I have heard great things about this place and I was eager to go there. My husband and I got sat right away, only issue was the table had no silver ware. No big deal, that happens often. A waitress greeted us within 3 minutes and brought us our drinks.. water that is. We ordered drinks from the bar but never got them! The fried pickles were the best I ever had, no lie about that but I was tired of waiting for our drinks! I have worked in the restaurant business before and I am fully aware that the drinks from the bar should not take more than 10 minutes; it took about 15 min. and I had to remind our server twice about them. The lemon-cellos weren't even worth the wait, should have gotten a beer. The restaurant was not that busy during lunch so no excuses. I will say that the food was spectacular! My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak and I got the blue grass. It was all delicious and if it wasn't for the food, I'm sure this place wouldn't be as great. I understand that servers have off days, but we both felt that our server did not do much. The only thing he had brought to our table was the silver ware and the check! For such a high end restaurant, there is no reason why there should be one server taking our drink orders and another for the food. Miscommunication can occur and make the guests waiting.. which is clearly what happened. All in all, the food was great but the service not so much. I hope the next time I decide to go out to eat with my husband (which isn't often) we will receive better service! One more thing, as we walked out.. there were 3 hosts by the door and none of the ladies said, "have a great day" or "thank you", I was highly surprised by this because every restaurant I have been to someone always said good bye. Even at McDonald's they tell you to have a great day, it's just common manners.

If I could I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. It can be ok, but the food is often hit-n-miss. Salads are usually great with a nice mixture and plenty of meat on top, but the steaks are very expensive and low quality. Food can also take a long time to come out. On one occasion we had to talk to the manager because I had a salad, he had the special of the day and we waited 40 minutes and no food. He did comp the meal but he had some attitude. This happened once again a few months later, but my hubby refused to wait and we walked out the door.

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, it was a little dry and tough. The BBQ sauce was sweet and could do with a little more zip! Fries were good and the had Yingling beer! That was a plus!

Honestly, the only reason this VERY franchisey place rates three stars is the TVs. Food is mediocre and pricey at that. Atmosphere is pleasant, and again, great TV viewing for sports. Good size bar area, with attentive wait staff. Mediocre beer and booze selection (not a place for scotch drinkers).

How can a place smell so good on the outside, but serve such blah food. I have heard that in the "old" days, the food was great. These days, not so much. The last time we went, my salad was full of end pieces, and yellow lettuce. The prime rib was fatty, and the waitress was busy flirting with a bunch of guys. I will take myself down the street someplace else next time. The time before that, I got take out, and 1/2 of my order was missing.

I have been two times and I am very happy we finally decided to go. Food might be a little pricey and the steaks a little dry, but the apps were delicious and the fried mushrooms to die for!

I ordered Kona Chicken with rice pilaf. I received chicken and fries. Both were good so if you are going I recommend Kona Chicken. I was given free rice which was nice since it was freshly microwaved and half still cold. Their five beer tap selection did not help. Two stars.

This place rocked!! We got seated right away. The waitstaff were so great!! Very friendly and on top of things. The decor is very warm and homey. The food was excellent. The drinks were great. I have no complaints at all. I will be back soon!

My husband and i went there and love the staff, fast and friendly. The steak... ,mine was perfect but my husband had ordered his steak the same as i but got his pretty raw .They took the plate in to the kitchen and it took a while to get it back just to see his steak was bone try and grey. I wonder if they nuked it . They did offer us a desert on the house but honestly,at that point we wanted nothing anymore .He ate his baked potato and some of my steak . i did not expect to get it free but i think the steak that was not eaten because it was not eatable should not have been charged .i would go there again and try something different ,maybe... ,sometime.... ,i think.... :)

This particular restaurant must have gotten better. It's a chain restaurant so if you've been to one, you've been to them all. STAFF: We were seated right away, no wait. Instantly greeted by someone who wasn't our server but our server was right behind him to take our drink order. Most chains nowadays you have to ask whomever for a refill. Our old drinks were cleared by another waitress as soon as we were finished. I was glad for this since we were seated at a smaller booth. FOOD: Piping hot and tasted as it should. My husband even made the comment his ribs were better than a Kansas City joint (his favorite). WHY I KNOCKED OFF A STAR: Since when does Rafferty's not include sides on their entrees? I mean our bill was still lower than expected, but I don't understand what is the point?

