I have now been to the West Manchester Diner a few times for breakfast, and if you are looking for a classic roadside diner breakfast, this is the place. Clean, ample seating and a friendly staff. I enjoyed my rye toast quite a bit, and tried a PA breakfast side dish called scrapple that is weirdly delicious. The eggs were perfectly 'over-medium' and my hash browns were great; not greasy or burnt like I normally find in diners. The even share their Wi-Fi password with customers so I was able to get some work done over breakfast. I have seen a lot of businesses come and go over the last few years at this location, but i think the West Manchester Diner is here to stay.

Waitress and greeter were very friendly but it doesn't make up for the very tasteless eggs and hash browns. Even the unsweetened tea was weak. This will be our last visit.

Breakfast is a must at this place!! Excellent quality and quantity for the price. The morning server is one of the beat in York. She knows her stuff. Excellent service when she is there!! (Jodi)

Stopped by and sat at the bar on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I had driven past this place a number of times but it was my first time here. As with any place it's all about expectations. Have I been to better diners? Of course. But they kept my coffee cup full, even though they were busy. And the food they brought out was hot, something others can't seem to do. The prices seemed very reasonable for the area. Coffee was $1.25. Eggs, hash browns, and toast for around $3. You could certainly do worse for breakfast.

Perfectly average. We were seated quickly and given drinks and menus quickly, though it did take the waitress a few minutes to get to us customer service-wise it was a normal pleasant experience. The food, a chicken sandwich and a Monte cristo were average. Not great, not terrible, average in every way. My better half was very excited by the prospect of tater tots as a side. And thought they were your average tater tots (though she does love tater tots). So, there you have it. The place is okay.

They made a liar out of me. Here it is 14 months later and they are still open. I ate breakfast here again recently because some friends wanted to meet here before an event. They must be surviving on the breakfast trade, because the food is actually not bad at breakfast time. The restrooms still smell like a bus station. Not the kind of smell that comes from the last occupant, but the sour smell of a place that has not been cleaned properly. Two stars for breakfast. Zero for dinner.
