Jonathan’s Grille Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Jonathan's is next door to my hotel & therefore was my default choice for dinner. It's a "nicer" sports bar/restaurant with a large menu of burgers, wings & pizza. I was surprised at how packed it was for a Tuesday night after 7:30. The inside is very bright and extremely LOUD. The crowds certainly have a lot to do with that, as does the fact that the music is amped up to 11. I most certainly don't need to hear the dance remix of "Call Me Maybe" anytime soon as I had my fill of it here. Service was very slow to get to my table - I understand that they were packed, but my server was busy macking on the hostess for a good long while before getting back to work. Once my order was placed, my food was delivered quickly & prepared correctly. My turkey burger? Ehhhh...kind of salty but I did like that I could sub steamed broccoli for fries. For me, Jonathan's is really a 2.5 star kind of place - if you're a bro looking to watch the game and slam some brews with your chill buds, you'll probably really like it here.

Jonathan's is the best sports bar to catch a game in Cool Springs. Unfortunately everyone else thinks the same. Good luck finding a seat while the Titans or UT are playing. As a Falcons and UGA fan from Georgia, I avoid Jonathan's like the plague during the Titans and UT games. I used to watch the Falcons every week at the Bellevue location for years when I lived there. Their delicious burgers were responsible for my husband and I gaining a few pounds during the winter! Now that we live in Franklin, we have the NFL package because I don't want to fight the crowds at this location because the Titans and Falcons typically play at the same time. We typically go for the late afternoon games after the Titans' fans leave. They have a ton of TVs everywhere, so you can sit anywhere and see many TVs. They really do have a good menu and a good variety of food. My favorite is a personal size white pizza and side salad. They also have good sandwiches. And good burgers, as mentioned above. Service is typically good, but sometimes a little slow. They are always friendly though! They also have good beer and food specials.

Very solid. Our party of four had 2 burgers, a Philly cheese and a sausage-pepp-mushroom pizza. In the interest of a good review, I sampled the burger, Philly and pizza. You know, integrity and all. Everything was very good, the pizza and a few onion rings I had being the standouts. A HUGE menu. You could eat here 30-40 times and not have the same thing. Beer menu is large and pretty diverse. Happy hour meant wifey and I had 2 beers each and dinner while splitting an app I didn't have for $40. Great spot.

This is one of my favorite Jonathan's locations. I've always tended to have the best service at this specific location compared to their others. I used to live near this location, and we would frequent it fairly often. They have tasty dishes, and the atmosphere is great to catch a game and have a brew.

I'm definitely a regular at Jonathan's. This dates back to my days of living in Bellevue. This is a good bar and has and excellent set up with the tvs in the bar. I'm not thrilled about the rest of the seating, but generally do head straight to the bar area if I want to catch a game (which is the reason I go). The food is good. I usually get a pizza. They have a 1-topping large for $10 on Sundays and it's a good deal while you're watching the NFL games. The salads are also very good. They do have a solid beer list and generally run a 2-for-1 special on a beer or two. Even though I go quite often on Sundays, this may be the worst time to go. Some of the NFL fans are morons and cheer a bit too much while watching the tv. I'm all about cheering for my team, but random explosions when the Dolphins get a first down are a bit much. There is also this group of Chiefs fans that sit in the corner of the bar. There are about 8 of them and they have this woman that is so loud that I've considered leaving a few times. She gets lit and starts screeching--sounds a bit like and eagle swooping in for the kill. Just make sure to sit away from them and you're good.

Disclaimer: Jonathan's is directly behind the hotel l'm staying in (ALoft Hotel), so this review is SOLELY on the food and lightning fast delivery. Regarding delivery-- they do charge a $4 delivery fee on all orders (and dont take cash), but it's worth it to this exhausted traveler. And they'll take your order right up to your room, which is great. I ordered the Avocado Club sandwich which was quite possibly one of the best sandwiches l've EVER had-- You'd never think to combine fresh avocado with pesto mayo on a chicken sandwich, but it absolutely works. Throw it all on fresh cranberry walnut bread and they've created a near perfect sandwich. I should also mention that the meal was served with all the right condiments, and sturdy (NOT cheap) plasticware. If you're ever in the area (or staying at ALoft), l definitely suggest trying this place!

