Great lunch spot! The food was really good, service was very friendly and the music was very 90s rock! The best part is, since it's not right on the main strip, there was no wait for lunch, even though all the other restaurants were slammed. Only downfall was that the food took a little while to come out, but you can tell they put time into it!

Sweetwater blue on tap, apple and pork panini, and live keyboard player on Saturday night. For a tourist town, this is pretty good. Wished for a touch more variety on the menu and with the live music but it'll do. Per friendly patio and friendly service. Saw a full bar behind the counter too. Mostly domestics on tap but rocky hop and sweetwater blue made this list!

Nice relaxing atmosphere for a drink outside. Service was friendly. Didn't try the food but appears to be average bar food offerings. We were going to try some food but they closed earlier than we expected and we didn't want to order food at closing.

A very great place to hang out the food is awesome along with the atmosphere. Everyone there is friendly and will make sure your visit is great. The Hillbilly Philly is good and the Toms favorite is great. The music at night is really enjoyable!

Pig Lover's Panini was great! Nice atmosphere. Sat on patio and weather was good! Great location-- off the Parkway but very close.

Service horrible, food decent. Waited forever just to get drinks ordered and then additional waiting just to order food, all from two separate people. Was excited by decent reviews, but thoroughly disappointing experience. Good luck if you get the waitress we had. She also mixed up the checks after showing us different amounts, after we gave her our cards.

Great place tucked away off the beaten path - but in the middle of everything! Food was great - we had a party of 14 and so we had a little of everything - and- everybody was happy! Service was quick, attentive and with a great attitude! GREAT place! And yes, the pig panini was a hit:)

We enjoyed our time spent at Back Alley the service was great! If you want some traditional food nice atmosphere and cold beer you have to stop by, also the corn pups were amazing! You have a great view and if it's not too chilly you can't sit outdoors, indoors or out you will have spectacular nature views and a great time.

Great food & music. Everyone's very friendly. Our waitress, Ashley, remembered us from our visit the day before. Will visit again on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Disappointing food quality for the price. The pulled pork nachos were served with stadium-style cheese sauce. My burger was a cheap patty with 2 onions. I asked for bacon and what came out were 2 strips of yellow (yes, yellow) pieces of something that barely resembled bacon. I asked the server about it and he said that is what their bacon looks like. Well, 5 people at out table were not brave enough to eat it. Pulled pork seemed to be the best option among everything ordered. But again, very mediocre food. But that seems to be the rule, not the exception, in Gatlinburg. I always support the local business but in this town, to avoid being disappointed with food, you are honestly better off going to a chain restaurant for dinner. I can't believe I just said that but it is true...

Wonderful little place tucked off the Parkway! Love the laid back atmosphere. Our waitress, Glenda, was so sweet! She makes you feel at home! The BLT and the Pig Lovers Panini are awesome! Fair pricing for the portions given. I would definitely visit again!

We had lunch here our first day in Gatlinburg and it was very good. They served our drinks in big jars, which I loved. I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was really good and very filling. We also had their fried pickles, they were some of the best I've had yet. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Ate lunch here after walking through aquarium a few months ago when I was in town and this was absolutely my favorite meal of the entire trip. The corn fritters with the custom sauce was amazing, my salad was fresh and exactly as I ordered it and the waiter was extremely friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Stopped by in the afternoon for a few drinks. Bartender was very friendly and staff was super friendly. Philly sub was to die for!

Good food, slow service. I highly suggest the hillbilly nachos. We had to track down the server many times and it took nearly 10 minutes to get my card back after we had paid. Overall, a decent spot for a drink.

If you are trying to get away from the craziness that comes with Gatlinburg then this is a place to grab a bite to eat. After a day of hiking the Smoky Mountains and the entire family was ready to eat a live bear. This place became the bear and did the job. We started off an appetizer with fried creamed corn. While my oldest decided it wasn't for her my youngest took the basket and allowed me to have a few of the Nuggets. I had the Hillbilly Philly for dinner and this tasty treat did the job. The perfect portion of meat, cheese, peppers, and onions and the ability to dip it in an AU jus was great for my empty belly. I never asked my family how their food tasted as I felt like a hillbilly eating since I was so hungry. Sorry folks! I had no manners what so ever. Being off the beaten path and the live music did it for me. I hate the craziness of gatlinburg and the place made me enjoy gatlinburg for a few hours.

Horrible service!!! Went there for lunch today and decided to eat outisde, from the moment we sat down, the female server with a piercing just below her lip, she did not say her name and I didn't bother asking her. She was just so rude, bitchy, and very unpleasant. What happend to the southern hospitality here? So we walked out after she gave us that horrible attitude. SMH -.- if I could give it zero stars, I definitely would!

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the aquarium. The food was great. The pork lovers panini was fantastic. The hot wings we ok, good have been a little more crispy, and hotter, but all in all were fine. The Yew Haw Dunkel was delicious. I could have drank a handful, but we had plans to visit dinner show later that night, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

Excellent! Two hillbilly phillies, a burger, chicken tenders, corn dog, & some kind of pork panini with apples on it. The only things that were average were the chicken tenders and burger. Krinkle cut fries, pesto pasta salad, coleslaw, and chips were all outstanding! Pickle spears were even good, next time I'll try to small corn dogs and an order of pickle spears! We will return!

