I was pleasantly approached by a great server... Our appetizer was hot when it arrived. Cheesy bread with pepperoni. It had a great proportion of cheese with a pepperoni in every bite. Crusty on outside, inside was perfect. Cut in 2 bite preportions. We ordered the 20 wing sampler. Mixing it up quite a bit...surprised the server did not write it down! Everything came out just as ordered, right down to only flats on one half of the order and one quarter of the order breaded.the hot wings could have been hotter. But the sweet chili and teriyaki were devine. The buffalo teriyaki was so so.. all in all a great experience..!

Try the Italian sub, it was well worth the wait!!! Food is cooked fresh, so it made for a longer lunch than planned. Good thing the waitress took care of our party and pack out lunch in take out containers. Definitely work going!

Last night my husband and I stopped at Mineo's because he "felt like pizza." We've been there, I'd say a dozen times in the last few years but it had probably been almost a year since our last visit. We always liked it well enough...I'm not one of those "I'm from New York so I KNOW...." types. I wouldn't know a NY pizza if I sat on it. I know that I really like some pizza, tolerate a lot of others and strongly dislike a few others. Anyway, Mineo's was always a safe bet for pie and cold beer. Until last night. The pizza was pretty dreadful. The crust was rock hard and the sauce was sweet (and not in a good way). I was really glad we only ordered a 12-inch because I would have begrudged the waste of money if we'd had to leave half of a larger pizza. Now that the pizza kind of sucks, the other things bother me more too. I was always willing to look over the chaotic atmosphere and the shoddy service...but last night it was annoying as hell. One thing Mineo's has NEVER figured out is how to bring out an appetizer well ahead of the main course. On previous visits we went so far as to just order an appetizer, finish it and then order the pizza because I can't tell you how many times we'd get both of them together...after explicitly telling the server how we wanted it. Well last night we got the chips & queso about 30 seconds before the pizza...no kidding. Hubby ordered a Blue Moon and I got a Stella. They told me that was their last Stella. OK, fine. When hubby ordered his second Blue Moon I said I'd have one too. Well, they blew the keg on half of one of the beers...this is at 7:00 on Saturday night. Good grief. So...the whole time, I was thinking "Crap, I'm gonna have to go demote this place on Yelp". Well, I'll be dipped...I'd never reviewed them in the first place! So...they get a solid 2 stars and I don't even feel bad about it. Fix your pizza, Mineo's...it was the only thing you had going for you. I'm not going to tolerate your crappy TVs, inept wait staff and noisy atmosphere for that stuff you gave us last night.

We were with an out of town basketball team and all 25+ of our group were greeted and taken care of from this fabulous staff. At the time, I had certain food restrictions I had to adhere to and the staff was helpful and patient to meet my needs. Will definitely be back if ever in the area. Thanks!!!

Zero. Zero stars. I ordered my food as I sat down at the bar. 30 minutes later I asked for my check and started to pack up. My waitress hadn't checked on me and my order of 5 wings and 1 slice of pizza had not arrived. When I told the waitress that I was pissed, she acted surprised. Don't go here. Period.

Love this place! It's a small locally owned restaurant. Great place to watch the game or grab a pizza with the kids. Salads and pasta dishes too. I keep going back for the wings. Best wings in Franklin, TN. Handmade dipping sauces and dressing. We have always ordered wings "naked extra crispy", but today tried boneless wings. These are awesome too. Every order is freshly hand battered made to order.

Good food, good service. We were in and out pretty quick, pizza was yummy and hot, and loved the garlic knots. Plenty of TVs for sports viewing, but place wasn't too loud.

Great Pizza, Wings, & Service. Krypton breaded wings are my favorite. Their wing sauce is a Jalapeno/vinegar base with chunks of jalapeno peppers in it. My favorite wing place. Lunch prices are better than BWW's. These are the best tasting and biggest wings I've ever had although not the hottest (a good thing). The sauces is more about the taste than the heat. Portions are generous. Service is adequate and friendly. Sandwiches aren't too bad either.

