I come here a few times sometimes its good sometimes its gross....went on a sunday amd the broth was not very tasty tasted as they used a powder mox instead of boiling the beef bone for long hours....and way over priced...might start going to little saigon again

I had the spring rolls and beef pho. Delicious! The spring rolls were nicely rolled and not rubbery. The pho had nice depth. My fiancée had a banh mi and it reminded me of the ones I ate growing up. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back soon.

Pho King is the only real Pho in town! I've actually only ever ordered the Beef Pho and Eggrolls because they are so good I crave them weekly! The staff is super friendly and service is always quick.

I've pretty much gone through all the reviews and I can say that if there was a problem with the service, it's definitely been corrected. I've eaten there 5+ times in the last 30 days and have had good service. Everyone is friendly and they even changed out a dish because I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. My wife always goes for the beef pho and I go for the filet dinner. The pho is great, excellent broths. The veggies that come with the pho are always fresh! The filet dinner is japanese hibachi style and it tastes great, I do wish they gave a larger portion of meat though. If they add a few more pieces og meat I would bump it up to 5 stars without a doubt!

Wasn't greeted or acknowledged when I arrived, so just took a seat at an open table. Spent five minutes waiting for a server or someone to bring a menu, ended up getting my own. Took another five to ten minutes for someone to even come take my order! Very frustrating. Thai iced tea isn't on the menu but I asked and they did have some. It's a light orange color and is almost sickeningly sweet rather than the creaminess of nearly every other thai iced tea I've ever had. Food didn't take long to be served, little light on the meat, but the broth was good. Plenty of sprouts, very stingy on the jalapeño. All in all, food was good but service was mediocre. They advertise free wifi but I didn't see any that I could use. Cash only but they at least provide an ATM.

I have been here a couple times, and have gotten the beef pho, the bahn mi, fresh rolls, meat roll, and gyoza. The best part out of everything was the SAUCE that comes with the Gyoza. Unfortunately, it wasn't brought out until we had looked around for a sauce to go with it and found soy sauce that looked like tea it was so watered down. The Sriracha is too, btw. The meat they use in their beef pho is actually roast beef lunch meat and looks and tastes gross and freezer burnt. The meat in the other stuff is low quality as well. In WA we have a pho place that is AWESOME, it's a third of the price with actually fresh and high quality ingredients while the labor still costs more. This place is grossly overpriced for the product that lands at your table. And our waitress wasn't all that great either. But who even notices shitty service at this sort of place anyway? The person trying to find redeeming qualities apparently.

Everybody knows there is nothing better than a hot cup of chicken noodle soup especially if you feel under the weather or the weather is freezing. Pho King has the best Vietnamese soups in the area. The fresh basil, lime and jalapeños will certainly clear your passages, if that doesn't quite clear it just add a splash of hot chili paste...yummy and good for what ails you. Also good on a sunny day when nothing is wrong. lol

We have been to Nashville to try pho, but it's just too sweet. Pho-king was just the right balance of sweet and savory. I got the beef pho with meatball 8.99 lg bowl and my husband got the beef pho with tendons, meatballs lg 8.99. We also decided to try the beef fried rice, which in my husbands opinion is the "Best" he has every had. I felt it was delicious, but I was focused on the Pho. The pho meet my expectations, but I didn't get all the condiments to put in my bowl - I'm used to cilantro. Other than that, the bean sports were fresh along with the basil, spicy jalapeño, and lime wedges. The waiter was young, and didn't use a pad to write our order down and he messed up a few things (no meatballs in my pho, and diet coke instead of regular). I was surprised that there was no fountain drinks, as I would've just got water - it was 1.75 for a 12oz can of soda (practically paid for a 12 pack) with no refill. Say What. That was a little annoying. However for our lunch out it was a good place to eat some Pho, being so far away from California and forgoing the trip to Nashville. We will eat here again.

