Went around 130 on a Thursday and there wasn't any line. I got the daily deal of cheesy sausage and pulled pork. The food was delicious, the serving sizes were huge, and the staff was fast and friendly. I've been to many other Dickeys and this was by far my best experience.

So I called Dickeys BBQ at 8pm to inquire about their closing time. A staff member said 9pm. We hopped in the van and headed over post haste. We showed up at 8:45 and found the doors locked. People were eating at tables, but we couldn't get in. The posted hours on the door clearly stated "9:00PM" and my phone displayed 8:44pm. No one was behind the counter. Instead, there was a cadre of obese teenage lollygaggers smoking hashish in the back alleyway. I didn't approach the stoned Dickey's employees, because I was fearful of my continence. I reentered my vehicle and broadcasted my complaint from a safe distance, repeatedly shouting "I know you are open! I wanted pulled pork!" The smokers turned their heads in my direction, but didn't move. Perhaps their drug-induced condition limited their cognition. They tracked me as I drove out of the lot and on to Highway 40.

Could not fault this local eating eating establishment in the lovely town of Vernal, Utah. The customer service was superb; the servers were polite and friendly and the cashier approached us halfway through the meal to ask us how we were fairing. As for the food it was, in all honestly, the best fast food I've had so far in the state. We both had the Monday special of a brisket burger, two sides and a large drink. The burger was brilliant (especially with the home BBQ sauce) and not too greasy. I loved the jalapeños beans and the fried ocra was an interesting (if a tad acquired) taste. I also quite enjoyed the home ice tea. It was an extremely filling and delicious meal that I could not fault. One of the little touches, which I think renders this place above average, are the cute little mottos adoring everything from the free recyclable plastic cups to the napkins. A great touch! If in the mood for relatively cheap food that will fill, satisfy and (dare I say it?) delight then this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

I wanted smoked chicken so we searched online and found this restaurant. They staff was very friendly, and the food was better than I would have expected! I was very happy to have found this place. I ended up having 3 meats, chicken, turkey and sausage. All were great, as were the bbq beans and fries. Their salad looked amazing, and the lady at another table confirmed that it was great. The only thing we missed out on is that nobody told us there was free soft ice cream, and we were sitting with our backs to the sign, if there was one. i would definitely recommend this place if you like smoked meat. Surprise! we found another in Reno 9PLUMB lane0 on our way home and ate there again! In Reno the food quality was the same, the staff was great, and the quantity of food was greater for the same price. my Girlfriend ordered the salad this time, and she really liked it. This chain seems to be expanding, and I hope the open one near me soon!
