We live close by and eat here fairly often. The food quality is pretty consistent. My wife is vegan and so she usually orders the hummus with soft pitas and s side of potatoes. My wife loves their hummus, likes their potatoes and things they have one of the best baklava in town. I mix it up between the beef tenderloin sandwich and the grilled chicken gyro. Usually, the grilled chicken is cooked pretty well - four out of five times it will be juicy, but you will occasionally get it cooked a little extra to where it tastes too dry. I've also had the grilled beef tenderloin Gyro, which is also pretty good.

By far my favorite Mediterranean place in Memphis. Authentic food and great customer service. Recommended for anyone wanting a good time and good food.

Got the gyro sandwich. It had a really small serving and the meat was not actual gyro meat. It was just meat cut up into pieces.

Meh, it could have been better. I was expecting flavorful foods like the one I had while at my university in Clarksville. Real gyros in warm pita bread with the filling falling out of your hands. What I got was a simple wrap that doesn't even resemble a gyro despite trying to be a leaner version of itself. It's a disappointment, but maybe this is just how it is here. Very Americanized Greek food.

We've only been a few times, but thus far I like Taziki's. The biggest complaint I have is that there's some inconsistency from visit to visit, but it's all been in the realm of solid or better so I'd have to say so far, so good. Service has ranged from okay to surprisingly good for a quick casual place. My go-to is the lamb skordalia gyro. The amount of sauce and the tenderness of the meat varies a little, so sometimes I really like it and other times it's just a solid grab-and-go meal. So far, the more sauce and the more tender the better. The sides are a little weak in my opinion. We've gotten the hummus with pita slices once and it was good. The roasted red potatoes are their signature side and they're pretty good, but potatoes in addition to the potato chips that come with the gyro is a little too much potato for one meal. The rest of the sides I've had are pretty mediocre. The baklava is very good though. I've been searching for a comparison and the best I can come up with is a Greek version of a McAllister's. It's relatively quick, not overly expensive, the food's pretty solid, and there's something for most tastes. On the other hand, it's kind of formulaic and lacks the character of most good Mediterranean/Greek places. If you're looking for that, I'd suggest popping over a couple of blocks to Casablanca, which is one of my Memphis favorites.

My friend and I stopped by here after hot yoga. We were gross and probably smelled terrible. As if that wasn't annoying enough, my friend is one of those aholes that asks a thousand questions. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! This place is very open and spacious! We loved that. We made sure to sit as far away from people as we could :). The food took about 10-15 minutes. This is a great place to grab a quick meal or sit and hang for a bit. This place isn't anything too special, but it's convenient and quick. She got the salmon and I got the tazikis signature pasta. So yummy. I can't believe neither of us had been here before, but I definitely can't wait to go back and try some other stuff!

It was just "okay". For me, the food, while good, was bland. The potatoes were delicious and the service was quick (good for lunch). I would only go here again if someone else wanted it.

Oh my word, can you say melt in your mouth? The crazy thing is that im just talking about the new potatoes. I cannot believe how yummy they were!! I could have just had them. I also had this lamb and skordalia gyro, the lamb was very tender but i have to admit, ive had better. There wasnt a lot of wow with my gyro.

Always fresh!! This place never disappoints! It gets better every time I eat here! I tried the gyro this time, and it is so tasty! They ate made with the freshest of ingredients! The atmosphere is always nice and welcoming!

Quick, well made, clean. Great for a casual lunch or dinner. I believe the food offerings are near authentic to authentic but very versital for any pallet.

The only thing Greek about this place is the name of the dishes. Everything is so so and ok tasting, but it's nothing special. Just some grilled meat that you can get anywhere. I think the tables and chairs were dirty too. My shirt literally stuck to the back of the chair and I had to dust food off the seat before I sat. The table was also sticky and there was a lemon seed on the napkin holder. They need to clean their tables better! The service was also lacking. No one refilled my water and I had to go to the counter to ask for one myself.