Good pho. We go to Nashville twice a month to get groceries. When there, we always hit a vietnamese place to eat Pho. It's great to finally have a place in Clarksville to eat pho. Pho King had a rough start but they have finally settled down and learn how to run a restaurant for the most part. Their pho has always been beefy and good tasting. A lot of places I've been to have broth that tastes rushed or cheated. Pho Kings broth tastes like how pho is supposed to taste. How do I know how pho is supposed to taste? Why my wife and I make the best pho in town! We simmer or beef bones for at least 12-18 hours to make our pho broth. Given that, sometimes you just want to run out for a good quick bowl of good pho and that's what pho king does well. The wait staff is always nice and they always are busy. Very good signs for a restaurant!

Once again Clarksville doesn't know great food when they taste it. We've been to Vietnam twice and this place is legit. And they have bubble tea. Worth an extra star...

Being an Asian who lived in Los Angeles, for over 10 years, I had been eating tons of Phó. My wife and I went to try this place right after they opened and we thought it was not that bad at all. It was not super delicious but I'd rather be eating here instead of driving all the way to Nashville.

Thank goodness for Pho King in Clarksvile! The Pho is amazing- every time, the customer service is not terrible, but not fantastic- and canned soda is always a bust. If you're craving Pho, they will not disappoint.

I'm not usually in town so finding a place to eat on a date with a friend is always difficult. But pho king is just too funny of a name to not try out. We ordered two large pho and 1 order of spring rolls. I couldn't finish the pho because they gave so much. Overall, I enjoyed it :) tastes perfect with Sriracha and hoisin sauce~ definitely a perfect place for cold days or hangovers hahaha

  • Vivian S.

Good pho. My husband had the beef and I had the chicken. Broth was flavorful; good ratio of "stuff" to broth. We started with the fresh spring rolls - they were shrimp plus beef - good particularly with the peanut sauce that was covered with a layer of peanuts. Service was prompt and friendly. Next time we're road tripping through Clarksville, we'll stop in.

Authentic Bone Broth - No MSG. Delicious soup. I love the Beef. All condiments on table. Love the assortment of spicy additions. Only request is Larger Bowls, so there is room for more broth to noodle ratio. And also room to add the side of bean sprouts, etc. The small bowls are hard to mix everything in, without spilling over. Noodle amount is great, but typically you get a little more broth. Spring rolls are Delish. Shrimp tempura is good, but a tad greasy like fryer isn't hot enough. I would love to see authentic Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk (super strong, sweet). Or even green tea.. Or bubble tea. And a kids menu addition of a small PHO soup and drink. Either way, I come there alllllll the time for the soup. Worth it! Thanks for a great local spot that is not "fast food" but indeed FAST

Well the food was great, the service however... Let me start off by saying I am very very easy to please at any restaurant I eat at, the service here was HORRIBLE. My wife and I were sitting at our table for 15 minutes (yes I'm not kidding) before we were asked what we wanted to drink. Our waitress that was taking care of us seemed like she didn't have a clue what was going on. The food in the other hand was pretty good. The hot sauce was decent and it was very tasty. I will be coming back here soon, hopefully they have better service. I'll check back in and tell ya how it goes

Coming from Hawaii we are picky. Noodles here are not good at all. The broth is good. The chicken was good. The egg rolls were just ok. Staff is nice and establishment is clean.

Service was great. I had spring rolls that were just okay and a bowl of Pho. The meat used in the Pho had to be a very cheap cut of meat. It was okay but not great at all.

I went in and ordered 2 Pho,plus 2 orders of fried egg rolls. The menu had two size choices of Pho medium or large I wanted the medium i was told that i could only order the large size I went on and did so. I ask the lady at the counter to include 3 sauces for my egg rolls she said ok as i sat down to wait by the counter there was a guy standing next to her playing on his cell phone said only give her 2 sauces. I guess he thought i wouldn't hear what he said as my order got bagged i opened the container and ask for that extra sauce. I got home the egg rolls were so greasy i couldn't eat them and the Pho's had 2 slices of meat, the noodles were old they just crumbled in the broth, and the vegetables were very few. Sooooo disappointing.

