Not much to say about this joint; it's just a casual, kind of poorly-lit little place on Main Street. The Dinosaur Burger and the lemon-pepper chicken salad were good, and service was friendly.

I would have given this place 5 stars because every time I've been here everything has been excellent , although my last time my burger was overcooked and my fries were undercooked. The salmon sandwich has been excellent every time though and is soooooo good.

My husband and I came for lunch on a Monday back in March. We were on a Dinosaur Road Trip through Utah and wanted to continue the theme with our lunch spot. Unfortunately, no dinosaurs were to be found inside. But the burgers and the beer were good, and I thought the onion rings were pretty amazing.

Would not ever suggest this place. Although the food is not bad, we were treated horribly by the wait staff. They are not friendly, are downright rude and left you feeling badly asking them for ANYTHING. Waited 1.5 hours for a chicken sandwich that then came out raw. Really need to work on service because it overshadows the decent food and good beer!

Ordered philly cheese steak it was good, fries are great, 5 of us showed up 20 mins before closing and stayed till 20 minutes after close. They didn't throw us out, they were very polite. Got good service and atmosphere was good . If they were bigger they would fill up all chairs. They need to be open later than 9pm on Fridays.

Just Delicious !!!! Great Service!!! My boyfriend got the fish and fries and he loved it. The portions were great. I got the Pepper jack burger which was sooooo good , I asked if they had sweet potato fries but sadly they didn't . Instead the waitress recommended the seasoned fries and they were AMAZING!!!! This place is totally worth it .

The portions were just right. The burgers and grilled chicken sandwich were awesome, as were the french fries and onion rings. The onion rings were probably among the better that I've had -- not too crispy or underdone, and not at all stringy. My parents really liked the beer that the waitress recommended to them (sorry, I can't remember the name of it). Dinosaur Brew Haus isn't really touristy like something that you might expect from an area where the main attraction is a national monument, although it is very casual and bar-like (it has a TV and a pool table in the back room). The service was friendly. There weren't many people when we went in , maybe one or two tables of two people, but several people came in while we were there to pick up take out. Pricing, in my opinion, was very reasonable for a touristy area, and was actually even a bit cheaper than what we're used to paying in California. My only (somewhat minor) complaint was that while it was probably 85-80 degrees outside and we were dressed in shorts and T-shirts, the restaurant was a very chilly 60 or so degrees with the air conditioning on full blast. Also, there is a dirt-pebbly road parking lot in the back for patrons.

This place has friendly people working there and super tasty food. There are peanuts on the tables, several tv's showing the current game and loads of redneck decor. Clearly this isn't the fanciest place in Vernal, nor does it pretend to be. We saw enough camouflage in than we've ever seen on the other patrons. I arrived with three hungry little girls and a husband with fairly selective tastebuds. We ordered the wings and fries appetizer. The wings were spicy with loads of sauce on them. The fries were fresh and crispy. Then, we all ordered burgers, except the 4 year old, who had a corn dog...she loved the peanuts and fries so much that she barely touched her corn dog. No biggie. A corn dog is a corn dog is a corn dog. I don't eat bread, so I asked the waitress if they could make the burger with a lettuce wrap and it was no problem. The burger was delicious...I would have wanted it a bit pink in the center, but the waitress never asked. If you like your burgers a bit more rare, speak up! My husband and I both ordered onion rings with our burgers--best decision ever! Those rings were some of the best I've tasted...and I've had a lot of them since they are my favorite. The bathrooms at this place are a bit dicey and clearly an afterthought. We were appalled at how teensy they were...the women's bathroom looks like it belongs in an old trailer. The sink was about the size of a laptop. Seriously. But, there was hot water, so at least there's that. Plus, you don't go to a restaurant for the bathrooms now, do you? We will definitely come back to this place. Great stop after a long hike.

Our three burgers were overcooked and dry. Not just well done but burned. No flavor. Regular fries were average, Cajun fries were over-seasoned. Prices are way too high. My cheeseburger was $11, which means it should have been a flavorful gourmet burger on a homemade bun. A $5 fast food burger would have been much better. Service was friendly however and bathrooms were clean. If you go here, avoid the burgers!

Surprisingly yummy! (I don't expect much good eating in Vernal usually.) Free peanuts, good list of beer, delicious burgers, fantastic homemade fries, and friendly service. The hot wings were very good too and the pulled pork was good but pretty dry. Not a cheap place by any means but pretty darn good pub food!

Serious downgrade. Like going from Hep A to Hep B to Hep C. Bathrooms are post-apocalyptic. Peanuts are no longer free. Burgers are expensive and fossilized a la something you'd find at the Dinosaur National Monument gift shop. Serious bummer.

Beer was really good but I ordered nachos and probably the worst I've ever had. Cheese was barely melted with no taste, onions were so strong they over powered everything w just plain tomato chunks. They need to make salsa w cilantro for a topping. Just zero taste.

