Service was quick and friendly. I liked the gyro, but the three people I was with found their food to be hilariously bad. One had the stuffed chicken, one had salmon cakes, and the third had crab cake. I thought the crab cake was just ok (had a few bites). Get dessert too.

Every time I am in this area, this is where I eat.... Why? Because it's that good, an old school diner, serving huge portions, in a clean friendly environment. The chefs know what they are doing, their experience is evident in the flavors and subtleties in the dishes, everything I have ever eaten here was phenomenal. The wait staff is super, friendly and on the ball. The floor is clean the tables well appointed and clean as well. Super service, super food, super value in a clean family friendly environment.... I suggest you check this place out if you have the opportunity, don't come here if you are not hungry..... If you are hungry you will be sated when you leave. I promise. I forgot to tell you about breakfast.... 2 eggs, sausage, home fries, wheat toast, free coffee(excellent) super deal super meal

I had the Jägerschnitzel which means "hunter's cutlets" in German, and the dish was originally made with venison or wild boar backstrap, pounded thin. It is now normally made with pork, and the Texas specialty chicken fried steak is believed to be an outgrowth of this dish brought to the USA by German immigrants. And coconut cake with a root beer float. Not the healthiest meal , I've had but the customer service was enjoyable along with a decent meal and warm faces. The price was higher than expected $13 bucks for schnitzel and $5 bucks for cake. You get to enjoy this earth only once right? So enjoy it to its full.

One of our favorite spots for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Coffee is always on and the menu is pretty diverse. Decent prices and service is good.

I go here regularly as I work nearby I wouldn't be classified as a regular but I'm probably eating here once a month at least. The service is just OK, they're friendly but not as attentive as they should be. The place is clean which is always a plus and the food is good, not great but consistently good so you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would complain about it. The hours don't make a whole lot of sense, there is a truck stop out back but they don't open til 5 or 6 and they close pretty early. So if you're expecting a late night meal this isn't the place to go. The prices border on expensive, I've been to many small town local type diners with better food for a much better price. People rant and rave about this place and it just doesn't live up to the hype. But if you're nearby and hungry, consider making a stop here for some real american diner food.

Really good breakfast, not so fond of the dinner. Service is hit or miss, usually sit at the counter and hope Joanne is working.

Another diner, nothing too wild about this place, but I like it. I come here when I'm hung over and order a steak and eggs. The steak is actually pretty good for a diner, and the eggs delicious. It's a bit pricey, but whatever. I'm pretty sure it's gear towards truckers, as they have a big parking lot in the back. But I believe they make you pay to park your truck. I don't know if this is normal for truckers, I'm not a trucker, I'm just throwing it out there that you have to pay to park. Like I said, it's just a diner. I go about once a month, it's not my favorite place in the world but I enjoy the food.

They give large yummy portions! Service was great. Took the whole family there and there was something for everyone, even the pick eaters!

We were worried about stopping because of a few other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with this diner. The place was clean, everything one was really nice and the portions were generous. Our server, Sheryl, was very very attentive. The food all came out fast. The menu is very large so you have lots of options. They do not take American Express.

Very clean, waitstaff very nice. Husband had the meat lovers scramble it was average nothing special and wont get it again. I had the biscuits with sausage gravy with scrambled eggs.....my favorite. I like to try them where ever we go to see who's got the best! We would definitely come back. We are heading down to Annapolis for the boat show held there every year at this time.

We ate there and the service and food was good. The special was pork with mash potatoes ans sourkrout. My mother-in-law asked if she could just get the potatoes and sourkrout (2 sides!). Wheb we got the bill they charged us the full price for the special and refused to change it. It would have been nice if the waiter had said he was going to charge for a full meal instead of 2 sides. Cashier was rude and dismissive when questioned about the charge. We won't be going back.

I parked my semi out back overnight and ate here the following morning. The service was quick, and the owner was present at the counter and friendly, making sure everything was ok. The food is typical of a Greek diner and offered at a fair price. I had the vegetable omelet with a side of bacon. Very good with the hot sauce.

