Love this place. Been coming here and posting pics since they opened. The service is always fast and the staff friendly. 4 yo likes the "no spice" noodles (basically mild Hakka noodles) and their bhaturas Adults love (fav is at the top) 1) chana bhatura - you get 2 HUGE bhaturas with a bowl of a chickpea curry along with Indian pickles, onions, half a chili and a slice of lime 2) their lamb curry and garlic naan - huge portion with fork tender meat that's soooo good 3) Papdi chaat - yummy combo with chickpeas, yogurt, Papdi (fried flat Indian style chips), various chutneys, onions and cilantro 4) dahi puri 5) their chicken 65 roll The only 'just ok' item was their mango lassi but I think I'm just picky about lassis.

Chaat N Roll opened me up to a whole new category of Indian food - street food. The flavors are great and it doesn't cost too much. Eat there or carry out, its all pretty flexible. The Chicken 65 Briyani is really good, but I like the chaat dishes - a samosa or a kabob of some type, covered with a lentil and yogurt gravy with some fresh vegetables. If you pay with cash, you get a 5% discount.

We came here for a snack, so we shared one chicken thali with an extra side of chicken curry and two roti. We also tried the chikoo shake and this dessert that's composed of deep fried bread soaked in syrup with something white and icing-like sandwiched in-between. The thali was good -- came with a cup of beans, a cup of eggplant/okra curry, and chicken curry, two roti, one crispy cracker thing, a fried sticky sweet dessert, and a little cup of what I think is pickled lemon. I did not really like the beans or the dessert, but I really enjoyed the vegetable dish and the chicken curry. Only downside was that the chicken curry was on the greasier side as you could see the grease separating from the rest of the curry. Also, I think the roti was whole wheat. I have mixed feelings about that.. I eat whole wheat at home to be healthy, but when I am out, I want my refined grains! The dessert thing was not good, do not order. I really liked the chikoo shake -- it tasted like coconut water. This is a good place for a quick meal, definitely give it a try! They have Chinese food here too -- odd!

Great place for Indian. The guy taking your order is friendly and give great suggestions if asked. They also have outdoor seating which is a great option to get out of the stuffy air.

Let's have a chat... about Chaat N Roll. Indian street food served in a very nice and clean environment. I totally dug my Chaat, i'm not sure of everything in it, but there were pomegranate seeds. so rad. My recommendation for anyone looking for an adventure in cuisine, visit this spot. they've got it going on! NOMNOMNOM

Really good. Quality and price point are great. We were stuffed after spending twenty bucks and had loads of leftovers. The Chicken 65 Roll was the best thing we ordered. They have some outdoor seating- which is lovely when the sun is shining.

The food isn't your standard indian cuisine. I enjoyed it.. if you're from the midwest you might hate it and I'd suggest the Denny's down the road. If you don't know anything about Indian food as the front counter, they're happy to help and suggest. The portions are larger than you'd think.. The curry chaat rolls and a couple other that I'm not going to bother to pronounce or type were visually appealing. Spicy is true spicy and there does not appear to be a round eye handicap (common in thai and korean places where Asians only get the real 4 & 5 star spicy food). The ambiance is quirky, a combination of sports bar (TV's) a Mcdonald's painted in my little pony colors and Bollywood.

