The memories I have tied to this place over the years make me a biased reviewer, but all the same, this place makes a fantastic New England clam chowder and the fritters are fantastic. When I come into town this is, quite literally, the first place I go. I can't vouch for everything they have, but if you want chowder and fritters this is a good place to get them, and super close to the ocean makes the experience all that much better.

Decent food but seems like a once and done kind of place where the owner doesn't care of you make it back. Too salty coleslaw and no tomato on the crab sandwich helped deal my decision. Nice surroundings though.

I've been here a few times this summer and things really haven't been consistent. Sometimes the fried fish was long strips and sometimes fat filets. The clam fritters are doughy without crunch or pepper that I remember in days past. Fried clam strips are good but expensive and fish typically delicious. The tarter sauce and cole slaw are both tasty and fresh. The fries that came with it were limp and bland. Also found a short black hair in cole slaw and clam fritter sooo there was that too. When seafood haven does it right it's excellent but lately it's wobbled into expensive disappointment territory. The service is friendly and location charming though so I haven't given up on them yet.

Great variety, fresh fish, market prices, friendly staffs, special orders entertained, 1 lb to 15lb lobsters, Stonington or Watch hill Oysters, go to where the locals go

Beautiful blue green waters are the perfect back ground for this awesome fish sand which. Lightly battered quickly fried whitest of white flakey cod. Soft hammer.type roll spacey with tarter n lettuce sitting on a bed of French fries again fried to perfection. Totip it off they see their own very good coleslaw. Winner winner chicken dinner. Or in this case fish. Next time the fishing sucks ill cone back in for a sandwich.

Can't say enough. Been coming here with family and froends for years. Food is consistently good and quintessential RHodie sea food. Love going here for lunch. Right across the street from Dunes beach. If you want to try a fab lobster roll, get it! It's pricey, but FRESH and lots of meat....and none of that cold-Mayo junk either. These babies are served up warm with just a bit of melted butter. Go now!

I have looked long and hard all around this country to find a place that knows how to serve up fantastic fried items. It is very hard to find. Well when I found this place I was very pleased with what I ordered. The Chicken Tenders here are of supreme quality. Of course this establishment is known for its clam cakes and for great reason. They are very tasty to say the least. If you find yourself vacationing in Southeastern RI you MUST make your way to The Seafood Haven on Atlantic Ave in Misquamicut. Super nice people there and they will surely take care of you and your appetite!

Got a bunch of things to share and some were definitely better than others. The clam bellies were fresh and delicious. The bang bang shrimp was over battered and a bit underwhelming with flavor, but ok. The lobster roll was awful. Something just not right - maybe frozen lobster. I would go back, but I would make better choices. I also think they charged me for clam cakes that I didn't get. I paid $60 for all that stuff. The corn was fresh and delicious.

Paid $16 for hot lobster roll. Very small with lettuce and fried onions. (On a hot buttered lobster roll?? New to me) Had no taste at all. (Was then grateful for the fried onion at that point). Spend an extra $2 and travel about 3 miles inland to the SeaGoose. Way bigger and tasted like it was just caught. Was delicious! Well worth the money. Their menu says "from the dock to your plate". I believe it. Just because seafood haven is across from the beach doesn't mean it's fresh. It certainly didn't taste it. I won't be going back.

The staff is friendly, but the kitchen is super slow. I had the clam cakes and fried pickles. The clam cakes were very doughy, it tasted more like a salted ball of dough -- no clam flavor. The pickles were good, cheesy and crisp. But the slow kitchen really kills it.

Love Seafood Haven - we go there often while on vacation in Weekapaug. Their clam cakes are awesome and clam chowder is good too.

Love the chowder and fritters! Can't wait for it to open again this year. Also fish and chips and lobster bisque is tasty and plenty to fill you up. Can't go wrong at seafood haven!

Everything that was fried tasted like it was in old oil. The clam cake was mushy and not cooked through. Lobster roll was tough.

All fresh, local caught seafood. reasonably priced because you're paying solely for the food and not for a sit down restaurant's atmosphere. In walking distance from the beach, but not in the middle of beach traffic so it is not over crowded. Clam strips and whole bellies are perfection, and the clam cakes are a must, classic.

Don't get the lobster roll! It's half a hot dog roll for $16 and it's not even fresh lobster. In fact, it tastes like the immitation lobster meat you buy at a store. The clam strips tasted frozen, and the cheeseburger is gross. The only good food our group had was the cole slaw. I will never come back here.

