The flavors are good and varied, there are plenty of toppings to choose from and they are well organized. The religious message makes me a little uncomfortable, but hey - I'm buying a bowl of yogurt, not a bowl of whatever deity you choose to worship. I do not like the fact that they only offer styrofoam bowls. The last couple times I've gone, I've used a lightweight reusable plastic bowl from my own house. I pay a little more, but it's better than using the styrofoam. This is NOT the only self-serve Froyo place in the area, as another reviewer incorrectly stated - I would choose Josie's Frozen Yogurt in University Mall over Sweet Frog. It's the same business model (pay by weight) and their yogurt does not have any high fructose corn syrup in it, and their bowls are biodegradable.

SweetFrog is just awesome: Clean, reasonably priced, and friendly service. We just went to the Ashburn location, and my son asked for jelly beans. Poof! She ran to the back and produced some. The only challenge is limiting the toppings so your kids don't go into a sugar coma. I'm still working on that...

Should I be happy or concerned that the place smelled like bleach when I walked in? Anyway, I had been here when it opened, a couple times since and just recently. It's a good deal since you can get as much or as little of whatever flavor and whatever topping. The downside which prompted me to write this review (outside the smell factor) is that the toppings looked pretty sad this last visit. The fruit did not look fresh at all, the juice balls didn't taste fresh, instead of nicely sliced almonds, there were clumps of sadly beaten almonds. Hope this wasn't a sign of future offerings. As for the froyo, admittedly, Pinkberry is slightly better, but Sweet Frog's does satisfy the froyo craving.

Nothing special about this place other than there is no place to sit. No seats outside. I would not really call it yogurt, it taste more like Ice cream. Sneeze guards do not protect the food all the way some staff are friendly, other just stare at you while you prepare your yogurt. $.42 an ounce is kinda high. I would head on over the Pinkberry.

Lots of flavors to choose from and friendly staff. A little corwded, but that just speaks to the popularity and how so many people feel the same as I do. I don't live nearby, but if I did, I would be there all the time for sure!

I don't know why people are complaining about the religious message, when there's only two hints: "Fully Rely on God" on one of the t-shirts and on one sign, I think. It doesn't even mention which God. If you're offended by it, then definitely don't go to Jireh bakery, haha! 39cents per oz is a pretty nice deal, compared to Red Mango in Vienna's 48 cents, and it's self serve, so you can put as much or as little as you want. I usually don't notice difference between froyos (they all seem kind of the same) but I noticed some of Sweet Frog's ones were creamier than the other ones I've tried. I came here on a Monday night and there were a lot of people. I guess there are more lovers of Sweet Frog than haters! I do wish they had popping boba toppings though. :)

Is was great to see an ice cream/frozen yogurt place in the gb shopping center, and Sweet Frog definitely fit the bill. It works well for family outings as well a pit stop after work. Lots of selection that caters to pretty much anyone.

    Great fun and very yummy

This location is small, and lacks the toppings that the Gainesvill and Manassas stores offer. Also, I don't think they have as many yogurt flavors...

I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews of this place. I like creamy frozen yogurt that has that tastes like yogurt. I remember the first frozen yogurt I ever tried - a vanilla from some spot on the Stanford University quad. It was heaven. Not only was it rich and creamy, the chocolate flavor had that mild tangy flavor from the real yogurt in the blend. So wonderful. I tasted Sweet Frog's mango, taro, chocolate, cheesecake, and coconut. Cheesecake and coconut are full-fat, so I expected those to be the most creamy. They were full of flavor, but they were far from creamy. They were simply very sweet and the flavor was not delicate - it had chemical overtones - and it was incredibly cold and icy almost giving me a freeze headache. The mango was again, instantly flavorful like gum or jelly bellies but full of ice crystals. It wasn't smooth at all. It was sort of like a very icy and firm smoothie or frappaccino. Very refreshing on a hot night, but not frozen yogurt. Could it be that Sweet Frog can charge less because they use less or no dairy and yogurt and a lot more water? Their yogurt is very cold, and my husband was guessing that this might be because of the high water content in the stuff. The toppings are great, but I could shop at Giant, buy some fresh fruit and Giant brand frozen yogurt and I'll bet in a blind taste test I could win over a lot of Sweet Frog fans. I'll take TCBY any day, and if I'm in Fairfax, forget the yogurt. Milwaukee Custard reigns supreme. Now that is awesome stuff. Just a few more miles down the road. Utter bliss. After standing in line and finally getting to the toppings bar I found it very jarring to see all the "Fully Rely on God" signs. I'm not religious but have to wonder whether any god would want such signage on a franchise. So God wants me to eat icy yogurt and hand over money to the franchise owner? Hmm. Drive the extra miles and go to Milwaukee Frozen Custard. Now that's worth every penny.

I love this place but try not to go too often. Great frozen yogurt. Great flavors. Plenty of options. And fresh fruit to top it all off. Add one or two gummies and you've got a fabulous dessert. Can be VERY crowded on a summer evening, but the line moves along pretty quickly. Limited seating when those crowds descend on the place. Not particularly cheap for what you get, but for all those choices and the convenience the price doesn't keep us from coming back.

Damn these serve-yourself frozen yogurt places! But at least Sweet Frog has a selection of smaller cups like 4oz and 8 oz. sizes unlike some other places that only give you a 16 oz. cup. I think Sweet Frog's yogurt is better quality, too. And the marshmallow cream on the topping bar receives two thumbs up from me! Yeehaw.

I wish I'd never tried this place, because now I'm addicted. The fruit flavors are amazing, especially the mango and peach. Topped with nuts and fresh fruit, I can almost convince myself that this is health food. Absolutely delicious!

This is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop. There are plenty of toppings to choose from. The flavors I choose was peanut butter, red velvet and cake batter. I'm not into tart frozen yogurt so its nice to have other options. Compared to yolly-molly, this place is better.

A friend just introduced me to this place and now I'm really hooked! Totally love the coconut and the toppings are spectacular...

  • Natalie C.

All locations are delicious! I'm addicted and find it hard not to want it every single day. This location does not seem to be as crowded as Centreville. Way better and cheaper than Yolly Molly, but similar to Tutti Frutti.

