Food was better than when I ate there 10 years ago. It was aweful then and now it is barely tolerable and certainly not worth my time or money. Very salty. Service was not good at all. Salads were wrong and when our entrees arrived, it was missing rice that the menu said it came with. When I asked the waitress she said she didn't think it came with rice but she would check the menu. She came and reported that it in fact did not come with rice. Upon leaving, I checked the menu. Oh, guess what? The menu said the salmon came with rice!! When I tried to tell the THREE employees at the hostess stand what had happened, not one of them even looked up at me!!! Much less apologize. I will not be back for at least another 10 years.

I have been going to Red Lobster for years and years, I have never been so unhappy with the food. I got the 4 course feast for 16 or something like that. It was horrible. I got the shrimp and really think it would of been better at Captain D's. Will never go back. We paid over 50 for 4 people and can say we all would of been better off at home with a dry biscuit and water.

Not sure why everyone else had it so rough here. My wife and I only waited about 20 min and had excellent service and food!

Good food, but with any restaurant like this service seems to be a rarity! Not sure if it is a generational thing but pick up your feet man. Expect a long wait and a staff that moves like the slow motion effects in the matrix without the cool factor. Also bring a sweatshirt even in 100 degree weather. With that said make sure you also eat fast before it gets cold.

The one star is generous after the pestilence I was served at the Cool Springs Red Lobster. Now I know the taste and texture of $20 bird-flu chicken.

Service was off but the guy was eager to please. Drinks were good but the same ole thing at Red Lobster. Daughter had a hankering for seafood so she loves the biscuits and has to have it here. The flavor is good and the grandkids had a blast. Loved the atmosphere. Will take the daughter back but will not go just for me.

I went here tonight and they were understandably busy. Since we had plans for a movie after dinner I asked the hostess where we were in line after waiting 30 minutes. She was very rude for absolutely no reason.. She was condescending and acted as if I was bothering her when in fact I just wanted an update. Some people don't need to be in the service industry especially if they don't understand it's the customers that are giving them a job. I will never go back there and I will make sure and reiterate my experience to anyone who is thinking of going there.

Usually I dont expect much from Red Lobster. Its a large chain and often you receive that kind of service. I am glad to say that we received great service and the food was served at the right temperature with good flavor. We will be back to see if they remain consistent.

Okay, when it comes to SEAFOOD...if I am not at the beach...I feel weird eating it....does that seem weird???? But, Tony got paid for a big job and wanted to treat Noel and I out to dinner ....so RED LOBSTER bound we were !!!! I called ahead to make a reservation but they don't do that but they will put on a list for a seating if you have a time to be there...so they don't technically call it a reservation but it is the same thing...lol!!! We arrived about 6pm on Saturday night after Noel got off work and changed out of her uniform. We were seated immediately by the hostess and seated immediately as well..calling ahead was a smart thing to do !!!! ((( remember that if you are going there on a weekend evening ..very important helps cut out the wait time ))) Our server was Alex and he was awesome.. We ordered our drinks, unsweetened iced tea with lemon and lime for myself, Root Beer for Noel and Budweiser in a bottle for Tony....(((( right Hannah, what else??? Right !!! ))) When Alex brought our drinks, he also gave us our basket of Cheddar Biscuits. Tony and Noel love them....me not so much but I try to stay away from unneeded calories.. We talked for about 15 minutes and he brought our salads. Noel and Tony had a house salad with Ranch and I went with the House salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing ( very good by the way, I enjoyed the dressing )) Tony ordered the Bar Harbour Lobster Bake which has huge shrimp, mussels, lobster and scallops with linguine in a white wine and garlic sauce served with the salad and cheddar biscuits and butter on the side. Noel went with Ultimate Feast of Shrimp Scampi, Lobster Tail, Crab Legs, rice and french fries with house salad.. and me ...well I went with Spicy Shrimp Tacos with rice and house salad. The food was awesome. I tasted Tony's mussels and lobster pieces, and it was good ...I also enjoyed helping Noel crack open her Crab Legs..I enjoy that part...not so much eating it...but we had a great dinner.. Tony did a really great job picking the restaurant. The check was right at $82 with taxes and we left Alex a $18 tip...just made it an even $100 night ...and it was really great!!! We had a blast and Tony enjoyed treating us out to dinner..Will definitely go here again...the food great, the service was great and the restaurant in all was Great....highly recommend to all !!!

This has the potential to be a good chain. The food isn't too bad. The service is not so good. We went tonight and when we were seated we noticed that the booth seats on our table were still kind of dirty. I asked the hostess for a clean cloth and she proceeded to grab the napkin off of the chair of a previously sat table that they were cleaning. She was going to wipe the table with a used napkin! Gross!! There were crumbs and unclean tables all over the place. Not clean and gross! If we are going to pay for over priced seafood they can at least give me a clean napkin.

I'm writing the review to counter the previous reviews. We went here because RL is my son's favorite place. It's the only one around so I disregarded the reviews and went anyway. I had the shrimp lunch tacos and they were fantastic. I wish they came with FOUR. My son had the kids crab legs which are a good size for a kids plate. Staff was competent and thorough. Not the most friendly, but good. Which was fine for me. Didn't notice any roaches or general uncleanliness. Bathrooms were clean. Table was cleaned promptly.