I love the Chaat n Roll in Redmond/Bellevue so I was excited when this place opened up last week, and wonder of wonders the menu pricing is the same despite this location being new and larger and more restaurant like. This place has slightly better fast food type red and yellow decor and can fit over 100+ people vs. 20-25 at the other location. They're still under construction, but it looks like they have some outdoor seating as well that will be nice in warmer months. It's an order at the counter and seat yourself type of place which works just fine for me if it keeps prices reasonable. There is an option for food takeout where you can just get a ready made curry for dinner. Or you can order menu items. Chaat is Indian street food and this place does it well. All flavors are authentic. The day we went they were still setting up so it was a bit chaotic but food seemed the same and pretty authentic to Delhi / Mumbai street food flavors. Try the Kathi rolls ($6) which are warm wraps with paneer or veggies and spicy chutneys and great for lunch. The Papdi chaat/ Dilli chaat (chickpea flour crisps with tamarind chutney and mint chutney and some toppings) ($6) and bhelpuri ( puffed crispy rice with chutneys and toppings) ($5.50) is good too. The Raj Kachori chat or Khasta kachori chat is the Indian version of a taco salad - a fried crispy taco like shell filled with chutneys, chickpeas, onions. ($5.50) The samosas are crispy and filled with well seasoned potatoes. ($1.30 each) The Chole-Bhatura (spicy Chickpea curry and pickle with 2 huge puffed and leavened fried flour breads) are awesome, made just like streets of Delhi and good for 2 people. ($9) The pav Bhaji - soft pav bread with mixed vegetable mash is yummy. ($6) There is also the mango lassi or shake ($3) and cardamom tea ($2) and you can buy some desserts like gulab jamun (fried dough balls coated in sweet syrup), jalebi ( crunchy fried dough swirls filled with sweet sugar syrup) etc. to go. I am sure this place will be pretty packed soon when more people find out about it. A great value for lunch or takeout! And good news for VEGETARIANS it's a mostly vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. They recently started serving chicken and have a chicken tikka roll, chicken 65 roll, and some other chicken items. They also have secret items on their chaat menu, ask them about it. They're not listing them on the menu yet as they're probably on trial basis. 2nd update: I visited again a second time and for some reason they packed our order to go, we waited for a half hour and then checked and realized it was sitting in a bag on the counter, guess I will need to be clearer next time. 3rd update: I will advise them to keep quality more consistent as it has tended to fluctuate a little over 4-5 visits. Sometimes food is fresher than at other times. 4th update: A couple times the bhatura was too oily and another time dough was too sour. After 5-6 visits I am not happy as they lack consistency. They try to please but I'd rather let the food do all the talking. I am hoping consistency of flavor and freshness improves at this location. 4/11/15: I tried this place a few more times and now I have to lower my rating to 3 as the food quality is dropping. The lunch thali left so much to be desired - no paneer pieces in paneer and roti was cold, kadhi was bad. My new favorite for Chaat is now Chaat House in Bellevue. They're still maintaining quality and are packed all the time. This place is already struggling as it's no longer as busy even on weekends. And they're not as rigorous in cleaning the place either. It's a vicious cycle really once the crowds stop coming. My advice: Keep the food quality and taste up, change your cooks or you could be closing soon as crowds dwindle!

Been to this place few times and I feel that it is going down hill. The restaurant is not kept clean, super dirty, they don't run the AC and just a big mess. Makes you think what the kitchen is like which customers cannot see. Food quality is also going down hill very quickly. I recently purchased some restaurant.com certificates and the cashier has started to sneak on a 18% tip on a self serve and take out order?????? Really, when I asked him about it after this happened the 2nd time, he said he has to since restaurant.com makes them do that and it's part of the terms and conditions. I believed him. Came home and read the Ts & Cs and that is not true. Overall - use to like this place but will say, quality is going down, super dirty and final part that really did it for me is lack of integrity.

We love this place! Quick, delicious and everyone is so helpful explaining the menu in detail. I especially love that there is outdoor seating. We will come here for weeknight dinners, often. It's affordable, casual and always hits the spot. I especially love the 65 chicken roll and I can't wait to try more things on their menu. We highly recommend!

Food is ok. Nothing to write home about, but will satisfy a craving for Indian in a pinch. Staff are friendly. But this place, which fancies itself "Indian Fast Food," is anything but fast. It took 20 minutes to receive two orders of curry and a bowl of rice. In addition, the prices are absurd. That order I just mentioned cost $32... And the rice alone was $4 for "16 oz" that, when weighed at home, clocked in at 8.3 oz. As such, I would not recommend this place.

Degrading quality everyday ordered chicken 65 biriyani and felt like it was from the yesterdays or day before yesterdays..chicken was really bad..if you guys really give your customers this bull shit food..you are loosing customers

Tandoori Chicken was pretty good. It came with a bunch of marinated onions and peppers, fesh cabbage. It was two thighs and two drums. Got rice and it came to $17

The food here is good. However folks not familiar with this cuisine may have difficulty figuring out the menu as it could use more photos or descriptions to help Indian street food novices such as myself. The Shaam Severa Chaat was delicious and reminded me very much of a very similar dish I had at the famous Vij's in Vancouver BC. This one was just as good if not better. The contrast of the spicy sweet sauce, herbs, veggies and crispy wafers is amazing. Definitely try this place.