We lived on Long Island for about a year and miss the NY style pies. We're always looking for places that serve NY pizza, but most disappoint. This is the closest to NY pizza we've found. The crust is not the same, but that's to be expected since they say you can't duplicate the crust outside of NY because it's the water that makes it so good. We also tried the Queso Dip appetizer which had just the right amount of heat. We will definitely be back to Mineo's to have the pizza again and try the wings.

Not bad..... +Solid service. Friendly and attentive +Lunch specials +/-Pizza. Nothing special, but not bad -Wings. Come on... I'm not looking to get into a dick measuring contest here, but is this Krypton nonsense the hottest you've got?

The pizza is probably the best in Cool Springs. I would describe the motif as "frat house". Don't eat in unless you like small dark rooms that smell like old beer.

Ok pizza, better wings, expensive food!

Wings are excellent! The pizza is also worth EVERY penny. Ingredients are all fresh and it shows in presentation and taste. If you go when a game is on get there early. This place fills up quickly and every seat offers views of games on multiple tvs. The staff is polite and attentive and aims to make your dining experience enjoyable. This is one place my family will return to!!!!

The home style chip apps are the awesome! Get the sauce on the side so you don't get soggy chips though. Wings were pretty tight to. Service was good plus cute. Haha. Manager is one hell of a guy. I enjoy this place for just chilling.

After reading many positive reviews for Mineo's I decided to try it. Although Mineo's is not the worst pizza in town, it is definitely not the best either. Their suace is very sweet, far too sweet for pizza. If you are looking for good pizza in the Franklin/Cool Springs/Brentwood area I would go to Joey's House of Pizza, Nick's Italian Deli, or Cool Springs Brewery (formally Guido's). These are the best pies in that area. If you are looking for the best pizza in town... Manny's House of Pizza is the place. I have never had a pizza as consistent as Manny's. It is ALWAYS great. Angelo's Picnic pizza is also very good but not very consistent. Each visit reveals an almost different pizza each time... although always good... but no Manny's. If you are wanting the best New York Style pizza in town go to Manny's House of Pizza... Joey's is very similar but Manny just has the touch. If you are looking for a pizza that almost borders on dessert pizza then go to Mineo's.

We ordered a plain cheese pizza from here the other night and I thought it was great. The pizza crust reminded me of Mellow Mushroom, a good size crust, but I wouldn't call it true New York Style. The sauce was a sweet tomato but not too overpowering. The cheese was good too and it was great reheated the next day. They delivered to the house in Brentwood I was staying too which was nice. I'd definitely try them again.

My BF used to live nearby and always raved about Mineo's wings. I was in the area shopping so decided to stop in for wings togo and surprise him. The restaurant is located in a strip mall but once you step inside it is very charming. The bar looks like something out of an old Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. They serve several beers on tap including locals. While waiting, I asked about the Strawberry Picnic beer (a Blackstone brew) and they offered me a very nice sized sample. It's delicious by the way if you like that kind of thing. Picked up my order and headed home. These wings are FOR REAL and I usually don't like chicken wings. Crispy skin and very tasty even without sauce. AND the sauces are great. We had medium and hot. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I was a little torn on my rating here but I went with the lower option of 3 stars due to a few concerns... First of all, the pizza is good so if you are having a craving for pizza then yes, they have a good product to offer. It's described as NY style but i felt like it was a little thicker than the typical thin crust New York style i've had other places. It seemed to take a while for it to be brought out saying as there were only 4 or 5 groups in the restaurant at the time but it wasn't an obnoxiously long wait. My complaints: The waiter. My friend and I had never been here before so we asked for a few suggestions and if he liked the pizza or wings better. His response was "the wings, but I'm not really a pizza person." Really!?! and you're working at a pizza place? Maybe not the best suggestion tip from him. We also had to keep asking for water refills which he was prompt at doing once we asked but again since the place was not at all busy I felt like he could have been paying better attention to our needs. We also asked about the "raw bar" items since it is part of the restaurants name and he gave us some story about how he used to sell two buckets worth when they first started and it gradually declined and died off completely but he had no idea why. Um maybe the oysters you were giving weren't good? Maybe they shouldn't advertise the raw bar part as much as they do since its not even on the menu anymore. I feel bad not giving the most raving review for a local establishment especially since it seems like at one time this place was probaby hoppin with business but they just didn't wow me.