I've been to this place a few times now and every time the service has been great. They are very quick with the drinks and the food, so you don't have to wait for a super long time, even on busy nights. The menu is rather extensive so there are a lot of options to choose from. I must admit that I absolutely love their deep fried pickles! I've been looking all over for a restaurant that serves deep fried pickle spears instead of the chips, and I'm so happy that this place does. They also have a lot of specials and happy hour every night, so there are always a bunch of drink specials to choose from. Can't wait to go back!

How do you call your self a sports bar and you do not even have the biggest soccer game of the year on? This place is a joke...call it Jonathan's pretentious gathering of chumps - not a sports bar.

Looking for a place to eat on a Saturday night. Decided to give Jonathons a try. After reading a few reviews we started with the fried pickles. They were delicious. W weren't in a rush and our waitress was not pushing us. Drinks came fast and the service was amazing, especially considering how busy they were. For our main course I ordered the French dip sandwich, my husband got the prime rib/French dip type loaded sandwich, can't remember the name. We were debating between fries or chips, but our waitress kindly told us the chips were basically ruffles so we stuck with fries which were great. The sandwiches were tender, not fatty, and very flavorful.

Good food, good drinks, good deals. I travel to Nashville for business, and stay at a hotel right by Jobathan's. The food is good, and they have 2 for 1 beer specials most nights. Great place!

Lots of staff, not much service. Hope, our server sat at the bar with a customer most of the time we were there. Food was ok, but she wouldn't know it.

Went there earlier this week for a work lunch. While it is first and foremost a sports bar--which I LOVE how well they spread out the TVs to allow coverage of almost every station at any point within the building--needs to work on it's service a bit. The server seemed to be avoiding our 6-top a bit after the initial drink orders and appetizers were put into place. And while it's not necessarily the server's fault for order of food coming out to the table, it looks a bit strange that a medium rare steak took about 10-15 minutes after the rest of the food to come out when compared to the other orders would be expected to take the least amount of time to make. Ordered a medium well bison burger that came after much waiting very dry...it still had the colors expected within the patty for medium well so I can only assume that the grille either was too hot or it was left under a heating lamp long enough to dry it out. The appetizers were fine and flavorful (chips + queso, fired pickles, and 10 bam bam in bone wings). I do want to come back and check it out during a game in a true sports bar fashion, but so far on a dining aspect this place has me at neutral.

One word. Yeungling. Too bad a person has to go east of the Mississippi to get this beer. Food was ok, you really can't screw up a Reuben sandwich. (Oh wait yes you can, And I reviewed a place earlier this year that did just that.) Overall pretty decent place for a meal.

It is a sports themed bar, so be ready for that. Many many TV's. If that is what you're looking for, you've got it. Good food, I had pulled pork tacos and they were flavorful, with a decent kick of spice. Love the happy hour special. I had a good time here with friends, and would return. Weekends the place is usually jammed.

My wife and I love some of the offerings from Jonathan's. We frequent this place whenever we are in town, and love the Asian Zing boneless wings! There's plenty of space here, and lots of TVs if you're here for the sports. The service is ok, too. Might be a tad slow, but when they are busy, it's to be expected.

Good wings. Great place to watch a game. Good daily specials. The place really gets hopping during games and the wait staff dies a great job serving everyone Abe keeping everyone happy.