First time here. It's not easily seen from the main road but worth finding. We had no idea what to expect but we had set our expectations low because of the "fast food" sign outside. We had a Chaat, a Biryani and a Roll. The Biryani was so big that we essentially got 4 meals for the price. I can't remember the names of what we had. we asked the man at the register to give us advice and he was very helpful. The staff in the dining area were nice and quick to clean a table for us (there was a lot of tables available but we wanted a booth). we will definitely go again to try different flavors and items.

    (4)
  • Nikhil S.

Completely mismanaged. Partial orders delivered. Wrong order to the table. 10 other orders served before I had to remind them that I am still waiting. Not going to be coming here any time soon. The serving staff is snobby at best.

  • Molly G.

THEY KNOW WHAT GLUTEN IS & CAN MAKE THINGS GLUTEN FREE!! Oh, and the food is great. We had never been here before so we asked the man who took our order to "surprise us". He certainly did, and it was certainly DELICIOUS!

I tried the eat24 app on a Saturday because I was too lazy to go anywhere or cook. There was a $50 min order, and I wasn't sure what to order so I just kind of ordered a mix of everything. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. I know nothing about this food, it is my first experience. The chaat, which I have never had before, blew my mind. I especially remember the dilly chaat being exceptionally interesting. The rolls that we got were also something I had never had and was quite mind blowing. Chicken curry was slow cooked and probably the best I have ever had. This has been added to my rotation of favorite places to eat in Issaquah. Ultimately, it was one of those game changing restaurant moments. Like when I first went to Tats or Garlic crush. P.s. Order everything "very spicy"

Worth the money. A must visit for Indian food in Issaquah! Finally there is one good Indian restaurant in Issaquah/ Sammamish area. I have given 5 stars because of : 1) very friendly people 2) awesome taste 3) great variety of food options 4) simply superb drinking options: thandai , chikoo milkshake are the best 5) they deliver/ serving time is very fast! You must try these 2 items : pav bhaji and dahi puri.

  • Sowmya S.

Spacious and hygienic. They really care if the customers are satisfied or not and they ask for genuine feedback. The menu is increasing and they are adding some yummy non-veg dishes soon, I heard. Well, my favs here are Paneer biryani Pav bhaji Paratha Chaat Pani puri Lol can't help the size of the list since all of them are super tasty. Although, don't bother trying their drinks, I'm not a big fan of the lassi there.

This place is a great addition to Issaquah. My son and I stopped in for late lunch! Delicious fresh food. They are still working on menu but the employees are extremely helpful and described all the food options. Good for vegetarian but they also have some chicken dishes. Very good, we will be back soon!

Finally, a delicious gem of a restaurant in Issaquah. It's hidden in the back by the new location of All The Best Pet Care. This place is a welcomed addition to a lackluster offering of Issaquah eateries. The menu is diverse, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. Ask for the Shaam Savera chaat. The layers of complex flavors and textures will consistently keep you going back for another bite. Every dish is expertly seasoned, filling your palate with the flavors of India. The service is a bit slow, that's why it has four stars for now. That may be because they are just getting their feet wet in this location. I'm sure an updated review will be in order with a bit of time.

  • Nomad L.

Food was just "meh". Had the Chicken 65 roll, chickpea curry and naan. The meat on the roll was well seasoned, but I didn't care for the cut, seemed like a lot of fat and skin and not a lot of meat. I liked the veggies included in the roll and ended up eating those sans the roll breading. The breading was rubbery, both on the 65 roll and the naan. The chickpea curry was edible, nothing to write home about. For the price, I think the food is ok. I'd like to try a few other things on the menu and the update the review.

Good food. Very good service. Stick to chaat while ordering instead of their other stuff like Chicken 65 or thali.

My wife and I have been here two times previously. I thought the food was very good; my wife thought it was so-so. Both previous times, we were friendly and excited to dine there, but the staff were very rude to us. They were unfriendly both in person and on the phone, to the point of being occasionally argumentative about what we were ordering, and essentially hanging up on me when I ordered over the phone the second time we went. I wanted to return tonight, but my wife didn't want to go back. I said perhaps third time would be the charm, and so we returned. The cashier was rude and argumentative, and we were put off enough that we walked out mid-order for another establishment, and will never return.

