Today was the first time I have been to their new location on Civic Center Blvd. Very clean and spacious as opposed to their old location. The pizza was amazing, I love they use very little sauce on the pizza. Today they had chocolate chip peanut butter dessert pizza that was amazing as well. And I can't complain about the price of the buffet either! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

i used to work there about 15 years ago-maybe a little less. the owners are craZY. they are egyptian brothers married to nyc italian sisters. they fought all of the time. they slaughtered a lamb or a sheep in the back room one time-for one of their religious holidays. crazy crazy crazy. but the food....is so GOOD!!!! the pizza is great-especially for the south. the best is the lasagna. the garlic knots are the best ever. i miss this place-it is small and tacky on the inside but I could eat there every other day.

The service was slow, and I had to get our own silverware. The salad bar was fresh but with little selection. I had the chicken parm, but the 2 "boneless chicken breasts" were actually fried chicken tenders smothered in mozzarella. The marinara was greasy and bland, and the spaghetti had obviously been sitting for a while in oil. The garlic knots were tasteless and stale. However, I have to give them credit. My 7 year old loved his cheese pizza and my wife said the chocolate chip pizza was the best she's had. My daughter liked the meatball sub. I guess I just lost the menu roulette game.

I ordered a small chicken alfredo pizza, which was not on the menu but they were happy to make it for me, which was nice. However, what i got was completely inedible! Completely drowning in alfredo sauce that i assume is pre made store bought as it tasted and smelled of chemicals. Similar to cheap and fake blue cheese dressing. The chicken was bland and rubbery, similar to Tyson grilled and frozen chicken strips from the grocery store. Not to mention the small pizza and a side of dipping sauce for 18 dollars!!!!!! What a waste of money and food. Totally inedible, oh well at least the cashier was friendly. 0\10, no stars, thumbs down will not be returning

Not impressed. So much grease, the cheese fell off the pizza. Prices were OK. The service was average. Nothing to look forward to.

Pizza! That's the story here. Real good pizza. I've worked in Manhattan for over 20 years and I have to say that this is the ONLY place I've been to in the south that has pizza that's even close to New York style street pizza. It's not John's Pizza on Time Square, but it's really freekin' good! If you get a chance to go to New York (and I recommend that you don't live there, but it's a nice place to visit), then you'll truly appreciate how well done the pizza here is. And if you don't like the pizza, we can get some guy with one eyebrow and no neck to convince you otherwise!

Horrible Service, Excellent Food. I've been here three times now and this has been a recurring theme. The thing is, if you've ever been to any real New York pizzeria, this is just the way it is. Normally I'd give a lower rating for poor service but that's part of the experience. In fact, most pizzerias in NYC/NY do NOT even have wait service. It seems like an afterthought here. The servers are always busy helping out in the kitchen or something else. They're really there to bus tables. Excellent pizza and authentic Italian food. Try the calzone, stromboli, or chicken parm. The location is odd to me, almost hidden in urban sprawl American. Even with GPS it was difficult to find. Again, a recurring theme for good places to eat. Here's the thing: NY isn't SC and SC isn't NY...the owners might want to improve the service a little and check the attitude, because you are, after all, in SC, and it is a different culture. We tend to be kind and polite here, whereas NY/NYC, understandably, is generally quite the opposite. Menu is nice, food is excellent, and I'll keep going back. I feel like I'm stepping into a Little Italy pizzeria right off Mulberry in NYC. One thing I didn't like is that the hours seem to change frequently. At least twice I've been disappointed by the place being closed at 7pm, despite posted hours otherwise. A little more consistency would go a long way. Pricing is right on par. Quality is priceless. If you're price conscious, go eat some fake pizza.

Update: apparently, they do not offer the buffet any longer. Still the best pizza in Anderson. The Italian food is only ok, but the pizza is the "Best in Anderson". If want to indulge in the buffet, you need to call ahead as its only offered on certain days...which seems to change periodically. If it were based on pizza alone, I'd give it 4 stars (for Anderson). I give it 3 stars based the inconsistent buffet schedule and the Italian dishes.

I have come here for many years now. This place serves the only real pizza in town. They have things other places just cannot give you, such as the Sicilian Pizza and of course the New York Stuffed Pizza (a TRUE pizza pie)

This place has the rudest owner I've ever dealt with little prick we drove for 15 minutes trying to find being new to the area just to have the door locked them him to come to the dot and tell us when i said 5 minutes i meant it is and it looks didn't get a pizza was ridiculous!

Found this restaurant's menu in the Hampton Inn welcome binder in my hotel room. I called the restaurant and because I didn't immediately have the address to the hotel, the person who answered the phone spoke rudely to me and then told me to check with the front desk in a rude tone of voice and then hung up on me as I was trying to describe my location. I don't care how good the pizza is. You WILL not get my patronage EVER....and I will be certain to mention it to the hotel manager as well as all my colleagues who routinely stay here. Horrible!!! No stars (the app made me chose at least one star) for unacceptable service.

I cam here with my family for lunch. Apparently they have a lunch buffet, which I did not check out, but from what I hear, many people enjoy it. The service was absolutely terrible! Worst Waitress Ever! Haha, na I'm just kidding! My sister is a server here, so I had to give her some crap. She did very well, even with all the curveballs I was throwing her! On to the food: None of us had the buffet, but ordered menu items. All in all, we ordered two six-inch sandwiches and two calzones. Let me just say, that the portions were more than plenty. I'm not sure how big of an appetite one would need to finish a footlong sandwich, but a sixer should do just fine. Also, the calzones were huge and stuffed with plenty of goodies. The taste was great too. I really have no complaints. I'm a pizza junkie, and when I'm in town, I wouldn't mind coming back to heckle my sister and grab a bite to eat!

This used to be one of our favorite Pizza places. The food is terrible now. The garlic rolls are dry and no garlic taste at all. The wait staff is SLOW. I would recommend trying somewhere else before going here.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
