So this is the second time ever been to this restaurant. I came originally to their soft opening earlier this year. The first time was rough but understandable being the first opening. The second time i was very pleased. I came with my little brother, mother and step father. I actually have not eaten inside of the grill yet, both times we ate on the patio. Which is my first topic. The patio (covered and uncovered) is wonderful, ceiling fans in the covered area and a beautiful view!! Depending on the time of year you may be treated to an amazing sun set! The staff has been great both times, greeting you at the door and holding it open. A very kind and courteous hosts staff and waiting staff. My mother and i both had martinis, mine gin and hers vodka. they were both made well. I ordered the black and blue salad. It was very very good. I forgot to ask them to take off the fried onions, i ended up pulling them off and my mother ate them ;-) the balsamic glaze was pretty amazing. My brother had a burger (like he gets everywhere) said it was great. my step father just orders their sides because they are cheap and pretty good from what he said. The beer selection isn't huge but for a bar and grill in Clarksville its enough. It is definitely one of the restaurants on our list that we like to go to when I'm in town visiting.

I LOVE LIBERTY PARK GRILL! This place is so yummy and has such great food choices. They have a fantastic patio that overlooks the river. Drink and food specials for happy hour. Great draft beer selection with a variety of mixed drinks too. Please check this place out!!! Clarksville needs more places like this and less places that are chains!

I was reluctant to check this place out as I'm a stickler for good customer service and of course good food. Some of the yelp reviews left me in a quandary when it came to picking a place for dinner while in Clarksville on the 4th of July. Boy oh boy am I'm glad I threw caution to the wind. My boyfriend and I went in around 5 pm and decided due to the heat that we would dine inside. We both agreed that we will dine outside sometime when temps are in the 70s. There was one other table where we were seated in what I would call the main dining area. I liked that the hostess asked if we wanted a booth or a table. We sat for a bit wondering what was up as several staff walked past. Our server appeared and said the delay was due to her trying to post a pick of their drink special to her facebook page- aren't you supposed to be working? She acted like she had had a few of said drink so I wasn't overly impressed with her. My boyfriend quenched his thirst w/ a Jackalope and a Sam Adams Summer Ale both $6.25. I enjoyed their diet Coke $2.59 w/ lots of lemon. When I say I enjoyed their diet Coke, their mix is the best I've had in a restaurant other than fast food- that is saying a lot! I ordered the Salmon/Avocado salad $13.49 w/o dressing and I doused it with fresh squeezed lemon. It was hands down the best freaking salmon salad I've even eaten- it gets better as you eat it. The cilantro and jalapeno add a lot to this tasty dish. My boyfriend ordered their Blk and Bleu burger w/ fries $9.99. He couldn't finish it but he was sure to get all the of bacon before pushing the plate to the side. He said he would try something different next time. They serve complimentary sourdough w/ whipped butter- I didn't partake but he did and said it was alright- we took the remaining home and I had a slice the next day but it's a bread best eaten while at the restaurant. We'll be back!

I went here earlier this month for dinner and it was okay. The food was good, but the menu was limited I thought and prices were a tad to much for some menu items. I did like the parking lot and the interesting way you had to drive to get to the restaurant.

Loved the location/scenery but the food was just okay. Probably will return to see if that was just a bad night or bad menu choice. The food wasn't exactly worth the $ but we will see next time.

Liberty Park Grill has excellent views. Definitely sit outside of weather permits. Located right on the Marina, it's breezy and relaxing. Good for groups or families. Definitely ask for Kaleb as your server. You won't be disappointed. The cocktails are good, but also nice selection of beers. Excellent buffalo chicken sandwich, roast beef was pretty good and the spinach artichoke appetizer is on point! Try the Fish and Chips too. All good stuff. Will return.