This was my first experience at a Sweetfrog. I kept hearing about how awesome the froyo is. But when I got there I was shocked by the horrible pink and green and the way too many light fixtures which are all over the store. I felt like I had walked into a preppy girls handbag or a clothing store in Rehoboth. The yogurt is very tasty and the topping selection was very good, but I was totally turned off by what F.R.O.G. apparently stands for. I did not know I was walking into a Christian establishment. It was really a shock since I had not expected it and nobody had ever mentioned it before. Leave your religion out of it and continue to just provide tasty froyo.

Our absolute favorite place to go for a treat as a family. Way cheaper than Pinkberry and much more fun. My kids can get a little chocolate without going completely nuts and I always get low fat yogurt with lots of fruit, so everyone is happy. I can't believe they don't open until noon on the weekends... they lose out on a lot of traffic after morning soccer/baseball/volleyball games. That is my ONLY complaint. Love this place!!

    (5)
  • B J.

Pretty much exactly what I came to expect with self-serve frozen yogurt. Pleased with the choice of 10 flavors and lots of toppings. Crazy crowded on a Thursday night. Only issue was the line. Checkout needs to be faster. Look out for a new fro-yo place opening soon in the Gainesville / Bristow area. I'm opening it and it's gonna be AWESOME!!

  • Tina L.

I'm a huge fan of their original tart frozen yogurt. If you're more adventurous, try out all the other yummy flavors too like cappuccino, taro, etc. They change certain flavors around though so don't be surprised when they don't have your favorite flavor on a day. They have many toppings to choose from too but I usually go for some pineapple chunks, and sometimes top it off with some nutella sauce. The price is reasonable (may the the cheapest compared to all the other places?), and what got me to go back so often was the Specialicious deal for $10 for $20. I swear my coworker and I each got like a bazillion of those coupons, and would sneak out at least once a week from work for an afternoon pick me up.

Tried this for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! NoVa needs more frozen yogurt shops and this had so many great flavors. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the really loud music. I was there to visit with friends and we could hardly hear each other without screaming.

  • Dcgirl T.

I love this place. Kept saying I was gonna stop and check it out cause the frog is so cute it caught my eye. Simple; get small medium or large cup, fill it with one of about 12-15 flavors; I only remember what I considered: banana, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and cappuccino. About 20 toppings and 8 sauces available. I ended up with cappuccino and chocolate topped with almonds and almond granola. It was so good! Stopped again late Friday but the line was out the door...maybe next week.

I love frozen yogurt here, there no complain about this place. Everything just perfect and their frozen yogurt is amazing. Totally recommend to anyone who have never try their yogurt before.

This is the best froyo concept I've ever been to. I used to tell my bf that I would miss my beloved Forever Yogurt the most in Chicago, and he would babble something about SweetFrog. Whatevs, right? Ok, he was right. SweetFrog is not only delicious, but is too cute to handle. Besides having the usual flavors, they have some fun options for toppings too. Mango bursting balls? So fun. The mochi is extra sweet and chewy and they also have crushed thin mints. Major dietfail.

  • Jane P.

My favorite Sweet Frog location! The frozen yogurt is always on point in taste & texture. They have a great variety of types of frozen yogurt including sherbet & gelato. They also have the most in variety of flavors including seasonal flavors such as Pumpkin pie. The toppings are usually fresh & fully stocked. Customer service is always friendly & inviting. I personally always stick to original tart & now sea salt caramel which is AMAZING! I usually top my frozen yogurt with fruit & sometimes mochi & chocolate or brownie bits.

This is my favorite-Sweet frog yogurt. And my kids really enjoy ...when I took them here. So clean, they have lots of taste fro-yo... Chocolate yogurt, mango yogurt, watermelon yogurt, vanilla yogurt ... more and more, I love original yogurt, yummyyyyyyyy !!!

  • Angela B.

Loved this place when it first opened. Came here last week for some frozen yogurt. This place is a mad house depending on when you come. There are usually a bunch of children running free without their parents. The parking is usually tight and busy. The frozen yogurt was Ok nothing special. I feel like this place was a lot better when it first opened up. I'd rather go to Cold stone instead.

    (2)
  • Ching H.

This location is always packed, loud, and not the cleanest. However...The froyo is always so good and refreshing. Make sure to try the new gelato flavors, salted caramel and hazelnut! Both are so delish, not sure if I think they actually taste like gelato though or just frozen yogurt! Don't be shy, and ask the staff for some sample cups! The service is always good, these people radiate kindess. Love sweet frog! Tart, coconut, pomegranate, mango are some of my favorite flavors :)

    (4)
  • Sutton P.

I only eat the original flavor when it comes to froyo and I am very very picky. The yogurt at sweet frog is the perfect texture and has the perfect amount of tartness to it. Their brownie bites are heavenly and all fruits are fresh. Definitely one of my favorite snacking locations.

  • Brandi K.

Clean place with friendly staff. They have lots of tasty fro-yo flavors - I can always find something I'll like. The toppings area is kept clean, organized and topped-off. There are plenty of places to sit, so even when there is a rush you can usually find a table. To note, this establishment is smack-dab in the middle of about 5 elementary schools so it's CRAWLING with families with young children. I'm definitely a fan of this place, but I'm an even bigger fan of Zinga (Franklin Farms) that isn't too far away. They just seem to have more flavors that I prefer, more toppings including "bottomz"!!

    (4)
  • Kimberly K.

Sooo good! Awesome flavors and toppings. Self service. Seating is available but it gets packed in here. Cashiers are friendly. The froyo is smooth, cool, refreshing and not too sweet. We were able to try Mango, Watermelon, Strawberry, Banana, and Georgia Peach. All the flavors tasted natural except the Mango.

We all know this place is yummy! How to get in and out of busy shopping center? For Greg M Southriding,VA: Take the right into Plaza Lane before the shopping center Cross in Front of the REMAX State Farm office building. Hooray you are there with no speed bumps. Park before Dunkin Donuts. Click that Google map man if you don't believe me. Also please Keep a Slow profile last thing we want is for the Speed Bump Overlords to close our secret shortcut. This message will self destruct in.... Sweet Frog has the best Nuts! best toppings! best Mascot! Minus 1 star for Styrofoam. Sorry I loath the sound and taste of Styrofoam. Please bring back the paper bowls. Update: This Sweet Frog is better than other sweet frogs because they use a little less sugar. I got gelato, peanut butter and chocolate. With a little less sugar I can load up on my Fav Five toppings. Also I like to cover my cup in almond dust.

