Visited this location just the other day and was pleasantly surprised to find a lunch buffet. I don't recall ever seeing a Mexican buffet so of course had to give it a go. To me it seemed well stocked and even had cheese dip, which to me is a winner right there. Nothing mind blowing but for the price it was well worth it. Service was good, seated quickly, drink order taken promptly and was never less then half a glass on our drinks. I never looked at the menu so can't comment on that.

I've eaten here inside a couple of times, and it was typical Mexican food. Tonight, though, I ordered a burrito to go. It was ridiculously terrible. It was smaller than one you would get from Taco Bell (for 4 times the price), and it was drenched in weird, cold sauce. It was enough to make me not go back.

Went to the location on Woodruff Rd. Pleasantly suprised, the restaurant is huge, good service and good food. As we walked in we saw some friends in the bar area that said they go there every week and that the happy hour is the best. We will be going back soon.

Went to the one in Greenville on Old Country Rd. The food, service, and management was fantastic. Great prices for food and drinks. $3.75 for a 32 oz domestic draft.

Friendly staff, accurate service. Ordered the Nachos Del Mar.The young lady brought me the biggest portion of that dish I have ever seen, and it was absolutely delicious. She was very pleasant but not very attentive to my drink...I had to ask for more tea, which I thought was strange because she was so on top of every other aspect of the meal. I have eaten at this particular restaurant before and I can report that there appears to be some change in staff, which gives the place a different feel...in a good way. Given the above circumstances, I would recommend this location at this time. I will follow up at a later date to rule out a fluke visit. Unsweetened tea was exceptional.

Didn't know they allowed smoking in here. We weren't next to any smokers but the lingering smoke smell was pretty awful. I didn't order anything but queso dip and I snacked on the chips and salsa. The drinks were good and the wait staff service was awesome. My friend said his food was good too. Might not come back though because of the smoke smell. Which is too bad.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
