis on heft. One should note that a normal burger is 2 patties. This certainly threw us for a loop when we thought the order was wrong. But it was very, very right. And the burgers themselves are quality. Five Guys reminds me of In-n-Out (of which we are big fans, right Zach?) in that the menu selection is very limited, but that just means they do their limited options well. Probably a good business choice as well, Zach. I imagine less waste is generated. But that's an aside. To compliment the burgers are the fries, and the fries are quite good. Big, floppy, and legion. They are well done and well priced, but are noe the only offering available. Freely available are copious amounts of peanuts. This isn't something I would have ever expected, but I am glad that they do this. We are a fan, aren't we Zach? A bit funny that this establishment is closeby to a Subway. A poetic way to cater to the masses, if I do say so myself. If only Emily could nail a recipe like this. That "amazon" style is wreaking havoc on my system Zach.

My better half and I decided that we were craving burgers yesterday, so I suggested Five Guys. We were excited to try the new Redmond location and were literally famished when we walked through the door. We both got the bacon cheeseburger and shared a large fry. I know the fries are ranked as one of the most fattening fries you can get from a restaurant, but we were willing to take the risk. Fries were mediocre, at best. Pretty soggy and chewy. We barely even finished half of the cup. Both of our burgers were soggy, which seemed impossible since we saw them assemble them into the wrapper just minutes before we started eating. Maybe a light toast of the bun would have helped eliminate the soggy buns? I will say though, that I really enjoyed the taste of the beef on the burger. Was cooked just right. The employees were also very friendly, which is a plus. With all the posters on the wall and magazine articles suggesting Five Guys as the prime of the prime when it comes to burgers and fries, I expected more from my visit.

Great burgers and great fries. I usually get regular fries that goes with my burger, and the fries are more than enough for 2 people. However, the other night when we were hungry for just fries, we decided to order the large fries, we figured if the calorie posted doubles for the large order, the quantity must be twice as large it really surprised us when the order came because the quantity was definitely smaller than the regular fries, even though they are like $5. I was really disappointed, even pre-filled up 3 ketchup cups to battle the fries but ended up not even using 2... possibilities? either the fries person that night was shy, or they don't give you as much if you don't order a burger with your fries. Moral of the story? DO NOT order LARGE FRIES! Regular fries are more than enough, and you might not get what you hoped for if you order a large one.

Good burger joint. I think it beats some In-N-Out Burgers, Fatburger, etc. out of the water. However, y'know Dick's burger is a champ, and BurgerMaster might be better.

  • Aaron M.

The first time here I figured a couple things out that I will share. They tell you up front that all their burgers are double instead of a single like most places, and that if you want a single get the "lil burger". (Ok marketing gimmick) Really unless you plan on skipping dinner or only eating half the burger just go with the Lil burger. There are is so much oil, grease, and fat in the meal you are about to eat a single will be fine. Go with someone else and just order one order of small fries. It seems they fill the cup, drop it in the bag and then throw another scoop of fries in the bag. The result is you have an insane amount that can easily be shared between two people. The fry seasoning is free so go for it. I am so used to being nickeled and dimed that ordered them plain. As you might have noted there seem to be to main ideas here. 1) Cost and 2) Health. As I sat there looking at the menu in line adding up the cost of a burger with cheese and bacon, small fries, etc the brain calculator had an overflow error. It was going to be like 13 bucks...for a burger and fries. Who cares if your normal burger is a double if you charge the price of a double or a triple. So be prepared for some sticker shock if you go. Secondly they conveniently have the calorie counts on the menu so you can add that up while in line too. The burger with bacon and cheese and fries was like 2000 calories. That is the daily allotment of calories for me so I can eat this one double burger and fries and nothing else all day. Also with the "extra" fries they add I am sure their counts are lowballed. So take all that into advisement...but it was really yummy!

FIVE GUYS use quality beef, bun and other elements which make their burgers so delicious. But the guys working at this location just do NOT know how to put together a burger. I hate it when the sauces are running down from all around the burger before you even start eating it. This is why I am taking out one star. And I am taking out another star because this place is sooooo f*@#ing freezing COLD everytime I go there. I just feels like you are sitting outdoors in cold winter.

Had a good 1/2 lb burger here this evening. Loaded with tomato, onions, mushrooms, lettuce, and anything else we wanted from their list of freebies. A good, solid, homemade tasting hamburger. And the fries (complete with skins) were awesum. The small order is plenty for two or three. Everything came within minutes of our order. They have a good system. And, fill/re-fill your own sodas. Oh, yes. Free roasted peanuts to nibble on while you wait. Simple menu. Clever marketing.