I love this place. The servers are always friendly and the food is great. You're glass wont get halfway empty before a server puts a new beverage I front of you. I always make it a point to go eat here when I'm home visiting my family.

I'm not sure what people have issues with here. We took wife out for an early mothersday and the food was great. Like usual the steaks almost melt in your mouth. Yes they do have bad days. I think we went on one of them. The kitchen got our steaks backward. Wifes ribeye was undercooked and my classic ribeye was over cooked. The manager was great about it. Got me a fresh steak cooked right way and at end of night before we got check came back to the table and offered desert. He brought out the strawberry shortcake, apple pie, and brownie. I must say that they have some of the best apple pie I have ever gotten from a restraunt. Kids loved the brownie and wife said the straberry shortcake was almost as good as s..... Never mind that part. It was good!

I used to drink at the bar here most nights after work last year. The food is really nothing special and a bit pricey in my opinion. None of the appetizers are that bad, and for entrees the french dip and BBQ burger are pretty decent. All the desserts are extremely sweet and you're better off buying a candy bar on the way home to satisfy your sweet tooth. The servers are super-friendly, quick, and just awesome. The atmosphere is dim and relaxed, which is nice. Great place to relax and have a drink after a long day, but look elsewhere for a meal.

Food: great! fast! (the honey dripped croissants are amazing) Atmosphere: casual with a sports bar feel! Customer service: so,so. Location: near all the chain restaurants on Wilma Rudolph. Get there early on weekends.

Rib was kind of cold but the pork and mac&cheese was hot and so good. Also tried the cherry lemonade, it was so amazing!!

  • Dennis P.

The kitchen staff kept yelling!!!! Service was good. The french frys were cold and the lids burger was the size of a quarter.. I was seated by the kitchen and every staff person came out complaining about something. I think if i would have been seated some place else it would have been a better experience...

  • Belynda H.

I had a really good experience at this restaurant every time I've went. I've had the fingerz salad and the spinach salad with grilled salmon. They both were really good!!!! The hot bacon dressing is so amazing! As well as the honey mustard. The restaurant is nice not to loud or to fancy is more of a laid back chill and relax type of spot. The food is good the service was great and I would definitely come back again and again. My mom had the kona chicken. It was so good. Grilled chicken with grilled ham and melted cheese with pineapple on top. This restaurant is definitely worth a try!!!! You won't be disappointed.

Best ribs I've ever had in my life I oils come again and again the environment feels home and I find it to be a good place to take your family out to eat the drinks were a little strong for my liking but other that that a very enjoyable experience omg and the banana cream pie is to die for

  • Lucy R.

Great food! I had the blackened Salmon, absolutely delicious! I also had two of the frozen margaritas during happy hour (only 1.95)!

The bar smelled like mildew, I couldn't even order food because of the over powering smell, I had to leave as soon as possible

Good place. Food was pretty good. But the service was top notch. I think our servers name was Joshua g. Prob the best server waiter I've ever had.

We have lived her well over a decade and Id always Refused to eat here because the name just sounded like an old outdated place retirees go to eat after church or golf. Hubby and you fine Yelpers had me changing my mind recently and we loaded up the family on a Friday evening to finally check it out. Ok, the atmosphere did feel "dated" to me, but the food....the appetizer of these huge delicious fried mushrooms and that ranch dipping sauce. Delicious! He honey butter was so good on the croissants. I stuck with a burger and kids enjoyed the kids meals, all good-sized portions. Good solid food. My hubby's steak tho? Sooo delicious! I thought he was going to stab me with a fork if I snuck any more bites. Definitely can't believe I resisted this place simply because of the name. Very good food!!!

  • Jase G.

I enjoy the atmosphere. The exposed brick gives a nice feel. They have a full bar and the food is delicious. I recommend coming during off peak hours, a very early or late lunch, for best service and food.

  • Kelsey W.

Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Try the nutty honey butter croissants. Either for an appetizer or dessert. The steak was cooked perfectly. Macaroni and cheese is to die for!

  • Bryan R.

I really like the mixed drinks they serve here. The long islands ice teas are served in this big jar. It's great to take the family and have some dinner or sit at the bar and grab a drink with a friend. They also have seating outside.