One of the best frozen yogurt places I've been! Lots of flavor options, that are always rotating based on the season. They yogurt it self is really good as well. It's not too watery like some frozen yogurt places I've been to. Also, they let you sample as many flavors as you want, which is always a plus since there are so many to choose from. They also have pretty much all the toppings you can think of, which is great. It's 48 cents an once, which I think is a tad high but it's still my favorite place to go by far, so worth the extra couple cents.

  • Amanda B.

Best self-serve frozen yogurt in Virginia. Seriously. They have at least 14 different flavors to choose from and then an amazing variety of fresh fruits, candy, cereal, exotic toppings (mochi, fruit jellies, etc), and the run of the mill icecream sprinkles and fudge type stuff. The cake batter and cookies and cream flavors are a must try and speaking of.... you can try every flavor if you want before you decide to put any in your cup, you can't be disappointed, you know what you are getting and just as much as you want too. The price can't be beat either... why pay $7 for a cup of icecream you can't finish, when you can pay just a few dollars for just the right amount with any and every topping you want without being nickled and dimed. The religious thing I could do without, but they aren't sitting there and beating bibles over your head, they just have a few signs with the meaning of FROG (FullyRelyOnGod) and tshirts, so what, that's their choice.

I didn't really get into the whole Fro-Yo craze...but I have to admit, the experience here is pretty awesome. Any place that let's the little people in my life feel happy just driving by is alright with me. My son can spot a Sweet Frog location from clean across the highway lol. He already knows what he wants when he walks in. And he comes up with the most insane concoctions. I try to time our visits before a play date or outside time so that he can burn it off. Most of the time, we get lucky and he doesn't even want to eat the whole thing lol. He is just excited to get to pick his own cup, pick his flavor, and make silly colors with all the toppings. But! If you guys don't get those green spoons back in this location you are going to have one ticked off 4 year old next time. He talked about not getting his customary green spoon for a week lol. I might just have to get a pack from Party City and keep them in the car just in case.

I went there with my 2 kids, my daughter likes they have the real whip cream in the can. It was not there and I asked the lady at the register. She didn't say a word, just went in the back and put out a can. Then I asked for sample cup, she didn't say a word, and just handed me the cups. Bad attitude, I enjoy their competitors much better who welcome you when you arrive. This place made me feel like they were doing me a favor. Not any hellos, thank you or enjoy by that particular employee at least (Saturday afternoon). Yogurt is on par with the rest of the area froyo places. What I don't like is how the line stacks up because you can't go around a slowpoke - I would reconfigure the setup so you can have access to the toppings on 2 sides. I don't enjoy for that reason since I have young kids who are a little slow in choosing their toppings and I feel uncomfortable when we're holding up the line. Not going back based on yesterday's experience and the other reviewers who wanted yogurt a half hour before closing time and met with an attitude. That will catch up to this business after a while. Gotta keep the customers happy, else why bother opening one of these stores?

  • Paula M.

Delicious and lots of fun! We love trying the new flavors and our containers always end up piled high. The toppings are great, lots of selection. It is clean and the staff are friendly. Our kids aged 3 - 10 all love to get a Sweet Frog outing.

  • Amanda K.

I will have to say this place is great for the calories and the the taste is delicious too. I liked the toppings bar since there is a lot to choose from. Be forewarned of the soccer moms who bring in massive amount of kids who take over everything! Annoying!! TIP: Try before you buy with sample cups.

  • Jess Y.

NOM NOM NOM. Self-serve (which is both dangerous and exciting at the same time) including the toppings. LOVE that they actually give you a choice on the size of container (unlike a lot of other self-serve places I've been to). Lots of flavors to choose from...I ended up getting the Cappuccino (since I am basically a coffee addict) and the Original. Toppings range from candy, mochi, fruit, cereal, and other goodies. But, the only topping you NEED to know about is the TOASTED COCONUT. Seriously, delicious. And, it's like virtually free if you think about how much coconut weighs. Really great crisp, toasty flavor that you can add to any froyo. Although being self-serve is awesome...it also seems to make froyo more expensive.

  • Mike B.

This place not only had the great Pumpkin Froyo! But they also had gelato, making this the best Sweetfrog on earth!

  • John D.

Seemed OK to me. Each of the flavors does have corn syrup (not HFCS), so something to keep in mind. I went on a Tuesday night at 9pm, and it felt like I was in a high school cafeteria. There was a line out the door with obnoxious high school kids, it was a little annoying. The yogurt has no tartness, however. I'm curious of how many active cultures are actually in it. In fact, there's no mention of it on their site that I could find. This could possibly be nothing more than soft serve ice cream. The topping bar is lacking in the fresh fruit category, as it's mostly geared toward candy-ish items. I think that I might prefer this place to Red Mango, as I just don't care for the taste of Stevia that Red Mango uses. Tough call. I'm aware that FROG stands for Fully Rely on God. I was expecting there to be crosses on the walls and shrines in each corner. There's none of that, thankfully. You wouldn't know it if you hadn't read the reviews before going in.

  • Adam L.

The line here is typically long and there's def a reason why... Lots of tasty make it yourself froyo flavors (both nonfat and fatty), plus a huge assortment of fruit, cookie, & candy toppings, and a very friendly staff. But the line moves fast and you never really feel rushed - just a little sometimes when you have antsy parents of hyper gradeschoolers behind you or that curmudgeon who has no patience - but really that's not SweetFrog's fault. Overall a super family-friendly, delicious, yet affordable froyo place with a lot of business in a small space. And they have a rewards program! Yippee!

  • Vivian D.

I can't believe this store has a higher overall rating than Red Mango. Wtf?! This is why I don't trust reviews from people--- everyone is either stupid or has very poor taste. The yogurt flavors here do not taste like how you would expect yogurt flavors to taste. They taste less like yogurt and more like ice cream--- very artificial and overtly sweet...like someone had dumped a can of syrup in there, just really really nasty. The toppings choices are disgusting and unhealthy because they comprised mainly of candies and sweets. They don't have many fruit toppings and the ones they have look very unappetizing and not fresh at all. Also, they have no wifi and the way they label the calories for their yogurt is really weird. They would label "140 for one serving" and then beneath that they would write "1 serving = 4 ounces"...so now you have to do mental math if you want to know how many calories you are consuming per ounce. It's just so complicated and I feel like they could have easily helped the customers out by being more direct and just state how many calories per ounce, you know? I feel like it's also a psychological thing...so people will buy more yogurt if the serving size is 4 oz...I don't know. Also speaking of calories, I think they are lying about the calories for the froyo and that it's actually higher. At least it tasted like it, I don't know.... What I do know is that I came in very excited to try this new froyo place due to the hype and left feeling the 3 D's: disgusted, disappointed & distressed. Grossgrossgrossgross. Stay away.