Liberty Park Grill is definitely one of the best restaurants in all of Clarksville, with a beautiful view, excellent service and delicious food. I've been here four times and I've never been disappointed! Personal is always extremely helpful and professional, as well as very sweet and nice! Definitely makes the whole experience a lot better. Location is beautiful, overlooking the river and all of its surroundings. Try to sit outside of the weather allows it; you will not be disappointed! Worth to mention is their salmon and avocado salad; I've had it three out of my four times and it's the main reason I keep coming back to Liberty Park Grill! The salmon is always perfectly flaky and the salad is spicy in a very interesting (and delicious!) way, and just has a lot of flavor to it, something a lot of salads nowadays lack. And for gods sake, don't miss out on the bread! The best rolls I've had in the U.S, and I've lived here for over a year. For an excellent dinner and/or lunch-experience in Clarksville, Liberty Park Grill would be my top choice.

All it has been said to be. A local friend picked our dinner place, and she did great. The facility, setting, staff, & food were Excellent!!!

This is probably the best eating establishment in all of Clarksville. In fact, if you transplanted this place to Nashville or Louisville, it would probably thrive there too! Pros: The service - spectacular... wow speedy food... always smiles and super helpful tips even though we had a huge crowd that probably drove them crazy. The food - yes this is American bar/gastropub food so nothing crazy... but it was delicious, well seasoned, definitely had some fresh ingredients. The view - oh and its a pretty amazing view by the riverfront too

I was so excited to try Liberty Park Grill based on the reviews and location. We wanted to sit outside but we're too hungry to wait 1.5 hours for a table and opted for the open bar seating. We sat down right away and I thought it was great there were tables large enough for 8 that a group could sit at right away with no wait. We were approached by a waitress quickly. My fiancé and I ordered cocktails which were decent, just a little too much mixer in my Margarita. Our appetizer came out quickly and was very good (Onion Rings for two). We placed our entree order and I noticed we were the only table without bread. I waited about 10 mins before finally having to ask our waitress to please bring us some. I got the Black N Bleu entree salad. The presentation was nice and it was piled high with ingredients. I ordered the tenderloin medium rare but many of the pieces were so full of gristle that I couldn't chew or swallow them and had to spit them out. Yuck! Definitely overcooked. My fiancé enjoyed his Jamaican Jerk Chicken. We will be back but I won't be ordering that salad again. They have a happy hour which looked decent.

So, the first time I went to liberty park I had a horrible experience. The waitress didn't know what came in a house salad, the bread as the server said was made wrong and it was doughy and the steaks were not cooked the way they were ordered. However, my boyfriend and I went there a week ago and it was much better. We had gotten the onion rings as an appetizer and they were crispy and enjoyable. Our server I believe was Lisa and she did a great job, and was very friendly. The bread they gave us this time around was much better than the last and had a hint of salt to taste. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries and I ordered fish and chips. Burger was made how the menu described and the fries were shoe strings and flavorful. My fish was pretty good, but I would have liked it to be cooked maybe a little longer. The resturant is very pretty. Overall decent food this time and good service.

Great food and service! The waitress was nice and accommodating! And the vies-gorgeous!!!! I would have eaten outside if it wasn't so hot! I wish I lived closer to it! There was an issue with the alert buzzer (?), but it was ok!

I wish there were half stars because I would give it 2.5. The service was great. The food...not so great. The fish and chips were super mushy. The salmon salad was so-so. It was covered in dressing and the salad was a bit limp. The chicken strips were fine. Everything was very salty. We really wanted to like it and may give it one more try but the food could use some improvement. My husband's martini was half full and my wine glass was visibly dirty. Hopefully, we will see some improvements because the location is great!

My wife wanted to try it out so we went there for lunch today. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. That is pretty much all that was good. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was served with a long hair in the melted cheese. The Filet Kabob with RICE I ordered came with mashed potatoes The first piece of meat I bit into had to be tendon or something because I was unable to chew through it. They brought me a replacement Kabob dish with mashed potatoes again! No tendon/unchewable meat this time though. Some of the meat was tough, I think it's just a quality of meat issue. I recommend you stay away and eat somewhere else. I was really excited and so disappointed that it was this bad. I will never eat there again.

  • Nikki S.

The food was very good. I had the salmon and it was very fresh, which I was not expecting in TN. The only thing keeping me from giving another star is the waiter, he was good, but was at our table every 90 seconds and it got annoying. We felt rushed even though the place was not busy. The food was great though, no complaints there and the half price wine Wednesday was a bonus.