Food was very good but service was disappointing. Not sure why but our server just seemed to be really unhappy. I wouldn't say she was rude but the experience was really unpleasant. The wait for drink was pretty long for a Tuesday when there were only a few tables of guests.

Excellent stop for a snack and cold beer while walking the strip. We enjoyed the brisket nachos, buffalo wings, and fried pickles. All were delicious. Our waitress was friendly, personable, and provided prompt service with quick refills on our local selection of draft beers. Great spot! Glad we tried it.

This place is a hidden gem! Get the Pig Lovers Panini, one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! I couldn't be happier with our lunch choice!

We found this little place while walking through Gatlinburg. Excellent service, excellent food! Our glasses stayed full, and our waitresses were so helpful with navigating our way around town. Quite a pleasant surprise after our visit to the Aquarium today! This is one we will return to again, possibly on this very same trip!

Tom and Earls Backyard Grill is a place where only the best come to dine. Julie and Rebecca where too kind! I highly recommend you take a quick 2 minute walk from the strip to come and enjoy the entertaining atmosphere that these two provide. If you are from out of town and are searching Yelp for some good food...COME HERE!!! You won't be disappointed.

Went in with every intention of eating and watching the football playoff games. Could not hear my wife or the bartender. The music volume was good for an outdoor concert. Had 1 beer and and left to eat elsewhere. No idea about the food. The beer was good. Found another restarant on the main drag that was great. If you like quite dinning eat elsewhere.

downtown Gatlinburg is tourist trap hell to begin with, so be prepared to lower your expectations. gf and I went Saturday afternoon along w/ 5 other friends. the fact that this place had immediate available seating for our large party was a plus. live band was performing, so we didn't mind the loud music. small yet decent beer selection with 2 local brews on tap. drinks came in a reasonable amount of time, but one of us needed to ask 3 times for a Red Bull. food selection is limited as it came to low gluten / low carb offerings so, GF and I ordered the chicken wings. menu was all sandwiches/wraps w/ no actual entrée options. Rocky Mountain nachos were premade machine sliced brisket w/ canned nacho cheese. I prefer my wings crispy, and these were about as far away as you could get. we informed the wait staff and they took them back to the kitchen and supposedly cooked them longer and brought them back out (I didn't know that was health code allowed). they were still far too undercooked for my taste, so we simply boxed them to go (since the other 5 in our party were already done eating by this point). I reheated the wings in the oven yesterday(forever), and they were amazingly good. they had a citrus marinade to them, so perhaps that had something to do with it. up until this point we were still at 4/5 stars until the checks came. of the 4 separate checks, ours was the only correct one. we were stuck there another 25 minutes while they fumbled to fix the rest.

I am a true critic of food, service and atmosphere. I am harsh too. So it is with applause that I say check this place out! The French dip sandwich was great, the salad was huge and fresh, the bartender Bill was helpful, calm and very accommodating. We also were treated to a live piano performance by a very talented fellow. The tomato soup was good paired with a grilled cheese-but I would recommend telling them to add extra cheese as it was skimpy-but still very good. You won't be disappointed... Remember you are in Tennessee. I believe they try and treat people right.

Great food off the "strip" in G'burg. In a back alley and has a great menu, decent bar and good atmosphere. The pork loin panini rocked. Burger was good too.

Excellent food, we'll prepared and some of the best service in Gatlinburg. Every one from the bar tenders to the servers were as friendly as can be. We are there one night and quickly became regulars, eating dinner here nearly very night of our vacation. It simple fare, burgers and sandwiched, it's all in the execution and ingredients. All top notch here. We really enjoyed the live music. This guy sounded like he should be performing in arenas. I'll definitely be coming back.

The service was the best part. My husband and I stopped in about 7:45 to split a sandwich with drinks. The sandwich wad good, drinks good, and friendly bartender. The sad part was the place closes at 8pm. They turned away multiple people while we ate. Nice outdoor seating. Located behind the strip. This place does not get the attention it deserves.

Just stumbled across this place while shopping and decided to give it a try. Their decor is incredibly cozy and the outside eating area was really nice. We had the chicken wrap and fries and the burger with chips. Weren't crazy about the wrap, the chicken was overdone and the blue cheese wasnt good. Their "homemade " chips seemed like they poured a bag of ruffles in the deep fryer and then covered them in seasoning salt. Their fries were good, go ahead and spend the extra $1.99 for them instead of the chips. Now the burger was delicious! The meat itself was moist and flavorful, just because of that I would go again.

This place was amazing, the food was great and cheap. Good beer selection, and seasonal taps. If you get a chance try some of their chips!

Music was good. But service and food was pretty bad. I paid $10 for fried pickles and the portion size was tiny. The waitress said they count out 21 slices of pickles...what?! Come and listen to the music but don't get food here

Being a guy who believes in the second amendment, I was totally disappointed that a "no guns allowed" sign was displayed in window after I enjoyed my meal. The stars represent my opinion in this business telling me that my second amendment doesn't apply in there restaurant.
