As vegetarians, this restaurant is a favorite for me and my husband. There are so many options for us, and the food is always good. The Pad Se Eew and Cashew Nut with tofu are favorites. The waitress is so nice, and is always smiling. We love this place.

As a vegetarian, the many tofu options are very appreciated. The second location also serves sushi, but we still come here for the Massaman curry, and the pad Thai!! Service is always great, and the prices are great, and great portions!!

One of the best Thai foods I've ever had and the prices are sooo affordable.

In town for business & I stumbled upon this restaurant. It is delicious, so much so I have eaten here all week. I have tried something different each night and all has been delicious. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable and the portion size is perfect. Extremely flavorful dishes!

I am here visiting my husband ( he is working up here) OMG..I have a sore throat so I told him I really would like some hot tea and maybe some soup. So he knows I hate chinese food so he mention Thai ...I love Thai Land food. This place...OMG the customer service was A+++++ times that. I order the Fried Tofu Appetizer (it was easy for me to swallow, It wasn't that fried just slightly brown) and I order some Green Hot Tea and Tofu Vegetable soup, Oh and for dessert we had Fried Banana Ice cream (My husband loved it)..He cleaned his food + dessert, I couldn't even believe my son also ate (toddler/picky eater) I just arrived here in Anderson, But I am so going back to this place before I leave next week. Customer Service was really really nice she was just a sweet waiter, Clean place very, very, very clean. LOVE IT !!!

Ill go with everyone else. .this place is great. The laab salad is a little salty and not near as spicy as you would get in the land of smiles but still tasty and probably good for Anderson palates. The pad kee mao was on point and great basil flavor. Small place with nice windows all the way around.

Abdolutely love Thai Spice. Any time you go their food is excellent and their service is great! I am willing to eat there more than any other restaurant in town.

Simply the best Thai in Anderson. Love everything I have tried as a vegan on the menu. The employees are all so friendly and though the restaurant is small you do not feel overcrowded.

Now this is great Thai Food! I'm not sure how this tiny little restaurant in Anderson can consistently pump out such great food! The lunch comes with a cucumber salad and spring roll, paired together, these are the perfect appetizers. My favorite is the Pad Kee Mow (Spicy Basil Noodle), which is close to the best I've had...anywhere. The only two negatives are the lack of a children's menu, the lack of seating, and the slow undertrained service. Even with those negatives, their food is so good, I can't give less than 5 stars!

The staff is super friendly and helpful! Food is really good too! Basic decor.

I recently moved to Anderson from a larger city where there were tons of Thai options, and this does not disappoint. Don't be in that big of a hurry when you sit, or order, or while you're waiting for the check. The massaman curry is all I've ordered, but what can I say, its my comfort food, and I keep going back.

I was so pleasantly surprised by how good the food is here. Some of the best I've had in SC. Will definitely come back!

THEY HAVE CLOSED THE CLEMSON RESTAURANT. It was a great restaurant, an offspring of their original on Greenville St, across Anmed Hospital in Anderson. Now, the restaurant Thai-Ger (a Clemson pun) is the place to go Thai. I don't think it is quite as good as Thai Spice was (or is in Anderson), but it is good for Clemson... and far better than the one that was here years ago. If you get towards the hospital in Anderson, try Thai Spice.

This is some of the best Thai food around. I live in Greenville and come to eat here.

How does this place not have more reviews? I live in NJ and my Aunt lives in Anderson. She took me here for the first time a few years ago. They have the best Chicken Satay IN THE WORLD!!!!! I always get 2 orders of it, and get 2 more to take home! It is full of flavor, and the sauce is to die for! Also the cucumber salad that comes on the side is amazing! The Pad See Ew is Awesome as well! The place is small and they have a small parking lot. The owner is really nice as well! Every time I visit my Aunt I have to stop here. Please check this place out.

So good. And so very reasonably priced. I still prefer it to most places in Greenville.

Very good Thai food. I had the spicy fried rice and was very pleased. Someone else got me take out so I can't really comment on the service.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the upstate in my opinion. I have ate at every single one in Greenville and Spartanburg and still not one can hold a flame the food here. Of course all the curry is amazing, but my favorite dish is the drunken noodle. Whenever I have visitors coming to see me, I always bring them here for some good food.

Thai Spice was my first experience with Thai food. I absolutely fell in love with it. I've been to a few other Thai restaurants in the area since, but none are as good as this. I usually get the Thai fried rice or the Spicy fried rice. The atmosphere and service are great. The only downside to eating in the restaurant is that it's pretty small. It can get crowded around lunchtime, but you can always get carryout.

I was surprised when i saw a Thai restaurant opening in narrow minded Anderson. But I was pleasantly surprised when i went there with co-workers and it was great food! Everything is fresh and tastes great, i have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one by far is very close to the top of my list. I took my dad there last year who doesn't really care for Thai food and he said "this is the best Thai food i have ever had" and for him to get excited is saying something. I have tried everything on teh lunch menu and it's all good. For dinner I get teh soft shell crabs in curry. They give you three soft shell crabs. The place is small so if you have to wait for a table it's sort of awkward but a very small price to pay.

