Great pulled pork sandwich I got it with baked beans and slaw and both sides were wonderful strange music choice for a bbq joint but nice atmosphere

Nice looking place ! We got here at 1:30 on a Tuesday ! No one really here! After eating the food I know why! I got the four meat sampler ! Pulled pork , brisket (if I have to tell you it's beef you don't belong in a BBQ joint ) spare ribs 3 bones and sausage! Ok ! Brisket was little slices and very dry! Note to cook : I would suggest to cut in one or two inch cubes ! Hold in three or four portions and cover in a beef broth with portion of brisket dripping . A tad bit of sauce if desire! The pork was pulled perfectly , but perfectly dry ! Note to cook: Pulled pork is a little like spaghetti noodles ! All that great collagen and fat would be a Hope you had a great vacation ! A deposit secures the date! We need a signed contract and a deposit! Please mail deposit asap so we can ensure your event . Mailing address 236 rosewood manor drive Scottsville va 24590 Thanks Teresagreat way to keep this pork from being dry! The pork and brisket had a good flavor , but very dry ! The sausage was perfect and the ribs were over cooked to my taste but edible ! A lot of meat on the bones for the ribs . They came out with no sauce ! I like it that way ! Atmosphere good! I thought it was interesting to have our cashier with a Russian accent ! Lol. My wife order the salad and the cashier was a little pushy to have her choose a meat ! She reluctantly choose a meat and when she got her salad , no meat! Lol and a $4 charge ! They corrected the mistake ! This an order first and then they bring it to you! They ask for tips but don't do anything but bring out the food! $50 for the four meat a chicken sandwich and a salad 3 drinks ! Ok food ! Over Price for the quality .

Pulled pork portion was huge and very very tender, but only warm. The sides were super hot. All good, would definitely come back.

Very disappointing! Had to order before sitting and the food was not very appetizing. I ordered chili and had to ask to have it warmed up. Would not even melt cheese. Tasted like canned chili. No real customer service. Only had 2 customers when we came in. My husband's ribs were not bad but had been cooked for some time. We were trying to find a new place for when we visit but we will not be back here.

Our first night in town we ate here. The good points us that the brisket I ate was tremendously tasty. The sides were great as well. I was disappointed in the size of the hush puppies for they were very small. The establishment was not well cooled. You have to order your food at the counter but the staff will bring it to your table. My son loved the pulled pork and my fiancee loved the brisket and ribs.

Good BBQ if you are in a hurry. Located across the street from the convention center so this was quick and easy for lunch. Daughter had ribs and she enjoyed them. They were not more expensive than my local bbq place at home. Everyone enjoyed their meals. This place is set up to get you in and out. You order at the counter and they call your number when it is ready. Non-alcoholic drinks are self serve. They do serve beer and wine. This is a great option if you are at a function at the convention center.

Food was meh, and the five flies at our table were a nice distraction from it. My 9 year old loved the corn dog and the Mac and cheese was good. My parents seemed to find the ribs acceptable. The pork was not great. Neither were the fries, and the corn on the cob was disgusting - over cooked and so gross. The staff was also meh, they disappeared for a while. Nothing about this place is worth making a trip or going back. Should've read the Yelp first, but when there was almost no one there at 6 pm on a Saturday night, we knew we hadn't made the best choice...

My newlywed husband and I tried to stop in for BBQ this evening at 8:45pm. The posted hours on the doors say they are open until 10pm. We checked the website and it says "until they run out." Very very disappointed.

Pricey yes. But not outrageous for a tourist town. I split the Ma's double with my 5 year old and it was great

My husband and I stopped on a whim. The food, we thought, was quite delicious! We will definitely be back when we make back to Gatlinburg.

Smokey flavored rib, mediocre tasting BBQ. BBQ rib sandwich w fries. I was impressed that their crinkle fries weren't over cooked or frozen. Staff seemed disinterested at first but finaly warmed up to a hosting attitude later throughout the meal. Feels like a local place that attracted unwanted tourist attention. Other than hospitatlity, overall food rating (you can get the same thing back home), the BBQ Joint is clean, well decorated, has comfortable seating, and is quiet!