A fun little yogurt place that is easy to navigate and easy to understand for the little ones. It was clean and the service was always cleaning and making sure the counter stayed free of food. Great place to bring kids and we'll be back.

This "froyo" favorite is not new to Virginia, but this particular location is the first in northern Virginia and now happily serves the NOVA area! Hours: Mon-Thurs: 11:30am to 10pm Fri-Sat: 11:30am-11pm Sun: 1pm-10pm Price point: $.39 per ounce! This place is ALL self-serve. They have a total of 12 frozen yogurt and ice cream-like flavors AND you can even swirl the 2 flavors side-by-side! I don't really care for the other flavors like: Dulce de Leche, Cake Batter, etc. They tend to have more of the consistency and taste of ice cream rather than frozen yogurt which is why their "Original Tart" frozen yogurt is my personal favorite. Other notable mentions: Taro, Coconut, Cappucino. They have the BIGGEST selection of toppings, ice cream fudge syrups and sauces, and they even have NUTELLA as a topping. What?! I think I'm in love with you, Sweet Frog! You name it, they've got it! You will feel like "a kid in a candy store" and overwhelmingly happy trying to decide and make space for all the toppings and fixings in their generous "toadally-awesome" cups. This Princess and the Sweet Frog = a Happily Ever After customer =-)

Many flavors of frozen yogurt plus way too much sugar plus lots of little girls equals a father's hope for a short visit. However, their enjoyment is worth it. My input for this copy of SweetFrog is limited to the location specifics. It's in an extremely compact, busy and high traffic shopping plaza. It makes parking difficult and motivates you to keep tight on your kids hands. The store is mostly clean, but due to the customer volume, it's crowded, can be unkempt, and hard to navigate with small kids. No doubt SweetFrog is a hit, but this particular copy has some drawbacks, we opt for the Brambleton location. Should be a three but the volume gives a hit.

Pretty good if you're willing to pay less for mediocre yogurt. This place is clearly a rip off of Pinkberry, especially since they decided to use the same color scheme. The decor is crowded and over done. The multitude of cloud-shaped lamps hang low enough that if you aren't paying attention you'll hit your head on one. The yogurt was terrible. I taste tested almost all of them. The caramel and coffee were so sweet that I wanted to spit it back out. It was like that sad moment when you realize that you put too much sugar in your coffee and it's no longer edible. I ended up going with mango and original mixed. The mango destroyed the entire thing. You can tell that it's from concentrate and water based because it just doesn't taste like real mango. The orignal was OK but that's a little hard to mess up. I'll give them props on their toppings since there was such a large array, especially with their assorted syrups. But whats the point of having good toppings if the yogurt sucks? I'd say if you want to have your froyo fill quickly and inexpensively you can come here but don't plan on staying because the seats are too close together and it gets really crowded/loud quickly.

Frozen yogurt on a hot day is fantastic. But I won't lie, I like Sweet Frog any time of the year. I love the self-serve option. I feel I get more for my money this way (unlike some places that start with the letter P and end with berry). Sweet Frog has a great variety of flavors to choose from and they have a fairly extensive toppings and sauce bar. I love the Mango frozen yogurt. Great/fast service too. Staff is friendly. Almost as good as Yogurtland (if you're from Cali you'd understand). I'll keep coming back for my fro yo fix!

Probably the best omulti-pump froyo joint I have ever been to. Most of these sorts of places really lack in flavor and low quality froyo, but the 5 flavors I sampled at Sweet Frog were all robust and delicious. Not only did they have a wide variety of flavors on the pumps, their toppings were even more extensive than most places. Every time I have driven by I have seen how packed it is and I can vouch this is not unwarranted.

If you want healthful, all-natural frozen yogurt with lots of fruit options for toppings... Go to a different froyo place. If you want delicious, sugary, naughty flavors and disgustingly amazing candy treat topics that taste like awesomesauce but make you feel like a fat pig afterward, go to Sweet Frog. Seriously though, this place IS good. They have a peanut butter froyo for crying out loud. Toppings include Twix, s'mores, cookie dough and a host of other sugary cereals, candy bars, chocolate sauces and sexy sweets. Yeah, they have some fruit, but most of it looked unappetizing, and the variety was MUCH smaller on the fruit than similar shops. The candy-to-fruit topping availability is something like 30:5. I personally prefer somewhere a little more mature (this is some weird place with religious messages and little screaming kids everywhere... very, VERY weird atmosphere) for my froyo, somewhere that cares a bit more about my health and that isn't pandering to toddlers. (For your reference, Red Mango is my favorite because it's about 30 calories per ounce with all-natural ingredients and tons of exotic fruit options.) But in the end, the regular-espresso-peanut butter combo topped with Twix and Heath that I had pretty much creating a screaming frogasm in my mouth. So I can complain, but really... I can't complain.

Of all the "serve yourself" frozen yogurt places in the area Sweet Frog is the Gold standard against which all other places are judged against. If you want proof just stop by this location in the middle of summer, there is always a line out the door down past the Dunkin Donuts next door waiting to get in. (One thing the owner of this location should do is try to add more seating and make sure the staff is more diligent about keeping the tables cleaned. It isn't easy given the volume they do.)