Excellent food! We come here often and have rarely been let down. The Dosa is the best around. Reasonable prices, however service can be a little slow. Worth the wait!

  • Mariam Z.

Let me start by saying that I'm very familiar with the cuisine, and I know my chaats very well. I went with a friend and we ordered the samosa chaat and chicken roll. Also, we ordered pani puri and dahi puri to-go. We wanted to order an aloo paratha, but it takes 20 mins to make. Serving size for the chaat was very good, and can easily be shared by 2 people. Samosa chaat: very average. The chaat was garnished with beetroot - not sure why. It didn't add any flavor and only discolored it a bit. It was missing some tangyness. Chicken Roll: Chicken didn't have much flavor. The paratha had this strange yellow color, which it shouldn't have. It seemed to soft for a roll - probably a cross between a wrap and a roll. The paratha definitely needs to have less oil saturation and more crisp. Pani puri: This was a to-go order and packed very well with all components separately. However, the small puris didn't have any chickpeas or potatoes. Not sure if they just forgot to add they, or if this is the way they serve it. Dahi Puri: A to-go order and not packed well. Instead of packing this separately, it was all mixed together - which means that it was completely soggy by the time I got home. We tried swallowing down most of it, but ended up throwing some away. Overall experience was ok, but they really need to improve their food and quality.

  • Emily P.

This place is a little too authentic for me and too spicy. The staff was not really able to help recommend something I would like or help me understand the menu, but the food was good and portions are large.

  • Kara D.

We found Chaat n Roll on Yelp and I'm so glad we did! Fabulous curry and an incredible garlic flat bread. A great find while in the middle of a road trip. Fast service and an enjoyable seating outside. We will definitely stop here again! Additional comment... Okay, These folks are quality people. Not only did we have wonderful food but we also got our car battery jumped by the staff. Gracious wonderful staff. Thank you again!!

  • Crooked K.

Authentic, spicy as Indian should be. I am tired of the domesticated version of the Indian food in most restaurants. The paan and chiku milkshakes complement the spicy foods well. Get bold, eat Pani Puri.

  • Maya Z.

I have been here many times now and I love the food and service. The staff is by far friendly and smiling. The other day I took a chaat and after taking a few bites told one of the staff members that I didn't expect an aloo tikki in this chaat and didn't like the aloo tikki. He very friendly took away my order and trashed it and told me to pick another item from the menu and replaced this for free! I think over the years, customer service has greatly improved in many Indian food places which I used to miss seeing earlier. I enjoy their thali items as well. And they do a good job on the thali to go orders! Food is neatly packed in cardboard paper boxes and Not cheap Styrofoam! It does tend to get crowded during the weekends and lines are long! And their online ordering rarely works!

    (4)
  • Navneet S.

Try the Bombay Paratha. It's awesome. Veg Biryaani was good too. Beware while using the discount. They charged $2 gratuity for using the coupon for discounting 1.3 dollars. Although I got back $2 back upon asking but that was totally wrong.

  • Hao Z.

The food is good - again, everything I've gotten here can be described as very unique (for a non-indian) and something you can't find in other Indian restaurants. The food is close to 5 stars, but I'm going to take away a star for the following reasons: 1. The place is unclean. Surprising, since most Indian restaurants are amazing in their clean-ness, but I guess this is marketed as a cafe. Still, the floors are sticky, the chairs are cheap plastic chairs, the tables are not cleaned, and the whole atmosphere is worse than McDonald. I've been there twice, and both times the floors are sticky, making my shoes stick. This is NOT acceptable. 2. No English menu. Yes, 90% of their guests appear to be Indian, but Chinese restaurants in the area with 90% Chinese guests have the courtesy to provide an English menu. At the very least, provide a menu with pictures for every item, if you can't be bothered with an English description.

Very authentic and delicious Indian street food. Go here if you're tired of all the American-ized Indian food places!