Love Taziki's! I had my favorite, Chicken Basil Pesto Gyro with the awesome Roasted Potatoes. The portions are large, the Gyro comes with a side and chips. I added tea (they use pellet ice!!!) and my bill was $10.03. Not too bad. Great quick reasonable lunch.

Recommended by a good friend, who knows I travel to Memphis a lot and am trying to eat healthy and fresh. Got my food to go, roasted lemon herb chicken, Greek salad, basmati rice- great portions- delicious. The only thing missing is the warm pita bread I'm used to receiving back home in Chicago. My food was ready when I arrived, staff was friendly. I'll definitely be back!

I've had really awesome Greek food...not only in Greece but even in the good ole U S of A. And let me tell you, my friends. This is not it. For starters, you have to order at the counter. I could look past this but the girl behind the counter was not friendly...at all. And I had to tell her 4 times what kind of wine I wanted and even pointed at the sign. Then she totally judged me for ordering 2 appetizers and a gyro. I was having a chill night with a magazine, leave me alone. And y'all? I don't think they know wine goes bad because my merlot tasted like vinegar...aka my wine had gone bad. Who knows how long it had been sitting there opened? I thought perhaps it was just unlucky for me but when a friend joined me about an hour later and ordered a pinot - the exact same thing happened. We are both giant winos but we didn't even finish 1/4 of our glasses. Now to the food. I love 99% of hummus. This is the 1%. I barely touched it. My pimento cheese was a bit better but not by much. And my gyro? That was the best thing on the table and that ain't saying much. The meat was pretty tough and there wasn't any flavor. What's the point of eating then? I was pretty annoyed I spent $26 and was still hungry after picking at it so my friend and I decided to walk across the street to Interim and order something at the bar. Lesson learned.

Food was okay, I had a lamb gyro and cucumber/tomato salad I think it was a bit more expensive than the portion I got. As far as the place... it kinda had a sterile corporate look, kinda a tween place... and I saw some tweens actually. Overall it was okay, the ordering process could be a lot better and portions on some items bigger (namely the gyros, the steaks I saw people order looked good) I think I liked this place better when it was it was that japanese restaurant though

Cant have greek food without hummus, and this hummus was horrid. Got a gyro and it was also lacking in taste and was kinda dry. Wont be back

A group of friends and I were looking for a place to eat for a late lunch in East Memphis. Our first couple of choices were just not open that day at that time. We finally ended up trying Taziki's Cafe, which none of us had ever visited. Apparently, it's a chain restaurant. One friend ordered the spicy pimento cheese with pita bread to share. It was delicious. I actually was dipping my chips in it instead of the pita bread. It was just the right amount of spice without being too spicy. Another friend ordered the dolmades to share. They are grape leaves stuffed with rice, onions, and herbs. They were served warm. I prefer them served cold. However, they were good nonetheless. My other friend ordered the grilled chicken roll up. It came with a few roll ups. I tasted them. They were good. Another friend ordered the grilled chicken gyro with the roasted potatoes. I liked the roasted potatoes. It seemed strange that chips come with the meal every time in addition to the side especially when the side is a potato. For my main dish, I had the grilled lamb gyro. It was very good, and it was seasoned perfectly. It came with some chips and one side. I went with the pasta salad, which was recommended by the cashier. My meal was my favorite of all the meals. One thing that I noticed is that they have meals for 4. The price is about $25 to $30, and you have to give them 2 hours notice. It comes with a meat, rice or potatoes, salad, and pita chips.

I've only been once. I know it's not authentic but who cares? I mean, do you really expect authentic from a strip mall place that purposely misspells the word "tzatziki"? I had the Chicken Feast with rice and potatoes. It was a bit bland but I actually like bland food. Bland is what I expect from a plate full of chicken, rice and potatoes. The potatoes actually did have a nice seasoning but nothing thrilling. Everything was cooked well and the serving was generous. My only complaint is that the place was really loud. The restaurant wasn't even at capacity. They really need some noise dampening measures. (BTW - another reviewer said they were there after church hours on sunday and the place was dead. Well, I was also there at lunch time on a sunday and it was pretty hoppin - don't know what the difference could have been).