  • Jessica M.

Not sure if this is a favorite for locals... But our family wasn't impressed. The server was lovely and the honey croissants were great. But it's no big wow. Sorry, C-ville.

Someone at my table found a piece of wire in their chicken. Management said "it happens". Apparently it was from a brush that cleans the grill? Proceed with caution!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was really comfortable, and we got seated immediately. We got the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks for our appetizers, and my husband got a sirloin steak, while I got a club sandwich. Everything we got was really good and tasted fresh. Our waitress, Krystalynn, was really attentive, super nice, and did a great job explaining the menu and options. The wait for our food was minimal. Will definitely be returning!

Great food !!! Very Nice atmosphere, whether it's a family outing or friends getting together to watch the game, this is the place to be. Our server was very attentive and the bartender made great drinks! A ++

  • Amy S.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and it was piled high, plenty of food. I got a salad and our server offered a couple different dressings for me to try boasting that they were all homemade and really good (he was right, VERY good). I tried a few and I think that's one of the things I loved the most...being offered to try different things without having to ask for them. Our servers name was Jarvis, very nice young man who provided us with excellent service as well. We just moved to the Clarksville area and I promise we will be back often! Keep up the great work Rafferty's!

The buffalo chicken is the best I have ever had! The club sandwich is pretty good as well.

  • Jose S.

The restaurant is average. Food was average, but the service was great. Wife had a salad and it looked similar to a salad we can make at home. The Ol' Boy Cheese Fries were pretty good and could have had less bacon and a bit more of cheese. That's personal preference. Probably won't be returning.

Lot of TV's to watch Football! (Big Plus) BBQ Chicken was Great however the cooks are not certain on how Steamed Broccoli is cooked my Girl had the Burger she was pleased

Extremely busy place. Great service. Lots of tvs. A bit dark but the food is pretty good. Burgers served the way you want. Steaks are okay for the area.

The wife and I have been living in TN for about 16 months and we never stopped by. Well let me tell you.... Biggest mistake ever!! We came in one dinner night and man was I impressed with service there. Host greetings were awesome waiter came by asap to take drink orders and 2 minutes later had put drinks. I ordered the 9.99 hamburger fries and beer special...... You can't beat that! 20+ ounce beer. Chicken tenders were awesome kids loved them and the wife had a spud soup of some kind but she loved it as well. We come here every chance we get.

  • Kathrine A.

Horrible. As we left, my husband said: "That was the worst dining experience of my life". We were seated quickly, but the manager had an attitude with our hostess, so that was awkward. We were seated (2 adults, a child, a toddler) so close to another table my husband kept bumping elbows with he woman behind him. We waited so long for a server we thought maybe we were forgotten. When he finally arrived, he was nice enough but disappeared for 15 minutes in between appearances. He forgot to put in our appetizer, and our cheese sticks came AFTER our meal, and were a large instead of a regular, and still charged us full price even though we didn't even want them by then. My food came a good 15 minutes before any of my family's. The waitress said she could "take it back" until the rest was ready. What?! When my husband's food came, it was wrong. Instead of a steak, they brought him ribs and then scoffed and sighed when he pointed that out. The food was gross. It felt old, congealed, and bland. This was a huge waste of lunch out. After this mess, we will never waste our money there again. Update - I didn't even realize I had previously reviewed this place! That's how bad it was, I twice felt it was bad enough to come on here and warn others.

Really love this place, has become our new favorite place to go. The people there are so nice and friendly, great service, awesome food. Daughter had the bourbon glazed salmon, yum-out of this world, I have ribs and chicken so tender, chicken was amazing. Try their fried mushrooms, batter dipped with horsraddish dipping sauce, will not be disappointed. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy a good meal.

Ask for Erin! Service at Amy restaurant is VERY important! As for the food...yummy! I got the buffalo chicken, my hubby got the ribs, and my daughter got the kids' hamburger meal. She said the fries were greasy, though. Ask for Erin and tell her YMCA Amy sent you!!

Bad service...there is nothing else to say. We wanted to order food, but couldn't get that far. Off to Cheddars I guess.

Over the past few weeks while in town on business our gang has ended up here for drinks and or dinner, the service has always been great and the food even better! The Jackson Hole is to die for, loved it!!

  • FoodieFrien D.