We recently moved to the area and was so happy to find Chaat N Roll. We have been back at least 4 times since then! On our first time, we were recommended some delicious dishes (some of which I forget the name of) and one of which was the chicken biryani! So flavorful and spicy. I dream about it all the time. The samosa chaat is great too. The other times that we went back, we ordered the paratha, which is quite sizable and tasty too. Great with goat or chicken curry. I also ordered the thali with rice. It comes with 3 different veggie curries. I always order the chicken curry too because it is SO good. The spice paste that is used for each of the curries is different and really make for some delicious curries. My hubby and son love the mango lassi but try the sugarcane juice - yum! If you love spice and Indian flavors, drop by and order up some chaat! Oh and the biryani!

A very welcome addition to Gilman Boulevard - finally some variety! We couldn't be more thrilled that Chaat N Roll opened in Issaquah! We have frequented their other location, and as much as we enjoyed the food, the space was small and it was a little bit of a hike for us. This location has taken what we love about Redmond and fixed the things that we don't like - with plenty of seating and a clean atmosphere. If you are new to Indian street food, this is the place to try. There are a number of tasty choices, and they even have some standard Punjabi entrees as well. Their portions are generous, service is fast, and menu has lots of flavorful, vegetarian options. I love their Chole Bhature and Samosa chaat, my husband is a fan of the dahi puri and papdi chaat, and my young son loves the paratha, raita, and mango lassi (who wouldn't??)

Recently visited here for the first time with a friend. The menu was unfamiliar - not like your usual Indian restaurant. The woman behind the register was very nice and helpful and suggested some of their most popular items. They were very tasty and filling. The employee gave us a receipt of what we ordered so we will remember for next time! Planning on bringing the family this weekend to introduce them to this new (for us) cuisine.

Have been there a few times now; food consistently good, albeit not great. Thalis are good, Indian-style Chinese is decent as well. Chaats and snacks are definitely the high points. Kachori chaat is delicious, so is pav bhaji. Kolkata style rolls are not quite authentic, but for the US, is way above average.

Staff is always friendly and the food is awesome. I'm really happy that they opened up a branch in Issaquah which is much more spacious (as well as closer to me) compared to their Bellevue branch. The real attraction is the food. Personally, this is the best Chaat in the Seattle neighborhood. My personal favorites: Khasta Kachori chaat Alloo or Bombay Paratha Pani Puri Maharaja Burger

The only reason I'm not leaving a 5 star review was because the inside could be cleaner. The food was AMAZING! I was leery about the name on the outside of the building that read "fast food indian", but when she explained it being street food indian, for some reason, that made a difference. :) I ordered the HARA BHARA KABOB CHAAT, and didn't really know what it was except for the CHAAT, and it was delicious, full of flavor and very fulfilling. You could split it between two people really. It was too much food for me. I will definitely be back!!!

My wife and I had thought about going here a few weeks ago but read some less than stellar reviews on Yelp. Our friends told us they went last week and loved it. We tried it today and were bowled over! Not really knowing much of what to order (and we love Indian food and eat it frequently), we asked the cashier what to order...she suggested a chaat and helped us order the correct Kathi roll (I want to try them all now!), and a biryani. Staff was helpful and friendly (don't know what other reviewers are talking about). The only thing we would recommend is make sure if you don't like spicy to tell the cashier when ordering...we didn't order anything overly spicy and have to wonder what the spicy dishes taste like since medium spicyness was hot enough for us. We will definitely be back many times in the future.

Fun, affordable, unique Indian food! Tucked back in the shopping center where the new All The Best pet store is is this delicious spot. Granted our family is not of Indian ancestry, the menu at this place is a bit overwhelming at first. I wish there were pictures attached to each menu item, but it would take a huge wall! We trusted the recommendations of a very nice woman at the counter who did not steer us wrong. We loved her recommendations - Shaam Savera Chaat, Hara Bhara Kebob Chaat, Manchurian Chicken, and Paratha Thali (the paneer Tikka Masala was lick-it-out-of-the-container good!). Normal spiciness is a little on the high side, but it washed down well with a mango lassi. All food made fresh in about 10 minutes. I hope people will find them so they will hang around Issaquah for a while - we will do our best to visit often and try new things! Update#1: we've been back since and have added a Spring Dosa to our "must-have" list. This is a thin rice crepe with diced Masala vegetables inside. It's a big serving. It has a brown bean gravy on the side (better than it sounds!) as well as chutneys (coconut, coriander, etc.) Yum!