This place opened up fast! Came in for lunch with a friend within the first week of opening. Located next to the Marina so you have a nice view of the water. Parking lot was 1/2 full. No wait time, which is nice compared to the chaos on Wilma Rudolph. Has a nice patio dining area if you are wanting to eat outside. Inside is surprisingly bigger than I expected. Has a pretty significant bar area with booths but is separated by a wall from the dining area. Nice, comfortable ambiance. Has a fireplace at the entrance. Hostesses were friendly and escorted me to the table where my friend was seated, that was nice. Menu has a variety of dishes to choose from to suit many different tastes. Almost labeled it under American (new) but the Jamaican Jerk Chicken threw that idea off. They have just a mix of things. Menu isn't too complicated and prices are reasonable and listed. Everyone knows if the price isn't listed then it's probably expensive. I ordered a starter of Fried Pickles! They were lightly fried with a slight tart crunch to them. Really yummy! The salmon avocado salad with cilantro was amazing. I held off the jalapeños and sautéed fungus ( mushrooms). They forgot to put the avocado and feta on it, but got distracted by the flavor of the salmon. It was grilled perfectly! Flaky but not dry and the seasoning created a little bit of broiled crunch on top with a hint of salt. It was so good!! I forgot all about the missing items. The waitress did bring me a few slices of avocado when I mentioned it. It was fresh and chilled. Perfect! The salad was crisp and fresh. The balsamic vinaigrette was served on the side. I also ordered steamed asparagus which I couldn't pass up. I was a little worried that it looked over cooked but had a nice buttery flavor with just the right amount of salt and crunch to the stem. Just the way I like it. I could of ordered another one it was that good. My friend had the spicy shrimp starter which wasn't overly spicy and tossed with a sweet Asian sauce. She liked it. We didn't have desert but they offered a variety of those as well. Def. will have to save room for that next time. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Checked back with us occasionally and cleared the table as needed. I almost gave 4 stars due to the forgotten items but the salmon pushed it to 5 stars. Not too bad for the first week open. I will return to try other items on the list. The salmon has been the best iv had in Clarksville so far! The cooks definitely know what they are doing in the kitchen!! Great location and a nice addition to the south side of town. I'm a happy eater! :)

My server Bailey was very attentive and personable. The spicy shrimp appetizer was fantastic and the ribs were moist and fell right off the bone. I would recommend you try the Lynchburg Lemonade on a hot day. I will be returning and recommending this place to everyone

Nice view. Average food. Friendly staff but not the most efficient. Made several mistakes with our order but always quite gracious.

A buddy of mine recommended to go. We went for a drink and was told we could sit outside. Was given a hard time about sitting outside it was not busy. Was hounded to order food and or drinks. View from outside was nothing spectacular. Ended up going back inside to finish our drinks. Host gave sly remark. Would not go again. Very pushy and I'm from NY.

We love it here! It's so much fun to sit by the water and eat. The food is so yummy and the wait staff is definitely worth mentioning! It's a beautiful view!

Very impressed with this restaurant! We had a very large group (40 people) and they were spot on. Friendly, attentive, organized and the food was good. Thanks Robert and great servers and staff!!

Took a long time to get food and the waiters did not check on the table enough. The food was good but wasn't worth it worth the wait that came with it.

Awful service. Overpriced food. Management unresponsive to customers issues. 3 visits and each time a miss. Patio is nice as long as the Cumberland River isn't nauseating with the odor of down stream floaters.

We held a Birthday party brunch at The Liberty Park Grill today. It was PERFECT! The restaurant is perfectly located next to the marina with stunning outdoor scenery of the nearby park. The staff were extremely accommodating with our party decor, cake, and picture taking. And the food... Y U M! 6 Ladies with varying appetites and we all left full and Happy. Thank you Liberty Grill! We had a wonderful time and we have you to thank!