This is a review of Jonathan's as a restaurant, not a sports bar. My friend and I enjoy going to the location in Hermitage so needing an option while stuck in Cool Springs I opted for this place with another friend. Both myself and my friend made a comment along the lines of "this server could not be less helpful." Upon asking about one of the dishes and how to work around due to a gluten allergy I was informed "Oh, I wouldn't even know how to begin making that suitable for you." I asked only because as far as I could tell there wasn't anything on the basil pesto chicken that should have made it unacceptable versus the chicken platter that's on the gluten-free menu. I work for a restaurant where we're not allowed on the floor unless we pass training on familiarity with the different allergies we may encounter and how to work around them or what people simply can't have. I don't expect that everywhere I go, but it seems like asking the kitchen would have been a simple and easy option, especially since pretty much the entire time we were there she was chatting it up with two guys at the table next to us. I decided on the basil pesto chicken and no croutons on the salad. She brings the salad out with a large bun on it. The first time I had been here was a pretty lackluster experience as well. Maybe just a different crowd at this location shaping the service in a specific way. *shrug*

Jonathan's is always a great place to grab lunch or for happy hour. In my opinion they have the best happy hour in Cool Springs. If you are looking for lunch, they have fantastic sandwiches. Their pizza is always a must. Really anything on their menu. The chili is surprisingly good (great for a cold day, pair it with a half sandwich and you will not be disappointed). Very friendly wait staff and the bar is a great place to catch games. They always have great specials going on during football season.

I was in Franklin for work and we took a large group to Jonathan's Grille to watch the first game of the World Series. I read a few reviews beforehand, but I have to disagree with some. Our waitress was the sweetest southern woman and I thought we got great service considering our group size. I tried the black bean veggie burger which came with steamed vegetables on the side. My burger was delicious; the only thing I'd recommend is asking for some kind of sauce on the side. I went with ketchup and it wasn't an amazing combination with the avocado. Like everyone else, I'll rave about the two for one drink specials. I had an enormous glass of Cabernet for the price of one. Overall - good night. :)

Good little sports bar tucked away in Franklin. Only been here a couple occasions but it's always good times when I go. Always go to the back room when we do. Quieter since it's away from the crowds. More than enough tv's back there. Plus you have dart boards to play on. Good food. Cold beer. Friendly service. What more can you ask for?

OUTSTANDING!! Our "go to" place on Friday night. Two for one beer and wine until 7pm. Food is always great. Their grilled veggies are one of their signature items. They are so flexible in letting you make substitutions for your side. Great service every time. A shout out to Suzie behind the bar. Super nice and very attentive.

Not the worst place I've been on the globe but not much better. Good thing it's nestled between hotels to keep it afloat. Party of three and not one thing was good. Fries cold, hamburger was pre-cooked..... Thank goodness it's hard to mess up a draft beer. Can't complain on service, she was great. But fire the cook....

Loud obnoxious dance music at 2:00pm, serving cold wings. Bartender pretty preoccupied, hard to get service.

  • Ken J.

Worst service I've had in a while. The hostesses were resolving some issue about who was covering what zone while we stood there unacknowledged. I'll note it was Wednesday night and not busy. Then we had to go find someone after about 20 minutes of sitting to get a server to our table. Smartly we ordered when we got one. He brought the drinks and disappeared. Someone else brought out the appetizer. Ate that and waited again. No waiter, no refills, everyone empty. Food was brought by same person who brought app. Asked them for a refill. Perfect prime sandwich was okay, daughters kids grilled cheese was good. Taco salad was okay. Food was okay but they service at my table and the other tables in our area will prevent a repeat visit.

This has been our regular stop for years. Never had bad food here. The Cajun pepperoni pizza is our favorite, but the sandwiches and salads are also good (Turkey Avocado, Larry Bird, Signature Salad stand out). Something for everyone and good for families or sporting events. Even the outdoor porch is nice with smoking separated to a side porch on the other side of the building.