Indian fast food. Entrees are inexpensive and original (that is if you are not Indian). Staff was friendly. The floor was yucky and sticky, although the chairs and tables looked clean. We ordered take out. The vegetarian dish we had was a bit over-sweet, likely with an excess of the Indian equivalent of ketchup. The chicken wrap was nice. Both dishes were spicy which is ok with us. We had an ice-cream like dessert (Kulfi) that neither of us liked; we preferred the Kulfi from Costco.

Tasty food but quite unhygienic. The place is pretty dirty - the tables, the chairs and everything else. Food on the floor has made it sticky ..I wonder if they ever mop the floor. Decent food if you can put up with the sub-par ambiance. I will not want to look into the kitchen of this place.

Food is decent, Hope owner(Male) should know how to treat customers. Guys !! carry cash when you make to-go order or try to use single credit card.incase if you are going to use couple of credit card, you will hear from owner, system is broken and it will not take more than 1 credit card. If the system is broken how will take 1 credit card but not another...LOL....once person ended up paying for the whole bill which is close to 70$. He could have split into 2 bill and should have taken 2 separate cards. Just because they wanted to avoid credit card charges, they can't say some bullshit to customers. Most of the people in this area are working into IT, we know how software works......

I was in the mood for Indian food and decided to try Chaat N Roll out. The service was good and the person who helped me was very nice to explain their menu. (I'm more used to more formal Indian restaurants, not a fast food one.) The food tasted okay but the reason why I'm only giving three stars is that I was disappointed with the portion. In a fairly big (16oz) container of butter chicken, it was 90% liquid and only about 6-8 very small pieces of chicken. Given how much I spent on the order, I would've expected a better ratio of meat to sauce.

Found this place last month and have been back several times. What a treat to have this restaurant in Issaquah. I love spicy and flavorful food and they deliver on both counts. My favorite dish is the Chicken 65 right now but we've only just scratched the surface of their substantial menu. Can't wait to try out new things on every visit!

My wife loves chat and when we came to US she always missed eating authentic Chat. We tried so many different places around Seattle but none made my wife happy. But finally she found the taste that she was missing. We ate Papdi chat and it reminded us the taste that we grew up eating in North India. Excellent taste and great hospitality. Must try if you are fond of eating Chats.

Tasty options - so glad this is in my neighborhood. My favorites so far are the potato dosa, veggie biryani, and thali (with chicken curry and spinach paneer when they have it). If you pay in cash, there is a 5% discount.

I work next door so I may be bias but after eating here close to 20 times since they recently opened I feel like I can give a fair review as to their quality and execution. First let me say these guys are consistent. Consistently good. Consistently flavorful. Consistently friendly. They are great about explaining menu items as they don't come with descriptions. I attempt to try something new almost every time I go and I'm never disappointed. Currently I'm obsessed with their cauliflower gobi Manchurian style. A note to the meek their food could be considered spicy to some although I appreciate the authenticity. They're mostly vegetarian but they do carry some chicken dishes for the carnivores out there. Bland is not their bag so strap your tongue in and hold on tight..you're going to enjoy the ride.

I absolutely love Indian food. That place was such a treat because it introduced me to types of Indian food I've never had before. Most Indian restaurants in the states offer more or less the same dishes: tandoori, naan, curry, etc. Chaat N Roll had a menu full of dishes that I've never heard of before... everything I tried was delicious. I can't wait to go back. I hope they open a location in Seattle soon! This place is kid-friendly too... a plus for those of us with little ones.

Always excited to try out a new place for Indian food. Everything I had was delicious (paratha thali, cholle bhature). Everyone working there were really friendly and happy to explain all the menu items for us chaat amateurs. I suspect this place will be quite crowded for lunch in the future, but most people don't know about it yet ... and I plan to take advantage of that.

Food is great, staff is wonderful--a great addition to Issaquah The building is in the back of a shopping center off of Gillman, across from Safeway and Taco Bell. The restaurant is large, and the staff was very friendly and helpful selecting food to try. Wonderfully flavored and a vibrant atmosphere, Chaat N Roll is unlike anything else in Issaquah.

Decided to try some Indian food that wasn't my go to coconut curry and was pleasantly surprised. Don't be intimidated by the menu, the employee behind the counter was amazingly helpful in our food selection. The mango lassi is bomb and the Shaam Savera Chaat is phenomenal.