Perfect no frills seafood shack, outdoor seating, fun cove for the kids to play in while you wait. Ice cream shop next door is a nice bonus.

Good food but Crazy slow. Their kitchen needs to learn a few things about efficiency.

Yeah, I'm the duke, please someone take it from me, take it from me now. I'm never eating here again ever. Its staffed with rude high school kids who could care less about anything. It always took forever to get the food, it would have taken me less time to go across the street, into the ocean, spear a fish, clean it and cook it myself. Last time I waited in the long line and when we go to the window, nope were too busy and cant serve you know, come back in a half hour. Could now have been any more rude. We used Yelp to find Two Little Fish down the road, go there instead, much much better service, speed & food. STAY AWAY from this place!!!

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. One of my all time favorite places to go. I grew up sitting on those benches and searching for crabs in the rocks every summer when our family packed up the car to stay in Westerly for a few weeks. Their fish sandwich is killer. Also they have all three types of clam chowder which you never see. While the Manhattan and RI style are good, nothing compares to their NE style clam chowder. Oh baby. It's always the perfect mix of clams and potatoes. Finally their clam cakes are out of this world. I see a lot of people complaining about them but I've never had a bad one. They have always been cooked to perfection and full of clams. Yea sometimes the service is slow but you're at the beach. Chill out and relax go explore the salt pond, let the kids enjoy themselves, you'll hear you're number announced and you'll get a great meal.

Looks like they have kids running this place. The fish sandwich was very greasy. The clams in the bowl of chowder needed to be chopped up more. They were very tough to chew.No taste to the chowder. This place won't last long.

Typical take out joint across the street from the beach (out of view), with tables on both sides of the building. All the tables on the shady side of the building by the bridge were full of kids and adults alike not eating, just hanging out, so we sat in the full sun on a real scorcher of a day. The fish and chips were decent enough (cod) but pricey at $10.50 and I added the clam cakes (fritters) with chowder along with it. No forks included with the meals and none for the taking. Odd. The clam cakes had zero clam flavor, and carefull disection of all three I got yielded not a spec of clam. Doughy and filling otherwise. The chowder was thin and once again lacking any clams or other seafood flavor. My wife was even more dissapointed with her "clam cakes". Maybe they just use clam juice? I'm surprised this is the second-highest rated seafood restaurant in Westerly here on Yelp. I'll pass next time.

Best lobster bisque ever (if you don't like it too creamy). Best RI chowder. Best clamcakes. This little gem rocks, my favorite place to grab a nosh near the beach. My only complaint is that when you call ahead - the order is ready but you still have to wait in the "place your order here" line to pay which somewhat defeats the purpose.

In the search for a new seafood spot near my parents' new house, I ventured down to Weekapaug (while experiencing the barrage of "Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tube Man" Family Guy references from friends) to check this spot out. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I love the location - right by the breachway, so you can sit and watch the boats go by (as the high school kids jump off the bridge). The service was quick enough, and the chowder was solid. But the one item that's key to the Rhode Island seafood experience - the clam cake - fell flat. It was too doughy, with barely a hint of clam, and it could've used more time in the fryer to reach optimal crispiness. Also, the chowder/clam cake combo was a full dollar more expensive than Iggy's or Aunt Carrie's. For $8.10 with tax, I'd expect something that can fill me up. But then again, that's what you get when you end up at a beach that's mobbed with snooty Connecticut families.

I've gone many times bc it was the only take out seafood place on the area (go to 2 little fish down the street instead!). They acted as if they were the only place in the area and didn't seem to care about repeat customers. The last time I went it was the beginning of the season, we got quoted a price "around $70-I don't have the new menu in front of me do it might be a bit more". We get there, the price is $134! Almost double! They were mad at us! We only had $120 on us- they gave us the food for that price but forgot 4 things! 1 chowder, 1 bisque, clam cakes/fritters and no tartar sauce at all. When we asked for the rest they weren't even apologetic! It's always kids there, no clear management and over priced- drive 1-2 miles down the road to 2 little fish-you won't be disappointed there!

Went for clam cakes and chowder at the end of the season- awful. I think the clam cakes were cooked then microwaved. Or frozen and unfrozen- something weird was up. Not good at all, only in business because of the location I'm sure.