My first visit to Liberty Park Grill was excellent, I'll almost certainly return very soon and regularly thereafter. We tried the Corn Dodgers and new potato skins, they were good starters. The Corn Dodgers are essentially fried cornbread stuffed with pulled pork barbecue, with a barbecue dipping sauce. First time I'd had something like that, and it was enjoyable. Their potato skins were even better, cooked to perfection but not dry as can sometimes happen. I had what may have been the best Caesar salad I'd ever had with my meal, it was very flavorful and fresh. I had the rib-eye for my entree. It was a good cut of meat, cooked to the correct temperature and seasoned very well. Highly recommend!

The best advice I can give is do not try this place at all. We stated our the night try their Budwiser chili nachos and fried pickles. The chili tasted like a can with flat beer being add to it. To add to that chips in the nachos were were like they been left out in open air for whole week. The fried Pickles had been thaw out and then been re-frozen then cooked for us, this made them into just one ball. The dinner was worse for us no one finished any of their dinners. I had the12 oz Grilled Ribeye. The Ribeye was not fresh meat but frozen could till this from it had no flavor and was tough. Hope this help someone not to have the bad experience we had. If looking for place for great drive somewhere else for your dinner.

My husband and I had been eating here once a week ever since it opened. Today I ordered my favorite, Salmon Avocado Salad. What a disappointment! They switched the medley of lettuce to Romain lettuce only. In the past there were several slices of Avocado and mushrooms, today I received one of the most paper thin slices of Avocado with two little slices of mushrooms. There was absolutely zero dressing and the only moisture was the few water droplets left from washing the lettuce. The salmon was much smaller than in the past and the only cheese was carefully crumbled on top of the fish. What a terrible disappointment! I asked the hostess staff to relay a message of my disappointment to the manager and was told 'Oh they changed the Salmon Salad?' Well, it was nice while it lasted, won't go back.

We went there for lunch and sat on the outside patio. Nice view with clean area and very friendly staff. A bit noisy from the boats but not awful. Unfortunately there is no lunch menu and there were a limited number of things to choose from under $10 for lunch . I got the chili and southwest egg rolls . The chili was extremely spicy but tasty and then egg rolls were good. My lunch date had the cheeseburger and said it was very good. I would recommend it for a dinner date but not for families with kids or for lunch. Not many sandwich choices . And surprisingly not many seafood options which surprised me since it is on the river. It is newly opened so I hope that in time they will expand the menu some and perhaps cater more to the lunch crowd.

We enjoyed lunch here on Father's Day and everyone at the table LOVED the bread. It is so good! My husband also loved his Strawberry Chicken salad. Our sons liked their buffalo chicken sandwiches and fish & chips. We received excellent service and will definitely be back!

  • Bj C.

The atmosphere was really nice and the staff was super friendly. Food was extremely overpriced and my boyfriend got food poisoning. He thought his chicken looked a little iffy. With all the other places to eat in Clarksville, I don't know if I'd be willing to give It another chance.

Bleh, I take back my previous review. I went here for dinner and had the pasta with cream sauce and chicken. Literally the most bland, tasteless dish I have ever eaten. It was like eating cardboard. I also had the spinach dip for an appetizer and it had a very bizarre tang to it. It tasted like the dairy they used in it had spoiled. Needless to say we didn't eat any of it past two bites. They have a nice patio and decent service. I wish the food was better, this place could be great.

    (2)
  • Heather R.

I have dined here about 4 times since they opened. Each visit has been pleasant. The jerk chicken is good - but not authentic, and I wish the fish and chips had a lighter batter. Otherwise, the food is good, the specials are good, and the drinks are good. I especially love this place because of the view over the river, and the lack of long waits like most of the Wilma Rudolph area restaurants. It is a quiet, low-key place with class - but still great for kids. I will keep coming back!