Uck. I'd rather drive to Oxford for Volta. To Jackson, MS for Keifer's. To Biloxi for Mr. Greek!!! If you're looking for a good gyro in Memphis, steer clear of this place. Instead, go to Castle Restaurant/JJ's Fish and Chicken on Park near Getwell (next to Las Delicias). It might be greasy, but it's better than this watered down, bland excuse for "Mediterranean" food. Friends and I went on a Sunday after church services were let out. That it was mostly empty around noon on a Sunday speaks volumes.

I went here this week with my mom, who was staying nearby at the Doubletree. I had been wanting to try this place, and maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I just didn't think this was the best Mediterranean food I'd ever had, especially for the price. I had a Greek salad gyro, which came out with chicken on it. Big no-no (obviously), and a testament up the fact that the girl working the register seemed new (couldn't answer my question about the difference between two of the veggie options). Once I got the corrected gyro, it was fine, but didn't blow me away. There was the very faintest dusting of feta on it, and the vinaigrette was just kind of vinegar-y. I ordered this instead of the other veggie gyro because the menu said this one had roasted red peppers on it - there were maybe two pieces of roasted red pepper. Overall the veggies were fresh, but there just weren't that many of them for $7. On the value-for-price front, my mother ordered a bowl of lemon-chicken soup. She had no complaints about the flavor or quality, but I seriously thought they'd brought her the "cup" size instead when it arrived at our table. It was smaller than one of my coffee cups at home, again a little steep for $6. I might go back here if I were in the area and looking for a very light bite.

I love Greek food... Seriously, everything about it. However, this place is really trying to end my love affair. I have gotten take out from this restaurant on at least 20 or more different occasions since it first opened. From the first experience at this place, until the most recent encounter today, everything has gone downhill. The food used to be good. Not great, not outstanding, but solidly good. It is now just plain decent at best. As for the service, don't even get me started. It ranges anywhere from incredibly rude all the way up to incredibly incompetent. Out of the 20+ occasions that we have gotten take out from this restaurant, our order has been wrong at least 50% of the time. Even better, or should I say worse, the employees and even the manager have argued with me on at least three or more occasions about why my order was wrong and why it was my fault. Very uncool. Matter of fact, completely unacceptable. My favorite thing to order at this place is the hummus. Some other posts have noted that they do not like the hummus here, but I love it. As with any other thing, this is merely a preferential item. And I like it. All of the other items on the menu are incredibly mediocre. The salads are fairly big, but they have no substance to them. They are merely a pile of lettuce with barely any accompaniments. Therefore, there is little difference from one salad to the next. The lemon chicken soup is actually pretty good, but the quality and taste of this soup has no consistency from one visit to the next. On some occasions, the soup has been outstanding, while on other occasions it has been downright awful. The flagship of any quick order Greek restaurant should be there gyro. Not here. Again, all of the different gyros are mediocre, on a good day. I am convinced that the meats are precooked in some other state or some other country, shipped to the restaurant frozen, and merely reheated at this location. The meat is bland, tough, and obviously not all that good. Bottom line, this is a place you only want to patronize if you need something quick in the Greek food genre. And now, given the rapid decline in the quality of the food and the downright rudeness and incompetence of the service at this restaurant, I will not be going here again anytime soon, or ever again for that matter. One star, on a good night.

It is what it is and it's not what it is not. Here you go: Freshness: 4 stars. It didn't taste like it came straight from the freezer. Authenticity: 1 star. Seriously? Don't even think you're getting the real thing here. They serve falsely labeled "gyros". If you go in expecting more than that, you'll be sadly disappointed. Healthiness:(is that a word?) 3.5 stars. I don't remember seeing anything fried on the menu. All of their sides are relatively healthy (compared to places that load you down with salt and additives). My pasta salad had a few bites of feta and wasn't mayo based. In other words - after a "gyro" and pasta salad, I didn't want to stick my finger down my throat and die. Speed: 4.5 stars - any place that can crank out something that tastes fresh and didn't cost a fortune is a winner in my book. I'll likely visit Taziki's again, but not for the "Mediterranean experience". Only for the value, speed, and semi-healthy options.