Maybe they were having an off day. Maybe they had a new person in the kitchen. My wife and I went there to try them out, and we were sorely disappointed. It started out nicely where a courteous server took our drink orders. Then took our food orders. The food took about 30 minutes to get to the table, but mine came out first. We had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring my wife her meal. Then we began eating. Our food tasted like vinegar and smelled awful. We both couldn't finish our meal. The only redeeming quality was the nice server that we had. She was very courteous and it looked like she was in charge of 6 tables or so. I won't be back, but based on the other reviews I think they just had an off day.

Maybe we will try again some day. We were excited about trying since we just moved to the area. We waited for longer than 15min. Not over exaggerating. We checked in when we sat down. It was busy, but that's not our problem. At least offer water. Everyone was eating and being waited on but.....us. I don't complain a lot. Read my reviews.. SMH

Great meal, great service. This is really a great place for Thai food. Better than any in Greenville. Love eating here! Not a large dining area, but sufficient.

I have been to many Thai restaurants and no other Thai restaurant compares to Thai Spice in Anderson. The man and woman who run the restaurant are the nicest people ever and have great memories. When I go inside, they know exactly what I want to drink and eat, and how spicy I like the dish. If I decide to change my mind, she will remember both dishes and ask which I prefer the next time. My two go-to-dishes are the Spicy Basil Noodle, Chicken, Medium/Hot and the Massaman Curry with chicken. For the full experience, try the Thai iced tea and you'll be in for a sweet treat. Lunch includes a cucumber appetizer and a perfect portion of your main dish. Be patient when you go as they get very busy at lunch but it is worth every minute of the wait. Beat the crowd by going for dinner during the week. Every Thai restaurant you visit afterwards will be compared to this one! Simply the best!

My wife and I love Thai food, and we agree that this is one of the best places we've visited in the country. We've explored nearly every Thai restaurant in Denver, Seattle, Portland, OR, and many in Massachusetts, New Hampshire (the few you can find), Memphis, and Virginia. Every one of their beef salad dishes is incredible, their Nam Tok, Yum Nua (on the menu as Beef Salad), and Larb (we always get beef instead of chicken). Their Tom Kha is world class. The nuance in flavor of everything they make is demonstrative of a chef who considers their work an art. Service is always friendly, and they are more than happy to accommodate special requests. Can't recommend Thai Spice enough!

Had the Thai Spice Chicken. It was phenomenal. It always feels like the food here is very fresh and I can find lighter things to eat. Highly recommended!

Love this restaurant. The staff is so friendly and the food is excellent every time we go. Craving Thai?..go here! I love the Spicy Fried Rice, the spring roll appetizer and the Pra Ram is a winner.

Every time I come here the food quality is phenomenal and so is the service. Can't ask for anything more in a restaurant. A true gem in Anderson!

Some of the best food in town- if you like spicy foods, try the Spicy Veggie with beef. If you're new to Thai food this place has some of the best Pad Thai ever. If you're in a hurry for lunch, this might not be the place to go. their busiest hours are between 11:30-1:00 as they are right across the street from the hospital. Worth the wait if you have time!

Outstanding food! In the past ten days I have had 15 different entrees, one salad & one soup. The spice level can be ordered from mild to Thai hot. This is one of my favorite restaurants in this area. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and service is courteous & speedy. If you like Asian food, do not miss this one. The space is rather small (a former fast food establishment) but is pleasant and comfortable.

I eat here almost every time I am in Anderson, SC. Updated foods to try: Pad Prik King, Paradise Ginger, Eggplant Basil, Pineapple Fried Rice. Steamed Dumplings. The staff is fantastic, they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is wonderful and memorable.

More similar to Thai takeout than actual Thai, this place is a local chain. The menu is totally meant for Americans, meaning that some of the tastiest dishes (larb, som tum) are conspicuously missing! The cucumber salad is too sweet and one dimensional. You don't make Thai salad by dousing veggies in sweet-chili sauce! My entree was generally good and the prices are reasonable. Still, probably not my future "go-to" Thai place...

Good: Excellent food. No doubt about it. Indifferent: price.........some things too high, otherwise okay. Con: Atmosphere......cold, like you're in a warehouse feeling. Service.......staff is pleasant but not hustlers. That, coupled with cold feeling, leaves you questioning your choice of places to eat. Take-out: HORRIBLE. They don't use proper containers and everything will spill on your way home. Also, the amount of take-out is far less than what you get at eat-in. Finally, you must always ask for things, like sugar, straw, napkins, etc. And sometimes do not have routinely supplied condiments.

Fabulous! My husband and I loved it! Great service, and a small intimate atmosphere. Get there early or be prepared to wait. We will surely drive the hour it takes to get there for our date nights!

Delicious Thai food, fast & friendly service, great prices! I've lived in Thailand and I found the food to be quite authentic. Great array of veggie options... I highly recommend the massaman curry! The restaurant is a bit cramped and the seating isn't super comfortable, but the food and low prices more than make up for this.

  • Tom U.

Yup. The Tom yum soup, though not the clasic Tom yum you'd expect, was spectacular none the less. Mussels, squid and shrimp. Duck with crispy basil leaves was as good as any I've had, with a sauce unique to this place. Deffinitely eating here next time I'm in town.

Great food and nice quiet atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