I really enjoyed this place! I was in town for one night on business and wasn't thrilled about what I had seen in terms of restaurants in Clarksville. I decided based on reviews and set out to find this place. Beware, GPS may NOT be able to find this-two different ones sent me to the campus-so it's off of Riverside but it was worth the persistance needed to find this place. It is in a neat location with a nice view of the river and has a nice patio and rocking chairs out in the front of the restaurant to wait for your table. Nice comfortable, clean and casual but classy interior. The service was excellent, the choices were decent and the ribeye was very tasty, tender and properly cooked. The asparagus was good, and the salad consisted of fresh produce. The Balsamic Vinegerette was possibly the best I've ever had. The bread is quite good, too. Overall, this place is new and should be around for a long time!

this is the first time me and my wife visiting liberty park grill so here is my honest review. Wait time: 30 minutes with a buzzer for convenience....this is kind of a norm for any restaurant on a Saturday and I noticed that this place has fast Wi-Fi which is great way to make the time go by fast Location: me and the wife had time to walk the marina and watch the boat go in and out. great location!! seating: you can either seat yourself at the bar or you have a choice of outside on the patio or inside where you can choose a bench or a table. If you want to sit inside with two people you wont get a seat by the window with a view of the marina. a group of 3+ will get the larger benches by the window but hey if you want to have a view of the marina you can always eat a the patio which is very nice. ordering: the menu is very simplistic. they have two types of steak, two types of fish, two types of burgers etc... the wife's salad came out about 5 minutes after she order and was very fresh with her dressing in a separate container. our drinks came to us about 2 minutes from the moment we sat down...very fast compared to most of the restaurants in Clarksville. very fast. entrée : both our plates came out to us at the same time. i ordered the chicken strips with fries and my wife ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes. (looks like something off the kids menu) just to let you know the fries were great but my chicken strips looked more like chicken fingers so if your looking for something that's gonna fill you up you probably should order something else, but they were very tasty, juicy and crisp with a side of bbq sauce. the wife said her pot was very moist and flavor. the only critique that she had was that it was too salty. her potatoes was very sweet and runny so she really didn't touch it after a couple bits but she said next time she orders she would just get a different side but would have the roast again. check out: the waiter was very prompt with the check and asked us to see if we wanted dessert but we declined. the waiter was very sweet so we left a tip. cost: the norm for us at most eatery's in Clarksville is typically between 35-40 our bill was 31. they didn't charge us for our drink which could of been a mistake. rating: 4/5 stars it would get 5 stars the cost/ portion size wasn't right. The wifes potatoes were awful. I hope this review helps. god bless

The location and interior spaces at Liberty Park Grill are fabulous. We were with a party of 4 on a Friday night and were seated quickly. I ordered the pork tenderloin which didn't have much flavor. It was served with a condiment bowl of sweet barbecue sauce; tasted like K.C. Masterpiece or similar. The second sauce for the tenderloin was a cheese sauce which was very good and helped to rescue the slightly overcooked asparagus. Nothing, however could have rescued the sweet potatoes, which were the consistancy of baby-food with a powdery topping of over-processed pecans. Our friend had the pot pie. It was served in a shallow oblong baking dish draped in crust. He ate most of it, but said he wouldn't order it again. Our other friend enjoyed the jerk chicken and my husband liked his fried fish and fries. I really want this restaurant to make it. I hope they will hire a chef to come in and review their menu and preparation techniques. I will try it again, but if I get poorly prepared food again, we probably won't give them another shot.

My favorite place in Clarksville! Finally someone realized the potential in the river district. The back patio is covered and with all the overhead fans it stays cool. Being that it's on the marina and facing a view of the sunset makes it a great spot for date night, family dinners or a night with friends. Their drinks are strong and nicely priced. I've liked every dish I've tried and there key lime pie is fabulous! I'm so glad there is finally a decent place in Clarksville that isn't another chain.

Great location and decor, but the food is just average. The menu is rather limited in my opinion. I ordered onion rings as a side and the brought me, I'm not kidding, three onion rings. Thick cut, but still. The best part is the bread. If it is fresh, it's hard to beat.

  • Tammy M.

Talked the husband into trying it for the first time. The service was decent. He got the cheeseburger which he liked. I got the po'boy sandwich. Disappointed it wasn't shrimp, however, it was good. My only complaint was between the fish and the bun it was hard to handle. The fish kept sliding off and breaking into chunks. So it was hard to eat. I got the strawberry cake to go since I was full. Would have liked it better had they put the whipped cream in a side cup so it didn't melt and make the cake mushy. Other than that it was decently priced and good.