The food was pretty decent. I'm always happy when I can get and actual lamb gyro. The prices are very reasonable too. You'd spend about as much here as you would for lunch at Panera. They've got a good selection of adult dishes but their children's menu is lacking and I would have loved to see some of the menu options in kids sizes. My biggest issue was that their sauce really didn't have enough flavor and the gyro would have been much better with a traditional tzatziki sauce. Otherwise the gyro was good and the lamb was well cooked. Everything was prepared quickly and there was barely a wait to get our food.

Met my parents here for dinner yesterday and really enjoyed it. After you've ordered at the counter, the Wendy's-type experience is over. I like the decor there, black blinds, wood floors, nice lighting. Salad was really fresh, and my lemon chicken soup was so tasty! We brought in a birthday cake, they didn't mind, and gave us plates. I'll be back!

Ugh, probably the worst Mediterranean appetizer combo I 've ever had. I hesitated to order the mezedes (or meze, mezze) platter when I saw Taziki was listed as a part of the combo--it's more of a sauce drizzled on your gyro, not served alone, right?--but ordered it anyway against my better judgment. Pita was crisp--not my cup of tea but pita chips have been around for a while so they must have some following. Taziki dip (I would say it's more a sauce consistency than a dip) was ok and I am sure it's good on gyros but I couldn't bring myself to dip more than a handful of times--I am not a chip and dip kind of girl and tend to eat baba ghanoush or hummus with a spoon but just can't do that with Taziki dip. Hummus was bland, though not the worst part of the meal. The deal breaker was the Dolmade (stuffed grape leave): it was so tangy that I couldn't finish one bite and wanted to see my dentist right away (and I should have). Leaving half of the platter untouched, I wobbled down the street to Gibson's for some sweet salvation--donuts aren't my thing, but desperate times call for desperate measures...

I'm always impressed with the grilled veggie plate and grilled veggie gyros with a side of rice or new potatoes and chips. I also love their hummus and pita bread for an appetizer which could pass for dinner if your not starving. They also have a nice Greek salad. If you're vegan, get it without the feta cheese.

  • Carlos S.

The meat was a good medium and well seasoned. The veggies were generous in portion. My friends' chicken and Caesar salads apparently didn't measure up. I think this place is ok, but given my movie companions' latest experience, it may be a while before we return. The service has been attentive at the least. I haven't tried the wines, but their beer selection is decent. The cookies and baklava do a nice desert compliment.

Nice place with great view. The food is good and tasteful. The gyros I ordered is great! I'd like to try more with friends next time.

it's OK...kind of hip/trendy place...Not very Greek or Mediterranean. I think they have gyros, but no flafel...did not see baklava. I had a salad with salmon. It was good. But shouldn't a Mediterranean restaurant salad have olives?

  • Don C.

Dyann and I grabbed a late lunch here - she had a chicken gyro and I had a beef one. Her gyro split down the back so she had to eat it with a fork. She said the chicken was overcooked and did not have the grilled onions. My beef tenderloin gyro was tasty but could have used more taziki sauce. The Greek salad side was decent and seemed fresh. The glass of Chardonnay at $7.50 was no more than 4 oz - way overpriced for the area. This was a wine that can be bought at liquor stores for about $10 a bottle. The restaurant was very clean and I liked finding sanitizer in the restroom. We will probably give this place another chance. Including tip our check was just over $42.

The food is tasteful and atmosphere is alright. Unfortunately I felt as if I were rushed to order. The service is good but they could use a tiny bit of work. Overall it's a good restaurant. I recommend the lamb and skordalia gyro.

First time here, got the mezedes platter. The hummus was good, not the best I've ever had, but a mild lemony flavor. The dolmades were amazing, I have never liked these anywhere, they were warm, herbal seasoning and lemony/vingeary delicious. The taziki was very disappointing, very watery and super dilly. Don't think it had any garlic in it. The pita that came with was toasted, I was expecting warm soft pita. Not chips. I would go back and try a veggie gyro, very curious about that. (it is a chain, but had to give it a try!)

