Was in the area so decided to stop by to check them out since they are one of few Asian restaurants in the area. Came in at 8:30 p.m. (They close at 9:30 p.m.), so I had to the whole place to myself. Talk about VIP treatment. From the appetizer menu, I tried the fried chicken wings with fish sauce (Ga Chien Nuoc Mam) because it sounded interesting. I mean, fried chicken wings is good, but with added Nuoc mam? Get outta hea! I am down! I am Vietnamese and have never heard of such a thing so decided to give it a try and will say it is the most amazing fried chicken I've ever had. Better than Bon Chon in my opinion, and you don't have to wait hours for it. The other dish I got was the Com Dac Biet (Special Rice Dish) with egg, pork, rice, Chinese sausage, etc... It was on point and is 100% authentic Vietnamese. They have actual Vietnamese chefs in the back, not other places that try to cut corners for more profit, if you know what I mean. The service was great. The server was friendly and attentive. He would come by often to check up and make sure everything was ok.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants in the area. Staff is very friendly and food is always delicious! Never have to wait an extended amount of time to be served or for calling in an order for pick up. My "go to" for Pho in this area!

One of the best restaurants in town. Excellent service and a very mellow, relaxing atmosphere. Their Pho Chay is out of this world. I recently became a vegetarian and had the same meal at their competitor down the road....essentially, what I received there was vegetables and noodles in hot water...no vegetable broth or anything to speak of, a flavorless mess. Viet Flavor on the other hand had delicious and tasty broth that you could tell was made with pride and care. The only reason for 4* is Bristow Beat has posted several articles about health code violations here, which kind of makes me wary.

First, I REALLY liked the garden rolls. Other places add carrots or mint or other oddities, but the basic shrimp-pork-noodle-greenery tried and true recipe here was really tasty. My dinner buddy got the crispy spring rolls and enjoyed them a lot. I liked the quality of the chicken in the pho ga, however the broth is quite bland. This is nothing a bullion cube or some sauce add-ins wont fix, but if you want the soup as it is, its a little disappointing. I'd still return but know that I need to add some taste to the broth. Perhaps I will try a different item next time before ruling out whether I really love or really just like this spot.

This is a great location for Pho! I had my favorite, Pho Ga, but I got it to go because I wasn't hungry at the time. Even eating it at home later, it was great. My husband and his friend both had theirs at the restaurant and thy really enjoyed it. We finished with Vietnamese coffee, which is AMAZING if you've never had it. It's SO different, but SO good. Definitely get that while you're there!

What Pho place charges extra for lime. Viet Flavor. I thought that Lime was considered standard in the Pho aromatics because I've never been to a place that charges extra. not just 25 cents extra but a whole dollar extra for lime! Besides that, the place was pretty nice. the waiters were courteous and always within range to grab their attention when needed. Prompt at removing empty plates. restaurant clean and crisp. Overall I will try this place again. Its pretty sad that they would charge extras for items in such a way you can tell its obvious gouges at the consumer, but overall their decor attitude of employees and food was pleasant enough that I would deal with the overpriced menu to taste the other food choices they have,

Viet flavor has probably the best pho I've ever had! The broth was delicious, the basil and the green onions gave it such a nice smell and taste, highly recommend this place!

We just walked out. The waitress was not pleasant. We ended up just getting up and walking out due to waiting for at least our drink order to be taken. The waitress looked us on our way out and did not say a word. Absolutely unacceptable.

For someone who was going to Pho Sapa, which is still good, Viet Flavor is better. The atmosphere is very clean, relaxing, and quiet. Service was very fast and the menu itself is huge! Just got th usual P10, but the Pho portions were huge! My only suggestion is that the broth was not as sweet as I am used to but the amount of basil given made up for it. We will definitely be back!

Many reasons to like Viet Flavor. The menu is exceptionally diverse. They have some especially good appetizers. They also have some really good salad selections. Nice selection of Pho. Service dining in is very fast and even more so for take out. A really nice dining room, very roomy and clean. Had the chicken pho, excellent The Papaya Salad is fresh, delicious and flavorful.

Only reason I didn't 1 star is because the place is clean and food is decent. As a frequent diner here I thought I would meet a friend with her two children for lunch. We got settled in put in our order and the waitress left. While she was gone I noticed it said gratuity for 6 people automatic 20%. I thought surely it wouldn't count for a 2 and 3 year old which would make it 6. (3 adults and 4 children.) Well thank goodness I asked, they said we would be charged gratuity of 20% which is ridiculous for small children. I said fine since we are two separate checks we will just separate I guess and pull out tables apart. At this point I was in disbelief because I visit frequently. The other lady came out with our appetizers at this point and asked what's wrong. I explained how u felt and she pretty much said it is what it is. I told her then unfortunately we are going to have to leave. She then said that's fine and pointed to the door. Seriously?

I THOUGHT it was a joke....but we had to pay extra to take our food home with us. The food was de-lish, however, and there are plenty of vegetarian options. The place was not crowded so our food arrived promptly....too promptly! We had just gotten our appetizers and our entrees were plopped down in front of us. The Pho got cold while I was enjoying the scrumptious fried tofu so I didn't eat much of it at all. I decided to take it home and enjoy it for lunch today rather than send it back ( I reserve that for emergencies) and was shocked when I was told it would cost $0.50 per item for a doggy bag. I can understand wanting to cut down on waste and encouraging patrons to BYO container, but to charge me extra because you served me all of my food at one time and it got cold because I could not inhale it quickly enough? I really did think it was a joke. Fifty cents is no big deal....so not sure why they would ask for it and leave such a bad taste in my mouth.

