We scored a groupon for Larrys: $8 for 2 all you can eat Lunch Buffets. For $4 a person I wasn't expecting much, but I must say I was impressed. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, I believe our server's name was Debbie: she was awesome. The pizza is okay, nothing special. Much better than Ci Ci's. I do love how there are some wacky pies like macaroni and cheese and cheesecake dessert pizza. If you can score the groupon, do it! One heck of a deal.

We celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday at Larry's Pizza. The food was great and the service was awesome. I have already recommended the eatery to several friends, and I'm considering it as a location for a future birthday party. Kudos on a winning mix of value and quality.

Cici's vs Larrys: A lot went wrong... Here's a list! SERVICE: At cici's you are greeted with a smile. Here the lady was having a heated exchange with what sounded like a vendor. She told them to hold and took my money. The waitress seemed impatient when I couldn't understand her southern accent. An off duty employee sat at one of the many empty tables on a very loud conversation that set the mood of the place. VALUE/QUALITY: Here I paid $7 without a drink, while Cici's is $5 currently. Larry's had some crusty looking mini pizzas on display that nobody would want. Their mushrooms in the salad bar (and on the pizza) were the gross canned kind. The pizza sauce was cheap, flavorless and similar to a bad microwave pizza. The lettuce on the salad bar was shredded into thin strips (like taco lettuce). The only reason I can figure out for this is a laziness reasoning. They are too lazy to tear it by hand and since they serve it shredded on the taco pizza they figure nobody will care. Wrong. It sucked. The pizza is brought out to you when you order one in mini pizza form (not slices as it should be). When I asked the waitress to leave the whole mini pizza (as there were only one other set of customers in the whole place) she gave me a dissatisfied look. Conclusion: Everything was wrong with this place. I thought upscale waitresses/waiters would bring around full pizzas on a cart where you could select a slice or you could order a few custom slices. I at least expected as good of service, taste and price as CiCis and they fell well below that. Awful. Stay away.

The concept is cool. Its a buffet and you order what you want from the server and they bring not only your pizza but others every couple minutes. I like the Wes special and the chicken bacon ranch. It is good medium line pizza and you will for sure leave full. The peanut butter chocolate pizza is also very good.

Friendly Staff, Good Food, Very Reasonably Priced. Great place for lunch. I will frequent the restaurant.

Last summer I started frequenting this place. I loved it immediately. It was like a Ci-Ci's Pizza for grownups. The service was attentive and focused. the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Servers would take your order at your table, bring slices of your pizza to you, while putting the rest of it on the buffet for everyone - and they would bring different pizzas to all the tables to offer hot fresh slices to everyone. All of that has changed. There has apparently been a management change as well as a philosophy change. They seem to be shifting their focus from taking personalized orders from customers and delivering the pizza to their tables (along with a buffet accessible to everyone with a variety of pizza) to just a regular buffet. The biggest problem with that is that they are not keeping a variety of pizza choices on the buffet line. And the service has gone to hades. The uniqueness of this restaurant seems to have vanished. I won't be back for a while.

I saw a couple of reviews, and then a mention on another web site so I decided to check this place out. The concept is very different, and gives them an interesting niche. Basically you get to buy the buffet. You can order take out as well, but eat in there is only one real product, all you can eat. Curiously lunch is $7.00 and dinner is $7.25 (drinks extra); I'd love to know the decision process behind that small difference. A stop at the drink station and then you seat yourself. Salad bar is self serve. A very middle of the road selection and ingredient quality, but it was all fresh and well tended. There are three options to get pizza. You can order a pizza from a menu of about 25 choices. What that means is they will make it and bring it to your table first, then take it around. You can simply wait for a pizza to come around. The Texas De Brazil comparisons are good ones; servers just walk around with pizza. Lastly, after making a circle of the restaurant the servers drop the pizza off at a buffet station you can walk up and get some at any time. Breadsticks also come around from time to time. The pizzas are small and the pieces cut small, both of which are plusses as you can try many types plus being good for the kids. My only real complaint is the crust; it's a very basic low-flavor crust that I found disappointing. On like a slice of cheese the quality of the crust detracts from the overall slice. On a slice with more toppings like loaded baked potato the crust quality is much less of a factor. The thing that moves this from 3 stars to 4 for me is the desert pizzas. There are several and they are all quite good. The peach pie we had was particularly nice. I wish more pizza places did desert pies, and being able to get small slices of more than one is awesome. This place is a no-brainer if you're trying to feed a bunch of kids. For adults, it is a great value, but I think many might want a higher end product. Still, I'm an adult and I'd go here every once and a while just for the desert pizzas.

Eh -you get what you pay for. If you're a fan of overstuffing your face with mediocre pizza, then this place is good for the money. The staff was very friendly though!