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is a fast casual restaurant chain new to the memphis area. Their grand opening was yesterday. We love Greek food so we decided to pay them a visit since they were also conveniently located near our house. Taziki's is in the old Pei Wei spot. The inside is definitely more open and brighter. the doors are a bit confusing. just go to the main entrance with the double doors. Basically, like Pei Wei and McAlister's, you place your order at the counter and you get a number to put on your table stand. The servers will bring the food to your table. You grab a paper menu on your way in the door and use that to place your order. The founder/owner was there to greet us on opening night. He explained that they don't have freezers and everything is made fresh and in house. Menu categories include starters, soups and salads, fresh grilled gyros, mediterranean deli sandwiches, taziki's feast (entree meals) and special of the day on the chalkboard know as fresh features. you can have beer or wine with your meal as well as soft drinks and tea. We decided to start with the Mezedes Platter appetizer-hummus and taziki dips served with dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) and pita. The star of the plate of the taziki dip. The hummus was okay. it was spicier than i like. it may have had some roasted red peppers blended in it as well. The texture was fine. The dolmades were not what i was expected. i am used to more of a traditional grape leaf. There was a char to the grape leaves on the outside giving it a smoky flavor. also, biting into the it, the texture of the rice seemed more like a fried rice. They were more spicy than sour to me. i like more of a lemon flavor to dolmades normally. Also, the pita comes more like toasted chips which is different. Most Greek restaurants that i have gone to serve warm soft pita. We both got gyros which are served with a wavy potato chip and choice of healthy side (basmati rice, roasted new potatoes, fresh pasta salad, tomato-cucumber salad, fresh cut fruit). i got the roasted new potatoes--not bad but a little salty. my husband got the tomato-cucumber salad which was nice and refreshing. i got the lamb and skordalia (garlic sauce) gyro with grilled onions and roasted red peppers. it wasn't bad but i think i preferred my husband's more traditional grilled lamb gyro. the flavor was pretty good. Most of their dishes/entrees run about 13.00 or less so it is pretty affordable. They seem offer both healthy and fresh food choices on their menu. They do not offer what i would call truly authentic Greek food. Taziki's is to Greek food as Pei Wei is to Chinese food. The food was however decent enough to make want to go back and try other items on their menu.

While not necessarily a totally authentic Greek experience, Taziki's offers a nice selection of Greek-inspired dishes that taste healthy and fresh. The setup is like Panera Bread and other fast-casual restaurants: you peruse the menu while waiting in line at a counter, order your food and drinks (including wine and beer, which is interesting), get a table number to set at your table, and your food is brought out to you. The gyros are pretty tasty--I especially like the chicken gyro with pesto and feta--and their sides are a little different than your standard fries or onion rings (they offer fresh fruit, roasted potatoes, and Greek pasta salad, among other healthy options). My favorite meal there is possibly the most un-Greek thing ever: chicken salad. Served on toasted wheat bread with leafy greens and tomatoes, their chicken salad is creamy, with a hint of lemon and fresh herbs. Their pasta special, which includes leafy greens, feta cheese, and chicken, is quite good too, and the hummus is creamy and well-spiced. The restaurant is new and clean, with tasteful decor and ample seating, and service is pretty good. Parking can be a bit tight, considering the stores next door and the Kroger around the corner, but I always find a spot, even on the busiest of days when Kroger's patrons are forced to park by the restaurant. Taziki's is a great casual lunch spot and a great place to go for a quick, easy dinner. The food is simple, fresh, and flavorful.

Nothing special and I'm not positive I need to come back. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Service was ok, again not great. I ordered the grilled lamb and am not convinced I actually got lamb. Even if it was lamb, a little over priced for what I got. After a hard day of moving and cleaning, it was an easy dinner.

The food was ok.... I had a Chicken portobello mushroom sandwich and some hummus with pita chips. Hummus was really good.... Overall flavor was good and they have many other items on the menu. I made the mistake of going during the first 10 days it opened so service wasn't good.... Kind of a train wreck and slow. I love Mediterranean/ Greek food and my personal choice is to probably not give it another shot just because I didn't like the assembly line atmosphere and food was just ok.