From the moment I walked in, this place seemed like a typical sports bar. But then it hit me: they were playing clubby dance music, which is kind of rare for a sports bar. One of the waitresses was a RIOT: she was dancing to the beats while ringing up customer checks.. Unfortunately, ours was of the bland variety - not too attentive nor enthusiastic about her job. I ordered the pacific whitefish from the menu but was served the tilapia. I opted against having the waitress take it back, for fear that she'd spit in the food. Besides, the tilapia wasn't all THAT bad.. too bad it was priced the same as the whitefish ($13) which is kind of unreasonable for a cheap bottom-feeder that simply grows big fast by feeding it trash. (My apologies to the few fish farmers who grow their product with better-than-inferior feed). Anyway, the signature salad has my recommendation.. loved the candied pecans in it! Just go light on the strawberry dressing - it's very thick... hmm.. double shot of high fructose corn syrup anyone? While you fall asleep from carb overload during lunch, the waitress might forget about you.. so perk up every once in awhile to find her so you can ask for your check.. else she might accidentally charge you dinner pricing when she eventually comes around hours later.. :P just kiddin - I haven't been here for dinner yet! My verdict: food 4/5. Service 2/5.

Best drink specials in town period. And to top that off the food is quite good. The pizzas are amazing as well. Really this is our go to spot to watch games, grab a brew, and meet friends. It's been in cool springs for many years, and will be here for many years to come.

This is the only restaurant I was able to visit in Franklin, TN...and I visited twice. It is a very large space, with a friendly staff. However, this really reminded me of a Chili's... The bar was large, and nice, but nothing special. It's a good spot to watch a game due to the location of quite a few tvs (even in the restaurant area and small private room). The pizza was quite good as was the sandwich I had there during my second visit. However, while I thought the atmosphere was average, bathrooms nothing special and food pretty good, the really disappointing part was the service. During lunch, we had a group of 11. About 8 people received their food at the same time while the rest of us had to wait at least 10 minutes with some crab cakes being delayed about 5-10 more. This, to me, for such a large restaurant with seemingly happy customers, was unacceptable. There is no reason that a bunch of sandwiches couldn't have been timed properly. I know we were a large group, but I've been dining with large groups throughout the country and haven't often seen such a disparity in service. Some of us, also, received incorrect or delayed beverages. All in all, it's convenient for many of the hotels nearby, but it's nothing special.

Always busy but for good reason!!! Must try the prime rib sandwiche!!! Yummmmmmy!!! Always has football games on so great for out of Towners who wanna get to watch their hometown games. Good, friendly service. Like their 2 for 1 draft beers.

I like french dip sandwiches, a lot, but, I won't order them just anywhere. When I saw that Jonathan's had steak on the menu I figured I would give it a shot. It a place does not serve steak or beef I won't trust their sandwich, who knows if they know how to cook it. Come one, we've all had that tough french dip sandwich. To my delight the meat was tender and the au jus tasty. I was happy as a clam. Besides having a decent french dip they have TVs. TVs that are independent of each other. Don't you hate the sports bar that you ask for a certain game on a TV and they say they can't change it because it's connected to the TV across the room where Steelers fans are getting rowdy. Yeah, pet peeve. Jonathan's didn't have that problem. I walked in, asked to watch the Yankee game and boom, it was put on. My sister, dad and Nana were sitting in the second row behind home plate, it was a 100th birthday present from a company in NJ. Since I couldn't be there to join them I had to go watch it somewhere. Jonathan's was clean, friendly and had a ton of beer on tap. Solid, solid choice in Cool Springs.

Came here for the first time Tuesday night. Happened in on 2-4-1 glasses of wine night - score! There were also other specials but I was only focused on the wine. The main reason we came here was because I was craving a turkey reuben, and Noshville isn't open for dinner. So of course I ordered the turkey reuben! It was good - I really liked the thinly sliced turkey, and the onion rings....wow. Very good. I would have liked it on rye bread but the wheatberry bread was just fine. The service was great, but toward the end we got ignored a little. Other than that I had a good experience and will come back. Maybe to try the pizza next time.

never had bad service or a bad meal. the pizzas are to die for and the fries are always amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Jonathan's to everyone so much that my friends and family make fun of me for it. It's a sports bar but it's pretty upscale. they have wings and such BUT they also have meals you wouldn't expect to see at a bar. Think of it this way... amazing food for every type of personality in your family just with a sport bar atmosphere.