Overall: It's above average but there are two other places on par and probably better IMO. For the price, it's a tad expensive but not bad. Went back twice already and had consistent experiences. Food: Good burger that's fairly customizable which is a big plus. All condiments offered are free and individually selected. Their standard fries are good, though I would personally advise against the seasoned/Cajun fries. Extras: if you don't eat large portions, aim for the smaller size burger since they load you on fries and offer free peanuts.

I love this place, really good burger and the best fries IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! The only problem is that its a bit too pricey

Hot, juicy, fresh, and tasty. That's what these burgers are. And not very expensive, either, due to the simple menu and sparse, industrial decor. We ordered "small" cheeseburgers 'with everything'. Mine was minus pickles, relish, and grilled mushrooms. We both thought the grilled onions were done just right. As were the meat patties. The veggies were nice and fresh. The bun was very light and didn't stand up to the added mess of the grilled mushrooms and condiments. Fries were thick cut and nicely done, somewhere between steak fries and the greasy strings that Dick's serves. Even in a regular order there were lots of them and lots of salt. All-in-all a tasty experience. Dick's might have the edge on price and shake availability. Five Guys gives you topping choices and better fries.

The burger is the run of the mill Five Guys burger. Nothing about the burger stood out at this location. I've always felt Five Guys had some good fries, and have had consistently good ones at the Issaquah location. But this location consistently churns out extremely soggy and greasy fries. It feels like their frying oil just isn't up to temperature or something. Go else where for your fries fix. Even slightly cold McD fries beats the soggy pile you get here.

Om nom nom. I had a craving for a burger, saw this decent joint and have to say it satisfied my carnivorous appetite. It was my lunch/dinner. Linner? The first time I went to Five Guys I had the Cajun fries. I love cajun spices, but the Cajun fries did not work for me. This time, I had the Five Guys Style fries and was much happier. The flavor was great, but I would prefer the fries to be more firm. I wouldn't go as far as saying they were soggy, but they were not the best fries I have had as far as texture. The burger, on the other hand, was excellent. Tons of toppings available at no extra charge. I would return for a burger, but would skip the fries. I should mention the friendly service. Yes, they have that. They are quick... and they have peanuts. Lots and lots of peanuts.

First time having 5 Guys and I was very let down by this place - perhaps the Renton location is much better? I'll have to check them out. I had the cajun fries and they were super salty. The seasoning reminded me of Red Robin's seasoning. The fries were also really soggy. I was expecting some amazingly crunchy fries. The burger was just ok. The cheese tasted like Kraft singles and wasn't even melted. It reminded me of a BK Whopper with cheese - gross.

I love 5 guys. Not only are they inexpensive, but their portions are big and their fries are really good. Never soggy, or overly salty. Their fast, friendly and the dinning area is kept up considering how busy it's been the times we've gone. I would recommend this place if you want a really good cheese burger. Only reason they're not getting a *****'s is because I wish they'd consider having lighter options, like a chicken burger, or turkey burgers. And maybe some other condiments like avocado, bbq sauces, chipotle or ranch. But all in all they are fast, friendly, and have great food. Cheaper than Red Robin or FatBurger, and no McD'S or BK!!!

Just opened and heard a lot of hype about how good they are. The place seems like a slightly fancier fast food burger place. The peanuts you can eat and put shells on the floor is odd but neat. They use peanut oil for the fries. Had a bacon cheese burger and shared a regular fry. You get a good amount of fries to share for 2 with a regular fry. I didn't get any difference in having them fried in peanut oil. I thought the fries were a bit dry and not crispy at all. I was somewhat disappointed in them. The burger is very affordable as it is a double patty and all the toppings are free. A good selection of toppings. The meat was juicy, fresh and the cheese was good. However the meat lacked flavor. The bun feel apart a bit and I only had one small piece of bacon (although the bacon was good). I know this place just opened and I don't know if maybe a few things were off. I will try this place again as the food is priced well and the food was ok, just not great. Place was a big loud. Wish they had a bit more things on the menu (milkshakes, onion rings) In Seattle I like Red Mill Burger and the Counter. Plus in Woodinville Teddy's is great.