Had lunch for the second time today, and it was as good today as it was the first time. I had the chicken breast, Greek side salad, and red potatoes. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and an appropriate size serving. The salad was fresh, great dressing, and complimented the chicken. The potatoes were ok, just a little mushy, but ok. The service was excellent, and prices reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Awesome concept for causal Greek food that is fresh and affordable. They do have wine and beer. Very attentive staff and they remember repeat customers! I am a fan of the salmon Greek salad and Hummus. You can ask for steamed pita vs. the toasted pita chips. This place is always clean and has good hours. Very fast in the evening.

This restaurant was a nice little place. The food is pretty good, they offer healthy menu options and the prices are extremely reasonable. Decor is nice and rustic/modern. I went here for a group work lunch. The place wasn't packed, so it was easy to get in/out. This style restaurant is more of a fast casual (similar to Pei Wei or Jason's Deli if you've been there) where you wait in line, order at the counter, sit down at any table and then wait for someone to bring the food to you. The food was over all pretty good. They have a few salads, and you can choose which meat you would like to add (lamb, marinated chicken, etc.). I ordered the Greek Salad with Lamb, which was overcooked, but someone else got the chicken and said it was delicious. A few others got gyro type sandwiches and everyone loved their meal. In addition to our entrees, we got two orders of hummus...one with hard pita chips and one with soft...yum! Another bonus to this restaurant was the fact that you can get fresh cut fruit as a side option in stead of rice or pasta salad. They are also more than willing to give you sauce on the side. Overall, this place is well priced and the food is overall "good". It's perfect for a lunch spot or maybe a super casual dinner. They don't skimp on the portions, so come hungry! If you're looking to get out of your usual lunch spots in East Memphis, I would most certainly give this place a try.

Been a few times, only on Fridays incidentally, so I always order the Signature Pasta with soft pita bread. I enjoy it well enough. I've also had the hummus, again with soft pita, and I enjoyed it as well. I'm not crazy about this place; I don't go often, but I can't say I've had a bad experience or felt unsatisfied.

We just stopped on the way home from an auction. Living in Lakeland we normally go out just a few miles from the lakes. It is fast casual Greek American which is way better than Zaytoon but not my LA favorites. We tried grilled shrimp w potatoes and Greek Salad, lamb with Greek Salad and Pork w potatoes and asparagus. Hummus w pita was the appetizer. Everything was presented very well and prices were reasonable. However the spicy hummus was thinner and not as flavorful as I make and lacked my tiny olive oil splash, rosemary sprig and Parmesan shaving. My favorite after trying everything was the flavorful grilled shrimp and spicy red skins. Wow. We didn't try the Chardonnay every other table ordered. I've got a wine cooler full of better vintages. Basically don't be alarmed at the bad reviews. Go w open mind and enjoy!

Not very good. I found the food to be only so-so. There was a definite lack of meat in the gyros. I would have expected greek style condiments for dipping or putting in your gyros, but there was nothing. Left with a pretty dry unspiced gyro to choke down. What's with serving meals with chips and roasted potatoes? A bit too much starch. Tables were small and cramped. I found it a bit pricey for the so-so food, poor tables and semi cafeteria service.

  • Simon H.

Of all the Gyros I think the turkey breast is the best one, but they removed it from the menu so you have to ask for it. I've gotten the soup and the salad and they were just Ok-ish. The interior is nice with great natural lighting during daytime.