This is a pretty large place with bar seating and a dining area. I sat in the bar area for happy hour one night and in the dining area for lunch the next day (it was right next to my hotel.) The bar area seems like it would be a good place to watch a game as they have plenty of TV's and they are high enough so you can see from most seats. The only down side to the bar seating is that on one side is the entrance to the area and on the other side is the entrance to the kitchen... it seems like if you are on that side of the room there is constant traffic going by your table. They had a nice two for one drink special for happy hour. The food was your average bar food and was good. They also had a pretty good menu with everything from decent salads to burgers, sandwiches and some entrée's. If I'm in the area again and at that hotel I would stop by as I've been told they are pretty consistent

You don't come here to get gourmet food. This is a place to hang out with friends, get straight-forward American food, and drink beer. They've got a very large selection of beers: I believe they have over 20 beers on tap and over 20 bottled beers. They only had one "local" beer -- the Yazoo Pale Ale. I don't know why they don't offer more varieties of Yazoo beers. Where's the Nashville pride??!?! They offered some 2 for 1 specials which was nice. I also got the fried pickles and Mushroom Swiss Burger -- both as expected. As others have said, there are TVs everywhere. It's extremely casual -- you even seat yourself! Service was very prompt and friendly though.

This place was awesome!! Servers were friendly and accommodating. They were able to place my daughter's soccer team and all of the families in a private room and the food was delicious. I suggest the Asian Sesame wings, sweet potatoe fries, Baja fish Taco. I will be back!!!

Once again torn between the 3 and the 4. Ultimately it was the average burger that swayed the vote. I dig the setting. Lots of TVs to watch the game on without the feel of a BWW where you're jammed inside and are forced to crank your neck to see a giant screen like you're in the front row of a theater. The food was just.... average. Bottom Line: I'll probably be back if I've got friends in town and dont wanna fuck up my house while watching a game, but definitely will avoid the burger.

Great place. The prime rib sandwich is excellent. The fajitas are very good too. Dyan was the best server. They have 2 for 1 beer after 3pm even on a Saturday. Great place to watch football. I will return soon.

Jonathan's Grill is an upscale sports bar. They offer a variety of food choices both healthy and typical bar food along with a fully stocked bar and several beers on draft. The atmosphere is classy. It's dimly lit with music playing from adult alternative to pop. The crowd is diverse. They have a standard table seating area in front, and a bar area in the back with pub tables. In the far back behind the bar, they have a few more pub tables and darts. They offer a large selection of salads, several appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and many entrees. Their beer selection is decent. They have several craft beers and imports. The prices aren't bad and the quality is good. I've never had a problem with the service here. They are attentive, polite, and fast. Jonathan's has by far the BEST happy hour in Franklin. They offer daily happy hour specials from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. All beer and wine is buy one get one. They also have several appetizers that are $5.00. You just can't beat that. Jonathan's is THE place to go for happy hour. TV's are abundant in the dining area, so if you'd like to catch the score for a game, it's likely that you'll see it on one of the screens. They also offer free Wi-Fi. This is a plus if you'd like to grab a drink while you're working on something. It's also conveniently located right next to the Cool Springs Galleria. It makes a great place to stop after a long day of shopping in the mall.

I made it into Jonathan's early-ish for me, around 8, which was early enough to not be able to order the happy hour pizza that is my standby. I branched out into the sandwich offerings, selecting "The Perfect Prime". It was one of the pricer sandwiches on the list, but shaved prime rib, locally baked jalapeno cheddar bread, creamy horseradish, mushrooms and red onions made it a sum I'd be willing to pay, again and again! Even though the Predators were on TV, I got a spot at the bar right away and once again, Wayne took excellent care of our entire group.

I ordered a takeout salad and it was missing tomatoes and the mixed greens were ok. I could have made a better salad at home. The roll was good and the order was ready in the time promised. I was expecting a better salad for $12.