Food is good, but be sure to get a meal and not just a sandwich or waffle, etc. They will still charge full price. Not an a la carte place. The dining room is the best place to sit. They tend to forget about you if you sit over by the bar/counter area. Bring cash to tip your server. The owner always says "this machine doesn't do tips"....as if she wasn't the one who purchased it.... I feel bad for the servers that don't get a tip from those that don't carry cash (who carries cash anyway??). Why the heck would you buy a credit card machine for the good service industry that doesn't take tips? They do have an atm machine, but you get a service charge. I think it's $2.00... And sometimes it's out of service.

Don't go without cash!!!! We asked specifically upon arrival if they accepted cards and they answered yes. The waitress was as sweet as their wonderful cheesecake but when I got my charge slip there was no place for a tip. When I asked how to provide a tip , they said they only accept cash tips. WHAT??? Thank goodness my 10 year old had some allowance she brought. This kind of information needs to be given upfront-especially when people are careful to ask about payment upfront. The food was solid and the waitress was great but make sure you have cash! Three stars for the really awkward experience.

My husband and I ate here on the 4th of July. They were open and super friendly. Food was delicious and our total check with tip was less than $20. Service was excellent and the food portions were bigger than I expected for the price. We decided to bring our kids the next time and we fed a family of 5 for under $40! Again the portions were nicely sized and delicious! The staff was very friendly. Note: They do not accept tips on a credit card so make sure you bring cash for the tip!

Over priced food, tricking drivers to pay for parking and rude staff. I will be coming here again next time I need to take a piss outside.

Good Food. Decent Prices. Nothing super special, but friendly staff and great desserts. Obviously this place is a truck stop, but it's always clean and nice. I come here often and am rarely disappointed.

Solid place. Kind of like the type of roadside diner you'd see in a movie without the cheese factor (no old time looks here, more like the restaurant part of your average low budget hotel). The wait staff was attentive and didn't give us the side eye even though we came lugging 3 adults with 3 babies. I had the egg salad sandwich, because it was one of the only vegetarian things on the menu. It was ok, not great, more saucy than I would have liked. A friend of mine had the crab cake, which was massive, but she didn't comment much on it's authenticity or taste. My other friend had the sampler, which seemed like it was pretty much everything fried on a plate. I'm a little surprised the plate wasn't deep fried, too. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, and based on the food I'd give it 2 stars, but the service was great and the waitresses were very accommodating. TIP: They do accept credit cards but you can NOT put tips on the card, so bring cash.

Great little diner. Fair prices and huge plates of good home cooked food. Truck parking in rear. Will definitely put this one on my list of places to come back to.

Went to meet a friend here for lunch today and this was my first time here. It was a typical diner type place and it felt that way. Casual and simple. We both had Gyro's and mine was delicious I was a little disappointed that they didn't have hummus, but hey, it was a diner not a Greek restaurant. Anyway, we sat there for 2-1/2hrs talking and catching up and it was no problem. I liked the place and I would and probably will go back again.

Your basic diner. Good food. Decent prices. Desserts that are home made and make you wish your entree/sandwich/soup was a smaller portion so you had space for dessert. Service is quick. I've never had a problem with the food. My only food gripe is that their chili is too mild/sweet. Then again, they're not looking for chili heads like me and I realize that they need to cater to the general population. The prices are just a little higher than what you find at other diners in the greater Harrisburg area (or at least they appear to be that way to me). I've eaten here several times and I've never seen it empty. It's not always busy, but there's always at least a few other diners. As you would expect, the coffee is also good. Always hot and your cup never goes dry. While I'm here . . . can someone please explain why so many of the diners in Harrisburg are decorated in these hospital-ish pastel colors that remind me of nurses' uniforms? Don't they realize that red makes you eat more? Finally, I'd probably give this a 3.5 . . . but I'm rounding up. The most interesting thing is that they don't have any potato chips. I know . . . it's shocking! Mere miles from the city of York where they make the chips this diner actually shuns them. It's actually kind of nice . . . most places shove a handful (or less) of lack lustre chips on your plate just to take up space. This place doesn't stoop. To quote our server, "you won't find a single chip in this place!". You go girl!