FRIES FRIES FRIES!!! It's funny to see all these posts complaining about how much fries they give you. We are never satisfied are we? If its not too little it's too much?! hmmm anyways, 5 stars deff.

Come for the fries, leave before the burger gets there. That's right my fellow Yelpers. I fell for the hype. All I kept hearing about was how amazing this place is and how I have to check it out. They get 2 stars for the fries which appear to be cut in house judging by the sacks of potatoes everywhere. Good salt, seasoning and texture. I can see why they included fries in their name. The other thing included in their name is burgers. I had a cheeseburger which was bland, greasy and room temperature. So room temperature in fact that it actually did not melt the cheap processed Kraft American cheese. I had 2 bites and thought...I could make a better burger at home. You may be able to pile on the different condiments but why would you want to when they are cheap and gross. Not sure if I'll be back but if I do, it will only be for fries. Now I am sitting here wishing that Bellevue Square In-and-Out hoax was for real...Oh well, there's always Dicks.

I have been meaning to check this place out since they opened, as they are right by my office. So, today I dropped in and ordered a little cheeseburger with pickles, mustard and ketchup. The cheese wasn't melted and I am pretty sure it is just a kraft american cheese slice. The bun wasn't anything to brag about, it was just a normal bun. The patty was good, but I couldn't really taste the meat, due to the enormous amount of condiments. If I had known that my burger was going to be drenched with condiments, I may have just ordered it plain and added my own ketchup. I also had a regular size order of fries, which is huge! The fries were too salty (and I love salt) and a little on the soggy side. Five Guys isn't bad, but it isn't great. Next time I'm looking for a burger, I'm just going to drive down the road to Whibbley's.

Bacon Cheeseburger and fries for $11? The beef just doesn't have any flavor to it. Do they season it at all? IMO I rather go to the Red Robin on the same block.

Yes, it's noisy, the table layout is overcrowded at this location and you certainly wouldn't want to go here if you are on a diet. That said, this place delivers the goods: a great hamburger and fries. The hamburgers are consistently juicy and awesome all by themselves but has great toppings. The fries are fresh cut and taste amazing with the malt vinegar freely available. Added bonus is the peanuts you can chow down on while waiting for your food to be ready (my boyfriend loved this part). It bit confusing the first few times you go however because there isn't combos and the sizing of items isn't standard. This is the best hamburger we've found since coming to the area and the coloured bird restaurant was very disappointing in comparison.

Went here today for lunch. If you love a good gut bomb of greasy food, Five Guys is THE place to go. We usually hit up Wibbley's but now that Five Guys has arrived in town... um... um... well... We ordered the following: -Little Hamburger with jalapeño, mustard, hot sauce: they messed up my order and gave me a little bacon cheeseburger with jalapeño, mustard, and hot sauce. I didn't complain cause I still got charged for the regular! XD -Bacon Cheeseburger with BBQ sauce: my boyfriend's staple order here. -Fries -Two regular sodas (free refills, so why pay for the bigger one?) All of the above came to $17.80 with tax! (!!!) And yes, it is a bit loud here -- louder than their Fry's/Renton location. It was all good though cause instead of trying to talk over all the noise (they had "Hot for Teacher" blaring which was kinda awesome), my boyfriend and I just read each others lips the whole time! :D P.S. They get super busy around lunch time. Although after having sat around for a while, I figured out the best window time for lunch is...wait for it.... NOT TELLING!! Because I want my table available, thank you very much! ;P

I heard a lot of good things about this place. Went there and ordered their burger. It was nice to be able to choose how many patties and what I wanted on the burger. I wasn't really impressed with the burger. I have had many different types and this was just so-so. Take it for what its worth, some may like it. I'll pass. Friendly staff though!

I feel like I should preface this with the fact that I LOVE Five Guys, the Renton location is great and Lynnwood is pretty good too. Unfortunately the new Redmond location is staffed by the best of the best of bored eastside teenagers. My husband and I went in the other night for dinner with the kids, not a big deal, it's happened before. I had a little bacon cheeseburger, aside from grilled mushrooms that had no flavor at all, it was good. Husband had a cheeseburger, it was falling apart and required a knife and fork but it was good. Now the kids, they don't eat burgers, thankfully they have grilled cheese and as a special treat they get bacon with it. Bacon makes them happy! But like others before us, they skipped the bacon. I took them back over and they stood there bewildered by the fact that we actually wanted the bacon. After contemplating the screw up for a few he asks what I want then. Gee I don't know, the damn bacon! So they wrap up a few pieces for the kids to fix their mistake and we carry on eating. But not before the little punk at the bacon station says to the guy next to him, I didn't put it on there because who would actually order that? I did Bitch, next time follow the order! The fries were really brown on the outside but still hard on the inside, still not sure how they manged that one, but they did and it sucked! I'll be back, it's close to home and easy to get to, but I'm going to give it a month or two in hopes that they get rid of the little brats working there and getting the cooking issues solved too.