Another one of my "Go To" places in Cool Springs, where there are more fern bars than traffic lights. The pizza here is fantastic. In-house made crust, I do believe. Try the Cajun pepperoni sometime. They also have great salads. I sometimes just get the House Salad (only $6.50 unless you add meat). It's a big portion and thier ranch dressing is delicious. Ask for an extra roll. Tara's Wings, hot, are some of the best around. 2 for 1 beers on Sundays and Tuesdays. 2 for 1 pizzas on Tuesdays. Ladies night on Wednesday. Half price bottles of wine and $10 large one-topping pizzas on Sundays They have the NFL package and bar is a great place to watch your game. You will get top-notch service at the bar. Most of the bartenders have been there over 5 years. Professionals all. This is just an over-all cool and casual place with good food, reasonable prices and great service. (By the way, the Sunday wine thing is cool. There is a little known local loophole which allows you to leave the restaurant with a bottle of wine as long as it has been opened and the cork is stuck back in. Ah, the wonderful and always logical TN liquor laws. So if you're jonesin' for a bottle of Mark West and can't or don't want to throw a brick through the window of your local liquor store, you're in luck. No thanks necessary.)

Oh, Jonathan's. My relationship with this restaurant has definitely had its ups and downs throughout the years. As one of the only decent sports bars in the Coolsprings area, this spot has been known to draw in mostly young professionals for the happy hour (2 for 1 house wines and select beer each day) as well as sports-goers who are looking to catch whatever game is showing on their nearly 30 something TVs. The food is pretty decent, my personal favorite being the salad options (between 15-20). I eat a salad almost every time I frequent this place and am rarely let down. Other options that almost always score are the pizzas and sandwiches. I can't say the food is the best and that it's not overpriced but for a sports-bar, it'll do. Overall this is a good option for a Monday Night Football spot or quick after work happy-hour, but I probably won't be found here unless its to catch a game.

My family and I were looking for a place to watch the college football games early Saturday evening. On our way, we called to see if they were busy. The lady on the phone told us they had 10-15 open tables. We asked to put our name in and they said we could not do that. 10 minutes later when we arrive, we are told there is a twenty minute wait. When I told them I had just called, they told me they had filled up the 10-15 tables and had another 2 pages of people on the waiting list. I guess everybody in Franklin decided to show up in those 10 minutes. Needless to say, we left. I have been there before. Food is above average and they have plenty of TVs; but they are always crowded on game days. With kids, I can't wait 20 minutes for a table when the kids are not allowed in the bar area. If you are full, just tell me and I will go someplace else.

I, like other reviewers, didn't have high hopes when my wife mentioned Jonathan's. I had visions of frozen foods and rows of fryers with poor service. My tune changed as soon as I saw the polished facade of the building and the cozy outdoor seating. There is tons of seating inside and a great flow in the space. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant. I counted 7 televisions in my field of vision so you should not have a problem viewing what floats your boat. They have 26 draught beers and 40 bottled. Their two pages of salads stood out. I decided on having a burger before I walked in but actually choose the turkey burger after confirming with my server that it was hand-pattied. The burger was delicious. The meat was seasoned, caramelized, and covered in melted cheese. The chipotle mayo was a nice touch. I wish I knew if the fries were hand-cut. They had skins on them but were forgettable. Our experience was so good that I wouldn't hesitate to drive down from Nashville.

This was my first time visiting this place for lunch. I went with a few co workers. In brief they have a huge menu with wide variety of food to choose from. Many big screen TVs all around perfect for sports fans. They are very busy during lunch time, make sure you have plenty of time. We waited forever (25mins) for our lunch, waitress never came back to refill our drinks, other than that the food is good.

I have been here numerous times. They have tons of TVs and a great bear selection. The wings are among the best around. My favorite sandwich is the Turkey in the Straw. Enjoy.