Just fine as a roadtrip stopping point. Looks like they recently redecorated. I enjoyed the burger and the same with Pookie on the pork ribs. Good beer selection. Can see this as a popular evening joint among locals. Not outstanding, but worthy of 3 or 4(ish) stars. So 4 it is....

Went in with little expectations and was surprised they didn't even live up to that. I was with a small group only four people so finding a seat couldn't be tough right? Wrong! ALL of the empty tables were cluttered with plates and debris but that wasn't even the problem. While waiting for the waitress to acknowledge our arrival we were looked at blankly and were offered nothing that would suggest one of the dirty tables would be cleared. We were told, "Uhm...there might be a place outside." So still with little expectations went outside and yes there was one clean table. So we sat. And sat. And sat. When we were finally greeted. The waitress just wanted a drink order. She didn't offer us a menu to peruse and when we asked for a menu she just handed us a drink menu. Well it didn't take us very long to decide enough was enough and we left which was obviously for the better seeing that it was 7:45 pm and they close at 8:pm. We did not chance any food so sorry if you happen to love the chef...the waitstaff needs to be trained better at hospitality and welcoming in new customers.

This is one of our favorite places to hang out and have a beer in Vernal. I like their selection of beers and the menu is short, but it has everything you want in bar food. The fish and chips plate is delicious. The fried fish is perfectly crispy. I do have to say that their fries could be crispier, though. I agree with the previous reviewers on that front. There's a nice patio out back, too, and the waitresses are always nice and attentive.

Food was excellent. The place was busy at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, so the service was maybe a little slower than it should have been, but the food quality kept it at 4 stars for this family of 6.

This is an interesting place. The food seemed a little overpriced but the burgers were good. The beer selection is impressive considering the setting. As of when I visited they only had one beer brewed in house and they were out, which is a shame, but they had plenty of other local beers as well as the standards. Service was alright, I talked with two people, an older fellow who was very friendly and helpful but another waitress (who seemed to be in charge) that was a little more brusque.

I've only been here once but I like dive bar atmosphere- it's a nice change of pace in Vernal. My roommate took me out to dinner on my last night in Vernal. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a beer. I thought the beer selection was fantastic and my sandwich was yummy. I don't agree with everyone's comments on the fries- these fries are just cooked differently. However, I've had plenty of fries like that at other restaurants- different places cook fries differently and if you're looking for extra crispy fries then don't look here. There isn't a lot of atmosphere here but it's nice because it's relaxing and it doesn't feel like they are trying too hard like some Vernal restaurants. The waitress was nice- she took our order and came back a couple times to see if we wanted anything- helpful but not overly pushy. I'd go back if I was driving through Vernal again.

Very disappointing. Ordered their "awesome" pork dinner, and the ribs were very burnt and overlooked. I might expect this at 9:00pm, but at 6:30? My wife had the salmon salad, which was ok. With two glasses of wine and one iced tea, the bill came to $44.00. With tip, this was not a $48 dinner. Oh, and the fries were not cooked enough. Everything in the town of Vernal is overpriced. Wait until you check the cost of a motel room! YIKES. Eat at McDonalds and pocket the $40. Or, just drive on through.

Ok let me give these guys props for their patio, their fish (not chips, I'll get to this in a sec.), and their cheap beer. The bbq is pretty good, pulled pork sandwich is a staple. However, and this gets me every time, Dino Brew Haus COOK YOUR FRIES!. Allow me to repeat: COOK YOUR FRIES!!! Nothing is worse than weak, flaccid fries (except people who like that shit). Listen I will give you guys 4 stars just for cooking your fries...not that big of a deal, do it, it will make you feel better and help your customers. Ok I'm done P.S. Cook your fries.

The Dinosauar Brew Haus has the best cheeseburger and fries in Vernal without a doubt. The side salad is also a lot of good veggies because it is big for the price, which is nice. I highly recommend this place when you crave a burger and fries. I wish I had discovered it before my last day of living in Vernal all summer. The service is also very friendly and helpful.

Fries where ok. Service was ok. But the burger... well that was just disappointing. :( The burgers where way over cooked.. cardboard style and the frys where not cooked. Nice and greasy , blah. All in all... way to much money for such poor quality food!

Disappointing in every way: tiny menu, dirty interior, surly staff, and they don't even have their own beers.

Fairly good burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and UT micro-beers

Good BBQ. Hand cut fries. Local Wasatch microbrews. This is a good choice for Vernal and definitely worth a stop.

Good brew. Good bar food. Come on, this is Vernal! Whatdayawant? Typical Utah; you can't sit at the bar to have a drink in a bar... Go figure.

In my travels across country I stumbled into this wonderful dive. Dino's has lots of character and charm. We started with a basket of onion rings which were incredible. My girlfriend ordered a pulled pork sandwich. I had a beef brisket sandwich. Both of which were amazing and homemade by our wonderful waitress, Brandy. They also have a short list of micro brews. The Apricot Hefeweizen was great, and so was the Chasing Tale Pale Ale, soooo good! I recommend this place to anyone passing through looking for homemade BBQ.