We heard a lot about that place and decided to go there yesterday evening. We are not quite sure about the hype and all those good zagat ratings and whatnot on the wall. The place is cool looking and we liked the peanuts, but that is basically all. The burger was OK but not a lot of taste. The bun was so soggy that it couldn't hold up the patties and everything just fell apart. The award winning fries were awful, we ordered a large portion and probably threw most of it away. They are way to mushy and there was no crisp at all. I don't think we are going to go back again. Sorry

Love the burgers! What's better than a restaurant that sells burger and fries! I have been eating Five Guys burgers since 5 years ago when I used to live in NJ. I waited and waited and finally they opened in the Seattle area! Hurray to the owners! My little cheeseburger with everything (in black) was great. The burger tasted so delicious! If you are big eaters, either go with the regular size double patties burger or simply order two littles ones. They will fill you up. The peanuts were so-so. That's why that 1 star was taken out. Well...it was free so not going to complaint about that. Overall, a great place for lunch, afternoon snack, mid-night dinner! Cheeseburger with everything was the best! These guys sure know their burgers!

Yes!!! Finally a 5 guys on the eastside! This place is awesome. Expensive, but worth it. Unlimited free toppings, the brown bag full of fries, online ordering, free peanuts, old fashioned style delicious burgers. Go. Now.

I went there for the first time and was impressed. I like how the menu lists calorie count (expect lots of calories) and so many free burger toppings (including grilled onions and mushrooms). I got a cheeseburger and large french fries with a friend. The burger was big and so tasty! I thought the bun was a bit soggy, but my friend thought it was just juicy. The fries were unusually good because you could really taste the potatoes while being thin. A bit greasy, but not overly salted like most places. They give you plenty which is nice. What struck me is that I have a sensitive stomach and this didn't upset it as I anticipated. I was left with a very happy stomach in the end. While the fries were a bit pricey, the burger was quite a deal. If you can't eat a lot there is a smaller burger. Also they serve free peanuts.

I have eater at this location twice now and both times I would say it was pretty good for a fast food joint. Sorry Zagat, but it doesn't measure up to In and Out let alone my favorite all-time: Dicks. Single patty chesseburger with sauted onions was good and the fries were too, although there are way too many of them even in the smaller size. The service was friendly and quick both times. I think the food is a little pricey compared to other places. Will I go back? Probably will give it another try down the road becasue it's still better than the large fast food burger chains and we don't have any In and Outs and I need to go to Seattle for Dicks.

Good burger but not as good as a Double-double animal style from In-N-Out. Burger is not as juice or tasty. Fries are thicker cut than the ones I like at In-N-Out as well.

I've heard all the hype and finally had a chance to visit Five Guys. "Are their burgers and fries good?" Yes, I enjoyed the taste of both. Where I think the entire experience fails is in food presentation and restaurant atmosphere. It is only natural and I have to compare Five Guys to In-N-out and Fat Burger. Both those restaurants far out perform Five Guys in regards to food presentation and restaurant atmosphere. Tips for Five Guys: 1) Don't throw my food in a bag when I am staying to eat in your restaurant. Both Fat Burger and In-N-Out take different approaches, but each give effort to food presentation. 2) Install some booths. The "all table" configuration is not comfortable at all. I wanted to each my burger as fast as I could and get out of there.

  • DJ S.

I really don't know why all the positive hype about Five Guys. The burgers are mediocre at best. Buns are dry, chalky, and flavorless...burgers overall are mushy, messy, and have a slimy texture. Fries are HORRIBLE! Worst I've ever had, hands down. Greasy, soggy, taste like soil. Plus, the place is noisier than Red Robin (didn't think that was possible) and the tables and chairs are too close together. I don't like sitting with my back touching a total stranger. Seriously, if you want a GOOD burger on the Eastside, go to Wibbley's in Bellevue. MUCH better burgers, fries, and atmosphere.

  • Susan M.