At the risk of losing my foodie cred, this place needs a little love. So, Jonathan's Grille is a sports bar. I went here with dudes. The many TV's showcased our options to attention-disorder swap discussions from the wide plethora of subjects as long as they involved balls, hoops, drafts, or finals. But it was a work outing and I was a good soldier and ordered a salad. In fact, I was torn between salad options. For a sports bar I swear half the front menu was salads - chopped salads, tossed salads, minimal dressing or swimming specialty salads. Surprising. Jonathan's also has sports bar service. Not bad, just young crew on the noon shift mildly overworked getting back to college later, probably. Pleasant, effecient, really a fine exchange of needs and needs - meeting. Then comes the salad. I can't speak for the greasy freezer - bag looking mozzarella bites chosen down the table from me, or for the good-looking french dips and decent - looking fries, but I chose the super foods kale salad. This salad is so stupid good I was sad how big the portion was that I couldn't adequately shovel all the tiny bits into my mouth before it would have been impolite to make the others wait. The dressing was beyond tactful - not a syrupy mess or a bland concoction. The candied pecans are not to be mistaken for your failed attempts of burned sugar caked nuts on the stovetop, they are coated in cinnamon - again, tactfully and deliciously. The cranberries are delightfully additive - neither tart nor sugary. I'm not kidding, I went immediately online to try to recreate this salad. I am proud of my cooking and know my veggies, but my attempt was poor at duplicating this yum fest. I don't even care if this all came from a bag produced way outside state borders, it tasted stupid awesome good. So: moral of the story. If you need an option to maintain food snobbery and play to a group of bar dudes, hit this place and check out the salads. Yes, salads.

This location of Jonathan's is superior in every way to the Bellevue location. The service is better, the atmosphere is more relaxed, and the food is better, even though it is the same menu. I did have a weird night here though, and I think it was just the security, but it's the reason I'm giving it only three stars. There were promotional people going around for Jack Daniels and giving out free Jack promo items. Amongst the items was a JD bandanna, and one of the party we were with decided to wear it on his head. Well, security went berserk at him and told him it was against the dress code for him to wear it. He tried to explain that he had been given it in the restaurant. The security were extremely lacking in humor and kind of psycho scary, which has put me off going back there at night.

Of the Jonathan's locations, including what is now Jonny's, I think this is the nicest, most well designed one. Having been here for lunch several times, I really came to enjoy the endless flat screen TVs good food selection and friendly staff. The daily lunch specials were a welcome additions because the rest of the menu go a little spendy for lunch. I am a big fan of their burgers and wraps. The have some light fare selections too.

Really good food! The fried pickles were excellent :) Happy hour prices on beer, etc were good. I ordered 1 beer and they literally brought me 2. An interesting spin on "half-off", but I liked it. The mixed drinks were way expensive. $10 for a red bull & vodka. Wow! I was having lunch so can't speak for the night-time vibe, but I liked it and will go back if in the area.

Anything would have to be extremely amazing to get 5 Stars from me... I'm a bit reserved to hand out the extra Kudo... That said, this really is a great place to eat. Excellent menu... I was traveling so I even had desert, the Lava Cake was great. The next time I'm in town for a long stay, I'll definitely make that a stop for dinner. Was there on a Wednesday night and they were holding a trivia contest between tables. TV's around for those that want to watch a game. Where we were seated didn't have the best views, but there was a business purpose to the time spent so I don't have the best report on the number of TV's and placement. Usually that's a main point for myself.

Jonathan's is probably the best sports bar in the Franklin--Cool Springs area because it has the biggest selection of flatscreens and other tvs to watch the game or race of your choice. There's a nice outside patio area that's a big hit in the spring/summer and fall months. The staff is very friendly and the food is above average.

    (4)

Jonathan's is a nice sports bar with plenty of HD flatscreens to watch the game on. I enjoyed watching the game, but didn't enjoy the food very much. Apparently the whole restaurant is smoking, which might be a problem if you don't like smoke.

