As many of you fellow yelpers can already tell based on my reviews, I very rarely give a place 5 stars unless it genuinely deserves it. I have literally (and ashamedly) tried nearly everything on the menu, and each and every time I am shocked at how delicious my order was. My new favorite thing are the milk shakes. Wow...absolutely deliciously. And let me tell you, it takes a lot of restraint to refrain from ordering one of those amazing sundaes to simply order a milkshake. But damn, I am glad I did. This review is going to be significantly shorter than my usual reviews because of the nature of this establishment. First: Food: Like I said above. Awesome 5 / 5 Service: I have always been served by extremely friendly, courteous, and nice people at Sheridan's. Usually at establishments such as these, you get the half-burnt-out high school student who doesn't give a shi* about the customers. I have never experienced that here. Everyone is upbeat and conversational! Shocking! Service: 5 / 5 Atmosphere: Not really an applicable stat since there is only drive thru service or outdoor seating. Price: Based on the incredibly high quality product I receive, I am 100% satisfied with the price, and thus: 5 / 5 Final Impressions: I love that I can always get fast, friendly service; delicious, fresh products; all at a fair price at Sheridan's. This place is truly worthy of a 5 star review. Anyone who gives it anything less needs to re-evaluate their standards.

Had the Hawaiian ice (cherry/root beer) w/ vanilla custard. Massive serving (beware). Co-worker had a concrete mixer (custom vanilla custard, hot fudge, marshmallows, and almonds). Great service, open late, definitely coming back.

Happened to be in the area on a hot day and decided to give this place a try. Was really hoping it would take me back to my childhood when my family would take a trip to the lake and we'd stop for Colonel Mustard's Frozen Custard (yes, that IS the best name ever for a custard place!). Unfortunately, while Sheridan's was good, it wasn't anything that has me wanting to go back. (In all fairness, I DID have Jerrys for the first time one week beforehand, so maybe my expectations were too high!) I ordered a cheesecake concrete with cherries, and my fate had the same except chose graham crackers as his topping. Like I said, they were good - we both liked the chunks of real cheesecake mixed in - but I wasn't blown away. Think I prefer DQ blizzards...

This was a "just ok" experience. I had three choices of where to get a frozen treat and I unfortunately chose Sheridan's. The guy behind the counter was unfriendly at best and the custard was pretty standard. I definitely will spend my money elsewhere.

Places like this make me want to pile drive my dairy allergy. The menu is nothing short of awesome. Various frozen custards with a plethora of toppings, including premium toppings like New York cheesecake. That's right. A scoop of custard (heaven in itself), which you can then top with the cheesecake and say, a little hot fudge? Good lord. So, I settled for a good latte. They also have 'Woweccinos', which include things like espresso, caramel, and fudge. You must go.

When I was a kid my mom used to take me to this frozen custard shop in east Memphis that I loved. It was always a treat that I looked forward to. But they closed a long time ago, much to my disappointment. So I was really glad when Sheridan's came to town. Their frozen custard tastes almost exactly like the old place from my childhood - sweet, rich and creamy. I always get mine in a cone. But they have wonderful sundaes and shakes as well.

My godson and I was waiting for our to started movie, meanwhile he and I decided to grab some ice cream. I had the vanilla cheesecake whatever it's called!! It was delicious and he had a chocolate milkshake which he enjoyed also. We will go back!!

Frozen custard is delicious, and Sheridan's staff serves it up in a friendly fashion. In case you're not familiar with it, frozen custard is like condensed ice cream - richer and thicker. They've got all kinds of specialty mixes and concretes (similar to DQ blizzard but with frozen custard). Perhaps I was spoiled by my experiences before I moved here, but I had better frozen custard several places there. I also wish they offered a smaller size than 12 ounces on their concretes, both for price and portion. Sheridan's is tasty and rich though, and if you haven't tried frozen custard before you're in for a treat.

Recently discovered the greatness that is Sheridan's frozen custard and I must say that if you are a fan of ice cream, you are going to go wild for the deliciousness they serve here! They have a speedy drive thru or you could walk up and order at the window (they have outdoor seating) and be greeted by a friendly employee who will offer prompt and accurate service. I am personally a huge fan of the birthday cake concrete; these things are normally so substantial that you could split one between two people. If you haven't tried this place yet, give it a go; you'll be glad you did!

Very good in all aspects except customer service and the time it took to go through the drive thru. It took me 20 minutes to go through at about 10:00 at night. The concretes (frozen custard) is amazing though. I would recommend this place 8 out of 10 times

I have a hit and miss relationship with this place. I always let the reviews convince me to go and then I am disappointed. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them four stars because maybe I'm just not a frozen custard person. It's not that it isn't particularly good... it's that it isn't what "want" when I go there.

I randomly tried this place spontaneously and let me tell you, it is super addicting!! The Peach Cobbler Sundae is to die for. It will melt in your mouth and keep you coming back for more! We have to come here at least once a week!! I wish they had a place to sit inside!

I live out of town now, but every time I'm back in Memphis I crave Sheridan's. They have the creamiest custard -- not too icy, and doesn't taste strongly of fake sweeteners like some frozen yogurt does. Imagine your favorite candy bar or other sweet -- oreos, caramel, you name it -- and multiply that deliciousness times ten, with a cherry on top, and you've got yourself a Sheridan's concrete.

My family just tried Sheridan's for the first time yesterday, and I have to say that everything we ordered was OUTSTANDING: the mint grasshopper concrete w/ Oreos, the caramel pretzel crunch concrete, and the cone with one scoop each of vanilla and chocolate custard. Wow, absolutely delicious! The owner is very pro-military, too, so that was a nice bonus...but not necessary to warrant the 5 stars Sheridan's deserves for selling a variety of delicious frozen treats at a price point below most run-of-the-mill ice cream shops.