I've been to the Five Guys in Northgate and one in the Dulles airport. None of them have had amazing fries, but the ones here in Redmond are the WORST! I ate about 20 of the fries as I was driving (too hungry to wait!) and feel a bit nauseous about that decision. That being said, I always love the hot dogs at Five Guys (I'm odd), and this Five Guys is no exception. Sliced in half, perfectly cooked, deliciously salty. I'd give 5 stars for the hot dog, 0 stars for the fries. About 3 stars overall.

Now I don't have to go to Fry's to get a good burger. Great fries and tasty burgers. Good selection of toppings though the mushrooms are bland and the jalapenos should be pickled in my opinion. Biting into a raw jalapeno on a burger isn't the right way to add heat...

    (4)
  • Susan H.

I was bummed they weren't as good here as they are in Virginia and Cali. The fries need to be cooked longer and drained better. They have great offerings for sauces but they put WAY too much of it on . Drowning in ketchup and falling apart. Sure wish we had In N Outs here. Just not so stoked about em at all

Fresh made to order burgers with a plethora of toppings grilled to perfection. That's the burger you'll get here. The fries, oh the fries. Fresh cut and perfect. Fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Free peanuts while you wait. I've found that anywhere that serves free peanuts is a quality establishment. Too bad many places that used to serve peanuts don't do so any more. Something to do about slip and fall liability. Stupid lawyers. I had the regular burger with grilled mushrooms and it was deeeeelicious. I felt like a kid again as I bit into the juicy burger and I found myself actually swinging my legs while enjoying my meal, something I haven't done since I was around 10. The staff was friendly without being obsequious and they all seemed to really enjoy their job. That was good to see. Honestly can't find a reason to eat a burger anywhere else as this is as good as it gets. Best of all my buddy paid for lunch which made the meal even more perfect-er. So if you have a craving for an awesome all American meal of burger and fries, find a friend who'll take you to lunch and have a great experience here.

I thought I reviewed this place already. But here we go again. Love thier burgers. Love ther places where you can build everything yourself. Include everything you want, and leave out things you don't want. So simple. And not charge an arm and a leg for customization. So serene. The plain burger without the works is already delicious, and that is why the high ratings :) Even the bread itself was delicious. Perfect amount of grill, that its hot and yummy, without it being too hard. The patty is yummmmm. All the extra sides is just additional yum. love the sauteed onions and the mushrooms. mmm mmm mmm wish it wasn't so close to home. i'm getting fat.

First visit. The bacon cheeseburger was a bit greasy, but tasted good and came with two patties. I liked being able to select the desired toppings for the burger. The french fries were tasty and generous, but also a bit greasy. You might be best having a small order of fries. Overall, good. However $13.83 for the burger, reg fries, and soda is not cheap!

We came here on a weekday, early in the afternoon, so it was pretty empty. I'm used to the Five Guys in CA, which always has a line a mile long with a long wait for food - so this experience of no line and fast service was so great! They were nice, fast, and the burgers were great. I really hope the weekend and night experience will be the same.

My first visit. I was a little disappointed when I asked for my burger to be cooked "medium" and was told "sorry, we only do our burgers one way-well done..." There are two problems with that: 1. Anyone who knows anything about meat-knows that you just don't cook meat well-done-ever. 2. If a customer wants something-the smart business would gladly do it-it is just good business sense. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger (burger build: 4/5, burger taste: 4.5/5, visual appeal: 3.5/5). The taste was amazingly good and juicy given how well the meat was cooked. Wired: Clean, bright design. Clean bathrooms. Good store layout. Local sourcing of potatoes. Tired: Obnoxiously loud pop music, no custom meat temperature, speed I will probably be back, but I would not call this the best burger joint ever.

I visited again today to give it another try. Last time I visited I was pretty sure I did not want to return. I ordered the lettuce wrapped burger 'all the way'. The burger took forever and then it was burnt. Had to ask for it when I saw it sitting on the counter. No ketchup, no mayo, no mustard. I thought 'all the way' would have something on it, but barely half way. And you guessed it, the lettuce was wilted by then. It just didn't seem like their system for getting orders out was working. They had a table full of buns with the fixings and were putting burgers on, but the wrapper upper and giver outer was busy with fries. So, if I were to go back, I would get the lettuce and condiments on the side and ask for the burger in a bowl.