This place is just not worth the drive. The best thing about this polace is that its located right next to Kirby Wines and Liquor. Its a shame that the best thing from the whole dining experience was the salad bar! I mean you guys have ten + types of pizza, most sounded disgustig, and the best one was the supreme pizza names after some fat guy, Also two people I was with got sick the next morning and I'm sure it was from the chicken they had. Something about it just didnt taste right.

Came for a friend's birthday just trying to grab a quick, cheap bite before going out to drink. Service was so slow and the food wasn't all that great. To top it off the kitchen closed before bringing us our last pizza we paid for, even though we had been waiting for hours. Asked to talk to a manager and all he did was bring my friend a dinky ice cream cup. We all left hungry...from a buffet. Great concept for a restaurant, just horrible execution. Would NOT recommend!

So here's the deal, you pay for the all you can eat pizza (and remember to tip if paying with a card) and grab a table. A server will come around and either offer you some pizza that someone else had requested or ask if you have any requests. Live it up guys, don't be shy. Each person in my group had a different request and it was totally cool. Then just sit back and let the pizza feast begin. In my opinion the pizza tastes pretty identical if not better than Aldo's pizza in downtown (this is not me saying the pizza is great, I am not a fan of Aldo's pizza) and for the price and the variety you get, this is a deal. My recommendation is the cheeseburger pizza, which is just fun to get, as well as a custom pepperoni and mac & cheese pizza which is what every 9 year old dreams of. Then you get dessert pizza. The fruit ones pretty much taste like pies, but the best thing there is the cheesecake and Bavarian cream dessert. Make sure to get yourself a soda to wash it all down! Have some fun and enjoy it guys. Price, variety, fun-factor: 4 stars

I only rated this four stars because im from Arkansas and have been to the Original Larry's...Its hard to top. That being said this is an excellent option if you have children or just have a craving for pizza. The service is ALWAYS great. My favs are the buffalo chicken, Loaded Potato, and Cheeseburger. Worth trying at least once. (IT PUTS CICIS TO SHAME)

I should have known better! The pizza was not good at all...any of them. The crust taste like paper and all ingredients were very greasy and not fresh at all. I could continue with my discontent but what should I expect for $7.00 all you can eat buffet. The overall setup is basically CiCi's Pizza with a different name. The only difference is they deliver the pizza to your table. They offer custom pizzas acting as though they are taking your order, which is not the case. I was seated and ordered three slices of pizza, all of them different. Then after 30 minutes, I think I was offered almost every combination that they already had cooked but not my order. I had to ask three times and turn down numerous gross combinations before they got it correct. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff was very friendly and they were at my table every 3 minutes....but sometimes too much is very annoying! There are many other options for cheap pizza and I recommend calling them. They will be at your house within 30 minutes or it is free! Also you can stay at home; it would be a much better experience and better pizza.

This place appears to be a copy of Cici's pizza. $7 for the buffet. You can special order from the menu also. I did this as the pizza that was out was old and cold. The crust is the typical buffet cardboard variety. The pizza did have more toppings than other low end buffets. Everybody working was very nice and the service was good. The salad bar was a total disaster from lunch and needed a complete go over. I would not come back unless somebody else wanted to and I would try to suggest somewhere else. It's really more of a star and a half. UPDATE- After I thought about it, I wouldn't waste another meal here even if someone else wanted to try it. It was pretty darn bad.

I didn't really come in expecting anything great. The service was okay, the servers came by, offered, left, brisk and efficient. The manager or who I'm guessing is the manager came by a few times and was a bit more approachable with his offerings to every guest. 3 for service. The food. Of course the salad bar was paltry but the amount of items, while not of highest quality was amiable. They have fake bacon bits but they also have what looks like sunflower seeds which imho adds a nice depth to salads even if all the ingredients are sysco grade. As for the pizzas, they have a very creative and extensive variety. It seems they dish out pepperoni out quite a bit as well as their Fat Larry Supreme. Most of the others are by request. It may have been because there were a lot of patrons, at least by their standards but the pizzas were not rotated very well. I noticed that the side closer to the bathrooms were rather neglected at times. Also for that amount of people they should have dished out a few more pizzas because generally none of the pizzas except dessert got to the bar for people to get. To taste... well I didn't throw up Their crust isn't horrible but its not great either, same as cicis I would say. Toppings were mostly overly salty, bland (apple pie :( ), weirdly combined or a combination of any that just was a tad off from what was intended. But while I can't say I would be willing to have the buffet again, there was one pizza that was pretty delicious and worth a try: baked potato Pretty good place to feed your kids, just make sure to bring books or something because unlike cicis they don't really have a way of keeping them entertained between waiting for your slices to come tableside.