Mineo's is great but I had average this visit. The pizza is still great -flavorful sauce and meat toppings are authentic Italian. My son loved his Calzone and other son had chicken which is also good. The manager wrote me and said it was a busy night (Final Four) and the sauce and meatballs didn't get their normal attention. I had written "Skip the spaghetti and meatballs - which used to be a specialty. The sauce is watery and the meatballs now have no texture and are bready. The wings were great but the last time they were drowning in sauce. Like swimming in it. The chicken tenders are good though. " I'll go back and look forward to a return to "amazing"

Always a perfect pizza here, Hot wings are my Favorite in Nashville. Been here dozens of times and Always great pizza and hot wings. Very family friendly. Stopped by for early lunch today and was thrilled to see new additional seating as well. Few video games to keep kids occupied and plenty of TV's to view games. You need to check this place out.

Came in for lunch with co-workers on a Friday afternoon. We had an awesome server who was very quick and very attentive, even with 6 of us. Several of us got the pizza slice and salad combo, some others got a wrap, some wings, etc. Everyone liked their food, everyone said it was good, which it is good. I ordered a slice of pizza and asked for buffalo chicken on top. It was good, not amazing not bad, just better than okay. I had a side salad with a side of ranch. It has these huge delicious croutons on it and it was a nice size. I would probably come back for lunch because it's across the street from my office. But, there is some seriously stiff competition for amazing pizza around Nashville, and this was just pretty good.

Wings were decent. They don't let you choose all flats or all drums like the other review says. They also don't let you mix sauces. If you get 20 wings, you have to pay more to get two different sauces (10 one flavor/10 another flavor. I've had better food and better experience at other places. Wouldn't recommend.

I frequented this place after it first opened when I lived nearby. I remember when they first didn't serve alcohol, then beer only....now have a full bar; but, I digress. I was in the area and decided to drop in with a friend, for lunch. I had the steak hoagie, which was underwhelming at best. I love bread/buns/hoagie rolls, but I could barely taste the under- seasoned, overlooked meat. The fries were good, but we're not great. My girlfriend had a grilled chicken salad which she loved. She said it was fresh and the chicken was tasty. If I was basing my review on MY lunch, I would've given a 3 star, but combining her 5 star salad....you got it....a 4 star. Next time I come in, I need to remember what made this place so great, pizza, wings and beer.

I don't think I've ever had Mineo's pizza but I have had their raspberry wings which are very unique and flavorful, and I also really like their meatball sub. It's huge! I've also had their oysters. They were good. When my mom comes in from out of state we usually go to Mineo's. They also have a ton of TV's if you're wanting to catch a sports game.

Ok not a fan of there pizza, it could be a lot better to be NY Pizza, but there food was great, really great, service was slow, which indicates the food was prepared fresh. OMG get the Italian doughnuts AMAZING.

Not very impressed. It's been around forever, and you can tell not much has changed through the years. Just feels tired and mediocre food at best.

I found this place one day when I was at the galleria and craves some wings but I didn't want bww. I'm very picky with my wings and not a lot of places get my order wrong this place however was perfect. I now live in Murfreesboro now and anytime I'm craving wings this is where I come. I haven't tried there pizza but I did see one come out and it looked delicious. I will be having pizza and wings the next time. The owner Jen Mineo was my server and she made sure my order was right especially since I told her that no place ever gets my order right. I will definitely be back!!!!

Just not that great. Lots of cheese if you like that but crust is spongy and sad. Still looking for good pizza in the area. Boneless wings were pretty good and sauces were nice.

Our team ordered this for lunch. got it delivered. wasn't the best and wasn't the worst. I would recommend other options if you get the chance.

I love the wings, the pizza, and that its locally owned. Nice environment that is family friendly. Great place to take the family after a soccer game!

Great pizza, but their lasagna is outstanding! And to me, clearly the best wings in Cool Springs. Their salads are nothing to write home about. The service is never all that impressive, but the atmosphere is good if you like the small sports grill atmosphere like I do. I keep going back for more. Four stars.

First time to visit this place, but won't be the last... Can't say enough about the pizza! My new favorite in town - and I've tried them all! Service was prompt, courteous, and sincere. Crowd was family oriented (early evening) and didn't have the "bar" scene atmosphere at all. Large (14inch) was about in line with other restaurant / sit down.

