My favorite place to eat! They have terrific service and two for one margaritas! Everyone there is so kind and they always seem cheerful. They also offer to go meals which is nice for when you want to eat at home but don't want to cook.

I have been here before so came back, our waiter was so nice, until he brought back my change. I gave him 2 20's and he brought me pennies back for a bill for $25.00. I thought he was teasing us, but no, he said I gave him $25.00. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, will tip him as the bill indicated, but am so disappointed that someone tried to take advantage of me. I will not go back for this reason ever

The service was EXCELLENT! The food was typical american mexican. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was hot, it arrived quickly, and our server was very attentive. Overall, it was a good experience.

This place used to be our fav Mexican spot where I could get a giant margaritas and get some pretty awesome carnitas. We ate here twice a month at least. The food comes out pretty fast, good service, and usually every one in our big fan is happy. That was until our last visit. My daughter got chicken taquitos , they brought out beef taquitos. Fine, but she ordered chicken. They apologized and quickly brought out chicken taquitos. They looked a little dry, but my daughter just wanted to eat. Later that day she was very, very sick. Both ends sick! She recovered the next day. I've given it two stars because this was a fav spot of ours and bc I can't really prove the food poisoning came from here or Cracker Barrel. We are here for lunch and Cracker Barrel for dinner. Apart of me wants to go back and get a margarita, but after seeing my daughter suffer that night I haven't had the heart to return to either restaurants.

Great atmosphere, the portions were generous and the flavor was good. Had the vegetarian combo. Chile relleno was perfect. The entire group was pleased with their choices.

Boy is this a good place to eat at! We came to this restaurant because they are soon going to open up one closer to our home. As previously described the decor is quite colorful. Kids would like the motif as I saw some Disney characters painted on the booths. My fajitas were delicious, brought to my table on a sizzling pan. Chicken, grilled green peppers, onions and tomatoes cooked in a fantastic sauce made this dish one of my favorites in Clarksville. My sides were on a platter with guacamole, sour cream, a chunky salsa, refried beans and rice. Three tortillas were served with the meal but my server brought over more after I scarfed down the first 3. I only gave 4 stars because my food came probably 4 minutes before my wife got her meal. Will be back.

As far as local Mexican cuisine goes, this place is above average. I don't understand the "greasy" comments because it wasn't any more or less greasy than don panchos or toreros. They are, after all, catering to a certain demographic of people since they are in TN. We like our grease. However, as I said, not all that greasy. Great service. We got our food faster than one would at Arby's. Beautiful decor too.

Let me first say I love the interior of the restaurant. Every inch of seating and wall space is covered in bright paintings; I like it so much! The food was quite good, with lots of options for relatively low/fair prices for a sit-down restaurant. I'm happy that I found a place with Hispanic cuisine that isn't too greasy. Their margaritas are also delicious! My friends and I will probably frequent this restaurant, as it's so fun to eat at.

My favorite Mexican place in Clarksville, and I've tried most of them. Easily the fastest and friendly service in town, really good prices on food, and the 2-for-1 Margatria deals on Wed and Sat help. I would eat here once a week... wait, I almost do. The décor is weird, so don't let that throw you off. I usually just get the 3 tacos a la carte (only $5) and it is more than filling with plenty of good chips/salsa beforehand. I'm going to miss this place when I move next month!

My family loves Dos Margaritas, we go there a 2 or 3 times a month. Food is always good, staff is always very nice, prices are good and what's better than buy one get one free margarita night?!

I won't be returning. Very dissappointed. The food was greasy and disgusting. The margarita tasted like straight sour lime mix with no alcohol. Service was slow and poor, I should've walked out in the beginning when it took a while to be greeted and seated... Not to mention served. Trust me, it was horrible.

I was disappointed by the food. Decor was nice. Server was polite. I had the tampiquena, which was not like any I've ever had and not in a good way. I try to avoid carbs so I didn't want tacos or flautas like I sometimes like. I'm from Chicago and every time I've got this dish it's a flattened boneless steak. I love it! this place threw me a bone in greasy steak that was mostly fat. No Bueno! My tortilla soup had rice and stuff in it,which made it hearty, but I wanted a typical brothy, spicy soup with little bits of chicken & avocado. Baja Fresh on the west coast does it correctly. thankfully the soup was so huge it filled me up cause I could barely get 5 dry bites off the steak. My boyfriend liked his fajitas & the kids liked their tacos. I guess if you eat here stick to basics. don't try and get anything authentic. Margaritas were terrible. No wonder they were buy one get one free. I really don't think there was any tequila in them. If they could be a bit more liberal with the tequila, I'd go back & try something that is easy and can't be messed up. finally - chips seemed homemade but the salsa was very bland.

LOVE this place! We go at least once a week, so they know us, but the service is always quick and friendly. The salsa I SOO good and at the table quickly, usually before the drinks. The Pollo Fundido is super good, kinda like a Mexican version of chicken & rice, but with cheese. We also get the Fajita Quesadillas and they're really good, we get those almost every time.

I like the food here better than other places in Clarksville, their margaritas are super cheap and really strong... bonus points for that! I recommend the shrimp cocktail, the restaurant uses jumbo shrimp and at least a whole avacado is chopped up and thrown in there. It's way too yummy!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