Sub par Ci Ci's pizza at best. Was there over an hour and only had two servers offer us any pizza. They would stop at the tables closest to the kitchen first and within 3 tables be completely out. I stopped 4 seperate servers to ask for two certain kinds of pizza only to be told they'd put in the order yet it nevr arrived. They never refilled our drinks. The floors were littered with trash and food. The walls were dirty and it was about 80+ degrees in the dining room. The salad bar had a fairly decent offering, but there was fake cheese along with low grade bleu cheese dressing. In the hour we were there they NEVER added any pizza to the buffet line. It contained the same four pieces of old dried out pizza the entire time. We paid in advance of eating as that is their policy. I used a debit card and gave a $3 tip. If I'd known the experience to be had, I'd never have tipped such poor service/food quality. For two adults with drinks the total was $19.75 and with the addition of the $3 tip, $22.75. Save your time and money. Go elsewhere.

Went in on my birthday for the first time. Not only did they close the kitchen without giving us one of our three pizzas, they took forever to even deliver any other pizzas out. I definitely don't recommend if you want to do something quick.

As far as cheap, fast food goes, this place was great. No, their pizza is not the best in the world, but it is good, and you factor in that it was only $7 then you get a GREAT deal for a GREAT price. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, myself, as did the other two people I was with. I keep reading all of these reviews about how bad it is... $7 people! Lower your standards or go buy a $30 pizza.

  • Barry W.

Decent place, okay pizza buffet - I am amazed at the criticism for a seven dollar pizza buffet all you can eat. Guys, you can't even buy A pizza and have it delivered for less than $15-20! Your standards need to be set for how much your paying! Is it Pi, a place where I easily pay $25 or $30 for a pizza pie - no but I'm not paying $25 or $30! Suggest another place to me and I'll send you over to the Wendy's across the street, you can pay 10 bucks for a burger and fries. The staff was great and the service was good. Again, a decent place for a seven dollar all-you-can-eat buffet.

Interesting concept but poor execution. My wife and I have been curious to try Larry's since it opened. Supposedly you order a pizza from the menu and they bring it to your table. You take as much as you want and the rest goes to the buffet. At least that's what the lady at the cash register told us. What actually happened was we ordered a pizza and watched it go to one of three other tables. If there was anything left after that it made the rounds of the other tables. The wait staff came to ask us if we wanted anything about once every five minutes, but every single pizza that came out of the kitchen went to the exact same three tables first every single time. We did manage to get a few slices and the quality is about what you would expect for cheap buffet pizza. Thin, saltine cracker, tasting crust topped with ketchupy sauce and low quality ingredients. If you have ever had CiCI's pizza it is basically identical. Curiosity satisfied... won't be back.

I guess you could consider this place CiCi's big brother, that went to college and got an ok job. So here is the deal: for $7 you get to order as many different pizzas as you like. When they are ready, the waiter comes to your table and serves you how ever many slices you like. Whatever is not served to you is then offered up to the other patrons to try. Meanwhile you are also being offered other varieties of pizza. I don't know what the proper name for this style of dining is, so I will just say it is a sit down buffet. Our first visit was opening week, and they were pretty packed. It is a buffet so you pay once entering and seat yourself. Upon seating we were immediately approached by the waiter who explained how it all worked. Before the waiter was done taking our order, we had already been offered 2 types of pie. What I like about Larry's is their more "adventurous" pies. One that quickly caught my fiancé's attention was the baked potato pizza (ever since trying the one at Mellow Mushroom, he swears this is his favorite type of pizza), so he ordered that. My favorite was also on the menu, buffalo chicken and I also ordered a chicken fajita pizza. We had our 2 kids with us and I must say this place is GREAT for kids. I could tell the quality of pizza would be heads above CiCi's, but then again I cant think of anything that would be worse. We sampled a few slices as they came around until ours finally made it. I must say, the baked potato was almost at the level of Mellow Mushroom. And for a fraction of the price, thumbs up. The buffalo chicken was ok, it wasn't the Hi-Tone(RIP), but it was sufficient. And the chicken fajita... I have no clue what it tasted like because by the time it made it around I was super stuffed and could not take another bite. But it looked good. There are also different dessert pizzas. A cheesecake one that was weird for me because it is served hot and I don't think cheesecake should be hot. A apple pie which was good. And a chocolate chip peanut butter cookie one that I thought was way to sweet, but my fiancé loved it. The salad bar had shredded iceberg lettuce, which I despise so I had no interest in that. All in all Larry's is ok. Not my first, second, or third choice, but its ok I guess. Advise: Do not sit in the party room area in the back if you don't have to. We made this mistake once because we had a couple of my son's friends in tow. The servers do not make it back there often, and we barely got the pizzas we requested.