Clean. Great building design and atmosphere. Everything looks and feel brand new at this place. The seating is comfy and there is plenty of it. Patio take advantage of the water front view. Food was great. Presentation and taste all would pass any FoodNetwork challenge. :) Service was perfect. Friendly and quick. No constant nagging. Just the right amount. Front desk was polite and helpful. Check look at the pictures I uploaded. Menu included.

Nice ambience, huge waitstaff, friendly and great American dishes. There is patio dining as well as indoor dining with the view of the marina and the Cumberland River. Beautifully decorated, large, comfortable seats and booths. Fresh baked bread as a prelude to your order. Large portions , great tea and wines. We were welcomed by one of the managing partners. Just a great overall experience.

Attmostphere was decent but food was mediocre at best. Also we ordered a couple of drinks and there was not a single drop of alcohol in our glass, and these were doubles mind you. I'm not a fan of paying $14 for a cranberry juice

I went here last Friday and was overall impressed. The bartenders were great. I liked the drink menu (beer, wine and mixed drinks) and I even ordered off the menu and the bartender didn't bat an eye. Drinks were good and strong too. We sat on the patio which overlooked the marina. My husband and I always complain that there are not enough patios in this town! You could still tell that they were a bit new as the waitress was still a bit flustered and trying to get a handle on the menu and my chicken was cold when I got it. She did mess up my sides but replaced them no charge. The menu had traditional fare, I'm hoping to see some more unique options once they get a foothold but everything I had was tasty. Overall, I was more impressed with bar than with the restaurant itself but I gave it four stars anyway because they just opened and I think they're still trying to work the kinks out. Also it has a great venue! Clarksville needs more places like this and I'll be excited to see what they have to offer once they hit their stride.

I had a great meal at this brand new restaurant. I look forward to returning many more times with my family and friends. A very neat feature in the bar is a frosty chill plate to keep your drink cold. I've never seen one but now I wish I had one at my house

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My husband and I took our two boys to eat on the patio. We were seated right away. The views of the marina were awesome and the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. My husband ordered the Ribeye, it was cooked and seasoned perfectly! I ordered the Salmon, the sauce that comes on it is so tasty! My boys got the chicken tenders and loved them. I heard they have great happy hour specials so my next visit will be with my girlfriends for HAPPY HOUR! I highly recommend this place. It's the best restaurant in Clarksville!

We had an incompetent server make us wait 20 minutes for our DRINKS because she suspected one of our parties' ID's to be fake (it wasn't.) The manager barely apologized and the server was anything but remorseful. She then brought out our bread WITH the entrées. The food was alright. Decent looking interior. Will not be returning.

Fantastic. Not sure what the previous reviewers were talking about because this place is very good. I have to question their authenticity. That said I was told the food was amazing, but the patio was the place to be. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside so we sat in the bar which has the craziest frosted rail to keep your drinks ice cold. The staff was friendly and the food great. We had the spicy shrimp app which is better than the famous Bonefish Bang Bang shrimp. I had a strawberry chicken salad and my friend had the grilled salmon. They were both perfect! I can't wait for Spring.

I came out to try this restaurant for lunch, and it was nothing special. The bread was good, my hamburger was okay. I could probably get something for 1/4 the price at Burger King that would be just as good. The location is really pretty just off the river, but it was really hard to find with my GPS.

Going out with friends and choosing Liberty Park Grill seemed such a great idea.I was surprised that there hardly was any waiting time to be seated on a Saturday night. The menu seemed kind of small which could be have been a good sign since they could specialize themselves on perfecting the few. With the location on the beautiful marina I expected I first class restaurant. The drinks were small and lacked taste. The bread was good, the steaks overdone and overpriced, the pasta was nice but the worst ever side was the corn which was supposed to be flavored. It tasted like it came right out of a can and was microwaved. The waitstaff was friendly and courteous. The only highlight of the evening was a walk around the docks.