Great service, tasty food, clean bathrooms, cold cold beer! Minus one for running out of oysters on a Saturday but they must excellent since they ran out! Went with 20+ 10 year old soccer team season end party! Had the best time. In all the craziness we ate, drank and were very merry! Have TVs w/all the games playing but not blaring the volume, nice!

  • Sam L.

Great wings and can be severed with several dipping sauces and breaded as well. Pizza is a little oily and they have cut back on the amount of salad if you order one. Service can be very slow so be warned; wings take over 20 minutes.

Good place to enjoy football and some good food! The pizza is really good, and also the wings are a must! I'm not from the area, and was recommended to this place!

I used to work really close to Mineo's and ate there weekly. I finally made it back for lunch today and it was great as usual. The BEST pizza in the area by far! True New York Style Pizza. They also have great wings- breaded and naked.

Way over priced. My wife had a Stromboli that was 18 dollars. We spent all our money on that so I gave a two dollar tip. I guess they didn't like that because the raised it to four dollars without my permission. Yeah we will be doing something about that.

Stopped in randomly Sunday afternoon needing to satisfy a buffalo wing craving. This small bar is indeed "frat house" style but seems like a good place to watch a game and hang out with beer and wings. Ordered the side salad - obviously not their specialty but good to get some greens in before chowing on some deep fried chicken skin. Tried a slice of cheese pizza - was good, not great. Shared the wing sampler. Went for the second hottest and it didn't burn at all but was very tasty. We really enjoyed the wings (tried 4 different sauces) - this will probably be our wing go-to spot.

I eat at Mineo's at least once a week. The new boneless wings are made in house and it is obvious! Delicious!!! Not only is the food great, the staff is very friendly and always has a smile. You gotta try this place!

I needed a pizza to watch some sports early on a Saturday, Mineo's had a pepperoni pizza ready by 11.20 not bad for ordering only 15 minutes earlier. The staff was great I might, go back for happy hour just to talk to them. The pizza was Good, I don't agree with the comparison of Mellow Mushroom, the crust reminds me of the pizza from up north more Pennsylvania then New York City. The cheese was thick and plentiful, and nice small chunks of tomato in the sauce.

Best wings in Nashville...and the sweet tea isn't bad either. If you like wings, you must try these.

I'm a Jersey girl, and Italian to boot. So I was literally THRILLED when I found this place. We discovered it because the owner brought his family in to a clothing store my fiancée was managing at the time. They were really grateful for his help, and invited him to visit their restaurant. A few days later, we did, and since then Mineo's has been one of our favorite places to eat. The pizza is hands down the best slice I've had outside of the tri-state area. It's perfect! Exactly how a good NY slice should be. The sauce is FANTASTIC. And their WINGS are just ridiculous. Try the "I Dare You" sauce if you're brave. The folks at Mineo's are great, too. They know many of their customers by name and treat everyone like family. Five stars all around.

  • Melissa D.

Mineo's is a casual, inviting family hangout with some gooooooooood NY style pizza. You gotta try the pizza staple of cheese...perfect amount of seasonings and sauce. They have a great selection of appies and pasta dishes as well. Their mozzarella cheese stix are great with their homemade chunky marinara sauce. You can't leave until you try their wings...crispy and lacking the fatty mystery parts that some places serve! They have naked wings that come without the skin and again very crispy and painted with a great spicy hot sauce. I've tried their oysters, very fresh tasting for being very far from the coast. Their signature dessert item is the hot donuts, but they are however, just OK. They taste of plain fried dough with powdered sugar, and I've had better. I did leave with a complete layer of white powder all over my face and shirt! BTW...a very kid-friendly environment!

  • Gerald P.

A regular happy hour stop. 2 for 1 drinks until 7pm Mon thru Thurs and until 6pm on Fridays. Pizza is pretty good and so are the wings. The service, however, kinda sucks. The servers are very friendly... to each other and they enjoy talking amongst themselves at the bar. It is difficult at best to find a server and it seems that 15 minutes before the end of Happy Hour, ALL the waitstaff disappears from the floor.