I went there with my wife, Coming from a Mediterranean background, and from LA, I can say that the food is good not the best though, I ordered the Beef Gyro and My wife ordered the Shrimp plate, both were good, but the portions are small for the price they are charging, around 12-14 $ a plate. Service was good

I am real fan of Mediterranean food so I was excited to try a "fast food" version of it in Memphis. One look at the menu and I knew it was likely going to be an epic fail of an experience. So many items that are FAR from Mediterranean. OK, so you have to adjust to your crazy Southerners who refuse to try anything new. OK, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to stay and try the food. The food is far from tasty. The hummus is watered down, the gyros served with barely any sauce. The meat (and I am quoting my husband since I am a vegetarian): "nothing special, they seemed to have forgotten to rub the spices that give the meat a Mediterranean flavor". They serve their gyros and sandwiches with potato chips! Seriously! You also get an additional optional side, two of the options sound more in line with the food: greek pasta salad and roasted potatoes. All in all, I should have gone with my gut feeling from the beginning and walked out, because it was indeed an epic failure! If you want a change from McDonald's and Burger King and you rave bland food, this sounds just like the perfect spot for you. If you like true Mediterranean food, I would recommend you drive 2 block down towards Poplar and eat at Casablanca. You will spend an extra 2 dollar per person, but the feast in your taste buds will be worth every penny!

My husband and I ordered take out from here. The place is really conveniently located and when we placed the carry out order there it wasn't a long wait. You can also sit at this little counter top while you're waiting and watch them make your food which is really reassuring to know that they have nothing to hide. We both ordered the turkey and bacon gyro. The meal comes with a large gyro, a side and potato chips. the portions were ok for me and I am pregnant. It was refreshing to complete my meal and be fulfilled but not full. I think that's really the take away from this place- its a healthier alternative to fast food, its quick, and clean, with fresh ingredients so why would you want to gorge yourself. Overall the place was very very clean, the staff was friendly and they do offer a small outdoor patio area for days with nicer weather. This will be one of my go to carry out places when I'm in the mood for something healthy and satisfying.

Ate here for lunch yesterday, the food is so fresh that they do not use freezers. Maybe a fridge but not freezer. That's what the manager bragged about. Yes this place is a fast food but the food are FRESH and healthy for you. They use real utensils and glasses. My wife, son, and I had the lamb gyro, roasted new potatoes for a side except for my wife, she had the basmati rice. The other side that everybody gets automatically is a ripple potato chips. To tell you the truth, the food was very tasty and quite delectable. The gyro was not greasy at all and my wife is really amazed of the flavor. Usually grease adds flavor. I might be losing my tastebud?!! I felt good good leaving because I did not feel heavy even though I was full. The price and service were decent. I liked the Mediterranean paintings and collages; great collections. We will definitely come back whenever we need a gyro fix.

This place is delicious!! I ate here a few days in a row while I was staying at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel located walking distance. My favorite was the grilled chicken basil pesto gyro. I wish we had this in Los Angeles!!

This place was referred by someone who knows my family likes to eat healthy...sometimes, so we had take-out family sized portions. I must say they were rather generous with every item as it fed 2 adults and 2 kids nicely. The Greek salad was delicious and crispy with the homemade salad dressing. However, someone was stingy with seasoning the chicken or forgot to put some on it or something cause it was blah-bland. But the potatoes and grilled vegetables...on point...fresh and seasoned and just right. Must've been two different cooks. Overall we enjoyed the meal and will most likely return.

Wanted a quick bite before a movie. Went to Tazikis instead of McAllisters, glad i did. Ordered the tilapia came with salad and rice. I know tilapia isn't an exciting fish but after the holiday weekend needed something healthy. The side salad was plentiful with a few tasty toppings. The tilipia was seasoned and cooked just right. Not bad for around $10. Lotsa families eating here tonight. Only bad thing tables were sticky.

Great Greek food for the city of Memphis. It's no Penelope's (a Toronto staple) but inexpensive, quick and tasty. Home made tzaziki was great! I love the rustic style wooden tables. Great spot for some lunch. Don't let other folks 'high ideals' for Greek food put you off. It's a wonderful place to grab some non-food-court greek food if you've got a craving.

Really good food but the service still needs some work. My Mom ordered some additional stuff and they got it all wrong. The manager then came over to the table and promptly made sure everything was fixed correctly. The food being so fresh and good will bring us back to this place often

I returned a second time and this time they got it right! They actually added the extra meat to my gyro and the taste was great!
