This place was the perfect place to stop for breakfast as we left the hotel and headed into town. The service was great, and our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bacon was delicious! I had biscuits and gravy. The gravy was ok. Very thick but kind of bland. My daughter got the pancakes. Husband got the French toast. The French toast was really sweet but good. We stayed at Zoder's and had 10% off our meal.

Good, out of the way place to get breakfast. Was near our cabin and right on the parkway. Wasn't busy. Food was good, service was great.

Had a late breakfast at the Atrium, actually we did everything a little later in Gatlinburg because we were staying up till all hours of the night. We didn't order anything out of the ordinary and everything was just fine, from my link sausages to my buttermilk pancakes. The sweet tea was syrupy goodness and my pancakes were tender. Plenty of food, we left stuffed. Our server was very courteous and had one of the most outrageous Tennessee accents I've ever heard. I found the decor left something to be desired, more like a hotel restaurant stuck in 1985 (peach and teal accents be gone!) then a homey pancake house, but for an average breakfast-all-day experience, the Atrium was fine.

I had some very good buckwheat pancakes. My husband had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. We both liked our food. However, when I tried my husband's bacon, it was some of the best bacon I have ever eaten. I ordered myself a side of bacon because I wanted to steal the rest of my husband's order of bacon. :-) The waitress was attentive and nice. The lady behind the counter was also friendly. I would come back to the Atrium again.

Don't wait in line anywhere in Gatlinburg. Come to The Atrium for a great breakfast. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. The french toast is awesome - better than homemade. The 60s music is a big bonus.

Good pancakes with ham and eggs. What does "homemade maple syrup" mean? I'm not sure. The waitress was very nice and chipper. Our food came fast. The only bad thing is the men's room. It's disgusting.

Had the waffle and bacon eggs and best bacon ever and everything else was great also. Little pricey for what we got but you can eat cheap easily.

This is the best breakfast place on the Parkway in Gatlinburg! It's on the south end as you head in from the national park, a couple of doors up from Zoder's Inn, and is right next to a trolley stop. I read the other reviews here, and a lot recommend getting the baked apple pancake. So on my first visit, that's what I ordered! Note, I said "pancake," as in the singular, and not plural. This thing was huge! I commented to the waitress, "My gosh, you brought me out a whole pan of cornbread by mistake" because that's what it looked like. It also comes with a brown sugar butter syrup. All in all, better than a Red Bull to get me wired for Dollywood! Which came in handy as that was where I was heading after eating breakfast. I ate there every morning I was in Gatlinburg, a total of 3 visits, and had a different waitress each time. Each one was very friendly, polite, and came by often to check on me and my wife during our visits. We also tried different breakfast items, on each visit, and everything tasted great, and nothing was out of order. All on top of the place being continuously busy each time we were there, but we never had to wait long for a table. Granted, we were in Gatlinburg for a normal weekend, so wait times may be slightly more during the peak season starting in October.

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Gatlinburg & we make sure we go at least once every time we are in the area. I tell anyone that says they are going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge to make SURE to include this place in their itinerary!! I can't even put into words how delicious the baked apple pancake is!!! I will warn that the serving is enough for two but it also makes a wonderful dessert reheated with vanilla ice cream & warm apple syrup if you don't have someone to share with you. ;-) All the food is great but we find ourselves craving the baked apple pancake so we haven't ordered too much else since discovering this. Healthy friends have eaten the healthier choices and been quite pleased as well...so there is something for everyone!!

The baked apple pancake was a novel treat. It is enough for 2 or 3 to share! Bacon was normal... Not sure why other thought it was so amazing. Other food was decent. Good, not amazing. Definitely better than the local pancake houses. Don't sit in the south room... The sun will drive you crazy!

We stopped by to try out the famous stuffed apple pancake. We also ordered country-fried steak with eggs and biscuits and gravy. The apple pancake was hands down amazing! It is thick with a great crispy golden brown crust on all sides including the top. It is served with its own special warm apple syrup and butter. It can feed two hungry people, or I would recommend ordering and splitting it if you are in a large group and also want to each order something else. It is like a cross between a apple strudel and a pineapple-upside-down cake. You must try it! the bisciuts and gravy were good: white gravy with meat and fluffy biscuits. The eggs were standard and the fried steak was okay, not very grisly, but I have had better crust. The atmosphere was comfortable, nothing over the top, and it was clean. The facilites in general are a little run down, but it gives it a very "AT HOME" feel. We would defiantly stop here again. Summary: Food: 4 of 5 Price 4 of 5 Service 4 of 5 Ambiance 3 of 5 Facilities 3 of 5

Exactly what you would expect. Flawless execution, great price, friendly service. This is a place to go back to again and again. We tried the hillbilly scrambler and the southern scrambler and they were both very good but the hillbilly mix of cheese and spinach was much preferred.

Cant come to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg without visiting The Atrium. The service is stellar and the food is beyond amazing! I highly recommend the Fried Chicken Sandwhich with Curly Fries. You cant beat it! The sweet tea is some of the best in Tenn. It does look like it hasnt been updated since the 80's but thats part of the charm. The only complaint I have is that they let Nancy leave. Nancy knew my order by heart even though she only saw me twice a year for the last 10 years. Will always come to The Atrium for Breakfast/Lunch as long as they are here and I am able.

It is Gatlinburg, TN. so don't expect much in the way of food. Place is a little run down....well quite a bit run down. There wasn't much naugahyde between myself and the cushion if you know what I mean. Service is good though, they all smile. Most have all of their teeth which is how they select people for customer facing food service jobs in the hills. Had a strange moment when the waitress, after filling my coffee cup put the HOT pot of coffee behind my head on the ledge between the two booths. That was a bit scary but I survived unscathed. Had the hillbilly eggs benedict. Biscuit, gravy, sausage, POACHED egg. Egg was over done, but I have to give this place its due in these parts for actually trying to serve poached eggs. Order it anywhere else and they look at you like you are speaking a foreign language. Would probably recommend the cuban place in pigeon forge first as their breakfast seemed much tastier. Coconut and cheese or guava and cheese empanadas next time for me

This is my go to place for breakfast,I have been going here for years and have yet to be disappointed. The food is always top notch and the service is always friendly and prompt. Always look forward to having breakfast here.

Love this place. Service was friendly, efficient, and professional. The pancakes are amazing and so are the omelets. Yes, the decor is straight out the 80's, but come on people, that's part of the charm.

Family of 5 had breakfast for $60+. Floors are sticky and tables are greasy. Waterfall is nice to watch. Food is... eh, OK. Much less crowded than other places on this Gatlinburg strip and I now know why. I'd suggest waiting in line at the other places if you have time.

We stayed at the Zoder Inn and they recommended this place over the touristy Pancake House up the road -- the one with the long lines and I'm so glad they did. The Apple Baked Pancakes are phenomenal and it's huge! Enough to feed 2-3 people. It's absolutely scrumptious. Fresh, buttery, nice chucks of baked apple and comes out piping hot. Everyone loved it. Also had the Hillbilly Benedict: poached eggs, fried green tomato, sausage patty on biscuit with hollandaise sauce which was also very good, too.