For a $10 meal (buffet plus drink), it really wasn't bad. I agree with the guy that said it doesn't hold a candle to the original in AR, but it's still decent. It was dead when I was there, so I was a little leery - especially after seeing the few tired-looking pieces on the buffet line. However, there was no problem with me ordering up whatever I felt like and having it made fresh. I tried...a LOT. :) Thought the baked potato would be MUCH improved without the ranch sauce, so left that off any that I ordered that would normally have it. Standouts for me: Mac and Cheese - fresh out this is melty, cheesy heaven. I think it would have been even better with the addition of mushrooms and jalapenos. Other faves - BBQ with jalapenos and buffalo chicken (omit ranch!) with jalapenos. I would add cheddar chz and onion to the buffalo chx if I ordered it again. Dessert-wise, fresh from the kitchen chocolate chip gets my vote. Service was really good - prompt refills, plenty of pizza offers, and no complaints about all the different ones I wanted them to make - even though there weren't many people there to consume all the slices I didn't want!

Much better than we expected....!!!! The pizza was excellent and the service was really good. My wife is not a big pizza eater, but we decided to go there for a quick lunch and she really enjoyed the pizza. For the price, you really can't beat what they have to offer. We will be back, for sure!!!!

Went to Larry's last weekend with the family,it was a great experience. The service is unmatched by anybody. The pizza is the best in town. The crust was the best I've ever had. This is definitely not your CiCi's or Stevie B's.It's better. They bring the pizza to your table so you don't have to get up.Even after I told them I was full, they still came back at least 15 times. One thing that is great besides all the other things is,if you want a certain pizza with, let's say 5 times the toppings, they will make it for you and you will not be charge like everywhere else.We are going back right now and will probably go back next week

Larry's has spectacular service for a pizza buffet. This joint is not unlike Texas de Brazil (seriously, humor me): the pizzas are (quite constantly) carried from table to table by enthusiastic servers before ending up at the buffet. While you *can* go browse the picked-over buffet, there's really no reason to ever leave your seat! Whereas I had gotten a little irritated initially at seeing a "tip" line on my receipt, my resentment melted and I felt bad for only having a dollar to give the servers. But the comparisons to TdB break down. The pizza. It's, um, pretty bad. Worst I've had in town. If someone ever fed me this pizza, our friendship would be in crisis. I did not have the guts to try the salad bar.

So let me start by saying all of the negative reviews for this place stun me. I am not sure what pizza they are use to and what they are paying for it but if you want fast friendly and tasty pizza go here. Seriously it is $7 for all you can eat. This also is not a buffet that you are use to. You get your menu and select a couple of types of pizza you wanna try, place the order with your waitress and when its done they bring it hot and fresh to the table. That does at times cause a delay in your eating but I liked cuz it gave my food time to settle. There were 3 of us and we got there about an hour and a half before closing that didn't stop them from cooking all the fresh pizzas we wanted. Now they are smart about it... They make small pizzas. Only about 4 slices per pizza. Just right for everyone to try a slice and they aren't left with a huge amount of left overs. The chicken parmesan was probably my favorite and I loved the crust. The staff was extremely friendly and over indulging. We had an issue with the soda we ordered tasting funny at first and the owner offered to make us a to go pizza for the trouble. We didn't bother cuz we just got tea and by the time we left the thought of taking any food home made me nauseated. Things do happen but it was the thought that counted. For those who compare this to cici's I would like to know which one they are going to I would go.try them too. It was nothing like that to me. It was a fun friendly atmosphere with tasty pie that leaves you wanting to try more.

This used to be my favorite pizzaria in Memphis, but they've just changed my favorite part--now you can only order pizzas exactly from the menu--nothing customized. Imagine my surprise when ordering a pepperoni and mushroom pizza that it wasn't allowed! What kind of pizza restaurant does that! That's not exactly a strange pizza.

  • Matt M.

Super cheap. Pizza not bad overall; specialty pizzas are better than others; dessert pizzas are great. Service good but relentless. Needs a way to tip after the meal. Needs a sign/card (like Texas De Brazil) to tell servers to stop offering you pizza. Good for a family night out on a budget. Not good for a date.

This is a 5 star review based on pizza buffets. I'm from where the original Larry's Pizza started and this one is spot on in quality. The only thing it's missing is Larry himself. Best pizza IMO is buffalo chicken. But everything's good. They kept the Greg's Special when Larry's franchised, so don't miss that one. Dessert pizzas at Larry's are the best. My suggestion...chocolate chip peanut butter. Pace yourself because of the style of buffet. Don't grab just anything the servers bring out. Your favorite will come out after you get full if you aren't selective. You won't be disappointed with Larry's Pizza.

Went with wife and 2 kids tonight. Service was excellent, got to try almost every pizza on the menu. Servers bring everything to your table! Cheescake pizza for desert was great along with Honey Mustard chicken pizza, loaded baked potato pizza and other fun pizza's. Kids had a good time, family friendly. Overall great deal! Will come back for sure!