Fried spring roll excellent. Had the lemon grass chicken. Came with crushed nuts and a sweet sauce. Chicken however was cold and hard sliced thin. Could not enjoy that. Server took off 10% which we did not expect but was a nice gesture. I would come back again and try other dishes. Fried rice with chicken was good. The pho was decent as well.

I'm so impressed by this place! I have been going to pho 234 in Manassas for years and I find that the broth here is even better! I have been here twice so far (dine in and carry out). The bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime and Thai basil that accompany the pho have been fresh and crisp. The pho broth is flavorful and always served hot. I love their spring rolls and noodle dishes as well! I look forward to trying out more dishes. The only thing is that prices are a bit high compared to pho in Manassas but given the area it is understandable (I rather pay a bit more than to have to drive out to Manassas).

Came for the first time today, the decor is nice, clean upscale casual. The service is fast attentive and knowledgable. Menu selection was standard for most Vietnamese restaurants, a bit on the pricier side than average. Ordered the crispy spring roll, and bun xiao. The spring roll had good flavor but was on the greasier end of the spectrum. Fish sauce was standard, carrot a little sugar. The bun xiao was very disappointing, batter was too thick and the filling had no flavor, very bland. My friend had the lemongrass beef with vermicelli, she said the noodles and veggies were good but was unhappy with the quality of the meat. Overall too expensive for the quality. Also would like to point out that the server made note that I did not like my meal, didn't eat it, and did not offer to replace or refund. Paid for a meal that I didn't eat.

My husband and I have been looking for an amazing pho place that is local, and after reading the reviews, we decided to try this one. We came here a few weeks ago and were greeted by a very nice hostess and beautiful decor. The menu was easy to understand and the waitress very knowledgable with the specials and ingredients. The pho was amazing and definitely worth another trip for. The spring rolls, summer rolls and wontons were suberb. All in all, the meal was definitely worthwhile and if you go at lunch you get a great price with a full stomach. We went back today and decided to order different appetizers and one of the rice vermicelli dishes with the beef, pork and shrimp. The chicken wings had an "interesting" batter for lack of a better word, and if you can make it past the texture, the taste is pretty good (almost like a sweet soy sauce and fish sauce mixed together). The calamari was decent with a sweet dipping sauce. The rolls and wontons were still great (though the wontons were shaped differently than the last time we had them and only contained half the amount of filling). The Vermicelli Flavor dish was good and the flavor of the beef and pork were wonderful. The meat was very tender and the veggies crisp and fresh. It also came with a crispy spring roll. The service wasn't as outstanding as last time, but it wasn't horrible either. The staff always seem polite and wanting to please. We're going to attempt our next trip with kids in tow and see how that goes.

Viet Flavor is my local (Warrenton resident) "Go To" Pho fix! I was so happy to see a quality Pho store 7 miles away! Pho is excellent, nice flavor and a generous portion. The garden rolls are good, but can be a little tough at times. I have gotten rolls that had a wrappers that were very hard, like they didn't let them soften before rolling them. The crispy garden rolls are ok, not a fan b/c all I taste is the fried wrapper, but my kids love them and always want MORE! I've had Pho the majority of my visits, but my kids had the Shrimp fried rice and Beef Stew with egg noodles both of which are very good. I love the excellent service and pleasant faces that greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Great service, food with very polite servers is the key to Viet Flavor success!

Spring rolls were fresh and crispy. My kids loved it. We had Pho and it was delicious. It says a lot when you don't have to add any sauces to soup because it's so good by itself. Restaurant is new/clean with very friendly service. Service can be little slow at times due to the restaurant being busy. We had never been here before but we liked it so much, we went two days in a row! Only giving it four stars because you can't be perfect--we may change it after trying other dishes.

Service was excellent here and the food was the best Vietnamese food I have had in months. For the first visit, this place has the best in the area. Lunch specials weekdays are under 10 and include and entree or soup and an egg roll or shrimp wrap and a soda. Great deal. Noticed that they keep the place very clean.

Amazing food and service! Restrooms were clean! Coffee unbelievable. The Pho is the best! What I liked about this restaurant is the quality of the ingredients and the fresh food. The vegetables were taken out of the garden fresh. I also had the flan which was delicious. I had fresh coconut water and Jasmine tea!

We've been to the other two Vietnamese joins in Gainesville and decide to drive down and try this one. We ordered the papaya salad as an appetizer and were very impressed with the way it looked. The taste was awesome. We next ordered the vegetarian Pho and the clay pot rice with seafood. My wife outright declared this to be the best vegetarian Pho. The clay pot rice was very unique, steaming hot and very delicious. The manager walked by seeing I was adding the hot sauce. He recommended I try the Vietnamese sliced peppers but I don't have the guts. The owner stopped by to make sure everything good. She explained how each of the veggie items were prepared including the fish oil alternative. Amazing people, great food. Will back for sure! Have a whole lot of dishes in mind that I want to try :)

Love this place! Their service is wonderful and they take very good care of you. The pho is great, and the appetizers are exceptional (I would recommend the fresh garden rolls and their wings!). Overall, my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in the Bristow/Gainsville area.

Good fresh garden rolls with a nice peanut sauce. They have an extensive menu with lots of dishes that I've never seen at Vietnamese restaurants. Would probably be a fun place for an adventurous eater who likes to try new things. I had the pho ga, it was pretty good, it had torn chunks of chicken breast unlike the thin slices you get at most places. Unfortunately, the broth was not super flavorful but the sides were fresh and noodles were good, not lumped together. Good iced tea, pretty interior, good service.