Would really like to give more stars since I've been so pleased with my meals in Tulsa and Birmingham lately... But other than the really nice and bubbly waitress.... Not sure I can find other positive points to encourage anyone to eat here. Maybe I found one-the cheese biscuits are some of the best I've ever eaten. My salmon was slightly over cooked & drenched in the garlic butter sauce. Both our baked potatoes were not fully cooked along with our broccoli being steamed to just almost mushy. We ate most of our meal because we need to get in the road and I kept hoping for a better bite. My husbands cod was incinerated. And its not even that crowded for lunch time to give them an excuse. Won't stop again but hope more waitresses are like Shonnie.

I was here for valentines dinner, on the sidewalk out side a gentleman was coming out saying good luck getting in. We proceeded to go in and the hostess said it would be 1 hour wait. We took our seat and waited. During the course of waiting customers coming in to the hostess stand and the hostess would tell the customer it would be 1 hour and 45 minutes wait. Customers were leaving left and right. In the waiting Area there were only about 8 people to be seated including us. We only waited 15 minutes to be seated. As we were sitting there one of the customers called to complain. While the manager was on the phone one of the 6 hostess said she was going to listen in on her call, which she did and proceeded tell the others what was said and laugh about this. This was so unprofessional and rude. None of the people waited more than 30 minutes, the hostess was turning people away and costing the business money and reputation.

The one in Antioch is better. Our service was horrible and the food was meh. I'm a fan of RL and I was disappointed.

Red Lobster used to be quite good, and this location, at one time, was no exception. But recently as their prices have gone up considerably, their quality and customer service have not followed suit. During a recent visit it took 15 minutes before our drink order was taken, not by a waiter/waitress (of which there were several in the area, but by the hostess who I had to go and tell we were being ignored. It then took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. That being said, the manager tried to compensate us by offering a free appetizer, which we accepted, but in all honesty for what it all cost, the food was horrible. My grandmother had ordered their shrimp alfredo which, I tried the leftovers of and was tasteless. My fiancée ordered the crab and lobster alfredo which was drenched in oil and grease. As for my broiled seafood platter, it completely lacked flavor. A fast food seafood chain based hear in Nashville often advertises how you can get the same food as Red Lobster, but for less, and they are right. Said chains food tastes marginally better, but given it's quality is actually sold at a fair price. That being said, if I want seafood in the future, I can get better at a good Hibachi restaurant or make it myself at home. Red Lobster, give up or be honest with yourselves, you are not good seafood and I find your Lobster Fest commercials a laugh as no meal is worth $30, and I seriously doubt the people featured in that commercial are actual employees. I give two stars because the manager tried to rectify the bad service, but only after we complained. As for the quality of the food, I blame their chefs at corporate. Oh, it would have been three, but I find it rude that while we were ignored for 15 minutes, they seemed very on top of things with all the other guests, including a group of well over a dozen people who came in shortly before we finished eating.

I've been coming to this Red Lobster for at least 10 years and I can say I've never had the experiences described by previous reviewers. Granted, its a chain and as such it can vary wildly from time to time. In my most recent visit, the waitress was spectacular. I could barely finish one Coke without another appearing and I think the rolls would have flown endlessly from a mythical biscuit fountain. In my experience this Red Lobster is worthy of a visit if you are in a fish mood that Captain D's just won't satisfy.

It's a dirty and nasty place! If you like to eat cockroaches, then come here. Food both burnt and cold. Plus they are racist. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

I agree with David F., I don't know what was up with all the other yelpers about Red Lobster. Hubby and I just returned from a "date night" here - and everything was just great. We arrived at 7 PM on a Thursday night to no wait, but a bustling restaurant. Our server was friendly and personable, and our orders were both correct and complete. He had the endless shrimp and tried one "refill" as they call it - all three orders were hot and tasty. I had the stuffed baked grouper which was also very nice. Did you know that Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits are 150 calories? My spark people did, so I only enjoyed one... but I absolutely, positively enjoyed every single one of those 150 calories. My caesar salad was good as always, as was hubby's regular salad. My broccoli was good, his potato was good - maybe a tad small, but that was a good thing in our book. There was one time when my water run out, but literally it was only for like 3 minutes. She offered additional refills on shrimp which hubby declined, offered more biscuits, etc. - honestly we had no problems at all. If you are a Sunday paper reader, RL often has a coupon in there. We used one $4.00 coupon, so our total bill was $30.00 pre-tip (I drink water these days, he had tea). Is Red Lobster the caliber of Bonefish Grill? No, but it's not the price of it, either. At Bonefish, which we frequent, our entrees would easily be $19-25, not $14.95, and there's no cheddar biscuits there. In short, this is a dependable, affordable, family friendly option that I think the yelpers who hated it so much need to take a step back and enjoy a beverage from the bar. Go find the seafood lover in you...

I almost didn't come here because of the awful reviews, but I had a great experience. Delicious food and fast, friendly service. Restaurant was clean. Everything was wonderful :) Ben was our server and he was very friendly and did a great job. I'm glad I decided to try it for myself because the reviews almost scared me away!

They're coming back. Cool Springs has a lot of garbage when it comes to dining. I've been doing the whole Catholic thing and have been refraining from meat on Fridays.... dropped in for Lobster week. Positive: +Got lucky with an extremely attentive server. Wish I remembered her name. +Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I dont care how downhill a Red Lobster goes... I crave these. Negative: -Thank God for all you can eat biscuits... Not impressed with the cost of Lobster here... you'd think they'd mark it down during Lobsterfest or something. Manager can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but $14 for Shrimp linguine... $18 for shrimp and lobster linguine... (didn't think I'd be full from the picture of the $30 lobster lover's dream). Did I just pay $4 extra for a half a claw's worth of lobster? Okay, so maybe I'm whining a bit about the price. I can be a bit cheap. I'm just glad the place didn't smell like a plugged drain again. 2 stars vice 1.