A true disappointment. It's a sad story of a fast food-like place that undelivered on its promise of decent food. YUK.

FINALLY - a good Indian eating joint in Issaquah. The chaats were really good - we ordered both the papdi chaat and the bhel puri. We also ordered the Chicken65 roll which was pretty tasty. Very good customer service - their grill was not working and they could not make the dosa. So they substituted with vadaa sambar and even gave our daughter a free mango lassi (along with several apologies). We'll be back.

Food was great tasting, service was exceptionally friendly and establishment was clean. Had chicken curry and was a bit dissatisfied with the portion to price ratio. Small cup of rice and small cup of curry with three chunks of chicken.

Super clean and delicious food. There is enough room and the employees are very nice. I ordered the dilli chaat and tea.

This is terrific news for Issaquah residents. We've been a big fan of Chaat N Roll in Bellevue but the space constraints and drive made it difficult to enjoy the place on a regular basis. The Issaquah location is bigger and better. Kudos for taking customer feedback and acting on them. I've frequented the place 5 times now with family and also placed a large catering order for NYE. The food was exceptional, parathas are authentic, paan shot shake and pani puri is TDF. My family is a fan and we will be coming here for our weekly chaat fix!

Visited the second time. The person at the counter tried to upsell again with items not on the menu. Ordered Chhole bhature. The bhatura was too thick and deep fried. Chhole were small in quantity. Not sufficient. Taste was average. Some what like instant food. Dahi bhalla was good in taste and ok in quantity. Ragda pattice was also good in taste and ok in quantity. Based on two visits, my conclusion is that some dishes are good and others are not good. Depends on your taste buds. But do not go hoping good quantity.

I was excited to hear that there is a new Chaat place near Sammamish. The food is quite tasty and portions are good. They also try some variations of food and seasonal specials to try out. The service is friendly and casual. The highlight for me was sugarcane juice (try without masala) and Kathie rolls. I am disappointed with the pricing - Indian snacks at gourmet entrée prices served in paper plates. And the place is dirty. There were spills in 2 places which they did clean after some time, but by then the half the floor area was sticky. The tables and chairs are cheap and not very clean. The restaurant is also hard to find tucked away in the back of a small strip mall. I hope this is just temporary as they re very new. But if this continues, they will lose customers..

I have been here for the first time after moving in issaquah. It was located at the very right place in centre of gilmann ... The menu was really good had a variety of dishes... Vada pav was really good and the best part is quantity , you really get for the money you paid. Ambience was good had a good parking space. Definitely recommended.

The place is nice and seating is spacious compared to the Redmond one. The food is tasty and I like the parathas on the menu which have a variety. Overall happy that there is a new place to try Indian street food in Issaquah.

We went there one time. It is an OK place. We ordered Chana Bhatura, Papdi Chat, Kati roll. The portion size are way too big for one person to eat. Also, the food did not taste fresh. The Khati roll was way to hot to eat. We had to wait for 10 minutes for it to cool down.

Delicious Indian fast food. Tried the first thing on the menu, a fried vegetarian ball of some kind. I am neither vegetarian nor Indian, but the flavors in this dish are amazing! The sauce smothering the dish reminds me of chili, with purple onion, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, pomegranate seeds, grapes, cilantro and all kinds of sweet and spicy flavors. Need to come back and try more dishes!

Hit or miss food; proud, rude and dis-organised management; pricey menu: AVOID! I have been there with a group of friends and was very excited to try out this new joint. But there is no such thing as customer service here! First, they misplaced my order, and I had to go in myself to check on it, in spite of reminding them twice from my table. The server found my order paper fallen down! Okay, I can give them this flak. But there is no SORRY or no guilt about this from the girl on the counter! She should have given my order for free, my friends were all ready to leave and I was still waiting for my dish! Last but not the least, couple of my friends had ordered the same chaat dish as I did and they said mine did not look like theirs at all! So they goofed up on top of being late to service, didn't refund, didn't talk nicely! Needless to say, I will never come here! Save yourself trouble and find out other similarly named place in Bellevue - much tastier options and cheaper!