Frozen yogurt places seem to be popping up everywhere in the past few years but my favorite kind will always be the self-serve style shops like this one. Sweet Frog has a nice array of flavours to choose from like the classic tart, vanilla and chocolate, to more exotic flavours like coconut, thin mint and dairy-free strawberry. For 39 cents/ounce, you can mix and match as many flavours as you want and put on as many toppings as you want, and speaking of toppings, this place has the largest array of toppings and sauces I've come across which was a nice surprise. Overall, I liked Sweet Frog. The decor, with pastel pink and green walls and the like, made me feel like I was inside a vera bradley bag or if Vineyard Vines decided to foray into food, but I got used to it after a while. They were playing lots of top 40 pop too which made the place very upbeat and popular with a younger crowd from the area. The frozen yogurt itself was good. The tart yogurt was not tart enough for my taste but the other flavours I tried were all solid; I especially liked the honeydew. The wide variety of toppings, as I mentioned, made the night for me though. The staff was also very nice and courteous. On a final note, some people were bashing on how there's a Christian emphasis at this place. From my perspective, if I hadn't been reading the T-shirts hanging on the wall for sale and not noticed the one out of many shirts which had the "Fully Rely on God (FROG)" design, I never would have noticed the Christian influence. I feel the brouhaha about this issue is way, way out of proportion and people need to take a breath and let things pass. I'm not a religious individual and did not feel one bit uncomfortable here and you shouldn't feel uncomfortable either. Come for the frozen yogurt; stay for the lively atmosphere.

Self-Serve? Check. A wonderfully large selection of flavors? Check. An even more wonderful and organized topping bar? Check. Sweet atmosphere and just as sweet employees? Check and check. On this froyo trip, I packed in FOUR different flavors into my cup, all of which happened to be favorites I had seen scattered around other froyo shops. Cake Batter! Sweet Coconut! TARO! AND Red Velvet - a huge winner. Those exclamation marks are no exaggeration, I am just that excited about those froyo flavors. If none of those tickle your fancy, they have many more to choose from. I rarely ever add toppings to my froyo, but with all the fruit, syrup, and candy options I had at my disposal, I just couldn't resist. Coconut shavings, soft brownie chunks, cheesecake squares, and Butterfingers pieces were also crammed into my cup. All that goodness for $3 (.43 cents an ounce!) Sweet Frog = so sweet to me. I can't wait to go back!

I'm a Sweet Frog addict and at one time, was the Mayor on FourSquare. Seriously. They are hands down my favorite froyo joint out of all of them in the DC metro. I can almost always find a flavor I love and the toppings are bountiful and delish. The little poppers are amazing and so are the gummy frogs. It is true this place swarms with kids during certain times but they normally do a good job at keeping the place cleaned and wiped down. I was MASSIVELY disappointed when I went in the other day and for the first time, half of the dispensers were OUT OF ORDER. Huh!?! So unlike Sweet Frog. I give them 4/5 stars for this and for not putting their weekly flavors on their FB page. I've asked a million times and perhaps would come here more if they did this.

I went to this place with my brother and his family. Pretty good. Lots of different flavors from sweet to tarty. Also, lots of toppings to choose from - fruits, candy, different syrups galore =). This day, I chose cake batter. I loved it. It kind of tasted a bit like red velvet ice cream without the cocoa part. I ate with with white chocolate chips and cookie dough. So good! Another thing I liked about this place is that they have a sink by the ice cream dispensers which is very useful since people always get messy with dispensing ice cream you know?? So always good to have nice clean hands to enjoy your froyo. The servers are nice and very friendly so that's always a plus. Why 4 stars? Only because I've been to the land of froyo that is California =) where the froyo places have tons of flavors and even more toppings. So yeah... I'll definitely come here again when I'm in the area =). Woohoo!

I give this sweet frog 5 stars because it's the BEST FROYO PLACE!! It's never ever melts right after you put all your flavors and toppings on I love sweet frog I go here very often! Additionally you basically put everything yourself which is nice because you can control the amount you want and they have unlimited toppings you can put including whip cream&sauces for example( caramel) Honestly I totally recommend this place for any FROYO LOVERS OUT THERE! Never ever turned down a sweet frog people! You just can't!!!

THAT WAS SOOO DELICIOUS! My friend lives in the area and ever since Sweet Frog opened she's been raving about it; yesterday it was finally time for me to try it. We arrived at the not-so-big store and the line was coming out of the door, but we waited. Patiently. You pick a cup size, you pick all the froyo flavors you want, go craaaazzzyy with the toppings, and then be ready to enjoy an awesome cup of deliciousness afterwards :D

This place is a great place to get a refreshing dessert. There are numerous of flavors, something to suit anyone. My favorite yogurt flavors so far: dulce de leche, cookies and cream, and mango. It's self serve, costing 39 cents per ounce, so you can get as little as you want or as much as you want, but careful because you can end up with a ten dollar bowl after you are finished adding the toppings. Note guys, gals love this place. The guy to gal ratio here? One to six, maybe? From a girls point of view, if you had a bad start to your date and wanted to redeem yourself, take your gal here (do not if shes lactose intolerant)! Considering the ratio I observed today, if you want to meet a girl, this place is the new IT place=P This place is probably less expensive than pink berry if you are on a budget....but not if you have a BIG appetite or if your eyes are bigger than your stomach;) Did I mention they have great toppings?!?!?!

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is the right location that I went to, but regardless, I just don't understand the hype. Maybe I'm spoiled with soCal's years and years of frozen yogurt expertise, but this is not how frozen yogurt is supposed to taste. Like all self-serve froyo, it's obviously cheaper than big chains like Pinkberry and probably cheaper than Red Mango. But that does not justify its lack of frozen yogurtness. Hate to bag on NOVA, but I've had bad froyo, and then I had Sweet Frog and realized THIS is what "bad" really tastes like. The line was out the door... ...FOR THIS!! I got the taro because my sister's boyfriend went out of his way to call each location to make sure they had it. He said I absolutely had to try SF's rendition of taro! I love taro, but I was disappointed because it wasn't tart-y (how froyo SHOULD taste), it was like ice cream! Super creamy, too sweet. I mean, if you like soft serve ice cream...you might as well come here. No judgment. I'm just saying that I like my froyo crisp and tart. So SF is possibly a good choice if you like ice cream. I guess. ALSO, I came home with a disappointed face and my sister's boyfriend's younger brother told me I got the wrong flavor. "You have to try cake batter. You HAVE TO," he demanded. So maybe I just got the wrong flavor. Although I did try the original as well and it was just alright. Oddly not a big fruit selection for toppings, but a ton of other unhealthy options, with HFCS-injected, blue 1, yellow 6, red 3, rainbow 287, etc, etc ingredients. And two different types of mochi-- pastel colored, and plain white. Really, Sweet Frog? Really? Shall I continue? No, I'll just end with one final question: How can you expect frozen yogurt to taste good when the name of this store is Sweet Frog? Yuck.