Great burgers as usual at Five guys, but...the "uber drink" machine was not fully stocked so they only get 4 Stars. Everything else was great. If this is THE review you are reading to decide on Five Guys or not... a few notes. Sometimes the cheese doesn't get melted on the burgers. You CAN overload your burger with just too much stuff here...so be selective and make a REAL masterpiece of a burger for you, not just piling on the stuff. The fries are good. The fries...don't over order. If you feel you didn't order enough after you got your fries. Go back and get more...then come on here and insult me for steering you wrong. I doubt it will happen.

They're a chain. I know... and I don't... okay... RARELY review chains. But this was only the second time I've ever been to one. And this visit was to a wholly different location. AND This was the first time I ever ordered a burger ONLINE before even visiting the store. Yeah... ONLINE. Also, this was the first time I've tried their fries. I know... they're KNOWN for their fries. Hell, they have SACKS of potatoes in the lobby to make them in-house. The thing is, I'm not a big fry fan. They have to be curly or seasoned for me to have much interest in them. Anyways, Their "Little burgers" are good. Their regular burgers tend to fall apart. Their fries are okay. They're meatier than thin nasty McDonalds fries. Their online app is ehhh, awkward to use. you have to be persistent with it to actually push your order through. :-/ Overall, just go in and order. The app even says as much. Not really worth ordering online unless you're ordering MASSIVE amounts of food. :-/

Where did this new "Five Guys" place come from? This new store opened up in Redmond, and when I looked it up on Google, I found that it's a fast food restaurant to which President Obama apparently gave his seal of approval by visiting the store in DC. If the President takes the time to visit a place personally, then it must be good, right? I was eager to try the location in local Redmond to see how this new restaurant stacks up against the many other burger places in town. Now I know to stick to those other burger places in town. I walked in here and the first thing I noticed was the boxes of peanuts near the door. The interior had a very strong theme of alternating red and white that you can see throughout the place. Combine that with the uniformly-colored wooden tables and you get a kind of 1950s vibe, similar to Ruby's Diner. I guess that's cool, but it's ruined by the terrible music they have playing on the speakers. Good Lord. I stared at the menu for a while, and the girl behind the counter asked me whether it's my first time at Five Guys. Why yes it was, but did I make it that obvious? She explained to me the options I could choose from; they're actually rather limited. It seems their menu has four signature burgers; in ascending order of price, they are the hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon hamburger, and bacon cheeseburger. They apparently also have kids' versions of these four, plus a few other kinds like a veggie burger. The simple menu really reminded me of Dick's, which likes to keep things basic. What didn't remind me of Dick's is how expensive the burgers are. Most of them are over five dollars. Well, seeing as how this was my first time here, I wanted to be fair and give Five Guys the chance to impress me with everything they've got. I ordered the largest, most "complete" burger, the bacon cheeseburger, for $6.49. That's more than twice the price of the equivalent at Dick's, the Deluxe, but I didn't want to order the bare essentials and then complain about it not being enough. Also included were two condiments or whatever you want to call them that the customer gets to choose; I picked relish and grilled mushrooms. I don't know whether mushrooms count as condiments, but I had them included anyway. I also wanted to get their fries. They have a regular and a large size, but the girl there told me that regular is already a lot, so I just went with that for $3.19. The total came to $10.65. It's not very often that I spend so much money at once at a fast food restaurant. So I waited for a long time, and then heard my number being called out. I walked up to the counter and picked up my meal in a brown paper bag. Not the most impressive presentation I've seen. At Fatburger, they serve the stuff to you on a tray while you're seated at a table. No calling of numbers, and no brown paper bag. Peering inside, I saw a lot of fries. Wow, I wasn't expecting that many. Funny thing is how some of them were inside a small white paper cup, the same ones used for drinks. The remaining fries were just scattered around inside the paper bag. Then the burger itself, I found, was wrapped entirely in plain aluminum foil. I set aside the fries for the moment and opened the foil up to find... A tiny, messy burger. Hey, at least the mess wasn't very big! But when it comes to restaurants, generally it's a problem if the food isn't very big. I have no idea why other reviews are lauding how small these things are. I got the biggest, most expensive burger available, so it shouldn't fit so easily in the palm of my hand! The messy part of it comes from being overly greasy and having melted cheese sticking to the foil. The worst part is that the bread is hard to the point of being CRUNCHY. Why are they burning the bread? The burger as a whole didn't taste that great; it was pretty dull and I was too distracted by the crunchiness of the bread. The fries are just as bad. They're so greasy that they made much of the exterior of the paper bag visible with stained grease. They were overly salted; I took a close-up picture where you can see the salt for yourself. Worst part is how virtually every single fry was covered with ugly potato skin. The fries were quite thick, but just not very good. At over three dollars, they are definitely not worth it. And why do they come in a cup and a bag? Why don't they use those same things that McDonald's uses? I thought the point of fast food was to be fast and cheap. Here, I got neither. It's absurd that I could spend nearly eleven dollars for the very minimum at a fast food restaurant and not even have that come with chicken nuggets or a drink. The one plus side to this place is that they have boxes and boxes full of peanuts for you free to take. They're not what I usually expect to find at places like these, but at least they give you something to munch on while you're waiting for your order. But I think you'd be better off going somewhere beside this inferior version of In-N-Out.