I love their Dabeli the most! I have ordered it multiple times at my parties and all loved it. I like their paav bhaji and raj kachori also. Very tasty chaat items..Its our to go place whenever we are undeicided on what to eat..Although since all the food is spicy, my kids don't eat anything from there so we have to settle for plain rice for them or just poori or Bhatura without any curry or dip..I feel sorry for them when I go there. Taken off one start for no non-spicy option for kids..and for the long waits

I love Indian food, but am not familiar with the street style of food served here. I went in excited to try something new. I looked at the menu and there are no descriptions available. I told the man taking the order that I love all Indian food but needed some help ordering. He just pointed up at the menu acting very disinterested. I said I wasn't sure what everything meant but that I was hungry and wanted some help ordering. He just sighed as if I was bothering him and mumbled try the chicken biryani. Obviously that is a very traditional dish and have had it many times before. I said okay but wanted to add something else to try. He said no, the biryani was enough food and I didn't need anything else. I should have just walked out at this point but I was there and hungry and didn't want to argue with someone I was perfectly willing to give my $ to. Got the biryani. Bleh. Wasn't horrible.... Maybe 2 star. But negative stars for the entire experience.

Warning: i had an Entertainment coupon up to 7 dollars off; they wouldn't honor it (said there was a minimum 20 dollar purchase) BULL! Food was ok. Paratha was very greasy. Not an honest business.

Its just ok. I saw them microwave potato patties for vada pav. It just put me off and felt that there was a lot of improvement for taste. I ordered samosa - they microwaved it as well. The guy at the counter said its fresh but why would they take it out of a fridge ? We ordered thali once and all the (gravy) curries tasted pretty much the same.

Finally an authentic Indian place east of lake sammamish. Great menu and good service.

Chole bhature were good except that chole were undercooked. Maharaja burger was horrible and soggy and broke apart the moment it was picked up and transformed into aaloo tikki chaat. 3 item thaali was ok - rotis were like papad. There was no kofta in the kofte dish. When pointed out we managed to get one kofta in the dish. Punjabi kadhi was good.

The lady behind the counter was super nice to explain items on the menu since there were no pictures or descriptions posted yet. We went with a medium spiced chicken kati roll, chicken biryani, and mango lassi. The kati roll was buttery, eggy, and full of spiced flavors that linger in your mouth. The yogurt and sweet dip that came with the meal complimented the food. The mango lassi was very flavorful. We were a bit full from just the two items that we barely touched the biryani. I will be back to try other items.

Literally every single thing I have eaten here is delicious! I have eaten at every Indian restaurant in Issaquah and never liked the food, so I am very excited to finally find good Indian food! Their food is very fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. They have amazingly helpful staff that seem to genuinely care that you are happy with your experience. The restaurant and what you can see of the kitchen is very clean. You must try it!

Delicious food and friendly staff. Never heard of chaat, but they walked us through the options. Mild was mild and medium was medium, and everything was fresh and tasty.

we went to try few items on the menu and while they tasted above avg in taste, this review is overall assessment of the place. This place is huge compared to their Bellevue location, and was literally empty on a Saturday afternoon which we expected to be full. That immediately set our expectations low. The layout is very odd and seems like they are working with what they got. We ordered few items on the menu also used their suggestion for non veg kathi roll. we got the number but wasn't sure if we need to wait there, or seated, or how long to wait etc, Not very professional, and I would expect us to be told, be seated , your order will come to your table etc, the usual courtesy stuff. We waited for a some time and finally our items started arrive in a weird order irrespective of type of dish. Readmade juice came last after they forgot about it. Tea came in the middle, and the gap between the dishes is what bothered the most... for the amount of people just us and another table we expected service to be quite fast as none of the dishes were made fresh and it should take only a few minutes of prep but it took a really long time. The place didn't have a good vibe/feeling to it.. wasn't very clean even for a newly opened place. food tasted good but nothing out of ordinary. If they fix few service, cleanliness issues this place can become successful. we are planning to try one more time in few weeks and see if they are any better.

Visited here for the first time. We like Indian food, but not as familiar with the type of street food served here. The manager/cashier just picked three dishes for us and they were all very good. Enjoyed the shaam savela which is not on the menu. We will be back.

My second time here and I am compelled to write another review. This food is amazing! Picked up a Samosa Chaat on my way home from work. The thing is, it is so much fun to eat, with all the different flavor combinations you can make with each bite. We'll be back, and soon.