This place isn't horrible. We didn't wait to be seated and the staff was nice.... But.... Here is the but. It was nothing special. The chicken fingers that they rave about have like no flavor. I had a house salad and it was bland and not very crisp. The sweet potatoes were very good ( but it's not hard to mess one of those up). The ribs were dry as well. My husbands sandwich was ok. He mentioned that the meat tasted very cheap and flavorless. Needless to say the only thing we finished of our meal was the sweet potato. So all in all, it's not the worst place we have been but your money could be much better spent somewhere else.

Hubby and I ate here today for the first time and we were both impressed. I had the soup and salad; hubby had the club sandwich. The club was HUGE and jam-packed; it was amazing :) The salad was delicious (although next time, I'll remember to have them leave out the chopped eggs; not a fan of eggs in salad) and the dressing was great. The sweet tea is perfect. The best thing was the potato soup that I had. I have NEVER had such rich, flavored potato soup in my entire life. It is the best! It comes with chopped bacon and cheese. Very flavorful and the perfect portion. Our server was great; on his game and gave good recommendations. He was very quick to serve us and checked on us frequently. The restaurant is clean and very pleasing to the eye. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because my food was a bit pepper heavy; it was very peppery which took away the natural taste. It was still good though so I'm not going to complain too much. I love the atmosphere; it reminds me of a log cabin in the woods kind of place...kind of like a Jason Voorhie's campground meets "The Great Outdoors" (if you're a John Candy/Dan Akroyd fan)... I had to laugh at some of the other reviews talking about how pricey it is...Lmao...not even close. I guess if you're dirt poor making 10$ per month and living on food stamps it might be considered pricey for you but for any normal person would say it's very reasonably priced. Some people just want as much as they can get for as little as they can pay. All in all, it's great and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended to others.

I've only been here once and it was quite mediocre of an experience. The grill was "broken" or something so basically all they had available was salad and sandwiches. I have never been to a restaurant where they were so limited and still running, but to be fair, I understand with business that they wouldn't shut down. What bothered us was that they told us this after we had settled in. By then, we said it was fine and hoped for the best with what they did have to offer. The food ended up being just average and the service was unspectacular but did seem legitimately busy; we regretted coming here and eating. The crowd is loud and energetic and goes right with the interior decoration. I'm not a big fan of this style of venue, but perhaps if you and/or your group is, then it'd be fine.

Just finished a nice lunch meeting at Rafferty's and as always the food was great! I had the french dip sandwich (which was huge) with a salad. The service was friendly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the price was totally worth it. Nothing crazy about Rafferty's... just a nice, clean place with good food and friendly service.

I've only been here once and had take out one other time, so my review will be short and sweet on this one. The one time I went there, I only came to have a few beers and hang out at the bar. I believe my buddy and I had an appetizer to snack on, but I do not recall what it was. I don't remember having any complaints about it either though. One thing noteworthy is all the TV's. They have plenty, including huge ones, so this seems like it would make a great place to watch sports and have some drinks at. I have not been there during game day or what not, so I can not attest to the availability of the TV's. All in all, I had a good experience here. When I actually went in to the place, I had already eaten dinner, but I saw a prime rib sandwich on the menu. This is what I ordered for take out. On a quick note, I generally do not like ordering take out from these type of restaurants, since by the time you get home, the food is in different shape than when it was prepared. Not to any fault of the restaurant, but it does take away from the enjoyability of the food. Anyway, the sandwich was good. The prime rib was cooked great. Unfortunately with the take out/ transportation issue, the bread was a bit more soggy than I had liked, but once again, not the restaurants fault. I would like to try this sandwich again, actually at the place.

Always a fav spot! Had a yummy lunch with my bestie! The French Dips are great and the kids meals are $3.99 with a drink, check out the kids tenders :). Love the atmosphere.

My all time favorite place to eat in Clarksville! I've been here a bunch of times and should have rated them after my first time! I usually get the Frisco Salad (amazing) with their sweet potato with the yummy cinnamon butter, and a classic margarita :) My friend is a huge fan of their long island iced tea which comes in a HUGE mason jar glass. Def worth paying for! But besides their great food, the service is always fast & so polite. The other night I was there with my girlfriend and our waitress, Tiffany was top notch! So we left her a nice appreciation amount ;)