Well, what kind of Vietnamese restaurant doesn't have Vietnamese coffee? Pretty sure it is probably the easiest thing ever to put in a menu. Besides that, the food came quickly enough. It looks clean and fresh. The broth has a good savory taste. Even the small bowl looks like it just enough to take away any hunger pangs. The sprouts and veggies look crisp and fresh as well. I originally came in for the Bahn Mi pork belly sandwich but they had no bread. Oh well, pho is always a good standby. I really wanted an ice coffee. Not sure if I will be back knowing they don't have it. Even if it is good pho, I always like to drink it with my meal. Anyway, the employees have their own mix (some 3-in-1) and gave me one knowing I really wanted one. Good for her. Makes me happy she tried to please the customer. By the way, they just changed their payment system to cash only. I think it is due to the length of time to process each card.

I went here with a friend and went to the counter to ask if we order at the counter or sit down at a table. They told us we can have a seat at any table but they were all dirty with bowls and plates still on the table, so we waited for about 5 mins b4 someone came and removed the plates but left the mess on the table, so we ended up wiping it off ourselves as we were hungry and wanted to try the pho...big mistake...the waitress asked us for our drink order and so we both ordered water and she brings out cheap bottle water...only to charge us more money...but we decided to still order, so we agreed on the beef pho, spring rolls and chicken teriyaki...the pho came out about 10 mins later, which was not good at all...way to much grease in the pho, and the vegetables were not enough to enjoy the pho....after the pho came out the waitress comes back about 10 mins later and I asked about the spring rolls and chicken teriyaki we ordered and she told me she forgot to write it down or put in the order, so we decided to cut her a break and still order it...when she finally brings out the spring roll, it was so hard and bland....seems like they make it in the morning and serve it all day...didn't taste fresh at all, so I was hoping the chicken teriyaki would satisfy me, but considering everything else was so below average I didn't know why I was hoping so much for my chicken....that wasn't good and the fried rice that came on the plate wasn't even comparable to the Japanese restaurants we have in Clarksville...so the whole pho king experience was a total disaster and I probably wont ever come back... ALSO WHO RUNS OUT OF PHO, WHEN YOUR NAME IS "PHO KING" AND PHO IS THE MAIN DISH YOU SERVE....

We're new in the area & this is by far the best Pho we've found. The service is good too. I would give them 5 star but the kids menu is pretty disappointing. Absolutely recommend this place for Pho! Great food, fast service & great people, super friendly.

I have eaten here at least 5 times since the opening and every time has been super yummy!! To be honest, I normally only order the same few things, though, just because I don't like to experiment too much. We have dined in once, and the service was wonderful. The server was very helpful, and explained about the food we were eating. Most anymore we get our meal to-go just because of convenience. I just recently ate Pho's this week, and it was great as usual. One time we placed an order to go, and they did forget out spring rolls. We went back to the store to tell them, and they had them ready in less than 5 mins and gave us a tea to go as well. Out of the numerous times we have ordered (at least 3-4 times per month) this has happened only once. I used to work in the restaurant industry, so I understand that mistakes do sometimes happen. Enjoy!

The pho broth is great! The reason why it gets 3 stars only is that it is over priced and the portion size of the pho is like a kids meal compared to pho in California. Very little meat. No meatballs, tripe, or tendon . They are missing a lot of traditional condiments. Also the space is very small inside. If they fixed that I would bump it up one more star. Their on point with the broth! I'll give them that.

Okay pho selection not so good though and customer service was lacking left off part of our order and no attention from staff had to approach counter for refill and for ticket. Pricing a little high, order for takeout if you eat here.

Just left. Did not stick around long enough to get served. First, the tables and chairs are so crammed in you can hear your neighbor's conversations as if you're at the table. Second, therl decor is non-existant. We went in to find out there was only one high chair and it was in use. Next we sat down (the person at the register watched us) and waited five minutes to have to go up to the counter and ask for menus and hear her apologise. They only had one setver who was focusing on one table at a time, which meant they would get their drinks and appatizers before anyone else got any kind of order taken. We spent about 10 minutes not getting checked on and watching someone else who came in after us make a to go order at the front counter ahead of us. As I was about to inquire why, we over heard the server tell another customer they were out of pho. So much for being the pho king. As we left I asked another customer who was leaving with a to go menus what they were out of and he said, "Pretty much everything." This experience was "Pho King" terrible.