Love this place! Best fro-yo in comparison to others that I've tried - tastes like (really good) ice cream and the plus factor is that it's good for you. Every flavor is delish but my faves are the indulgent ones (IE, Toasted Marshmallow). Every topping you could desire. Mmm, Nutella :-)

  • Ingrid K.

Love the wide variety of frozen yogurts here... it is always jam packed. My favorite flavors are Tropical Banana and the original Tart yogurt. I think they need to move into a bigger space with more seating to accommodate the crowds.

AMAZING frozey yogurt. I'm not a fan of the blu or pink berry brand of frozen yogurt. I like mine creamy, delicious, and like ice cream. That being said, you can't ask more of a frozen yogurt spot than sweet frog delivers. The first time I had it was down in Charlottesville, VA and I was hooked. When I saw a location coming up to my area I literally staked it out stopping in periodically until it opened. They have a huge and ever changing variety of flavors and every topping I could think of. They also put some thought into their swirl combinations and they're usually a good look. I loves me some SWEET FROG! The people that work there are usually young kids but from my experience they are really friendly and they do their jobs well unlike many other places that employ high school age teenagers. Lastly, like Chick Fil A, I like that it's a Christian company (Frog stands for Fully Rely on God).

Alright, before I begin I must warn you that I come from a land where frozen yogurt is about as common as sunshine. That would be because I live in California where the health conscious have convinced themselves that fro-yo is good for your well being. So, with that said, this place is okay. I've certainly had better, but it's nice to finally have a fro-yo place in Greenbriar. Price is standard for the weight, and there's plenty of toppings. The owners haven't seemed to master the texture of a dang good frozen yogurt, but considering this is the only self-serve froyo place in the area, it's no big deal. The kids will love it since you can choose your own toppings and I foresee many a pee-wee soccer team celebration to be had here with all the ample seating.

I am picky about my frozen yogurt places but I do like this one. They are clean, variety and the frozen yogurt tastes good. I think the staff is friendly and I can usually get in and out quickly... granted I usually go during the mid-day and have not been since school is out for the summer. I like the cute decor.

Best frozen yogurt place I've been to ever! They have the best selection of yogurt and lots to choose from. The place is clean and the staff friendly.

At .39 cents per ounce, this is one of the cheapest and tastiest froyo establishments in VA! If you like self serve and toppings, this is the place for you. On a typical day, they have about ten unique flavors on hand. You can find everything from egg nog to mint cookie. I typically stick to the plain tart and mango though. The toppings bar is one of the most extensive I've seen.

The froyo is the best around. Literally second to absolutely none! Awesome place for kids to meet up. Finally something nice for kids to do. For all the "religious comments". Are you all fucking joking me or what? Get a life. The fucking money you bought your froyo says "IN GOD WE TRUST~~~~~BITCHES!" Take your righteous asses back to Woodstock or San Fran and smoke some weed.

I love Sweet Frog. What ever flavor you get you must put that damn mochi on it. Mochii makes it real good being chewy and all. hehe

Please explain to me why someone thinks it is good for business to shove personal opinions down your throat over frozen yogurt? When someone is selling a product they will have consumers of many different backgrounds and beliefs. I know we have freedom of speech in this country but I know for a fact if I opened a store where I posted my beliefs in it I would not hear the end of it. Shame, I liked the yogurt, I just feel that if someone really "relied on God" they would not have to constantly shove it other peoples faces especially over dairy products.

  • Brenda D.

Maybe I came on a bad day and picked the wrong flavor, but this was the worst frozen yogurt I've EVER had! The strawberry yogurt was still icy from the machine, literally like eating chunks of ice. The mango flavor was also really sour. They had your typical variety of toppings, but didn't have any blueberries =( And they had these things called juice poppers which is hollow except when you bite into it, a squirt of sour juice comes out. Weird...but anways, the decor and service was good. Plenty of seating and I like the whole by the ounce approach.

  • Tom G.

Why, why, why do you have to inject religion into commerce? Jesus would just give me the froyo, and waive the 39 cent an ounce fee. Stop trying to emulate the right wing nutjobs at Chik Fil A with your styrofoam death cups and take down your stupid God signs. There is no mention in the old or new Testament of self service frozen yogurt. If Elijah and John the Baptist could not foresee this micro-trend then it should not be coupled with anything holy. You could be serving the finest product in the world, but as soon as I saw your signs about FROG standing for "Fully Reliant on God", you became fully reliant on other customers, as I won't give you another dime.

Tangy? No. Tarty? No. Sweet? Overly. If you're looking for cheap, low-fat, ice cream-like, fro-yo than please come here because it is definitely not tarty or tangy like other Fro-yo places! I tried the taro, strawberry, sweet coconut, and original tart and all of them did not taste like fro-yo at all except for the original which had a little tartness/tangyness to it. They were all basically low-fat ice cream with fruit flavors that were also overly sweet. I left the place feeling very dissatisfied and somewhat angry with what I had put into my body. My craving for fro-yo was definitely not satisfied so we left to go to Tyson's JUST to pick up REAL fro-yo from Fruity Yogurt. If you've had Taro from there, you would complain about the taro at Sweet Frog too. The only plus here is that it's only 39 cents an ounce which is really cheap! But I would not come here again just for the cheap price and get imitation fro-yo.

This is probably my favorite frozen yogurt place in all of NoVa. They have a great concept where it is essentially self serve. The walls line up with devices where you just pull the handle and the froyo comes out. There are MANY flavors to choose from and you will find a hard time not finding one that doesn't peak your interest! Personally, I got a swirl of strawberry kiwi + coconut, plain flavor, and strawberry froyo. I only got rasberry toppings. Their froyo flavors can range from Dulce de Leche to Red relvet! They price it according to weight here. The interior is standard design of any frozen yogurt place: brightly colorful walls, white ikea lamps, etc. There is also seating out in the front. This is a popular hot spot for high schoolers and families. Due to the fact that it IS so popular is a downside because the line can get a bit long but I would consider this as a place where "the wait is worth it". The price for their smallest (which was still REALLY big) was around 5~ for me. This is great. I could have easily shared this with another person. Love Sweet Frog!!

