Don't. Just don't. It's not worth it. We ordered online, went to pick it up, and were immediately faced with the rudest person in Franklin. She sighed audibly when my husband asked for chopsticks. The food wasn't good either (we had pad thai and some sort of spicy beef dish). I know it's a chain, but still. We both regretted getting food from there. So just don't, even if you have a coupon.

Lunchtime during a hot day and heard about some new lettuce wraps from my wife. She and her coworkers love these and so I gave them a go. I got the "Korean Steak" wraps and a spring roll. The roll was great but the wraps were lacking and misleading. The "steak" was actually ground beef and there was NO SPICE. Ive never had bland Korean anything. My wife however got the chicken wraps and spring roll and hers was actually not bad. Still bland in my opinion but better. I dont know that I would go back given that I found out that it is a chain and they use a lot of frozen ingredients and nothing is local AND they lack in the flavoring department.

Horrible service. Takes FOREVER to get food. I called in my order 20 mins before I was going to be there and I still had to wait another 20.....and my order was wrong. I'm not asking for a whole lot here...I've been to many pei weis and I have never had experiences like the ones I've had at this location. It will amaze me if this place is still around for another year.

I am not sure why we even still bother with this location. Maybe because pei Wei is great and we keep hoping this staff and the quality of this location will step up to the plate. The last 3 times have been the same. 1 out of 4 things ordered is correct. They apparently have forgotten what stock Velvet is. I opened a pei Wei in florida years ago and I know this is trained. The managers at this place try so hard; bless their hearts -- it's ironically a Chinese fire drill each time. As I'm writing this the line is out the door it's Saturday at 7 pm and there is one cashier on. Poor planning and always poorly staffed here. It's not my place to worry but it irritates me when the managers keep telling us they are working on their training and quality of food, when the customer service is also key ... Not to mention the people next to us are bitching because they have been waiting for a half hour for a sushi roll. And so be it, Tonight same thing as before, the meal was not made correct. The side plates were filthy. I included a pic of one and did tel a food prep. When our corrected meal came out it had a long hair in it so a manager offered to compensate for our unpleasant experience and we left. 3rd times a charm. Going to Brentwood location from here on out.

Blah. Food had a weird / funky taste. They were out of spring rolls. And, their fancy soft drink machine was out of most flavors.

THIS LATEST TRIP: 3 of 5 stars TRIP PRIOR: 5 of 5 stars = 4 stars Latest Pad Thai was saturated with whatever dressing/sauce they use. Hardly any bean sprouts... And I asked to add pea pods which the consistency was super gritty. Service was fast and friendly, and we had to ASK FOR fortune cookies?!?! When we got them, there were only two in the bag... Bummed seems like it went downhill over past couple months, sadly.

I've used the Take Out service and In-Store dining numerous times. Mostly, I use the Small Plate feature and add a small Edamame for a price under $10. My favorite dish is the Kung Pao Chicken tossed with Brown Rice. The bite sized chicken pieces are from the breast and always cooked to a tender inside and crunchy exterior. The soy based sauce very salty, but is balanced by the sweetness of Snow Peas and Carrots. The peanuts in the mix offer up a great crunch and nutty flavor. Sometimes, for a special treat, I'll order up the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. They are the same wraps served up at PF Chang's. Take this place for what it's worth, it's straight forward American Style Asian inspired food and it's quick (mostly).

I was visiting my parents and a friend happened to be in town at the same time... long story short, my friend suggested we go here. Food: 2.5 stars. For the price, it wasn't terrible, and it didn't give me food poisoning, but I wouldn't recommend it either. Service: Yikes. 2 stars for sure. Employees seemed friendly enough, but they moved s o s l o w l y. We're talking slower than molasses.

I love this place. Always excellent food and service. I even called and ordered food from a different Pei Wei without realizing it. I arrived a few minutes before close, and they were so nice and made my food for me very quickly. They even threw in the fresh cookies they had left from the day. Great every time I go.

Service is mediocre as well as the food. The restaurant is never clean when we've come before. It's never been a wow experience. I guess that's what you get with a chain. This location was pretty slow but what bothered me the most is at least 5 tables un bussed and sat next to dirty tables the entire time.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