My husband and I discovered Five Guys when we lived in California. We were happy to find that they were opening them in Washington. The one in Redmond being closest to our house, we come here when we need a quick fix on absolutely delicious fries, fresh burgers and very friendly service. Be warned, burgers are on the larger size so order the "little" to start. We are partial to the cajun (seasoned fries). So delicious! Plenty of parking and they are very fast in getting your order out. I recently forgot to order my fries seasoned and when I got my order I asked if I could trade in my non-seasoned fries. Willie (I think that's the guy's name) was quick to say, keep the original order and a new order of cajun fries will be right up! How nice was that?!

The hamburgers are mediocre, the fries abundant and the music LOUD! The clerks scream at you and each other because noise level is dangerously high. I would never go here but my husband likes the peanuts. Wibbleys: please get peanuts so I don't ever have to go there again. Does painful music really improve sales?

I LOVE Five Guys' burgers and fries! That you can customize your burgers. That the meat tastes fresh, flavorful and cooked well (not too over/under). And their fries is really where they shine. Cooked in peanut oil and served in a cup they are addicting sticks of goodness!!! I just got done eating here and am definitely feeling satisfied.

Supposedly the best fast food burger according to the new Zagat's survey, so when the craving for a burger arose we headed here. The decor is reminiscent of In-n-Out for me, but the burgers didn't take me there. The buns are soft, not toasted or heated as far as I could tell. The condiments that you choose to add are lathered on (my ketchup and mustard was almost a soup it seemed so thick), but at least you can choose whatever condiments you want including grilled mushrooms/onions for no extra charge. The meat although not way overcooked like a lot of places wasn't really flavorful. The regular burgers come with 2 patties which would probably balance out the large buns better, and the "little" burgers are a single patty. We had 2 little burgers, 2 drinks and shared an order of fries (HUGE amount for a 'regular' order) which ended up costing roughly $20. The obvious highlight of the meal (worth of 4 salty stars imo - so the whole place averaged a 3 for me...) were the fries: piping hot, but a bit too much salt for me and literally overflowing in the bag. These are a good bargain (and they've started my poutine craving again!). However, the fries probably won't be enough to get us to return here -- we do have a few other burger places to try when we feel daring but for $20 we may as well go to Red Robin even. The customer service was fine: friendly, polite, informative. There are TONS of peanuts in the place (AYCE I believe), so if you have an allergy definitely stay away. Overall, I am glad we tried it, but it was just okay in my book.... not the bells and whistles best that it *should* be with the high rating.

As the sign on the window says, this really is the best five dollar burger you can buy. Ordering is really fast and simple, and in less than five minutes you'll have food that is better than Burgermaster and other fast food places. As for the food, the burgers are really tasty, with fresh toppings and meat that is cooked well and is really juicy. The fries are thick cut and fried in peanut oil, which is way healthier than soybean/vegetable oil, which other places use. I highly recommend this place if you want a great, cheaper burger.

This is a great burger. I like that you can order it dressed as you wish. Essentially any other restaurant will do the same, but instead of asking them to not put this or that on it, you just tell them exactly what you put on it. I ordered the spicy fries. Not spicy enough. Next time I will order fries without any seasoning at all. No seasoning, and no salt. *crosses fingers that is allowed*. They were friendly and helpful. All the staff members I saw had smiles on their faces.

OK - by now you've hear the Five Guys hype. Here's the scoop on this location in Overlake: Meh. It's not very clean, service is not really there, and the layout is a pain. The burgers themselves are probably as good as any other Five Guys location, they're pretty consistent. Only eating them here is kinda depressing. If you want a good Five Guys experience, try the Issaquah and Northlake locations instead. You'll thank me.