They're close to a bunch of hotels, and appear to do a good business with locals as well. This is the 2nd trip that I have visited them on, and on both occasions I have found them: busy, easy to get a seat at the large bar, less than warm and friendly, and a bit mediocre in the food department. I'm puzzled about what the draw is for locals, except for the fact that in seems to be a bit of a pickup spot for those early to middled aged Franklin divorced folks. It's amusing to watch the "action," pretty funny.

I don't ask for much when I go to Tennessee...I just want to experience 2 for 1 drinks once again, which is a thing you can easily accomplish here with beer. And so that is what we did on the night declared for "suburban adventures." To go with all that beer, we had their spinach and artichoke dip. It wasn't terrible, but it was sort of like as time went on "I'm just eating this because I'm drinking." This definitely isn't the sort of place I'd typically find myself. I like sports, I like bars, so clearly I like sports bars, but from where we were sitting it was kind of difficult to see the TV that had hockey on so we turned to watching on the phone haha. But it did what we went there for, a drink deal and just a spot to hang out. It was kind of loud, but that's kind of to be expected in a bar on a Friday night after all.

One of my favorite places!! Good food, good atmosphere, and drink specials. We often visit Jonathans with friends for a Friday chill on their porch or to hang out and watch a Titans game on one of their many TVs. Everything we have ever gotten food wise is always good and we have tried about everything! Upscale food in a sports bar atmosphere.

We were in town for a wedding and the Texas Tech vs. Texas game was playing. After the reception the wedding party and guests went to Jonathan's Grille. It was a great venue to watch the game. There was plenty of space for all of us. Many other groups were there too watching other sporting events. There were screens all over the place so you could view multiple events at a time. It was very loud, so if you want to go for conversation you will be disappointed. The servers were great! They kept up with all the food and drink orders and our group stayed happy!

Jonathan's has good food and a decent beer selection, but it's pretty pricey for a sports bar-ish place and they tend to be playing pop music instead of the sound of the games that are on TV in the bar. The food, however, is quite delicious. At least what I've had. The menu is quite varied - pizza, sandwiches, steaks. I had boneless jerk chicken wings, they were fantastic and were actually quite friendly. They also have very good sweet potato fries that come with an interesting chili sauce. There's a lot of flavor there. Parking is pretty good...the crowd is a little older than some of the other places around there, although this could be a function of people coming from the hotel next door. I prefer Brewhouse South to Jonathan's...and they're across a small field from each other. However, if you can't get into Brewhouse, this would be your next best bet. Jonathan's does have better parking.

This bar is nice, it not empty and not too crowded at the same time. There are nice amount of TVs all around and lots of selection when it comes to the bar. It is also clean and don't smell funny. The food here is like typical bar food. Nothing too fancy but at the same time nothing too terrible.

This place sucks... and is far from upscale.... but I may be a little biased as I am not from Franklin. The management kicked me out because of my New York accent and attitude (?). God help you all the day you decide to take a vacation in a real city.

OUTSTANDING!! Our "go to" place on Friday night. Two for one beer and wine until 7pm. Food is always great. Their grilled veggies are one of their signature items. Not the worst place I've been on the globe but not much better. Good thing it's nestled between hotels to keep it afloat. Party of three and not one thing was good.

It's been in cool springs for many years, and will be here for many years to come.

never had bad service or a bad meal. the pizzas are to die for and the fries are always amazing.

No complaints about Jonathan's. Good food that's a step above bar food, pretty good beer selection and lots of TVs. It's not gonna knock your socks off, but you won't be hungry, thirsty or bored...so there ya go.

Jonathan's is the go-to place for me and my co-workers. When the weather is nice the patio at Jonathan's is perfect. Their happy hour is great as well as their half-price bottles of wine on Sundays. They have a huge menu and I haven't had a bad meal. They have a great variety of salads, brick oven pizzas and appetizers. They have TV's everywhere so you never miss the game.

Jonathan's is a nice sports bar with plenty of HD flatscreens to watch the game on. I enjoyed watching the game, but didn't enjoy the food very much. Apparently the whole restaurant is smoking, which might be a problem if you don't like smoke.