We ordered two pulled pork take out meals with different sides. The pork was tender and juicy. Sides were fresh and servings were generous. The only drawback was we forgot sauce and weren't offered any. Otherwise an outstanding meal quickly delivered by friendly staff.

BBQ place in a tourist town. Average food for tourist prices. They are mostly set up to push volume as the crowds invade Gatlinburg.

Very clean!! Nice appearance. Unfortunately the BBQ has no flavor. Just add salt or more. The sides were great. VERY disappointed in the brisket & pork. Brisket was cut wrong.

Those before have been harsh. We went two times on our recent stay. Admittedly, the second visit was to avoid the Friday night wait at most other places on or near the "strip." Good food and reasonably priced. I had the pork special on first visit and chicken on the second. You order at the counter and pick up food around the corner, where they yell your number until you figure out where the voice is coming from. Food came up fast, hot, and tasty with nice smokey flavor. Dining area was clean.

We had a long day of sight-seeing and decided to order carry-out. My husband and I ordered pulled pork dinners. The order was ready very quickly. The pork was very good. My husband thought the baked beans were some of the best he has ever had. I enjoyed the cole slaw. Plenty of food for a reasonable price. If we had not had plans to leave town the next morning, we would have gone back to eat in. Service was very friendly. A hidden jewel off of the Main Street candy crowds. Give it a try!

Overpriced for the the quality of the food. Staff is friendly. Ribs not very tasteful. Pulled pork was dry.

Dont. Just keep walking. Do not go in. Food not fresh or good. Terrible. And in a state where they know their BBQ? Truly sad? Only good for gluttons who swallow and dont taste what they eat. Still angry that my expected culinary feast on beef brisket turned into a disastrous gastronomic rock slide in the Smokies. Never going into a restaurant again without reviewing the Yelp posts.

I'm giving this place two stars because of the free parking, which is the only reason we pulled in. Admittedly, we are BBQ snobs. But we were disappointed with the service right off the bat. We had an item left off our order and we were told well on your receipt, you didn't pay for that. Eventually she did bring us the item anyway. Secondly, what kind of BBQ doesn't offer hush puppies as a side? You can order a basket or a dinner with hush puppies. No side puppies for your sandwich! Pulled pork was just ok. Quite dry with sauce at the table. French fries are frozen crinkle cut, but fried well. Fried pickles were just ok. I won't go back or recommend it unless you can't find parking in this tourist trap town.

We had a wonderful experience. Fun decor and tasty food. The meat was juicy and flavorful--we didn't even need the sauces (though the sauces were good). Best hush puppies ever! The other sides were good too. Fries were very tasty! We would recommend Bones for anyone looking for good barbecue.

After trying Calhouns for lunch and not being successful we decided to give Bones BBQ Joint a try. We showed up for lunch and we were the only ones in the restaurant - that should have been a clue to leave but none the less we were in the mood for some BBQ. We asked questions regarding the menu and the hostess / waitress was very knowledgable of the menu and answered our questions clearly. We paid for our food and sat down, a few minutes later our food was brought out to us. The food left a lot to be desired. The corn on the cob was cold, it was as if they pulled it out of the refrigerator. The chicken was extremely dry. The only thing that was good was the french fries. So not worth it for lunch.

Wish I had read the reviews first. Pulled pork was very dry and never could seem to get enough sauce on it to make it good. Strangest brunswick stew I have every had. Just a styrofoam bowl of chopped soggy vegetables and beans and hardly any sauce. Just not good. Would not recommend if you are looking for traditional bbq. Young lady that took our order was very nice though.

disappointing, average messed up order, service is lacking. hope they pull it together very pricey for the value

Extremely overpriced. Very long wait, had to go searching for order serveral times. I wouldn't call this "real" BBQ. Pulled pork was rather bland....very small portion on a minature hamburger bun.