As I have stated previously in my other reviews of fro yo, I'm a total fro yo freak! I know when it's good and I know when it's bad. Let me tell ya, this place is darn good! Lets get right down to it shall we? You can tell that every flavor is fresh and nothing tastes identical. If there are powders and additives then they got me good because I'm convinced it's all super fresh and made with real fruit and yogurt. I tried a few different flavors. Cake batter is great. The pineapple is so refreshing. The coconut is my fave! I put only mochi topping on top. The only way to go if you ask me. The places that carry the mochi as a topping get a special place in my non asian but love anything asian little heart : P The are like little rice pillows of heaven. Trust me. When you walk in the atmosphere is super fun, light and cute with all the frogs and pink theme around you. They sell shirts, which is pretty cool. I almost bought one and then realized I'm not 12 so I passed. In my head I was wearing one though : P Also, clean place and bathroom super clean. That's important people! That place gets a lot of kids in there so trust me, it's important. The shop is big too. Good amount of seating. Some of these places are just too small to accommodate everyone who wants to eat there but this is huge in comparison to the rest of them. Something funny that we noticed while eating at sweet frog is that frog is some sort of reference to God. This place is like a Christian/God themed fro yo shop. The only thing that gives it away is one style of shirt that spells out frog as an acronym for Fully Rely On God. The other shirts didn't have it though. I don't get it but maybe it is a draw for the church goers around town. The 3 of us Jews that went thought it was ironic that this place was all about God and seemingly a Christian God, was playing Justin Timberlake's "Rock your Body" over the intercom hahaha! We noticed when the lyrics, "gonna have you naked by the end of this song" came on. Super funny! Oxy moron if you ask me but thought it was a fantastic one! Will be back again to try more flavors, did I mention they have like 10! Love the self serve approach. Can't wait to hear more odd songs to be played at this particular fro yo place lol.

Great Froyo, great selection of flavors, SELF SERVE is key, they're very clean, a wondeful selection of topings and the staff is very nice. This is a good place to go to when you're in the mood for something cold, sweet and not filling. This is also a great place to bring kids and friends. My only complaint is that a lot of the flavors taste too much like ice cream not so much like frozen yogurt and I am a big fan of frozen yogurt. All and all a great place and have returned many times and shall be returning soon.

This is my new favorite froyo place! I like it better than Pinkberry's because its cheaper (if you eat an average amount), the flavors are more selective, and the self-service allows you to go crazy with toppings including chocolate chips, mochi, coconut flakes, cereal, marshmallows, and even Nutella and fruit syrups! My personal favorite flavors are Taro (yes its a vegetable, but I guarantee you'll fall in love with its unique and refreshing flavor), coconut (not very coconut-y but still good), and Cappuccino (what? I love coffee!). I tried most of the flavors by sampling them, hehe. For toppings, I always add coconut flakes (not too heavy and adds great texture), mochi (so good with the taro and coconut froyo). Some flavors I personally don't like are the cookie and creme froyo: doesn't have any oreos in it, cake batter: gets sickening after a few bites, and cheesecake: personally don't like turning it into a froyo flavor. One yelper mentioned that the froyo here didn't taste like authentic froyo... Well to that, I wanted to say that some of us don't love really tangy yogurt and would prefer something that is lighter and more up to date than ice cream. The interior decorations at Sweet Frog are so cute. There are hanging lanterns and the green & pink theme is very kiddie, relaxing, and nostalgic all at the same time. This is definitely my favorite froyo place!

I'm not the most religious person either but frankly I go here for the yogurt. I have to give BIG KUDOS for the non-dairy strawberry kiwi. My son has been allergic to Dairy since he was a little baby. We always go to Rita's because its the only ice cream place that doesn't have dairy. Sweet Frog started offering a non-dairy yogurt about 2-3 (?) months ago and it is amazing! Its the first Non-Dairy Yogurt that we've tried that actually tastes good! My son actually finished his whole bowl. I have 3 kids, so to finally have a place that my son can eat with us is AMAZING! The rest of us like: Cappuccino & Mango.

It is self-service yogurt place. great place to cool-off hot weather these days. It is in a good location, but it is little bit awkward to go around because how the plaza built around. Always crowded by teenagers and parents after school.

I was never really a fan of these yogurt shops, but after being convinced by some friends to give this place I try, my opinion is changing. Sweet frog seems to have a little better selection of yogurts and toppings than their other yogurt counterparts. I like that they have some good low-fat and fat free options as well to counter-balance the toppings bar! I think they seem to be a bit cheaper too. It's a nice, convenient little yogurt shop. They're always pretty packed with young teens so it can be a bit annoying to go in there sometimes, but it's pretty good overall.

Visited the Greenbrier location last week (in the shopping center with Giant, Ross, and Marshall's). OMG, this is my new go-to treat! SweetFrog is delf-serve. When you walk in, head to the back, grab a dish from the left and walk over to the Wall of Yogurt, equipped with large yogurt machines (like you'd see in any yogurt shop - just pull down the lever and yogurt comes out in a big ribbon). Choose your flavor from Original Tart, Chocolate, Vanilla, Mango, Peach, Peanut Butter, Dulce de Leche, Cake Batter, Cookies&Cream, then turn right for the toppings bar. A wide selection of fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple, banana, and more) plus every candy topping you can imagine - candy pieces, M&Ms, marshmallows, cookie pieces, brownie pieces... the list goes on and on! See the toppings list here: sweet-frog.com/menu.php I'm a big fan of Original Tart. My daughter got Cookies & Cream (which I thought was just ok) and we also tried Cake Batter (excellent), Mango (yummy) and Peanut Butter (would be awesome with some chocolate chips mixed in!). They have small sample cups so you have a little taste - just ask at the counter. Please note: the yogurt comes out of the machine fast, so pull the lever down gently. We love Iceberry (tart yogurt + toppings) but it is SO expensive. For 4 smalls with 1 topping it runs nearly $20. Sweet Frog charges by the ounce, you can get as much (or as little) as you can afford. I got a small cup about 1/3 full with kiwi and raspberries, and it was under $2.50 (I went back for seconds later, tee hee). Warning: if you have children, you're going to want to supervise, since the toppings bar is completely open and they could totally load up on candy toppings! The only downside at SweetFrog is the dishes - they are styrofoam, which is disappointingly not eco-friendly. They also have a large sign at checkout that says "Fully Relying On God" (the acronym being FROG). That seemed a little pushy with the religion but won't deter me from visiting again. This would be a great dessert after dinner at Buffalo Wing Factory nearby ( yelp.com/biz/buffalo-win… ).

