My husband and I had a terrible experience here. Our server was nice and attentive, but other than that we have nothing good to say. The food is way overpriced for it to be a burger and fries. I had a chicken philly that was ok, but my fries weren't good. My husband's burger was so poorly undercooked that he couldn't eat it, and while I realize he could've said something we just were over it by that point and wanted to head out.

Really good service! Food was nice. Not delicious but good enough. we went there because they have a vegan burger and on the roads it's hard to find vegan food. If you like their page on Facebook (specifically the Gatlinburg one) and show them , they give you free dessert!

Johnny Rockets is an awesome place to eat. On January 10th 2015 my wife and I were in Gatlinburg when suddenly my sugar dropped. It was1:30 pm and the first door we saw was Johnny Rockets establishment. I walked inside on the verge of passing out and the young manager that was on duty came right over and greeted us. He set us at bar area in front of the grill and immediately brought me a plate of fries and a drink! Within minutes he was back checking on me to make sure that I had all that I needed. I told him at this time that he saved me with his kindness and generosity. To my regret I cannot remember this young man's name but will always remember what he did for me. The food was wonderful.! We sat and laughed as we enjoyed the atmosphere and our meal immensely. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys great food at a reasonable price in family atmosphere! I give Johnny Rockets a 5 star rating for its food & very courteous customer service. My wife and I will always remember and enjoy the memories of this trip and the kindness we were shown by the manager and employees of this restaurant! If all the Johnny Rockets restaurants are run as this one is I see a wonderful future for this company. Sincerely James and Kristine Gibson , Buffalo Valley Tennessee.

We had lunch there the other day. Food was good and the service was decent. My husband had to ask for ranch dipping sauce at least 4 times. The prices are rather high. I understand location does have something to do with that, but lunch for a family of 4, the adults had water to drink, no dessert, and then add the tip for your waiter came close to $50 bucks...

We had eaten at the Mexican place upstairs. when we were done the server directed us to an elevator as my wife is handicapped. The elevator stops at ground level inside Johnny Rockets. As we walked by a rude woman at the cash register yelled at us for using the bathrooms but not buying anything. She then denied saying that but was kind enough to continue to yell at me as I left. Never ever a rocket burger or shake for me.

There are, in fact, few times in life that you will ever, ever go to a place and pay as much money as this place charges and get anywhere CLOSE to as terrible of food as they serve. My wife and I paid $34 for two NASTY burgers and two plates of burned dry fries. $34!!! For $34 we could have bought an entire Steak'n'Shake. Even the water tasted horrible. Do NOT go here. Listen to all the reviewers. There's a reason why this place gets 2 stars.

Burger was not the best but it serves its purpose. Fries were just ok. I can see why all the negative reviews. It was kind of like steak n shake feel at 3am during a weekend. Hectic messy and thrown together,.but in the end you get an ok burger to keep you from starving. Kids may like the theme but not sure this lasts with all the other options.

The atmosphere makes you think you're in for a delicious diner treat, but for us that was not the case. Slow service, really fatty burgers (I expect that a diner burger will not be lean, but this was way too overly fatty) and over priced kids meals. Much better options all around.

Very disappointed with service and food for the $. Also they shouldn't have items on the menu and website menus that is not available. 1 star just because the key da enjoyed the shakes. Won't be back.

Waited 5 minutes to be seated and then after 10 minutes with no acknowledgement by the staff we decided to leaves. Also, the people who were seated before is decided to leave as well. Being a small business owner and knowing how difficult the economy has been I was furious by the quality of service we received.

Just finished our meal here and read all of the reviews. I'm kind of surprised that there are not more better reviews. I give these guys a five star. Service was great. Our server was amazing. Food was amazing and very clean! See you next time!!

I'm not really sure why we picked this but we did. While my malted was fantastic, the fried pickles were basically disgusting. When asked, I was totally honest that they had been gross (normally I'd just bite my hungry tongue) and I don't even think they were removed from the bill. Our service was great but I don't think I'd waste my time here while in Gatlinburg again.

Waited over 10 mins for someone to acknowledge us at our table. 4 servers stood behind the counter with only 3 tables seated. After a waitress walked by us for the third time and didn't say anything we left. I can only imagine how poor the food would have been bad we actually waited long enough to get our order taken. GO ANYWHERE Else

This place is a joke. The wait staff is slow. The food was greasy and too salty. Not to mention overpriced. We ate here twice, both times we were disappointed. We Will never go back.

All decor. Nice, pleasant staff. Food? Not that great and over priced for portions. But, they are right in the heart of the area.

Bad example of this chain. The service was slow and dismissive, the burgers had very little sauce, and the milkshakes didn't come to the table until we were ready to pay for the meal. Go to Five Guys.

What. The. Heck. Is. This. I worked at fuddruckers for a year... We had a lot more customers than this at a time and we had everything out in 10-15 mins... I'm sitting here in Johnny rockets almost an hour later wondering where my food is.. I got my milkshake... Kind of.. It looked so sloppy and half made. This place needs to be turned around big time.. This is a disgrace and I wasn't pleased at all.. They forgot our sweet potato fries, they were out of something I ordered and told me 20 mins later, completely messed our order basically... My friend waited almost an hour for her chocolate milkshake.

Good food but Wayyy overpriced. They didn't tell you that things costed more such as bell peppers or onions on a sandwich. For three look to spend around 40.00

If u like waiting a hour for a cold $10 hamburger, then this is the place for you. My party of 4 ordered 3 burgers and chicken fingers, and it took over an hour to get our food. When we did receive it, my burger was cold and the rest of the food was room temp at best. Another burger did not have the proper fixings. I returned my burger and ended up not eating. Waitress comp'd my burger, but was unapologetic regarding the slow service and lack of food quality. We ended up paying $30 for barely edible food after waiting an hour. Needless to say, we will never return here. And suggest you bypass this place as well.

Great onion rings and service. Parking is a disaster and non-existent. Service was good . It's for the kids, but bring your wallet, 3 meals and an app was $50.

I like this place simply for the atmosphere, but missed not seeing the dancing servers/workers. My family of 4 including 2 children was upwards of over $60! 2 burgersm 1 philly and a chili dog....and 2 kids shakes and 2 reg shakes....please explain this pricing structure. The burgers were ok, but the server was great! Young man wearing Buddy Holly glasses...I left him a great tip.

We went here on our last day of vacation in Gatlinburg. Our waiter was a young guy named Fenway. He did an great job. The food was good and wasn't to expensive.

Not making this up. We waited for our food order to be taken and turned into the kitchen while our waitress danced to 50's songs - for over six minutes. The same 50s songs play over and over and over. We were there almost 50 minutes (not by choice) and heard almost every song twice or three times. Food was dull. Not horrible, but not great. We were given twelve fries exactly on all three combos (we counted them). Twelve. The music is so loud that you cannot talk to your table mates in a normal tone. You don't have to scream - but you certainly cannot "talk". Our waitress also wasted three minutes of our lives performing ketchup art in paper bowls. Ketchup art for two adults and a seventeen year old. No lie. Don't bother unless starving (we were).