Not so bad but not so great..... Carry your Epi-Pen First visit 7/14/2013 and dying for a great burger. Location: In a strip mall in an area of town we normally wouldn't frequent. After entering the restaurant we felt rushed into a decision, but were quick to let them know we needed a moment. The cashier seemed a bit irritated having to wait on us (there was no line, we'd stepped aside) Upon placing MY order she was quick in her assumption that my guest was not ordering food, again we had to slow her down. Reading the menu while placing my order I noticed all of the food is cooked in 100% peanut oil (those with allergies beware!) All burgers are cooked well done, stated on the menu as well. Peanuts are available self serve in the dining room to quell your appetite as you wait for your food. Shell away for those allergy free. Ordered: 1. Large hamburger, mustard, light lettuce, extra pickles, order of regular fries 2. Large bacon cheeseburger, mayo ,ketchup, mustard, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, order of Cajun fries Order Critique: We were in for a surprise when the burgers turned out to be double patties. I was very disappointed that the patty was not made to order as I like pink, not hockey pucks. The hamburger contained jalapenos, which was not on my order but still I made it to the last bite as did cheeseburger guy who was thrilled with the amount of bacon (loaded). I found the regular fries perfectly salted, hot but a bit soggy. The Cajun fries were the same as the regular fries only coated with a seasoning similar to Tony Chachere's (depressing unless used correctly). Loved the 80's music playing, too loud!! Impressions: Amazing touch screen pop dispenser, dirty floors, extremely loud music, disgusting condiment area, orders are yelled a bit too loud, line cooks lack personality considering we can see what they're preparing. OK selection of extra sides. Clean restrooms. An employee approached our table checking in all the while looking at my phone, (ugh oh I was spotted) spotting my shorthand (he did not check on any other table), he quickly sent out someone to quickly clean all areas, instantly employees were smiling, music was turned down and another employee started checking in on all tables. We felt under a microscope, as fake smiles were brandished. I was left with a bad taste of peanuts and waxy coating in my mouth 15 mins after finishing my meal! Great for: Pre-drinks with friends, families with out of control children Next time I'll spend my $27 at Wendy's the patties are practically the same. Approx total: $27 + tip Approx Wait: Order placed: 7:47pm Received: 8:05pm Hours: 11a-10p, 7 days a week

Okay, I think I've punished them long enough. I still honestly think the burgers here are just "okay," but I love the Cajun fries. Their portions are HUGE, so I'll give them that. I usually order a little bacon burger (with everything!), and I can never finish it. And they give you a generous extra scoop of fries, so even a regular is too much for two people. My BF really likes this place though, so that's why we keep coming back.

FYI-Large fries is REALLY large! 4 starts rating considering inexpensive burger chain! The burger tastes better than McDonald's and has good layer of flavor. I like the idea of offering smaller burger!

Went here the other day a bit hungry after sitting @ Kukai for 15 min at the table w/out being served. We needed protein and fat and -fast-. 5 guys to the rescue! We came expecting greasy delicious burgers, that's exactly what we needed - and exactly what we got. Excellent handcut fries. The grease on the bag is your window to weightgain. What we weren't expecting was the great conversation with one of the female workers while we waited. Thanks for turning our meh evening around!

Five stars when they fix that!

damn Damn DAMN! GAO OUT.

    (4)
  • Kris H.

The burgers are a little bland for my taste as I was expecting more flavor but overall not bad and pretty good.

  • Amy K.

Good Burgers. I still think Red Mill might be a little better - but they're cheaper, and pretty much as good as Lunchbox Laboratory. Also good for the peanuts to nibble on while waiting on your order.

  • Jack H.

  • Robert K.

    (4)
  • Bill W.

  • Simon Y.

  • Tiffany A.

    (2)
  • Christine W.

  • Allan F.

Had heard about five guys being only present on the east coast. I tried this today and I really like it. The fries were awesome!

Good burger. A bit pricey. French flies might be too oily for some people.

Mini burger and small fries should be enough if you are not too hungry. Their Cajun fries are pretty good too. The only thing missing is shakes.

Yes!!! Finally a 5 guys on the eastside! This place is awesome. Expensive, but worth it. Unlimited free toppings, the brown bag full of fries, online ordering, free peanuts, old fashioned style delicious burgers. Go. Now.

I like that the burger is totally customizable but it doesn't have an exceptional flavor.