I am at Sweet Frog way more than I care to admit, and here is why: 1. Large, almost overwhelming selection of yogurts to choose from! My favorites are the Island Coconut, Taro and Original 2. Large, almost overwhelming selection of toppings to choose from! My favorites are mochi, mango, coconut, and the short-lived coconut gel. 3. Self-serve yogurl and toppings - very fun and convenient but be careful or you will find yourself with a $9 cup of froyo at the end of it all HOWEVER, in generaI I find that the yogurt has too much sweetness not enough tartness/tangyness for me and the texture is kind of off (still prefer Pinkberry or Red Mango.) But I still do love the place.

  • Maggie M.

Self serve frozen yogurt plus a gazillion different toppings, what more can a girl ask for? My favorite flavors are coconut and strawberry! To die for. The place does get packed daily and yes there will be a line, but the "sweet" thing about it usually moves rather quickly and compared to other frozen yogurt places Sweet Frog is the cheapest. So get in line grab a cup / bowl and filler up! U can't go wrong with any of they're flavors. They have plenty to choose from. So grab the kids, the dog, the cat, and everyone else in the family cause its a great hang out spot for them too! ENJOY!

What's to complain about this place except for the subliminal God messages in their shop? They have over 10 different flavors of froyo, followed by a ridiculous amount of toppings (fruits and candies galore) then 8 different syrups, including Nutella!!! Girlfriend and I always go in there, and I always get the fruit toppings, she gets the candy topping, and both of our cups are always delicious! As for these stupid God symbols all over food, it's quite funny because the Bible is against it: Matthew 6:5-6: "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men....when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou has shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret...." Places like here, Chick-Fil-A and In 'N' Out and other places love putting secret subliminal religious messages all over their food. Who cares? If they feel better because they feel like they can cram food and God in one meal, that's fine. However, I'm a former Christian, turned Atheist, and I don't care! I'll go to Chick-Fil-A, then for dessert go get some Sweet Frog, and enjoy my food because it tastes good, and is healthy for me, especially for fast food! If there was a KKK breakfast place around here that served bomb ass pancakes, I'd go there for breakfast as long as they didn't try to pull me aside after every meal and try to cram their views down my throat...

Top 3 Reasons for a 5 star rating: 1) Self-serve fro-yo....AWESOME! 2) Numerous delicious flavors and fresh toppings!! 3) (FROG) Fully-Reliant-On-God ---- all the more reason to support Sweet Frog!!!

  • Akua O.

I really like this place for one reason, and one reason alone: They are the ONLY froyo spot I know of (red mango, pink berry, etc) that just lets you pile on whatever you want! Because you pay by the ounce, there is no limit. And for what I pay $10 for at pink berry, I can get the same amount with a nice portion of toppings for $5 at Sweet Frog! I am a big fan of their traditional tart, mango, and strawberry. Not a big fan of the ice-creamy flavors, and thats because I think frozen yogurt should be yogurt,...not red velvet cake. o_O Anyway, its still really good, and i like the simplicity of their business model!

  • Kelly H.

Very good quality frozen yogurt. My favorites are the original tart and the coconut. No toppings necessary, although there are plenty to choose from. I do find it creepy they are so outwardly religious in their branding and signage, but it's not like the staff tries to convert you. They just are proud of their faith, and I say good for them! If they pick up the gay bashing with the folks at chick fil a, I will change my position.

  • Bryan N.

This is exactly what you want in a Fro-Yo place: *many flavors of yogurt to choose from *MANY toppings to choose from *a pretty fair pricing system Things to improve upon: *the self-serve yogurt setup invites people to jump in and out of line to get multiple flavors. This makes the yogurt area become unorganized. *The location is great when I'm taking a walk. the parking lot in front of the store has really narrow spaces and everyone seems to think THEY have right of way. Park yourself as far away from the store as you feel comfortable.

This might be my favorite froyo place in town because of their wide selection of yogurt flavors and topping choices coupled with the hip, modern design. They've got a good balance, but this place is always crowded when I go.

The interior is really bright and cheery, also pretty clean... we'll see how it holds up to the test of time, but right now it looks very nice. I love the giant light balls! They look like big round cloud marshmallow things. I WANT ONE. It's a self-serve place, so you pick up a styrofoam cup and choose from approximately 12 or so different flavors, ranging from the original tart to cake batter to strawberry. I'm not really one for "tart" froyo flavors, so I got vanilla, cookies n' cream, cake batter... it was like I was eating regular ice cream. However, my friend that I went with got a number of the fruit flavors like mango and strawberry, and said they were very good. Next up is a toppings bar with basically anything you could ever think of... a ton of different crushed up candy bars, fresh-looking fruit, and more traditional ice cream toppings like oreos and sprinkles and whatnot. Try the mochi bits! Mochi is glutinous rice cake, which sounds like something you might find at the bottom of your week-old cheap chinese takeout, but it actually is something of a chewy marshmallow with less of the cloying sweetness of marshmallows (not to mention a better texture). I believe they determine price based on the weight of the styrofoam cup, but I could be wrong. Mine came out to be $4 - and it was a very generous portion of froyo. Compared to other froyo places or even upscale ice cream places, it's very reasonably priced. There was still a ton of people in here on a hot Tuesday night at closing time, and my younger brother informed me that the place gets swarmed by kids around 2PM when nearby Chantilly HS lets out, so it seems to be doing really right off the bat.

  • Scott L.

My wife and I took the kids there recently and they loved the place, not for the froyo but the toppings. Sweet is right because there is very little tart in it including the original. Sweet frog has a very similar taste to TCBY. On the positive side, it was cheap which I thought was great for 4 cups.

  • J S.

Yum, yum and yum! Ten (or maybe more?) flavors to choose from and toppings galore...how could you not love this place? I like how the fresh fruit is cut up into tiny pieces. You name it, they have it. My favorites: kiwi, mango and coconut. The rest of the family usually skips over that section and head straight for the treats; again, you name it, they have it. I believe it's $0.35/ounce and for four LOADED small cups we paid $15. The sitting area could be kept clean a little better, but other than that, this place if definitely a favorite in our household!

Usually I would not go buy Ice cream from a independent store because I know how they jack up the prices. Sweet Frog is great ice cream with many flavors and variety of toppings. For 2 cups with many toppings it cost about 6 dollars and was DELICIOUS. I definitely recommend going.
